Liz tiredly waves away Cassie's thanks. "No problem."

Once Sintara is inside, Ruslan drives the carrier away from the engagement area and head west as instructed. "Careful, no seatbelt," he said. "And I'll need help in destroying any pursuers that might be out there," he added.

"I got my gun, and my power" cassandra said, ahifting to look about them

As Ruslan drives the troop carrier through the streets to leave the city they're currently at, he notices that people on the streets almost always look at the carrier as it passes through them. "Seems this thing attracts a lot of attention," he remarked. "Is there anyone after us? I'm not gonna rush unless we're being chased," he added.

"The attention is an unfortunate drew back." Katherin admitted. "Unfortunately with the size of our group a choices of vehicles is kind of limited. They will chase us Ruslan. They want to capture or destroy us. But they're not close enough to worry about yet. Sam bought a good head start."

"A mini bus might be good" Cody suggested, sleaking up, "heres your knife back roxy"

"Well, you're right," Ruslan responds, "it's hard to find a vehicle that can carry nine people." He notices that it's the first time in days or maybe weeks that he drives in a civil manner. As the carrier approaches the city limits, he notices that no city-wide search has been done yet. "Should be safe for the next 24 hours, unless our location is already known to them and they're already tracking us," he said.

Roxy smiled her thanks. She hadn't really expected Cody to return her knife. She figured it had gotten lost when he had gotten knocked out of the shadows. "Thank you. My knives are very special to me. Again I am sorry for putting you on the spot. Maybe from now on you would feel better guarding the twins. Maybe defending wouldn't be as difficult as attacking."

After a few miles, they enter the next town. "Sintara," he said, "did you say we stop here or the town after this one?" As the carrier runs in the town, pedestrians keep looking at it just like in the previous town. Now if the government broadcasts in a press conference that a group of terrorists are escaping and are last seen driving a military transport vehicle, they'll be constantly on the chase.

"I said you would get it back, so I got it back to you" Cody said with a shrug "I was needed. I would do it again," he said softly

"Any idea where to spend the night?" Ruslan asked. The carrier is stopped by yet another traffic light. Somehow the carrier has always been stopped at red lights; perhaps it's just one of those unlucky days.

Roxy shook her head. "That doesn't make it right. We all have things we are uncomfortable doing. In order for us to work well as a group we need to take those things into consideration. I will look for other solutions before asking you to do something like that again."

Liz was impressed with Roxy's apology. She didn't seem the sort that apologize often. Liz reached over and placed her hand on top of Cody's. Although her ability was limited to physical wounds Liz sent her healing energies to him. Maybe the warm would let him know he was not alone.

Knowing that several people are having an argument in the back, Ruslan does not pick any side of the argument yet. He drives the carrier to a nearby gas station to fill the carrier's tank. "We don't want this thing to run out of fuel in the middle of a hectic chase," he said as he stops the carrier at the gas station. "And please agree on a solution once we're back on the roads".

Cody looked over at Liz, then shook his head at Roxy, "there are no other solutions. I can get places quickly and easily that you guys can't. What if they have another shielder? I will do what I have to do to keep everyone safe. I will do what I have to do, even though if it hurts me, I will do it"

Cassandra got out the car as well, after a firm "stay moe". She looked about, wary of an attack. She wasn't about to havd them attacked sitting in the carrier,

sintara sighed, looking outside. "There might be somewhere we can go" she said softly

"I'm glad you're willing to do things that aren't easy for you. We all have something we have a hard time handling...oh never mind... I never talk this much." Roxy said uncomfortably.

"Like I was uncomfortable going underground. I did it and would do it again, but it will never be easy for me."

Sam shove his hands in his pockets staying quiet.

Pride just looked at them deep in thought

Ruslan gets out of the carrier to fill its tank. It takes a couple of minutes to take it to full tank, because of the carrier's large fuel capacity. "Let's get back in, guys, we're moving again!" he said loudly as the carrier's on maximum fuel. He then moves back into the carrier's driver seat and restarts the engine.

Cassandra climbed back in, setting into a seat

Once Ruslan is sure that everyone is inside, he asks those at the back, "So, have you all agreed on a solution?" He then resumes driving and the carrier leaves the gas station.
