Again the historical accuracy in this RP isn't suppose to be accurate, I've indicated that just because something had happened initially in a previous canon lore doesn't mean it happened here, it all depends on who is controlling who and they decide how and what happened. Sure if there was someone claiming the UNSC and another person the Covenant then maybe there's a problem.

Considering neither have been claimed if you wanted to go in and claim the Covenant and have your history indicate the Covenant had wiped out the humans entirely, that's perfectly fine unless someone comes in saying they want to make the UNSC their faction.

Sure if there was someone claiming the UNSC and another person the Covenant then maybe there's a problem.

So if I claimed UNSC and said that they never fought the Covenant and they only ever fought whatever the stupid humans who broke away called themselves. Then a month later someone claims the Covenant and tried to have them be at war with the UNSC. What happens then?

I'm guessing they'd have to make a Covenant faction that hasn't been at war with humanity. If they were then it would be a separate humanity that is similar to the UNSC but not the same maybe?

Yeah I was considering joining this but the mashup of all of these factions while trying to make all of them cooexist and have always cooexisted is making my head hurt.

@Burning Kitty if you make a profile for the UNSC their history is yours, you have priority because you came first. Should someone make the Covenant later on they have to abide to your history if they want to include the UNSC

@Dead Cruiser well considering the existing factions have not interacted previously I dont see the problem. The galaxy is a large place, each faction having their own previous issues. It just so happens things are set in motion for them to meet
