Everyone is busy because of the holiday, flags rose and streamers were set everyone was dancing. The dinner was filled with new year themed food. The community watch was setting up some fireworks. But if you have a Level 3 Keycard things are not peaceful

TOP SECRET MILITARY BASE

"We got strange readings here very unusual..." A man with a 2 star hat said while monitoring the computer

"These are universal that out sensors cannot pick up a notable source it is spreading all over the globe." Another man said as he types stuff.

"The signal disappeared?" Another man said.

The signals was mistaken to be some sort of a miscalculation from the broadcast towers which was presumed to be glitched and caused a strong bond to all frequency which allowed it to spread all over the globe. But this was not true. Because the signal did not disappear it went out of range it was 'Interdimensional' and the military were not capable of reading signals in that 'class'

Soren sighed in apprehension. All around the world people were celebrating this new technology, but not him. He tried to be a logical person when he could, and the statistics show that it’s impossible for us to be the only life in the universe. What- or who- could we unleash upon ourselves by going to other worlds uninvited? Without observing them first? What if we found a world full of communists?
Soren shuddered in disgust before taking a drag on his cigarette. Better dead than red. He turned away from the TV and saw the Legacy Gate that had been erected near his mansion in New Washington, Cuba. New York was opening theirs, but he wasn’t so sure it was a good idea. He couldn’t shake the feeling of foreboding that accompanied the sight of that gate. He had a platoon of soldiers clustered around the gate to prevent civilians from touching it or messing with it, but they weren’t carrying enough ammo for a sustained firefight. They would have to rely on reinforcements or the police to arrive with more if something bad were to happen.
“Sir, your presence is requested in the war room.”
Soren turned to see his secretary, Ms. Adeline Jensen, a beautiful woman of twenty two years with high cheekbones and shoulder length platinum blonde hair. She was the closest thing Soren had to a lover, they would hook up for one night stands occasionally but they never made anything official.
“Thank you Adeline, I’ll head down there right now.”
Soren made his way through his mansion into the war room, a bunker deep within the Earth full of weapons and battle hardened soldiers tasked with protecting their beloved Commandant. When he arrived he glanced around the room, the War Table was in the center of the room, a very large oval table made from mahogany and steel with a holographic projector mounted in it. Currently a hologram of the New York gate hovered above the table with information around it.

“Sir, the gate is giving off some strange readings, we’ve never seen these before. We don’t know what it will do when activated, but there’s too much power flowing through it to be just opening up to Alpha Centauri like Legacy said it would.”

Soren frowned. The gate hasn’t even opened yet and there’s already problems with it.
“How do we even know how much power that would take? Either way, that’s the US’s problem. They’re opening the gate, not us. Call me if we have a problem that I can deal with, otherwise I’ll be upstairs.”
Those eggheads always had problems with everything, BUT they were very rarely wrong. Soren didn't know what to make of this.

Russian Federation, Siberia

In the desolate plains of Siberia - Project Gateway was underway, in the old and now refurbished old-USSR underground facility. Thousands of generators running on crude oil, siphoned from the nearby pipes. The cold helping to keep everything cooled and operational - Russia lacked the great technologies of the West. But what it made up for was sheer ingenuity and the will and tenacity of it's people.

Many had assumed, that when Russia started their own Project just four years ago - that they would barely reach anywhere. They assumed, since they lacked the instruments and knowledge of trans-dimensional physics - they'd be out-done by the West and left to the dustbins of Earth. Well, Russians weren't quitters and they had a way of improvising. The Duma had authorized and funded many of the best minds the Russian Federation had produced and hauled them over to Siberia - no expense was too much. Every scientist would receive a very handsome reward for their work, not to mention any patent they discovered was theirs - after taxes, of course - but they alone would be herald as heroes, in the days of the Soviet Union.

They were just one minute into the hour long count-down - the rest of the world would not be the first. As numerous computers started recording and monitoring the data - slowly aiding the scientists in starting the process. As soon enough the steel shutters were slid into place - and the Siberian facility soon activated it's nuclear reactors. The UN took away the world' nuclear weapons, but nobody said anything against nuclear power - especially since the West wasn't so keen on sharing its other knowledge. Not without paying a deep price - whatever the case, Russia would go its own way as usual. Unchained by anything.

Poland, Warsaw

In the city of Poland - a meeting was being held by the nine heads-of-state that made up the union that was known as the Alliance of Ex-Soviet Republics. The name itself was ironic, as one might think it was a continuation of the old Soviet Union - rather it was much farther than that. It was an alliance against such times - while at the same time, an alliance against the encroaching German state of the West.

Many hadn't forgotten the armies of Communists that had surged from the East - at the start of World War Two, neither could they forget the abandonment after the end of it. Many had spoken on how the West was weak back then, how insecure - it was something, one German politician named Adolf Schicklgruber had tried using to re-arm Germany, before he had been defeated in the polls.

Sadly - many newly independant nations of the former Russian Empire had assumed the West were lead by men of intelligence and good character. They were a hundred times better than the rulers of the former Czar regime. Sadly, when the bells rang and the skies darkened with fire - they were left to hang. France and Britain both promised freedom to Poland - before that promise was stripped from them. They later came to their aid - after the Hammer and Sickle was knocking at the door of the Germans.

They had driven back to Reds - and then, when the people hoped for liberation they were denied it. As the West made peace with those they had called enemies for six years. It was a lesson, none forgot - the lesson, when the nations once more took their freedom into their own hands. The West was so eager to curry them then - but the nine would hear none of it. The famous Polish politician Lech Walesa had once spoken famously: 'he hadn't regained Polish freedom, to surrender it to the yoke of the German'.

As such AESR was formed - the old plan of Józef Piłsudski, the First Marshal of Poland, was dug up. The concept of a 'wall' between the East and West - this time around, there wouldn't be the hoping from Western aid or Eastern mercy. They would defend themselves and bow to noone. The world seemed all too eager to reinforce that ideal - as the UN nor the United States were eager to help the ex-Commies to restore their lives. Instead the nine men and women sitting here, decided to help eachother.

Compared to the other unions and alliances - AESR was rather equal in its membership. The notion was simple - they all needed eachother. Poland was big, but no match for juggernauts of Germany and Russia. Bulgaria' industry could not compete with the United States. Estonian' naval cannons were useless without an army to defend her borders. As such, these people had come together - and had done so for the past seventeen years. From a simple military union, to that of a political and economic one. The agenda: the Gateway Projects.

It seemed almost every nation on Earth was developing one - China, Japan, USEA, Germany, France, UK, United States, Legacy - even Iran and Israel. All of them were eager to break into the next-frontier of human development. Namely the idea of reaching other planets via teleportation gateways - it seemed like something out of science fiction, now turned into science fact. Many were eager to reach the deadline of 2018. Eager to outdo the other. While many were eager to pour money, time and manpower into it - the nations of AESR had different ideals.

Many had done the calculations, and to them it didn't seem that feasible. Not to mention - they were mostly an isolationist confederacy. No member could dictate the will of the other - but mostly in this light, none of them were eager to take a chunk out of their GDP for something, that was liable to be expensive in the long-term. Namely many scientists in their respective states - had spoken, that while the idea might be feasible. There was no direct way of knowing where or how to control such a portal - for all they knew, many of the portals would connect to a barely breathable planet or worse...a planet at all.

There had been a referendum to debate that - the people, were informed of what such a cost might be and it's likely outcome. Not many politicians were eager to take up such a plan - instead, they had diverted a good portion of such GDP into increasing their industry instead. Russia in-general was buying up lots of electronics and raw goods easily. While they hadn't informed the world of their own Gateway Project - it was easy to see, from the numbers that they were. They just weren't telling where they were building it exactly.

As it was - AESR instead would focus on the possibility of cashing-in, on the likely influx of people heading to these new 'worlds'. If not, then they'd continue their own way as usual - looking inward, instead of outward as many other states liked to do.

USEA

In the city of USEA, a council was being held by one hundred most powerful political figures in this country in a big building, protected by a few thousands of soldiers. On the very top of the nearby roofs, sounds of the snipers reporting their current situation can barely be heard as a dozen of helicopters circling around this heavy protected building. And at the outside of the security perimeter, where millions of people, discussing and laughing about the opening of the Gate by the Legacy. Their eyes were filled with hope for the new year and the next human achievement after landing on the moon. But not only the people observing this new achievement of the human race, their leaders are also watching, but with different feelings.

"I afraid that we are standing in our hardest time" Looking at the huge screen that is counting down until the Gate open, the Prime Minister talked, making eye contact with everyone who was in the room. Some of them shook their head to express their agreement, but most remain silent. The Prime Minister sighed, looking at the ceiling. "It is not that because of our lead that had led our people to this problem, but because our nation was so young. Even with the " Biological Advancement Act," we could not pull back the difference between us compared to China, the United Germanic Republic, or any of them. " The old Prime Minister took a breath before continue. " Agreed that we have become a new world power. But the only thing that we are advanced is in agriculture. Our decision of creating the "Biological Advancement Act" had made our nation well-known for genetics industry. But it is too late. For if China gained any land from this new world, we will lose. And the blood of our people will not be carried by those who invaded us, but by us, the leaders that had led the nation fall."

The Prime Minister turned his chair back, facing with his colleagues. He remembered what he had said in his oath when receiving this title. Slowly, but surely, the old Prime Minister repeated his oath, as it is now his time to receive the leader of this new nation. "I promise to be the one that pulled this region full of hatred and disbelief toward each other into a single nation. And it is my greatest honor to serve my people, protect them from the outside, and to lead them from the age of fear and discord. I do this, not to receive gifts or recognition from the people, but because from the love of my nation." And others inside that room, they started spoke their oath with their heart. Until the end, when their voices blended into one. " I vow, with the blood that flows in me, and the history that had bonded with me, I vowed. To serve, to protect, and to lead my people to a better future. No matter the cost."

The room fell into silence. On the screen, the sound of the electric clock is ticking, showing there are only thirty minutes left before the Gate opens.

BERLIN

Taskforce: Viperstrike

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Underground in the Berlin test site, the Foxhound taskforce winds down for the rest of the day, their experimental suits are warm after another test run. Lieutenant Mikkel Edwards, Sergeant Erik Winters, Corporal Aaron Klaus, Corporal Kris Eurich, Private Friedhelm Munch, Private Wilhelm Munch, all the members of taskforce Viperstrike, they were testing the new personal multipurpose, enclosed battle armor. The armor was supposed to be used for the exploration of new, unexplored worlds. They served as both an exploration tool for their mobility in the field, and a weapon of war, as the suit was equipped with state of the art equipment from other countries, including but not limited to, Lasers, Hunter Seeker missiles, Self-loading mortars, grenade launchers, railguns, advanced solar cell power power pack, and multipurpose snoopers.

Viperstrike was one of the taskforces that were created to test and use the suits, there were -of course- others, Taskforce Sharkfin, Taskforce Greyhound, Taskforce Ludwig, Taskforce Charlie, Taskforce Firebat, and Taskforce Foxhound. The Taskforces were all made up of representatives from each country, Viperstrike was the Germanic Taskforce. The suits were reaching a point where they would no longer be experimental; they were two phases away from finalizing the project. The Phase they just concluded was user safety, it passed with flying colors. The next two phases are ease of use, and Combat Endurance. Ease of use will tackle whether a completely new pilot could understand the controls in a single sitting, while the Combat Endurance phase attempts to ascertain how long the Suit could last in a full combat mission. This will be simulated by harsh terrain, several targets and objectives along the entire course which resides in West Austria.

“You think they’ll give us some time outside for today?” A hopeful tone echoed in the underground barracks, the Taskforce had been in the test site for at least a week testing the User safety, pushing the suit to the limits. There were no casualties, and most tests were conducted without the pilot inside the suit for additional safety measures.

“I don’t think so…” His brother replied, he carried a grim expression, he was sat down on one of the barracks’ beds watching the time, “Won’t be long now, the world will change after today.”

“Yeah, and we’d finally get to do some field testing.” The Sergeant butted in, he carried a condescending tone, just the usual army banter. The Sarge grew up somewhere in the country side, that was where he decided to join the army after seeing them conducting training operations nearby. He was fascinated.

The Lieutenant glanced at them from the end of the room, sitting at a table, cleaning his equipment. “Cut the chatter, and get some shut eye. We won’t get enough of it later on.” The authority and the firmness of his tone led the room to go quiet for just a moment.

“Yes sir!” the room boomed in reply, they respected the Lieutenant, he’d been in combat drops overseas. He has seen action in Africa, Somalia. Deep combat scars all over his body remind the team of that. If there was one person who could lead the Taskforce, it was Lieutenant Edwards.

AUSTRIA

Remote Country Side

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Major Johan Erwin, commander of the 5th Wiking panzer division, conducting training exercises in Austria. “Two, Four, and Six, advance on the left flank, first tank squad, spear formation, third squad, shore up our right flank!” the barking of the young German officer crackled in every tank’s radio. The countryside was mostly flat, forests and shrubbery broke up the landscape, the tanks that were ordered to move on the left flank did so precisely, the squads that weren’t advancing, fired on their faraway targets, “Fire for effect!” Erwin shouted into his radio, and in an instant the air cracked with the cacophony of cannon fire. Looking through the commander sights, Erwin then shouted again, “Direct hit, advance advance advance!” The tanks rolled forwards, the ground shook in their wake, Johan Erwin looked at his crew, and signaled, “All good?” the crew responded with two words, “All good!” Erwin was pleased with today’s performance.

“End of exercise!” He shouted as they drove to their nearby staging ground and outpost. Their tanks were state of the art, the Germanic Republic provided tanks for most of NATO’s members; these included the Leopard 3 alongside the Puma IFV. The 5th Wiking Panzer division was outfitted with Leopard 3a1’s, Puma IFV’s, Anti-air vehichles, and mobile artillery, accompanied by a dedicated Panzer Grenadier division. When they got to the staging ground, Erwin and the others conversed about the Legacy gate.

“Bah! Legacy is a hack! I’m willing to bet you that they probably do some shady business underneath that Science bullshit.” One of the crewmen shouted, obviously anti-Legacy.

“I’m inclined to agree that Legacy hasn’t been completely reasonable...” Erwin started, “But by no means am I willing to believe that they are doing anything illegal, at least not without proof.” He sounded humble, as if he were the same rank as everyone else.

“Commander, with all due respect, but I would rather they get investigated already! The leniency that we give them is far too much.” The crewman stated again, this time joined with the murmuring agreement of the people gathered around, eating and drinking after a long day’s exercise.

“Aye, but that leniency is only because we know Legacy has the capability of fighting back…” Erwin glanced at his tank, stealing a look, as if indicating for everyone else to notice. “Look, our best tank, we have approximately 7,409 of them active at the moment, nearly half of our current arsenal, and one of Legacy’s tanks can take that all out.” He looked back at the crewman and asked, “What do you think you would do when faced with such odds? Of course, I am speaking in hyperbole but it’s true… The attrition rate would be too high.” Erwin spoke as a tactician, trying to impart his knowledge to the crews of the Division.

The Division’s members looked at each other, not sure of what to make of the Major’s statements. “So, they don’t investigate because of the possibility of retaliation and the ramification of such a response?” One crewman asked, he was just a private.

“Bingo!” Erwin said, “No matter what you think, we’re not just expendable machines, we’re needed to keep the country safe, and if a large portion of us dies, we all lose.” Erwin’s expression turned sour, “We’re this country’s first and last line of defense. Hopefully we will never have to use our weapons to defend it. Make your lives count if we do.”

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

SWEDEN

Stockholm

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

“Field Marshal! What a surprise!” the voice of an old man echoed in the empty hall, Erikson turned to look at him, “Ah, General Brandon Dross! What a surprise indeed!” he replied, with an elate expression.

“What is the Field Marshal and secretary of defense doing back in an empty hall in Stockholm?” Brandon asked, talking as if Erikson was an old friend. The General was in charge of the Garrisons in Sweden, and Erikson used to serve under him.

“Visiting for the new year. I don’t like it in Berlin right now, this Legacy business gives me a bad feeling.” Brandon looked at Erikson, as if Erikson said something surprising, his mouth beginning to form a crescent smile.

“Here I was half expecting that you came back for me my old friend! Ahaha!” Brandon shouted, laughing as he went.

Erikson cracked a smile, “Let’s go to the current Garrison here in Stockholm, I’d rather be at work while I’m here.” He said. Heinrich Erikson was not the sort of man who went anywhere for holidays. He preferred to be at work, not the hassle of the holiday rush, he was however happy that he was back in Sweden, his place of birth.

When they got to the garrison, it was well equipped, properly maintained, and the soldiers well trained and properly dressed. “I see nothing has changed here since I was promoted.” The Marshal stated, “It’s almost as if I was here five years ago.” They walked through the grounds and talked about how the past five years went. The Garrison went about its daily business, just now finishing off the morning drills. They were now heading towards the mess hall for lunch, “The gate is about to open. Tune in on that soldier!” Brandon barked, one of the soldier in the Mess grabbed the remote and changed the channel to tune into the news in Berlin.

Those who paid in blood.

Modern world, In a unknown location

30 minutes before the incident.

"So, how are we sure that, they will only remain loyal to us?" A scientist calmly argues with another. "Because they aren't humans!" The other one angrily responses. "Despite they were?" the other quickly responds.

"HUMANS." He laughs catching the other off guard. "They were never humans in the first place." He tauntingly answers. "All I see now, are monsters that finally received their claws and hide." He continues, as he looks at the monitors of humanoid beings "Before, they were only monsters that forgot to dress the part." He adds smiling to see them in action.

“I present to you.” He cheerfully says, pointing to one of the monitors. “Our monsters.” He finishes as the monitor zooms in on a fight between two strange humanoid creatures in the background and eight of the new toys of the top brass of UN has. “As you have heard, the woman and the man are indeed the serial killers, Maria and Dave.” He calmly explains sounding like a tour guide, as he grabs a nearby orange microphone. “Showtime.” He whispers to the microphone.

Two of the highly advanced UN robots suppresses the humanoids that were taking cover in the small wall near the corner, while the other four UN robots circle around the couple, in an attempt to flank them. “We have been testing both of the products daily, and the two have been tied for the last decade now.” He continues to explain.

“Whoever wins now, will break their rivalry for good, with the winner advancing and the loser recycled.” He says, waiting after to see who wins the match. The fighting continues as iron crashes with iron and for now no clear victor in the mean time.

Inside the Gate.

“This isn’t right!?” One of the scientist says as his monitors turns red. “We have to stop.” He continues as fear starts to conquer his face, the others in the room received the same result as the other computers started to malfunction. “The gate is not responding.” He continues as the sudden realization has him and the others rushing to the door but, as they try to open it the door jams locking them inside.

“WE NEED TO CLOSE THE GATE.” One shouts out “IF WE CONTINUE, THEN WE COULD FACE A MASSIVE EXPLOSION THAT COULD ANNIHILATE THE CITY OF NEW YORK.” He desperately explains as soon he tries to break down the door and soon the door bulges but, instead of a hand, a frag grenade was thrown inside the room, panicking the group retreats to the computers.

Grenade blows up, instantly killing everyone in the room except for one but, the blast left him incapacitated and both of his arms, surviving only because one of his friends absorbing most of the damage that would have immediately shredded his vital organs from the blast. He lays there bleeding. Soon, He joins his comrades to the afterlife. “Package has been delivered.” Was the last words he heard before blacking out.

New York City.

Despite, not being broadcast by the media. Numerous protest against the gate has grew in number in the past few days. One of these protests, is happening right outside of the celebration, as a group of heavily armored guards working with legacy are currently guarding the entrance, where all of the celebration is taking place.

"NO TO THE GATE!" One of them screams out, as they start gathering right in front of the check point. "THE GATE WILL BRING RUIN TO THE WORLD!" Another screams out "WHAT ABOUT ALIEN COMMUNIST!" And alot more of anti-gate ridicule follows.

Soon, the crowd starts to throw rocks and started to charge into the row of riot class mercenaries that legacy employed just for the occasion. After a while of holding off the angry mob, a strange truck packs itself behind the riot police. The fighting intensified as the mob tries to force their way to the truck, but it was too late as the truck was able to finish setting up.

Soon, a large feeling of vibrations stuns the crowds, as dread and fear makes them scatter and after a few seconds, one of them drops and in a few minutes, all of them falls to the ground.

Fantasy World

30 minutes before the incident.

The bells toll as a horde of orcs approaches from the west. Acting as alerts in this world, soon barricades where erected in chokepoints in the nearby villages and towns. But, the inhabitants look at aww as they watch from the walls, observing the might of the green terror that they have long since feared.

The horde marches ignoring the villages and towns to get to quickly get to their destination, shaking the land. The green guardians they were once known and once the saviors of the mother itself. guardians of earth mother they will only unite when the mother itself is in danger.

After a while of walking the orcs, stop between two cities, plain’s rest and otem. Soon the orcs raise up several war tents and two giant totems gets erected, meaning that two clans owned the war band. Soon, orcs line up and started to cook, as the other clan’s wagons pack near the area. Soon a feast was set a sign that they were readying for war.

"Chieftain Tigrim." a orc respectably says, before bowing down. "Grand shaman orders, to attack once they have appeared." He relays the order. Tigrim nods in agreement before dismissing the messenger. "

High Kings palace.

A council was assembled by the high king with the increase number orc activity in high lands. The council was composed of 10 iron clad men and 30 gold armored official and 20 unarmored individuals, soon they started to talk, talking about plans to counter the overwhelming might and numbers of the guardians of their so-called mother.

The officials and members were clamed at first until a wounded soldier enters the room, an arrow pieced clean through his thick armor, a showcase of orc marksmanship. Panting and weak the soldier collapses showing a trail of blood. Realizing that the soldier wound was still fresh the group unsheathed their weapons while the other grabs the large shields in the walls.
“HIGH KING OF MAN.” an orcish voice yells out and the group forms up into a shield wall to protect their king as the aggressors have arrived in the council room. Heavily armed and dwarfing most of them everyone stands firm and readies for a battle, while the orcs looks at the sad display with pity.

“As a child of earth mother, I call upon you, to defend her.” He explains to them “I will not force you but, if your choice to not help then we shall all die.” He continues not swaying the group of men. “Gather your men and pray to your gods, they will not shelter you for long, for if we fail then all of us shall fall.” He finishes, before he leaves disappearing without a trace.

Counter Project Genesis
Phase 1: Salvation - INITIATION
At an artificial island 2000 miles NE from Honolulu

Area SALVATION-5

A young man sat in a red, cushioned chair. Staring at the blank screen in front of him, he sighed. Clapping his hands together, he said

"Open Legacy Public Broadcast Channel"

At that, the screen lit up and showed him a countdown with bird's eye views of several locations around the world in insets around it.

"30 minutes eh?"

The young man slammed his fist into the chair, frustrated and angry.

"They ruin my family's legacy, discredit it for what it's done and do this with the final product?"

He lifted his hand from the armrest and rubbed its thumb and index finger against his forehead,

"Asshats" he muttered.

Suddenly, a male voice came from the screen,

"Director, the head of the Exodus Espionage Team wants to speak to you. Shall I put him on the l-"

"Yes, I don't want to watch the Exodus countdown anyway"

The image onscreen changed to a golden S surrounded by a circle as a young female voice came from it.

"Arthur"

"Marian"

Arthur felt relieved of his anger upon hearing the voice of his colleague. She was the daughter of one of Birthright's Intelligence Chiefs and was quite close to him.

"I feel I should be calling you Director, shouldn't I?"

"Call me any way you want."

"Nothing weird yet," The young woman across the line said.

"There shouldn't be anything weird. I doubt even Legacy knows what's behind those gates they want to open so badly."

"Hold on a minute, I'm getting something." It was quiet for a while. In that time, Arthur was able to grab a glass of water and a small muffin from the nearby kitchen. He silently ate his small midnight snack, waiting for his comrade's response.

"Oh dear."

"Hmm?"

"Y-you know how we were able to turn some of the Exodus workers to us?"

"Yeah"

"I had them plant listening bugs in the facilities a few weeks ago..."

"Annnd?" Arthur said, now slightly disturbed.

"Crap, I am hearing right" Arthur was practically on the edge of his seat. Awaiting her response

"One of the listeners just passed me a recording from just a few minutes ago." She gulped. "Some scientists were killed earlier on-site at New York"

"What the hell are they doing?"

"No- no, that's not the worst part. They were talking abo- about, how the entire thing could and probably will - blow up"

Arthur gulped.

"I'm having all our important assets near Exodus sites relocated, where are you now?"

"At our Honolulu Headquarters"

"Stay there, Espionage units at Exodus sites are not to withdraw until 15 minutes before Exodus. Until then keep them watching"

"Yes sir"

He closed the channel with a swipe and opened a new channel with all the Operation Officers of Birthright.

"Gentlemen, we have little time to waste. I want all our assets, including Progress United's, near any Exodus sites relocated elsewhere for the time being. Also, I recommend we ready the Counter-Project. Heighten our security levels until further notice. I get the feeling this is gonna be a long night."

Toronto, Canada.

King George VII looked out across the vast roaring crowd below him, as he walked onto the podium. The mega screens behind him stopped broadcasting the Legacy Gate timer momentarily to focus on his smiling face as they usually did. They all waved their little Union Jacks when they saw him come on the screens. The Canadians loved him as much as the Londoners, it seemed. Well it might have something to do with all of his investments into their healthcare and science. They love progress in the colonies.

He waved harder, covering every direction as he moved up to his speaking place. Surely half of them felt like they had been personally waved to. He dramatically tapped the mic, and a sudden silence fell over the crowd. He stared paternally across the crowd for a moment as he was supposed to, and felt a familiar surge of love and responsibility. There was as much show as there was genuine feeling in his royal performances. It wasn’t like the strategy games he played on his tiny vacations.

“People of Canada”, he boomed elegantly across the crowd. “This is a truly historic day across our United Kingdom!”, he paused for cheers “Soon Legacy will connect our realm to another place. A place where we can establish humanity beyond our planet! All British peoples across the Empire will rejoice as we take to the stars together. The Legacy Gate in fair Toronto will open soon, but I suspect more of you are watching the massive construction in New York. I will stay with you, my people, and watch this evolution for humankind!”, more cheering as the TVs switched back to the countdown.

He moved to the rows of chairs that had been prepared for the royal entourage. His wife Catherine, Duchess of Edinburgh, was there waiting for him in the chair designated next to his. She had been a childhood friend of his, so the demanded leap to marriage with her didn’t too feel strange. They had grown to love each other in a way, and she was quite a beautiful Scott.

“You really do have a way with them”, she said playfully as he took his seat. “Is it as easy as it is to charm you?”

He smiled as he straightened in his chair like he was supposed to. “Basically. You’ll get to try yourself soon anyways. Don’t you have a line of beauty products coming out?”

She chuckled and he turned to look at the timer. 30 minutes ‘till god knows what happened. He put 100 men in that experimental power armor near the gate on the outskirts of the city, but he was uneasy. Would they stride forth onto some virgin pasture in another galaxy? Or would something terrible stride out to meet them?

London, England

In a secure conference room beneath all the palaces and attractions of London, Prime Minister Oliver Chambers was with other ranking government officials and parliamentarians. He was focused on the screens with only a few others, while most of the others enjoyed small talk of the holidays and brandy. The lead up to this Legacy Gate had lasted months and years, so the legacy gates actually opening was boring them. They were tired, as was he, from all the speeches, functions, and grand celebrations. But he was still anxious as ever that something could be going wrong with the project. As much as he spoke on it’s promise, as much he knew what it could promise, there was still something unsettling about it all. He adjusted his glasses and sipped the mug someone had handed him earlier. Tea? Tea. Minty as well.

One of the screens showed the King’s speech in Toronto. It was short and nearly drowned in cheers, but inspiring and energetic. Though unfortunately they’d have to have another talk on proper length. The young king was well practiced in commoner appeal, but his adherence to the finer points left something to be desired. Typical. He’d make sure to mention when he was back in London. They were closer than most liked in Parliament, but it was as much friendship as it was politics that bound them.

“Prime Minister?”

His momentary lapse of concentration ceased, as the courier had approached him. He sat up in his chair.

“Yes?”

“The Royal Society are on the line, and so is the agency in New York.”

He stiffened. Were his fears confirmed? He got up quickly and nearly stumbled after being seated for so long. He grabbed the telephone in the corner and opened the first call he could. Doctor Evans was panicky. Much higher energy readings than expected were coming through. He urged him to do everything possible in his power and to ready the future soldiers if need be. Then he picked up the call from New York. Apparently there was some kind of explosion inside the laboratory. Again, he urged them to do what they could. But he knew that was very little.

The only thing he could do was call the King. Even though the incidents were small, he knew something was amiss. He hadn't gotten this far without trusting his senses in potential crisis situations. He dialed the number, and after a few rings the Kings handler picked up.

He didn't shout when he finally connected, but he made sure to command. “The King needs to get to the bunker. I don’t care what he said to the crowd, somethings going on with the gates.”

The unknown storm

Moon base.

A man in a tuxedo reads about the failure of the destruction of the Russian made gate. He sighs, as he looks at the report of the surviving four members of the original fifty mercenaries he had hired. The Spetznaz and the GRU were present but, what caught his attention was the hidden surprise that the Russian had in store.

"They don't learn do they." He says chuckling a bit as the findings of the slaughtered men. "What would the world look like after all of this?" He questions to himself as he throws away the tablet "After I'm gone, this betrayal of international trust." He adds looking after the the planet, contemplating everything he has done now.

The moon base built by legacy, was man's greatest accomplishment and after today, it will stay that way for many years to come, Martin Goldberg one of the most accomplished scientist of legacy, though to himself as he looks down on earth from the window of his office with malice. after a minute and so, his partner violently opens the door, rushing inside with a stacks of documents in his hands.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS RANDOM." An angry white coat man yells out with disgust in his face. "WHAT ABOUT ALPHA CENTAURI, WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE PROMISES THAT YOU TOLD US." He continues to yell in anger as the auto-door shuts for good "They were lies of course, as a scientist you should have known." Martin coldly responds as he faces his friend.

"You lied to the world." The scientist quickly responds seemly caught off guard by Martins honestly. "That's were you're wrong Andrew." He answers with as much coldness, as before. "You see we lied to the world, you and I, the simple janitor scrubbing your toilet to those crazy council members, all of us, weather you want to believe or not, lied to everyone down there." He rebuts Andrew's words looking once more back to earth as he pulls out a gun.

He approaches the scared scientist. "What are the abnormal reading coming from all of the gates around the world, what did you do?" He questions, as he retreats bit by bit to the door. "I have no idea Andrew, they were never supposed to work in the first place." He answers the questions as Andrew tries to open the door but, fails to open it.

"Let me ask you a question then." He proposes as he hands the gun to Andrew "Do you hate me?" He sadly says, as he place the gun in His friends hand. "If so, shoot me." He says as he goes to his desk, turning on his eyes to the holographic computer on his desk, While his friend takes the time to go behind him, pointing the gun right behind his head. "Why?" He asks as he puts his fingers at the trigger.

"Because, everyone would forget the moon after." He said as he watches the timer goes down to zero and with it he pulls the trigger. The bullet went straight through martin head, killing him instantly. "Is the moon so important to you?" He questions at his dead friend knowing what his answer would be.

As the timer reaches zero, giant pillars of light surrounds all of the gates, not just in New York but, also around the world, only to be followed by an earth shattering blast from the facility that surrounds the gates.

The sudden explosion caught the cameraman off guard, causing him to slip and fall to the ground with a dangerous thud sound. The camera switches to the camera inside the news helicopter, showing the devastation outcome of the opening of the gate, as small shops have flip over their customers, crushing the foot of a nearby man while several have fallen, head first to the pavement.

After the chaotic opening, a small group of creatures comes from the gate. At first the surrounding people were baffled as they started taking pictures of the creatures, as they look around their new environment.

Then, one of the pioneers, approaches one of them, slowly extending his hand to earth's first visitors. This creatures were monstrous looking but, since it looked so frail and weak, the pioneer with his suit on, goes near the creature. "Hello there buddy, welcome to earth." The man welcomely says. He waits for the creature to touch his hand.

The creature extends its hands, making the cameras zoom into the scene. reporters have rushed in to report what they were seeing, "As you can see the gate is working clearly, and with it our neighbors from the other side has beaten us, in crossing between our world, could this be the start of a something new," She narrates her though on the scene. The cameras soon zooms into gate and its devastated surroundings.

Seeing the destruction of what once was the control center of the gate, is now engulfed by green flames soon, several firefighters rushes to the scene, as they try to rescue the remaining people trapped in it. But, as they do this, the creature and his buddies surrounds the pioneer and with shiv like weapon, they all started to stab the man to death which was obviously captured by camera for all to see.

Soon, waves of people starts to run away with fear as more of the tiny green men starts pouring out of the gate. The police in the area gets quickly overrun, getting the same fate as the pioneer suffered. Agile and merciless, these creatures killed anyone no matter who they were, Adults, Children, Female, Male, Rich or the poor, nobody wasn't spared.

Soon, reports from around the globe tells of attacks by different kinds of creature. Cities were burning, forts were under siege, and ships were sinking. The world as we know it was under siege, by an enemy we have welcomed to our world.

The air gets filled with dragon like creature shutting down our air space, soon the choppers used by the media gets knocked out of the air. Humanoid eagles captures our airports with the help of this reptilian beast. It was chaos in the streets, indoors, every where, nobody expected this to happen but, everyone would likely blame Legacy, Andrew though to himself as he watches the events unfold.

"What have we done." He says to himself as he watches everything with disbelief.

Fantasy World

half a minute before the gates open

The orc horde was ready, all of them await for their leader's command against the world eaters. War-chiefs as tradition would say must ride on war trolls to battle, watching over the army as they command in the front of the horde. Once the others have mounted their giant's all eyes was looking at the last one, the shaman.

The grand shaman, climbs on the top of a giant troll, and once on top he gazes upon his horde. The troll was covered in iron spikes on its side and 2 stories tall, it had a podium that a rider or a leader was meant to stand on. "MY BROTHER EARTH MOTHER CALLS UPON US, TO PROTECT HER ONCE MORE." He yells out as the orcs rejoices, clad in armor and equipped with weapons they stand ready.

"WE STAND HERE TODAY TO SAVE OUR EARTH MO....." He continues but before he could finished the ground violently shakes, The ground starts to crack open swallowing a large portion of Otem with it. The world was changes violently, the clouds turns black as it surges with electricity.

The shaman foretold that this would happen but, he still can't believed the damage, as the land starts to fall to the void and several pillars of lighting smashes to the ground, capable of incinerating a clan in a matter of seconds before dissipating into the ground.

In their eyes this was the work of the world eaters, as they watch hopelessly to natures wrath changes their world was having. For them it was the end of the world. This was evident on as the shaman trembles in fear as his greatest fears was happening right before him.

The goblins that lived underground for since they were created were emerging in waves rivaling even the horde's numbers as they rush to what looks like a newly formed portal.

"CHARGE." He screams out as the portal materializes right in front of his army and with a piercing yell that even rivals the surrounding pillars of lighting that surrounds the horde, they poured into the portal, just minutes before the goblins.

The giant bats and creatures the hordes employed retreats back to the wastelands as the lighting and the earthquakes frightens their mounts making them flee in terror leaving only the orcs and their raw power in the invasions.

Russian Federation, Siberia

The sight of the once formerly secret Project Gate facility was to say the least - heavily interesting, despite the giant hole in the middle of the snow. The remains of the facility which had been cracked open like an egg - oil and fuel spraying everywhere, that added to create a burning inferno inside the crater.

Namely, there wasn't just unlucky scientists still alive after that punch from the heavens - in fact there were numerous other creatures, that were trying to climb out of the burning hole. Unfortunately the newly arrived paratroopers didn't make it any easier. They were pouring in by the thousands, it wasn't enough that every shot that the troopers made hit something. Their accuracy was about 97% at this rate, since it was physically impossible to NOT hit something in the mountain of flesh. But there was just too many, not to mention the burning inferno started to slowly die - as the cold of the tundras started to rob the fire of it's heat.

And with the damaged pipeline before, the oil ran eventually out and so did the fuel for the fire. As the paratroopers soon pulled back, and the Invaders managed to climb up the snow. In reply, it gave the numerous BMD's to fire their main cannons now as well - the rew of a 30mm autocannon soon was unleashed. As it tore apart flesh from bone, thousands of shells used up in mere seconds.

In the air the old Mi-24 Hinds, used by the Central Military District, were proving their weight in gold - as they were shredding apart any of the strange creatures that tried to match them in the sky or air. Compared to Western heli's - the Mi-24 Hinds were a tough nut to crack. Designed to resist a shot from a .50cal MG - the attempts of the birds to try and break through was almost laughable. More than not, the only reason a couple of Mi-24s crashed down was due to visibility issues than actual damage.

Sadly the luck of the Russians couldn't last for long, as the ammunition was running low fast - as some of the men had used up all of their available and even reserve ammo. Having resorted to even using their sidearms - while the ammo for the mechanized units and helicopters were running out as well. As the orders was soon given, under heavy static - the Hinds in the air soon unleashed their barrage of rockets at the black crater.

...it would be the defining moment, that would change the state of the Russian people forever - as the dozens of missiles streaked towards their target and impacted inside of the crater. Sadly, that also caused to crack the shells of the buried nuclear reactors. It was horrifying sight to see - as the men on the ground, started to drop like flies - having been fine just a few moments ago. The radiation from the reactors having been so heavy - not to mention, the portal ripping open didn't help in any way.

The only reason the Mi-24s were still in the air, was due to the fact they were built to resist NBC warfare and had been built in such a way to protect the crew against such an attack. It didn't take the pilots long to check their imagers - not to mention the old rad-gear hanging from seats, had their old geiger-readers going ballistic. As the explosion from the missiles had mixed the dust with the heavy radiation and now was spreading it all over the Siberian tundra. With nothing else, the surviving Mi-24s soon turned their helicopters away and started flying back to base. Trying to contact base about what had happened. In the coming months, the fallout from the radiation would melt the snow and permafrost - in time, the methane would also get free. Turning the Siberian tundra - the likely only barrier against the Invaders into open flatland straight into the heart of their Motherland.

Poland, Warsaw

In the Capital, everything was under lockdown. Army units had been set to Tier Red - an all but preparation for total warfare. The Civil Guards had been alerted and told to gather their members and prepare for combat as well. All civilians were advised to stay in-doors and to remain calm.

Operation Fissure had been enacted - namely the joint-plan made by AESR in the likely event of a Russian invasion. It had been tweaked for a different purpose - namely against alien invaders from another world. As in the Council Room - the nine heads-of-state watched on various screens that were showing things all across the world.

Man had done it...they had smashed the wall to a new world - and it had replied in kind, with a language humans were all familiar with: war. The situation seemed to devolve rather rapidly - as the many military advisors in the room started to inform a drop in communication. Something was starting to choke the global network - something that wasn't likely related to the billions of people trying to contact their loved ones. It wasn't an overload, rather a drop-load - they were slowing losing connection to the global satellite network.

Then to hammer in the nail on the foolishness of the human race - the military attache for the Hungarian President shouted up. As he soon brought up a laptop - of a region in Russia. It was reading a very heavy spike in radiation in the area - many went pale at that sight. Did the Russians honestly use nuclear weapons against these creatures?

"...get me a phone...hotline to the German PM immediately!" commanded the Latvian delegate - the current 'head' of the AESR Council.

USEA

Noted: Taken from the note of Sergeant Nguyen Ngoc during the first hour of the event Hell Uproar. He died during on the second days against the invaders. This note was found in his note by his family.

"The pain was all I can feel during that moment. As the ancient clock at the top of the building strikes the bell twelve times, a deafening sound appear. It was larger than what I’ve ever heard. And appear from nowhere, was a black portal in those sci-fi movies. It was darkness, unclear, and seem to be unreal. And the whole place became silence, as every person focuses on the mysterious object, waiting for something to happen.

Our comrades hold tight on the triggers, feeling this obnoxious silence as the ticking sound of the clock behind us started to shift into 12:01. This was supposed to be an amazing moment, I thought, filled with cheer, congratulation, and blessing for the next promising years. But it seems that I was wrong. As the clock tick to 12:03, tension begins to spread across the citizens. At first, there were some started to move back from the crowd. And then hundreds started to follow them. And then thousands. The first few begin to run from the crowd, pushing everyone just so they could be faster. And others learned to do the same. Within a few seconds, there was a stampede of people running for their lives. Running from something that was not even there. I could see people getting stepped on by others, screaming and crying due for the weight of thousand people crushing each and every part of their bodies. And as the first scream begin, the people started to rush faster. They did everything they could to avoid dying. They pushed and flow as a flood. But the flood itself parted when met the mountain, us. I did not join them, as well as my comrades. But I knew what they ran from, fear of the worst possible outcome. As each person passed me, I could saw the fear in their eyes. It was wild and basic. Seeing such things also feared me, making me want to them, becoming part of the flood. But my duty holds me back, ordered me to stand firm and hold my ground. Instincts from years of training telling me to put my fingers on the trigger. And doing so gives me the courage to stand firm against the flood and whatever comes next. The flood did not continue for long. As 12:05, there were no signs of any civilians presented with the 0,5 km2. It seems that for whatever the reason, they just decide to leave and returned to the only place they considered as safe, home. I could imagine them hunkering down in their houses, texting on their phones about what was just happening. Some will pull other with them out of a bar and say something stupid. And some will simply take a rest. It will just be a simple day tomorrow, for me and for them. The sun with its blazing heat will rise on this tropical land. The farmers will tend their crops. The students will come to school. And everything will become normal, with the exception of this mysterious dark gate present, of course. But the day will turn to night. And the cycle continues until I die. At least, that was what I thought it should be.

Suddenly, I started to hear screams from the other sides. The ground begins to shake, predicting of something heavy coming to us. So we started to form into groups, preparing for whatever going to come next. I could feel the sweat flowing down from my eyebrow then coming into my eyes. It stung me a little bit. So I used my uniform to dry my forehead from letting the sweat to come into my eyes. And then we saw them, beings with a strange plant-like. They were as small as a nine-year-old kid, sharply pointed ear, sharp teeth. Followed them were larger beings, with green skin, more muscular. They were yelling something that we could not understand. And we shot. The blood of invaders painted the ground under them. Yet they still advanced, stepping on their comrade bodies. And they push, inch by inch toward our place.

Until I heard a sound of something similar. The sound of engines roaring above the sky. Its noise was larger than normal. The sound of something heavy falling down from the skies cut through the battlefield, forcing both sides to look up. For us, it was something familiar, bombs. But it was too late to hide, so we stood there and watch the bombs raining down on us and the enemy. It was so fast that I could only the flame, debris, and smoke coming out of the crater. Some of the bombs hit directly at the gate location, blowing everything that attempts to cross over. Cracks appear on it, like shatter mirror then collapse, disappear, like it never happened. If it was not the corpse of those strange being, then I thought this was only a dream.

Around us, buildings flattened by our firepower. The battlefield was filled with crackling flame, human and invaders corpses. Suddenly, I heard something from the debris. So I ran there and found a reptilian human. He had lost both of his legs, scales being painted with red and green bloods, and three fingers on his right hand.

The Prime Minister voice had been shaken as he heard the message of over, multiple places our being under siege by the same gate. Every city had requested for military aid. The problem is even larger with cities on the islands. Slowly, with his shaking hand, the Prime Minister talked to his secretary:
“I want to begin the process of redirect all materials into the mainland, send the remaining force we have to distressed cities. I want all possible and functional ships to aid in transporting our citizens outside the sea to the mainland. Tell them, the evacuation will be in major cities.”
The Prime Minister paused before continued.
“And I want every resource and suitable person to join the Project Orion. Also, established a secure line to Eastern Europe Coalition, the Russian, the AESR, and the Royal of Britain as well.”
The Prime Minister dismissed his secretary before looking down to the battlefield in front of him, fill with corpses of his people and the invaders. Standing from here, he could heard the pain of the soldier injured during the battle. And it make him felt guilty, for his incompetence.
“I will do anything, to lead our nation ."

Counter Project Genesis
Phase 1: Salvation – INITIATION

At the New York Gate…
Near EXODUS Gate 1, 10 minutes before Project Launch

Progress United, being the global super-company that it was, had HQs in all the major cities of the world. From Manila to London, there were huge blue skyscrapers gracefully reaching up to the heavens. New York was no exception in fact, with the exception of their Honolulu HQ, it was the tallest and largest of their properties. Or at least, those publicly recognized as properties of Progress United. It was 121 floors of greatness, displaying their corporation’s pride and power to the people of North America.

Yet beneath those hundred and twenty-one floors, beneath even the numerous parking spaces of the building was a sprawling complex which was by now near-deserted. The only men that remained of the ten thousand workers in this massive building were a hundred men patrolling the lower floors. All of them were dressed in black cloaks with wide-brimmed black hats and masks which filtered out all gas. 3 of them stood in front of a massive screen in the center of the sprawling concrete basement.

“So, recap: Our task here is to remain until 10 minutes post-Exodus. We will maintain the communications systems throughout the city from our building for as long as we’re here and we’ll broadcast everything we can capture with our drones to the rest of the world.”

“And if whatever they’re hiding get down here?” Another asked.

“We fight”

“Until those 10 minutes are up?” Their third companion asked.

“Until our job is done. Don’t forget, we need to seal this place up so the other locations can’t be reached.”

“And when we’re done?”

“If we finish, we proceed down the tubes to our San Francisco HQ where we rendezvous with the other security groups from Toronto and Houston, then we seal off the whole network there and leave for Honolulu. That, all in all will take us about 6 hours. 12, maybe considering possible delays in the tubes and the evac.”

The two men crossed one of their arms across their chest and bowed.

“Understood” and with that, they left.

Soon, it was a minute before midnight. He stood there, looking at the map and waited. A red blip appeared somewhere in Russia but he paid it no mind.

Then, every EXODUS site on the planet lit up. Red blips appeared at every gate.

“It’s begun.” Suddenly, alarms went off all around the building. One of his comrades ran up to him,

“Sir, something is attacking the surface. What do we do?”

“Seal this place shut. It’s not our duty right now to clean this mess up. It’s Legacy’s problem now.”

Area SALVATION, Midnight, New Year’s Eve

“So it’s begun…” Arthur said as he sat back and watched the carnage unfold on the screen before him. He clenched his fist as he muttered,

“Legacy…”

“Sir, there are aerial and waterborne enemies appearing from the gate.” A voice from an opened channel said.

Crap, it’s too early, he thought. He hesitated for a few seconds while he gathered his thoughts.

“I guess we have no choice. Activate the SALVATION System.”

“Yes sir!”

Then, a window appeared onscreen.

It read, ‘Birthright Administrative Council - Channel Request force-accepted’ in bright red letters.

“Director, are you sure this has to be done?”

“There’s no other way” Arthur slowly shook his head.

“So, all defensive measures then?”

“Yes, recall all our troops and have them brought here.”

“As you say.”

Sirens began to blare around the island the complex sat on. Slowly, the ground beneath began to rise.

That night, the somewhat calm waters of the Pacific were heavily disturbed as columns of water were displaced by a single, massive stone wall reinforced with sheets of metal armor. A ring of walls 250 kilometers in radius and 250 meters above sea level with the island at its center suddenly rose from the deep. Then, another ring of walls, 125 meters high also rose from the depths with a radius of 500 kilometers.

Every 5 kilometers along the inner walls, a turret mounted with guns stood manned by two people along with 8 main citadels equally spaced from each other. At the center stood what used to be an island, then a 750-meter-high tower.

However, despite these formidable defenses, the fortress was severely understaffed. Though its food supplied could possibly last them decades, the five thousand men garrisoned there at that moment and even with the seven and a half thousand more expected to arrive from Honolulu, they were still lacking the manpower to be able to man all the defenses properly.

BERLIN

The president of the Germanic Republic stood a good six feet away from the gate. He stared into the light it emitted and watched as the figures became more defined, and he realized what was coming. Goblins and Avians started to pour from the gate, the President in his fright, ran into the crowed. The Crowed pushed and shoved away from the gate as people were chased down and killed; the president in the crowed was pushed to the ground and trampled violently, he was crushed under the feet of his own citizens.

The Future Soldier program in Berlin had Taskforce Viperstrike on stand-by at the time, and they immediately moved to protect the citizens of the Germanic republic, shouting into their radios, “The President is dead! I repeat, Wolfs-head is dead!” they heard crackles on the radios as they hastily make their way outside their test facility. The first hostiles they saw they immediately engaged, their multitudes of weapons shredding anything that came near them, the Garrison also moved in to try and secure the area, with the commanding officer shouting “Activate the Sierra protocols one through eight! Decentralize the Germanic military, we’ve been invaded!” Mikkel looked on in disbelief, the scientists also made their way to the evacuation site, grenades and machine gun fire basically held them at the gate for a short while until someone in the meager defense force shouted, “Retreat!”

The engaged military force basically made their way out of Berlin, evacuating all they could. Radio reports continued to pour in, one stated that Russia had just activated its nuclear arsenal and used it against its invaders. “Fuck me sideways… This is getting out of hand” Mikkel scoffed to himself, they were getting overrun, fortunately, the Berlin defense force was only part of the whole Garrison, which at that very moment, was mobilizing to set up defenses outside Berlin’s perimeter in order to facilitate the evacuation of Germanic citizens and prepare for the subsequent artillery bombardment of the city.

AUSTRIA

The 5th Wiking Panzer Division got the nationwide broadcast of the commander from Berlin, “Activate the Sierra protocols one through eight! Decentralize Germanic military, we’ve been invaded” Johan couldn’t believe it, he hadn’t heard about the Sierra protocols since he was a child studying the history of the cold war.

“All units, we’re heading east towards the cities, we need to secure our factories, call ahead and do it fast! We don’t know how much time we have until comms go down! Make it count!”

The camp around them started to buzz as people took down tents, did inventory, and packed up all within an hour, they quickly head towards the city of Vienna and the various military Garrisons that existed in the Austrian region. Johan quickly picked up the radio and relayed the message to each and every one of the garrisons, they’re getting conflicting reports from all over the world about attacks from the gate. Johan whispered to himself “This is going to be a shit storm…” looked at the world map and marked out where each gate is located, he also took note of each of the production facilities and resource nodes in Austria.

The tanks would need fuel, the stockpile in each garrison should last them a year if used sparingly, their munitions cache would be sustainable as long as there were resources to produce them. He reckoned that the Scandinavian region would have the same odds. The supply lines could still connect if they could keep the rest of the Republic Isolated and secure, with that in mind, he was certain there was hope. Scandinavia wouldn’t fall so easily, the blood of Vikings runs deep in that area, a finely tuned, finely trained army awaits any oppressor to try and invade Scandinavia.

SWEDEN

Before the nationwide broadcast, the Field Marshal and the subsequent General prepared for the Sierra protocol. The entire Scandinavian sector went into full mobilization, all hands on deck. “Prepare for retaliatory strike, Mk.III Hypersonic missiles locked on Berlin. Give me a line towards the closest nations! I’m assuming command of the Scandinavian Garrisons!” The Marshal shouted. Radios crackling, aircraft buzzing, ships sailing, hundreds upon thousands of non-essential personnel being evacuated. By this time, the borders of the Germanic Republic have collapsed with the creatures coming from all sides. “Every nation that has been overrun, there’s not much we can do, secure our borders!” he shouted into the many radios infront of him. A cacophony of loud bangs went off, artillery was already beginning to show off, the rumbling ground indicating tanks were on the field, the buzzing of helicopters and wooshing of jets overhead.

“Sir! Mobilization of the Scandinavian garrison complete!” a private reported as he entered the command building, “several cities on the coasts have fallen to what they describe to be merfolk! Finland is holding its ground but it can’t hold for long! Berlin and Austria are starting to go dark! Sierra protocol has been declared!” he continued, “Sir, Orders!?” Heinrich and the General both looked unsurprised when the Sierra protocol was enacted, it seemed Russia thought of something the same, now AESR was trying to contact the German PM, he was declared deceased just an hour before.

“Have all of our forces dig in on these locations!” he pointed to the map, on it were highlighted locations of strategic importance, such as factories, oil rigs, steel mills, mines, and more. The private nodded and grabbed the map, “Sir, I’m on it sir!” he said, his face exasperated, “This is Sweden HQ calling Copanhagen and Oslo HQ, relaying locations of import!” he shouted. Meanwhile the Brandon and Erikson poured over the Austrian and German locations of strategic locations, however the Sierra protocol already dictated what each of the regions should do in case of an invasion. “God help us all…” Erikson glanced at Brandon as he heard the remark, “Let us hope that God exists then” he commented. Erikson, looked at the Wiking divisions location under the command of Johan Erwin, he relayed a message to him stating that he was in command of the Austrian region.

If Germany was to fall, Scandinavia and Austria would attempt a pincer maneuver and reclaim the country and take it back if at all possible. The long-range missile armament was still active, designating coordinates beforehand and warning every major country within a thousand kilometer radius to keep their heads down. “Missile launches being coordinated with other countries, Finland is ready to launch when we're ready! Contacting England, Russia, Italy, and the AESR for coordinated strikes!” the ensign shouted, humanity fights back.

In Sweden, Heinrich and Brandon were relaying orders left and right within the command tent. The entire garrison was mobilized for a good fight, the missile stations were ready, all Heinrich needed to do was get some calls through to the AESR and Britain.

"Get those calls through!" Heinrich barked, ordering the comms officer to get a clear comms channel. Brandon kept track of the spread of the attacks, reports comming in all over, from Italy, Egypt, and all the way across asia. "This is a fucking mess..." grunted the old man, Brandon couldn't believe the scale of it, it was like the second world war all over again.

It took some time, as there was much chaos around - but eventually his com-officer managed to get into contact with the current leader of AESR. Likely, cause they didn't bother of making a Gate in the first place and weren't stuck in such a situation.

Soon enough, the figure of a blond woman, in a gray suit appeared on their screen - with the numerous other members of AESR in the background. "This is President Anna Bērziņš. What is going on here? What is this madness unleashed?" she called, her German being heavily accented but understandable.

The Comms officer shot up and said, "Sir, line's yours!" and in a moment, the seats shifted, and a man in formal military dress filled his place. "This the Germanic Republic's Secretary of Defense, Army Field marshal, and current Commander-in-Chief, Heinrich Erikson speaking..." His words carried heavy responsibility, so many titles, as was the governing system in the Republic. "Not to dawdle any longer madam president, but the Germanic Republic has suffered the loss of our city; every inch of land around the Germanic Republic is being consumed by creatures that have come from the ga-..." He paused for a moment as his ensign whispers in his ear.

"Forgive the interuption, but we're getting reports that the Vatican has fallen and the rest of Italy's leadership with it. The situation is dire madam President, we are asking for aid in these times." His expression was grim, every minute that passes is a hundred people killed; he couldn't help but feel betrayed by Legacy, especially when they promised progress.

"Yes...we can see it happening from our screens," replied Anna, as they had a direct connection with everything happening around Europe, America, Asia and so-on. Except that they were the only ones, amongst some other small nations whom didn't invest in the miracle progress solution.

"What are you asking from us?" she asked - keeping it civil for the time being. Despite the fact, that most of AESR had been butting heads with the Germans ever since they regained their sovereignty in 1999. It was kind of ironic now - as those whom had been forgotten in a War long ago - had the same people begging at their doorstep now.

"Our armed forces are being mobilized...not to mention we need to fortify our border with the Russian Federation - I assume you know of the nuclear detonation in Siberia," she added - indicating that whatever help they could offer might not be...much. Although, she didn't mention about the Missile Defense Network. Namely, beside the Americans, Israelis and Russians - the missile technology of AESR was fourth in the world. Intelligence reports stating that AESR likely had enough missiles to level two hundred cities on either side if it wanted.

Heinrich nodded silently, considering the AESR's position. He let out sigh, "The nuclear detonation in Siberia surprised us. Siberia is a remote location, desolate, a dessert of ice and snow." He paused, looking at the gate locations, "There are no plausible reasons for them to have nuked that location. Unless, there is something we're missing. But I digress, The Germanic Republic is trying to get Britain on the line, we're trying to coordinate hypersonic missile strikes on every state that has fallen in the last few hours."

Heinrich gestured Brandon to move aside so that the map was in plain veiw. "I'm sure you're already aware, but the following countries that have fallen are Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands. Britain is currently holding, but the London gate is becoming problematic, as is the Berlin gate." Another soldier came into the tent, "Sir! 5th Wiking reporting their situation in Austria! They're getting some trouble from the South!"

Brandon immediately ordered, "Tell them to retreat towards the Alpen territory, they won't make it towards the east, relay the order for the garrisons in the east of Austria to start fortifying their locations and tell them to prepare for a long war!" Heinrich looked back at the screen, "It seems Austria is now in the firing line, Switzerland might hold for a while longer, but they won't hold indefinitely." He marked the locations on the map while a Comms officer rattled off the coordinates. "We don't have much time" his face portraying stress, indicating that time was of the essence.

"If your worried about refugees going for our borders - you don't have to worry about that. Our border guards have been mobilized," she replied. Or namely, they were simply told to prepare for arrivals. Compared to the rest of the 'Western civilized Europe' - the nations of AESR had directly refused to accept any refugees during the Arab Spring that happened in 2015. That affected Tunisia, Egypt and Libya. They had gone so far, as to construct actual barbed wire fences - reminiscent of Cold War times.

If there was anything to measure AESR with - it was militant isolationism and non-interventionism. Beyond trade, what else happened in the outside world didn't concern AESR at all. Even condemnation from the UN and threats of sanctions didn't shake them.

"So I ask again - what are you calling us for?" she asked - namely curious, since the current Secretary of Defense hadn't stated WHAT he wanted from AESR in particular.

"We are asking for missile support, particularly in these areas." He pointed to the map again, "I had hoped that was obvious enough for you when I mentioned that we were coordinating missile strikes, but I digress. Will you aid us, or will you stand neutral in the face of a threat that doesn't discriminate what you represent?" He stepped forward and sat back down, he was familiar with the general apathy that AESR treats refugees, which wasn't his primary concern in the first place.

"I present to you a choice, help us slow down the threat, or watch us die trying and then deal with what even we couldn't stop." up to that point no one had shown combat footage against the invaders, even in dire times people still kept secrets. "I am sharing a video feed from the front lines as of the moment." The video feed of course showed the combat involved, one of the most heavily armed militaries in the world defending the borders of their country. "A mob of thousands, a wave of green, these creatures are swarming in every direction, if you think this problem will go away, it will not. At this very moment, I have forgotten about nationality. This is an attack on the whole of humanity madam President, will you help us stand together, or will you watch us fall together." He expanded on the choice further, his tone harsh, but understandably so.

"The same line was used by us sixty years ago....and in the same notion we were rejected and our world almost came close to annihilation," she replied in kind. Back when AESR had been simply fresh young democracies that had escaped the yoke of the Russian and German Empire.

Back when the many young nations almost begged aid - before they were sold out to the Soviets and their people deported to Siberia in the thousands. No AESR country had remained unaffected - several times they had attempted rebellion and freedom, only to be crushed under the Soviet Iron boot - while the West just watched. Only when the USSR went bankrupt did the various Satellite states manage to get free on their own accord.

Not to mention, how they allowed the Soviets access to the nuclear option - and continue oppressions against their people. It was a natural reaction from President Anna as well - when the worst came out, people first looked to their own and then others. Despite the tone she used - she had more notion than most. Leave it to AESR that the one think they had plenty beside outside dislike was pragmatism.

"Your asking us, to turn our Missile Defense Network onto targets in the West? You do realize, that likely the Russian side might have a Gate of their own. While else would they unleash such a literal and evident explosion happen," she added. "We'd be defenseless then..."

"I likely would be asking too much from a German - that they'd aid us, against any Hordes from the East, since I know how humans usually operate-" she stated. Namely they own first, and others maybe. "-ugh....give us targets. If we do this, can you prevent any monsters from overwhelming our Western Borders?"

Or namely, that the Germans wouldn't let any of these creatures overwhelm and spill over onto the AESR' western border.

The Marshal had a simple answer, but he would be lying if he stated that answer, and this was no time for lies. "We can hold them, and if any spill through, assume that all of us have died." he felt the need to say a few more words, but all he could say was "Thank you." imediately assuming that she was saying yes.

The Germanic people have long known of the suffering of the people from AESR, the countries within it have been subject to two world wars, and have been occupied at some points by two battling nations. In world war one, the Germans fought against them and the West and lost, in world war two they fought with them against the Communist disease, but failed to stop them achieving nuclear power. Germany and the Republic have failed the AESR more than once, it was time they did it right. They would all die fighting, and if they do, the world will either live on to remember them, or forget them as the world falls.

President Anna, soon contacted the Missile Defense Network Control Command - as she soon got a reply in Polish. As she replied in kind, and soon authorized the activation of their Deterrence Order. Soon enough, she had a special guard bring forward a laptop, that only one allowed connection.

She soon typed several coordinates in, and then swiped the keycard - from then, she looked behind her. As the others behind her nodded in reply - before she pushed one button. Namely that was the order to the numerous units all across the many countries. As Missile Bridgades, Silo Commanders and Island Defense Bunkers got confirmation and targets for the launch of their missile stockpile.

From the Marshal' perspective he could soon see the scene unfold. As namely his entire screen of their Eastern border was filled up with about a thousand red dots. He likely now knew - why the West didn't like to poke much at AESR. Since this volley alone had enough to sink every American vessel in service.

BERLIN

Berlin Garrison, 2 miles outside the city

"This is General Alexander, to all forces inside, AESR have launched missiles, we're getting aid!" Mary Alexander, female General incharge of the German region's garrisons. She was recieving orders from Sweden direct from the Secretary of Defense himelf.

Missile strikes incoming, five minutes to impact! Evacuate all you can, keep a mile distance!

The Germanic defense line was doing its very best to hold, but the fact was, they weren't fully mobilized, they were still getting every tank crewman, every paratrooper, every able bodied soldier to man their stations. Men from the navy used to call this all hands on deck, the missile strikes will buy them some time to mobilize.

The artillery crew were the first to witness the rockets comming through their binocs. "Fast movers incoming towards the city!" they watched as it screamed closer to its target.

They could see about several hundred missiles, all within several intervals - albeit, with the speed they were going they likely seemed to be going at the same speed or faster than that. As they missiles soon as they approached the city started to slowly climb up and up and up. One might fear and think, that the missiles might have malfunctioned or worse - gone after the satellite network above their country.

That was soon undone - when the crew could hear a loud bang or rather dozens of them. As the missiles soon screamed down into the city. Several dozen of them exploded against the streets below or over the city. Strangely enough they didn't seem to do much, except release an orange gas cloud.

Did AESR use chemical missiles then? Likely a UN violation, but that would likely be overlooked in such a situation like this. Except, it wasn't a chemical gas - as a dozen other missiles soon also dive-bombed into the city...and ignited the highly flammable gas.

The release of heat was instantenous, the heat almost felt a mile away. Like being near an oven - at least they could take comfort, that it was quick for anybody remaining in the city. As the fireball consumed everything in its path, setting many creatures in the streets on fire. For a human it would have been a quick death, for the Invaders it was a painful experience in dying - as it felt like their flesh was melting off their skin.

That lasted for about thirty seconds before the last fifteen missiles arrived - these a bit more slower and heavier then the last ones. As they streaked up and smashed down - this one was more...flashy. As suddenly with their detonation the flames, that had set almost all of Berlin on fire was exstinguished and then...there was bright flash. As the air was sucked away and the roar of a dying lion was heard for miles - as the thermobaric explosion purified anything and everything living within the heartland of Germany.

Alexander and the artillery crew stood in awe, she was so much in awe that she almost forgot to report back to the Secretary of Defense. She glanced down at the radio and grabbed it, "Direct hit! Maximum effect achieved sir!" she shouted, but she couldn't help but think of the many people that were still in their capital. Viperstrike and the defense force made it out somewhat intact, there were a few cassualties on the security forces.

Overall they managed to evacuate at least a third of the population. Alexander - the garrison did all they could, but there was no time to mourn the dead, they still had a war to fight.

AUSTRIA

The 5th Wiking was redirected towards the south after hearing reports of hard pressed units fighting off another wave from Italy, they had positioned themselves in a thick treeline on a hill top and along the defense line. Their canons firing as they went, "USE H.E. I SAID!" the gunner shouted, "MORE CONTACTS COMMING IN!" the commander called out, "TO THE EAST 231 by -30!" he barked, the turret rotated and fired, a large explosion caused green bodies to burst into several different peices.

A tank called out on the radio, "We have more incoming! We're running out of machinegun ammo!" Johan sat there, calling out orders as he immediately commanded, "Panzergrenadier units two and three, assist B company! Units Five, Six, and Seven, retreat from the bunker quadrant, you're going to be overrun!"

Johan looked at the situation, there was no way they were going to hold, they were getting reinforcements like a trickle, they had no time to mobilize, they might even have to lose Austria. Suddenly a crackle on the radio,

Attention, Hypersonic missiles incoming near the defense line, evacuate to a safer distance and hold for the fireworks, over!

Johan was relieved, he thought support would never come, but he never expected it to be a missile. A light growl in the wind afar signaled the presence of the missiles.

"All units fall back from the defense line! Incoming missiles!" Johan popped out of the hatch and watched it fly towards and over him screaming as it went.

The missiles flew as expected, before switching to their hypersonic speeds and detonating above the armies of the greenskins and avians. Nothing seemed to happen, as the missiles didn't even seem to make a very large explosion - although, a whistling was heard in the air. Like when one heard the whistle of a bullet pass-by over one' head.

This was slower, and something else. As suddenly, the greenskins were suddenly ripped apart in a tide of blood, as their entire ranks were suddenly ripped apart in a mangle of flesh and blood. Like the Angel of Death had come down and slashed his blade down at the inhuman creatures.

Instead it was the detonation of millions of flechettes and iron spikes inside the missile canisters - as a shower of metal was rained down upon the creatures. As the tiny projectiles tore apart skin and muscle from bone. In some cases, Johan could see a creature being reduced to a simple mist - so strong had been the force and acceleration of so many tiny projectiles.

These missiles were very precise - in such a fact, that they barely came close to their hold-out. Although, many soldiers could see how deadly this attack was - as trees were suddenly ripped apart by an unseen force. Several dozen of these missiles rained down - showering more and more metal rain around their battleground.

Many avians were simply ripped apart in the sky - as beside metal, a rain of bodies followed. Then after three minutes - it was over, the horde that had seemed to almost overwhelm them had simply...dropped dead. Their bodies punctured and shattered - the few survivors slowly dying off.

"WOO!" Johan shouted in joy, "TAKE THAT SHITHEADS!" the entire division and the neighboring garrisons were saved, Johan looked through his binocs and saw the greenskins and avians torn apart. At that moment the entire battlefield looked as if it had been through world war one. He picked up the radio, "Alright, let's use this little respite of relief, get those MG's set up, Gepards, I want them on vantage points, artillery, I want them in place! Let's go! We only have moments before the next attack!"

Johan then looked towards the horizon where the missiles came from and pulled up a compass. "Now I know who to thank for saving my men, we'll repay this debt."

SWEDEN

Heinrich recieves reports of all the confirmed missile strikes, he's sent some hypersonic seismic missiles of Germany's own helping out the Western front of the invasion. "Switzerland is confirming hits on mark sir!" Heinrich crosses out the Swiss on the map.

"All missiles confirming hit and reporting success, I thank you again Madam president, we've been spared a worse fate, at least for now. As long as we're able to do so, we will hold the line. We wish you luck against the East, if there is anything more we can do, ask of it." Heinrich spoke frankly, he was thankful, the Republic will have enough time to mobilize its entire military force. There were going to be more defenders against this foreign threat.

President Anna kept her face stoic - as expected of an ex-Communist state leader. They kept their emotions behind an iron mask and only showed their true emotions to trusted friends. She nevertheless cracked a small smile. "Hope this was helpful...keep your eyes also on the East. There is no telling what will be coming from beyond Siberia," she replied.

With that notion, she cut communications and their line was severed. Although, this act likely saved millions and tens of millions in the near future.

South San Francisco Training Base Sparta
Ten minutes before breach

"You will do Push ups till your heart explodes!" As always the drill instructors always had to discipline the new recruits. While the majority of the men and women that made up the company were veterans from all branches of the US military, they still had to go through boot camp. These training companies, with their hodgepodge mix of veteran and civilian all had to pass through one of three training camps. Camp Sparta was the largest and only one in California. Supporting its half dozen California raid reaction force bases dotting the state. It was music to will's ears as he stood looking out his window. William Johnson was the CEO of Spartan security Solutions, and former United states Marine.
As CEO William had a weekly meeting with the heads of every department. He quickly looked reports as he sipped coffee.

On the flight field second lieutenant Carmen Diaz makes a final flight check on her UH-60 Black Hawk, she and the crew were preparing for the introduction of new prospective helicopter aviators. As she worked she could help but look over and see a group of Spartans jogging along a near by road. At their head was second lieutenant Jonathan Smith. Since their recall to the US many of the Spartans found themselves almost bored, with only PT and base duties to keep them sane. Though they felt bored many were glad to be back, since most had been deployed in various different conflicts across the world.

War

America, New york.

As the hordes of the once unlimited armies of the horde gets decimated, as they force themselves to ram the humans. Soon, the mighty armies was a shadow of their formal self, as exhaustion, trauma, and death, begins to take its toil.

The shaman led its troops to invade america, smashing the unprepared humans in New York. While his warchiefs Adula, Amon, Ranta, Renta, and Fatta led the charge on the others. The shaman was winning but, soon what appeared as iron dragons and salamanders blocked them from taking the city.

The police force and armed civilians of the city, were trying to their best to hold out, until the military arrives. Now it was 6 hours since the start of the initial fighting started. Using tanks, cars, buildings, and virtually as cover, as they try to save as much civilians as possible. "Sir, we lost the subway." One of them shouts out as he fires his pistol at the upcoming orc hordes. "Retreat back to the police station!" The police chief yells out as he blasts away at the approaching horde with his shotgun.

Hundreds of the events similar of the same events unfold but, they have only three results, as the ones that gets captured were dragged back to the gate, while those that tried to fight back gets ripped to shreds by the greenies or the lucky ones escapes back to the military.

The shaman with his giant war troll rampages throughout the city. Crushing the iron salamander in his way paving the way to his victory. "GET THEIR WEAPONS AND TAKE THOSE WHO SURRENDERED BACK TO OUR WORLD, WE MUST KNOW HOW TO SAVE OUR WORLD!" He orders as his men grabbed the iron staffs of their dead enemies, retreating back to their world, bringing modern guns and people to their world.

@o0V0o

The greenies rammed their way into your building, ransacking and pillaging all that they deem valuable. Soon, goblins with their like of cramped and dark enclosures, takeing up space in shelves and every hole that they find. making some of them accidentally falling into one of your tubes.

In the waters tubes

From the tubes underwater (if see thru) you can see massive beast dragging down hundreds of ships to a watery grave and with them, thousands of people trying to get up only to be impaled or strike down by humanoid fishes. though the trip was peaceful, one of the ships falls down to one of the extensions of the tubes.

Honolulu

The pacific was besieged by this creatures emerging from the oceans attacking any human settlement in sight. soon, Hawaii was gone and its cities fall and now a bastion and fortress for the invaders and their citizens at the mercy of the savages.

China, Bejing.

If the situation was bad enough in america, China is having it worse, as their army were too far away from their cities and their tight and crowded cities made it impossible to successfully defend their locations let alone mount a defense. Soon, the police and militia forces couldn't hold from the invaders letting them take the city, as they retreated to the other cities.

With the fall of Bejing at the hands of the monsters, numerous organized waves soon emerged from the city. hitting and raiding nearby cities and settlement. allowing them to get guns and weaponry from us.

@Scarescrow

Because, of the foothold the orcs and several of their ships were able to depart and with them millions of heavily armored orcs makes their way to the Philippines, Japan, Taiwan and Australia. And with the support of the Naga a safe journey.

The Naga have begun to invade your nations as they start emerging from the oceans, giant snake-like humanoid engages with the UN presence in the location.

"Get me a line with the USEA, I want to know whats going on" Silvius yells as giant rocks gets hauled into the walls of his fortress. "Sir, unit 3-5 was eliminated." One of his soldiers reported, as he fires from the walls. "The last thing they reported, was that the Naga has the ability to breath a poisonous gas from their mouths." He reports as the siege goes on.

Russia, Siberia.

As the blast almost killed off the entirety of the horde something else happened. Because, of the Radiation numerous orcs developed a chitanous plating that envelops their body, allowing some protections against the bullets that their opponents were using, the mutations didn't just affected them physically but, mentally as the orcs started to go into a berserk like rage, charging into the enemy.

Some of the Avians changed like the greenies. As their fangs grew in size and adopting a more aggressive stance, they dived into the helis that were previously ripping them to sheds. and without remorse, they eagerly try to tear the helicopters to shreds.

@Liotrent@NecroKnight

Now without much obstacles in their way, they start making their way into northern Mongolia and into Moscow. ripping their way forward. as the Avians kamikazes their way into aircraft, and the orcs crashes their way into the enemy. Because, as of now the humans have created a new race, a race they now call the mindless.

Germany, Berlin.

Berlin

The burning of the Berlin dealt a massive blow towards, both the humans and the greenies. As the greenies with their giant war trolls burns and melts from the flames. One of the War chiefs of the orcs witnessed first hand the cruelty of man. As just under his loyal war troll, he watches as his companions literally melt right in front of him as they shield him from flames.

Soon, the fire subsided. Soon, the charred bones of his men and his enemy lays in front of him. and as the flames were gone, numerous more orcs entered the Berlin just to see the carnage and death that just happened Berlin was theirs but, for a costly price.

The lone orc that survived, vowed at that time that he will have his revenge.

Austria

The elimination of the horde in the field made the orcs switch to a more loose formation and have retreated back to the cities to regroup and rebuild their forces. there would be no attack for some time.

Britain, london.

@Wampower

The hordes of monsters started to conquer the city, as they bulldoze into the buildings as giant elephant enters and rampages into the Big Ben bringing it down in one go. The first monument casualty of the war. Soon, orcs follows as they started killing and kidnapping people.

Some of them ransacked local shops, looting, and burning everywhere they go. Soon, a large fire emerges as the siege equipment on the siege beast starts firing.

Egypt, South America, and South Africa.

Egypt

The Egyptians have lost their major cities in the few hours that they had as the orcs had brought siege worms to war and with the sand the worms bulldozed any enemies that they encountered. and soon their control would be absolute, until intervention was issued.

And soon the greenies establishment a stronghold just right beside the suez canal, lauching numerous fleets to where the other gates are located. Following the allure of the pillars of light that rises to the skies above.

South America

South America has collapse but, not because of the invaders but the UN forces station their. It seems like multiply UN officials have turned into bandit. which have currently sacked the city of Brazil leaving them vulnerable to the monsters after.

South Africa

The monsters that invaded Africa was meant with unorganized forces led by warlords and militia commanders. Now locked in melee with the invaders they desperately send multiple broadcast to other nations calling for help.

The orcs have settled in the ruined city of Berlin erecting a few totems, they would not have the luxury of hauling slaves, loot, and their dead back to their world. They have stopped securing the gate for now. they are currently at the process of erecting fortifications. The goblins but, a few have survived under enclosed spaces underground.

They have been trimmed but, in time their numbers will grow.

"OPEN THE GATES!" one of the orc generals furiously yelled out to the dwarven hold. "THERE IS NO STORM IN THIS WORLD, THAT WOULD MAKE ME OPEN THIS HERE GATE." He replied with the small toned and furiosity as the orc had. "SO IF I WERE YOU, I'LL GET BACK TO FROM WHERE YOU CAME, YOU BIG EYED, SMALL BRAIN, ABOMINATION OF A MAN." The dwarf continues.

"I'LL MAKE YOU PAY MINI-MAN." He replies as the orcs charges into the walls of the mountain hold. "DID HE JUST CALL ME MINI, CAPTAIN GIVE HIM WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE THAT CALL ME MINI!" He commands furious as he grabs his axe, the dwarf captain rushes down and after a few moments, all the cannons fires firing at the orcs elimination a good portion of the orcs but, it was still not enough as the orcs soon, gets to the walls and the giant war trolls begins to force open the gates.

"Oh no you don't." The dwarf commander jumps down to one of the trolls head. "You showed yourself mini." The orc commanded said as he meets the dwarf. armed with renowned orcish armor and infamous orcish swords. The two clash into combat.

As the two armies were reduced into a deadly melee a pillar of lighting erupted just behind the orchish horde making it way between the mountain hold. Vaporizing all it touches leaving only ash in its wake. Soon, the armies accepted their fate as they threw their weapons away as they wait for it to consume them.

And consume it did, the horde, the hold, the dwarfs all but, a handful survived. hostilities were cease as what was once centuries old enemies help one another to escape. Soon, the survivors that used the dwarven rail ways arrived at high mountain. 5 dwarfs with 3 orc rest inside the mine cart, most of them were severely burned.

"We must help the orcs." One of the dwarfs weakly says before blacking out. "The world eaters must be stopped." Another continues but, sadly before the medics were able to reach them only two survived an orc and a dwarf. The dwarfs that were in the scene rushed to the throne room of the high king, only to find him looking out of the balcony of his throne room.

"Ready for war." He calmly says, looking at the apocalypse happening just outside his mountain. "The dwarfs shall help the orcs." He continues as his men rushes to execute his order. "Today, our world shall see change, these invaders will change us and in turn we will change them, for the better or the worse. The fate of our two world's will not be decided by those, part of it rather, the actions of the victor." He said to himself as more cities disappears from sight.

As the catastrophic storms forcefully cleaves its paths into the world, numerous cities have already been turned to ash. Every race was impacted, humans, orcs, dwarfs, fairies, constructs and even the tribes of elfs were razed to the ground.

Soon, armies from all of the races marches to the gates, all under the banner of their world, they all commonly call as Titania. They march to try to put an end to this madness to an end.

Soon, multiple Legacy led soldiers storm room wherethe other members of the UN and the delegates of the numerous nations. killing them while they sleep. Before they could figure out what was happening. Soon, firefights and explosions rocked the facility.

"Legacy didn't know this would happened." one of them yells out as he fires at the UN soldiers, guarding essential UN figures untrained he sprays it to the halls suggesting that he was a scientist. and soon, the drones that once served the UN have fires upon their masters. out-manned and out gunned the UN and the other nations retreated to one section of the base, cutting them off from 80% of the base and its consoles.

Up in the bridge of the base, a Gary tempers with the controls "this is not my fault but, the media won't understand they never do, I just need to cut communications." He said as the monitors displays the satellites that encircle the world and with the press of a button, all long range communications between nations shutdown.

"Yes we can fix this, we just need time, and we can save the world." He told himself as he turns on the defense systems of the base. "Yes, this is the fault of the UN, those people weaponize the gates they bought those creatures here to our world." He told himself denying the fact that all of it was the fault of legacy.

"We would be heroes, no even gods as we cleanse those monsters from our world." He speaks as he starts getting lost in though and soon after he becomes mad with guilt as he tells himself that it wasn't his fault.

Soren was relaxing in his bed when a pair of men in white labcoats burst through his door, Doctor MacAllan and Doctor Eyre.
"Sir, we've intercepted the gate commands, they're opening to some place called 'Titania', and it's inhabited!"
Soren sat up quickly and shouted,
"General Adviser Ortega! Issue Order 141 immediately!"
The General Adviser entered the room with a frightened expression,
"Are you sure, Commandant?"
A terse nod from Soren confirmed his fears.
"Very well sir, may god help us all."
General Ortega rushed to the war room, shoving past a few secretaries in the hallway. He stopped behind the comms officer and sighed,
"Raise all of the Corps Commanders."
A few minutes went by and then five screens blinked to life with high ranking soldiers standing in them.
"First Army Corps standing by."
"Second Army Corps standing by."
"Third Air Corps standing by."
"Fourth Marine Corps standing by.
"Fifth Naval Corps standing by."

"The Commandant has issued Order 141. This is not a drill."
All of the Corps commanders visibly paled in response and hesitated for a moment before saluting and their screens went blank.
"Scan all bands for distress signals."
Ortega turned towards the hologram of the Earth that floats above the table in the center of the room when suddenly it was nearly entirely covered with red dots indicating devices transmitting distress signals. He gasped and knew at that moment that Order 141 was the only option.

Meanwhile in New Washington...

The gate opened with a bright green flash and monsters poured out. The soldiers guarding the gate from the civilians turned to see hulking Greenies towering over them. The first few seconds were completely silent as everyone looked each other over, then the Greenies charged forward with terrifying war cries. The soldiers were no stranger to warfare but these were foes like no other. Gunfire erupted through their ranks, Greenies dropping left and right with parts of them missing. A soldier with a large radio pack on was taking cover behind the APC they had arrived in as his compatriots manned it's crew served 20mm cannon and .50 cal machine guns.

"The gate is open, Command! Monsters are everywhere, we need reinforcements right fu-"
The man's transmission was cut off as an axe embedded itself in his skull.
The soldiers were running out of ammo as the Greenies kept coming and coming. Soldiers were falling left and right, victims of arrows or axes and the little goblins sprinting past them occasionally would jump on civilians and soldiers in groups of three or four and tear the poor soul apart. The rest of the horde stormed past the soldiers as they started to pile back inside their APC to escape the swarm of murderous beasts outside. Once the last of them were inside they stomped on the gas and tore through the streets until they encountered their brethren setting up fortifications around the city. The sergeant asked around and found out the city was being surrounded and that Order 141 had been enacted. They joined the defense as civilians streamed out of the city around them. After about an hour the streams stopped and all that could be heard is the echoing screams of people trapped inside with those things. A rumble in the air set everyone on edge until a wing of A-10 Warthogs few overhead, tearing the city apart with their 20mm rotary cannons. C-130 cargo planes flew over low and slow, dropping pallets of unknown objects into the city. The sergeant, Sgt. Oryn, was pulled down behind cover by another soldier. He was about to ask why when a massive explosion answered his question. More explosions followed and the ground shook beneath him. His ears were ringing and he couldn't hear the planes fly overhead but he could feel the ground vibrating as the A-10s strafed anything that moved in the city, their massive miniguns tearing Greenies in half with a single round. The strafing runs were concentrated around the gate, destroying obstacles and enemies. Suddenly a massive missile flew overhead, flying over the ruined city on a direct intercept course with the gate. At this moment the Greenies decided to make a push, throwing themselves desperately at the soldiers surrounding the city in an effort to escape the death from above but making little progress. Oryn waited for the explosion of the fusion warhead to claim him, but it never came. Little did he know the explosion had claimed plenty.

Russian Federation, Ural Federal District. Yekaterinburg

The streets in Yekaterinburg were running red with blood, as the Russian military, from the Southern and Western Military District having come to reinforce the city and its strategic importance in the Russian state. Namely 90% of its oil and natural gas was from this district as was almost half of its income and industry.

Failure at Yekaterinburg would mean in essence the Russian state - as it would cut off Russia from its source of oil and natural gas, as well as half of industrial capacity. While aid from Ukraine and Belarus would be deployed, it was still days and weeks away - as the Presidents were currently embroiled in some heavy infighting on how they should be deployed and lead under whom.

That was barely taking into account, the radiation cloud that was spreading to the Western cities and forcing many people to flee West - further straining the situation with their old allies Ukraine and Belarus. Worse was the situation was the fact, that communication was becoming harder and harder - namely contact with the Far Eastern Federal District and Siberian Federal District had been lost. Namely twenty-five million souls had been assumed lost.

Poland, Warsaw

Suffice to say, many members in the AESR community were worried - after the situation with Germany things were slowly developing. And not for the best - as the news and situation that was coming from the East was growing worse. Namely, there were already reports that the Invaders had mutated into something worse.

As well was the situation with the sudden influx of refugees near the Baltic province - as many people were fleeing either the radiation cloud or the sight of the alien invaders. Military personnel had already been stationed at the borders - but against the mass of people, it was only a small branch against the breaking dam.

AESR was mobilizing no doubt was about that - only that, communication was starting to get worse. So bad was it, that AESR had been forced to switch over to land-lines. It was nothing new, as they had expected several years ago - or rather prepared for the inevitable war with Russia and thus had hardened their lines of communication. It was better than going around blind - as that seemed to be the case, as satellite systems seemed to be failing to respond. Not to mention the fact, of how contact with the UN Project: Moon Base had been severed. President Anna hated to think of the idea of Legacy' sabotage - but she was finding more evidence that Legacy was likely responsible.

She soon checked over the numbers on her datapad - five million soldiers at the ready and more being trained. Against a horde of likely a hundred millions, at this moment she was honestly wishing the Russians had invaded instead. At least you could reason with a Russian instead of these...green-skinned freaks.
