Welcome to the Giroth Incursion my fellow warriors! This is a warhammer 40k rp, and for people new to warhammer, look at the hider below:
Warhammer 40k is a universe where beings similar to that of dungeons and dragons exists. Fun fact, it originally was a dungeon and dragons story. It quickly split off however. Well, the most common point of view is the Imperium of man, in particular the adeptus astartes(space marine chapters). Sometimes is adeptus mechanicus(a.k.a occult mechanicum, the mechanicum) which is basicly the imperiums engineers. The other races vary, but for this roleplay, and most situations, it is these main four. The Imperium, the Eldar, the Orks, and the Chaos marines(<- ultimate a$$wholes, but awsome). Each race has unique abilities and equipment, as well as there tolerance to other species. Any other information or more detail, I would look up on your own or read some of the books(the horus herecy series by black library is really good)
If your not new, well then lets get on with the show. Here are the rules...
1. Apply character in ooc. Character tab is for current characters only. 2. Cursing is allowed, but don't curse your damn head off. But words like F&%k must be censored. 3. If there is something you don't like, send me a PM. I will debate it with you. 4. No major geek arguments in the chat. you can discuss something, but don't waste your time on a thing like "the chaos are stronger than eldar""No the eldar are stronger". IT. IS. CHILDISH. >:[ 5. No killing a persons character without permission, cause I will ban-hammer you. ---[] <-hammer 6. the prefered rank of a persons character would be high on the chain of command, but still be in the fight. You can be a simple foot soldier, but you must quickly go up the chain of command. 7. In your character submission you must put "WAAAARGH!" exactly like that somewhere in the character form. That way I know you've read this.

In the warp, the dark gods have a plan to recover a artifact that has great chaotic power, which the eldar stole soon after the war in heaven. They hid it in the Giroth solar system, where the humans are colonizing planets near the border of the tau empire, a garrison per say. They did not however suspect the orks arriving to invade and steal. But the orks simply wanted one spot in particular; the Fluens volcano. The colonists noticed this, and tried to deal with it, but failed. More and more orks came, and soon overran the place. Space marine chapters Blood Ravens, Iron fists, Space Wolves and Ultramarines were sent to deal with the issue, as well as other imperium forces. They set up on one of the space arrays in the system and quickly tried to deal with it. The Eldar came running quickly, almost all of the craft worlds had a webway in the system. They watched and waited, doing a strike on orks here and there. Until now...

No and yes. Two factions have the same interests: Eldar and Imperium. They wish to stop chaos, who are playing the orks with misguided information. The orks simply want a weapon, the chaos are the ork's puppeteers, and the eldar don't want this to happen so they ask for help from the imperium. And any other species are in special cases, this includes necrons, tau, dark eldar, tyranids(hope I don't get this one), and any other species that people want(star gods, old ones[unlikely], etc.).
Hmm intresting. Are you using new lore of primus and custodoes crusaders alongside the sos being active or the pre 8th lore and the pre rise of guliman?
I kinda know the lore quite well, I still have to fully catch up on 8th but I have that fairly solid.
Hmm... My knowledge of 40k isn't exactly the best, but I kinda want to WAAAGH. I suppose my knowledge doesn't need to be the greatest, if I'm playing an ork...
Question, can I play as an Ork, and is it alright if my knowledge on the subject matter isn't very good?
