Short Bio: Judith Lee was born to ordinary parents, had an ordinary life, had above-average, but still ordinary grades. She hated it. She hated the expectations she nevertheless had as an only child, including the expectation that she would have to get married someday in order to find true happiness and security. Judith wanted a career, an independent existence, to be free from
the world created by social constructs and mores. At the same time, however, she was selfish; she
can care for others, but much less than she did herself. So, once she finished college, and her parents were setting up meetings with men her age who had an ''upstanding' reputation, Judith decided to run away and join the CIA in the early years of the War on Terror. And she has never looked back since; it was her path in life.
She rose quickly up the ranks as a skilled field agent, finding that she liked killing people, not because she relished their pain and death, but rather because she felt like it was a job well-done. However, she acquired a revulsion to torture and kidnapping, not because of any moral qualms but because it was pyschologically corrosive to the torturer, which may be her. At the same time, she also acquired a sense of empathy as time grew on, first towards her teammates, then towards civilians in general. Do not get her wrong, she can still drop that at any time, but it gave her something to center herself around other than self-interest. Then again, nurturing empathy for the good effects it had on her psyche might be taken as self-interest. Who knows?
Then, the Malakim Records came to her, the specific tome took on the form of a Red Book, a Red Book that showed her the secrets of Time and Space. And her life was never the same.
She reported this to her superiors, who instead of turning on her, instead asked her to reaffirm her loyalty to the United States and its institutions; they would need her help if this phenomenon continued. Without hesitation, she did; pledging renewed loyalty to her country, its institutions, and its ideals. Even then, however, her future would not have been secure had not President Beatrice Steele taken a direct hand in America's new 'Mage Policy'. Mages were an asset, people who are capable of as much good as harm. More importantly, the source of Magical powers, the Malakim Records, must be sought after. A secret project is also to be made to create copies of said Records using Group Spells; this was successful as well, and now the US Government, as the rest of the world is becoming more anarchic, has the ability to increase the numbers of Magi...
Spell List: Judith has all six of her Spells as Timespace, so she can have stronger spells than other Magi with more spread-out Schools. Spells are listed from Weakest to Strongest.
Sense Ripple - Judith can see distortions in space caused by portals, teleportation, or attempts to twist fate to one's interests.
Timespace Encryption - Judith can encrypt electronic messages sent via her cellphone or other communications equipment to prevent people from tapping it (World Magic can do this as well, but with different methods).
Contracts of Fate - Judith can strengthen her own oaths with the power of destiny, increasing her luck and fortune when pursuing her oath. However, going against her oath results in the reverse; accidents will befall her more often, her equipment would break down, and her enemies would have an easier time finding her. Judith can also grant the benefits (and drawbacks) of this spell to people who have verbally agreed to having their promises bolstered in such a way. Yes, this is exploitable.
Homura's Pocket - Judith can store a number of items in a dimensional pocket as large as a small house. These items include weapons, food, technology, and even other magical items. Perishable items like food stay good for as long as they are in the dimensional pocket, due to the different flow of time there.
Prescience - Judith can, when she locks herself in complete darkness, see visions of the past, present, and future.
Gate of Gates - Judith can open a portal that connects two places on the same planet at once. This portal can be either the size of herself, or the size of a plaza, or anything in-between. The limits are that she can only open it on a place she knows by sight, whether through pictures or personal experience. That, and the gate can only be in Earth's gravity well, as gravity, at planet-size levels, distorts the fabric of space-time. And yes, changing the scenery of the destination to so that it no longer matches with Judith's memories prevents the portal from forming.
The portal lasts from one second to 24 hours.
