Axle was a bit embarrassed when Rei told everybody how he's basically a slime which he guessed it was close enough. He sat down at the table and started to look excited as a plate was set in front of him for some steamy pancakes onto his plate. Then the kid's soft voice, who was sitting next to him, started speaking to him. He was a kid who didn't really look scary like some of the others and plus he was just a kid. "Hi I'm Axle and yeah your friend Alex is a little scary." He said this in a soft voice.@Chronos Hybrid

He wanted to take a bite out of the pancake soon to be in front of him and his eye's started to dazzle as he was thinking chewing the pancake. To finally eat something different than oatmeal was a huge upgrade for him especially in taste. There are many different dishes he hasn't try before in his life and couldn't wait to try them out. Axle remembered that Violetta made the pancakes herself which must have been hard since there looks to be quite a bit of people here.

Axle observed all the different individuals at the table who he will be getting along with from now on. As he continued imagining his pancakes happily, he saw how some were going outside getting fresh air. He started dreaming that maybe one day he will be able to control his power enough so he can go hang out outside too. But staying in the cool air conditioned building is better for him to stay, more control of his body is needed.

Jasper looked around confused from where the voice came from, then he noticed the kid hovering in the air and nodded to answer the question.

"Shouldn't you be in the kitchen with the kids of your age being noisy and so? Don't take this as me sending you away, you can sit here if you want, just telling you that we two don't talk much, you may find it boring." Jasper took another breath of his cigarette and tried to find a better position to lean against the tree.

Urs leaned against the tree. It sang to her, a low, lulling melody. Coarsing through the music, almost in tune, came Jasper's voice. To be outside. Urs had lived outside for ten years. People were terrible, they were forgetful and hateful. Urs shivered as she thought about helping them. She didn't mind helping others that were like her and Jasper, but she didn't want to help anyone that would later turn against them.

Hugging her knees, Urs back was crouched over them. The grass swayed in time with the music as the bark of the tree smoothed itself, creating a depression for her to sit in. It was comfortable and nice. Then, like a jackhammer, ruining the melody, another voice sounded. With a bit of a snarl, Urs responded to the boy.

"Yes, but I'm new here, only been here for about a month." Finished talking, Urs shifted in her seat, leaning against Jasper once again in a somewhat protective manner. The grasses that were swaying just moments before had hardened, like tiny spears, all of which were pointed at the newcomer. While the boy that was floating wouldn't notice them, Jasper most definitely would. Urs wasn't going to hurt the guy, but he had broken her silence, which was crime enough in her eyes.

Alex snorted when he heard Axle say that he was mean. "Well I did not know you were scared of fire. I have full control of it and it will not hurt you." He said as he drank some milk and kept eating. Everyone always thought the worst about him even when he was trying to do the right thing. You could almost call it his version of bad luck that always seemed to follow him.

"And 'sleep' would be kind of giving it too much credit. It was more like 'stare at the ceiling for six hours, fall asleep for one, then be woken up by having your room invaded by a haunted munchkin. Standard really. Don't really sleep well."

Hel was evidently listening in, but didn't seem especially upset or apologetic about being referred to in such a way by Rei. If anything she seemed rather pleased at the acknowledgement, kicking her feet around idly beneath the table as her feet nowhere near touched the ground.

As the food arrived, Rei went to the effort of pushing herself up on her elbows, taking a pancake in one hand, and taking a bite out of the edge of it. She wasn't terribly hungry, but she also didn't really want any questions that might come from turning it down. It was aroun that point that Rei caught the look of discomfort from the new guy in regards to her revealing his ability. @XrazieVice

"Well there was no point dancing around it. You do make slime. My power's grosser than yours and I'm not scared of talking about it. My name's Rei and I can grow bone spikes out my shoulders or synthesise tentacles or put eyes on my hands like the freakin' pale man. I'm like the lego of physical traits cept with way more traumatizing bone crunch sounds." she shrugged her shoulders and twisted butter knife around in the centre of a pancake.

Hel, meanwhile, was sitting with her head leaned on one hand, using the other to push the food around her plate with a fork. Since her arrival the girl had taken very little interest in food, and the morning was no exception.

Ginty shrugs and sits near them on a different side of the tree so they could have a desent amount of space between them and stares at them throigh the coroners of his eyes trying to figure out what made them special, "I hate that place for the exact reason why you said I should go. I prefer the silence it's less nerve racking. Trust me I've been here my whole life," He says with a blank face as he sat with them, "I'm Ginty by the way." He then curls up hugging his nears as he watched the grass blades dance and as the sound of birds and the wind blowing through the trees acted like a melody for them to dance to in unison.

No one talked to her. Most of them talked around her. There seemed to be alot happening at once. It was a little overwhelming. But Katherin supposed that she would have to get used to it. Not that she minded. She liked the chaos. She just wanted to be included in it. She supposed that would take time. She was hungry but too focused on trying to figure out her new home to focus on her food.

The housekeeper rang the bell again calling those outside in. It was time to move on to power development. She loved and hated this class. She wished Jasper had stayed inside. She needed him. But despite his offer to help he needed space. She didn't mind that he stayed. There was plenty of room. But she wished he would do more. "Those of you who have finished may head downstairs for power development. If you don't know where it is please ask or follow one of the others.
I will be done as soon as I can."

silently shadow made his way up to the front door of the orphanage thinking 'Can't believe how bad this day has went. Not only did I wake up two hours late, I got the address wrong! Can my day get any worse?'. He was not in his suit as he wanted to be but in his cloak, were his nerves are on edge his powers are acting up. Not only has his hair has tripled in length because of his but is arms and hands have transformed into the black claws.

With his duffle bag in tow he knocked on the door with more force than intended resulting in the sound echoing inside the house. He winced slightly but soon returned his expression back to neutral.

Has the bell rung Jasper got up and said "Power development is about to start, don't be late" as he started walking to the kitchen. When he reached there some kids had already gone to the class, the housekeeper was still there he approached her and asked "Do you need any help before class? Is there anyone that needs to be taken there?" while looking around to see who was still there.

Myra gave the pancakes a big sniff, smiling in satisfaction before cutting into them. She sat there, having her breakfast as other individuals around the table conversed. A couple of the more outspoken ones seemed to have their attention on a nervous boy who apparently 'made slime', according to a worn-out, nonchalant-looking teenage girl who then proceeded to give everyone else present a detailed description of her own abilities. Did everybody at the table have some sort of... gift? Myra assumed that she would find out what they all did eventually.

Mrs. Claus then instructed everyone to move downstairs for 'power development' as breakfast was finishing. Myra turned to Jazzy with a curious look.

"Hmm? What's 'power development' all about?" She asked the child, who seemed to know about everything that went on in the place.

A tattooed teenage boy then walked in and mentioned helping to take anyone to what she assumed was their next destination. For the time being, Myra decided that she would go along with the group who was heading downstairs to see what exactly they were talking about.

She looked over when Myra asked her about power development. "It's a class where we get to work on keeping a handle on our special abilities by being able to practice with them in a safe place." She said as she got up from the table grabbing a apple before walking with everyone else. "Come with me. I can show you!" She said laughing and jumping up and down excitedly. Her tail was swaying rather quickly with her excitement.

Alex looked over at the new girl that had not said anything since she got there. He was worried if he said anything he would just scare her just like everyone else it seemed that day. He was actually a nice guy...just very misunderstood due to his ability. He figured it would not hurt. He stood up and walked over to her. "If you'd like I can show you the way." He said smiling. "My name is Alex." He said trying to be as polite as possible even though it was rather tough for him. Hes used to be sarcastic and joking but everyone seemed to take it the wrong way.

"You can get the door and then make sure that no one gets lost or distracted while I start cleaning up. Once everyone you can start the intros. I won't be long." Mrs. Claus told Jasper. She was glad he was back. She needed his help to make sure that no one got lost or left behind. Going from one event to the other was chaotic at best. There were enough new arrivals that it would could cause problems. The last thing she needed was problems today.

Katherin tilted her head as someone approached her. A boy she decided from the sound of the voice. She gave him a smile. He sounded about her age but it was hard to tell. She held out her hand in the general direction of his energy. "I was beginning to fear I had gone invisible. My name is Katherin. I could use Some help if you don't mind." She was a easy going girl. Living in the streets most of her life had taught her to be adaptable.

Alex smiled as she responded to him with out seeming scared. "No just early morning, everyone can be in a weird mood. Don't hold it against them." He said laughing. He looked up to see everyone had already left or were on their way out the door. "I can show you the right way to get there." He said started to head towards the hallway door. "This place is easier to navigate then it looks." He said as he waited for her to catch up.

Katherin frowned when the boy walked away. But shrugged. She carefully stood up. She unfolded her walking stick. She hasn't been using it because both the housekeeper and the benefactor had guided her and she hadn't felt like she needed it. She didn't like having to depend on the others. She had been mostly independent her whole life. She wouldn't allow that to change. Using her walking stick she slowly made her way over to the boy. Luckily the room was mostly empty so she didn't have to worry about bumping into someone. "This place feels bigger than I'm used to."

As everyone had already left and Jasper saw that Alex would guide the blind girl to class he went downstairs. In his way he tried to inform anyone who was lost were the class was.

When he reached downstairs he heard someone knocking at the door, see that the housekeeper was still busy in the kitchen he went to open the door. "Probably someone new arriving" he thought. When he opened the door he saw a white haired boy, probably same age as Jasper, he looked good, Jasper smiled. "My name's Jasper, coming for classes here?"

Alex was shocked when he noticed her walking stick. Wow...nice you could have helped her out a bit more you jerk...He though to himself as he noticed she did not have that many problems getting around. He could tell she had to be on her own for a while to gain skills like that. "If you want after our classes today I could show you around to help you gain your bearings if you'd want?" He asked as he started to head towards the stairs. "Its just down the stairs here." He said to warn her in the not offensively but cautiously.

Ginty watched as his possible new friends just get up and walk away so he does the same but in a different direction since he has already pretty much mastered the power of self levitation. He saw no need to go to Power strengthening classes anymore and flew back to his room. He touched down on the oddly tiled floor and tried to open the door only to find that it's locked. He sighs and pulls out a Bobby pin. he stares at the Bobby pin then at the door knob thinking of all the lock picking scenes in them before trying to lock pick the door himself.

Rei slid off from her spot on the table to make her way down to the class, making little effort to see if Hel was following.She had other things on her mind. Power development. Powers. She didn't really need a more developed power. Less developed power would be good. Less insomnia. Less looking half-dead. Less...

Rei sighed. No point in wishing for things you couldn't have. Least here she might be able to get some education. Take it for what it was worth. Least she might get the comparative fun of freaking some people out.

Hel meanwhile, slipped off her chair, leaving the breakfast all but untouched, and made an effort to follow the group. Her shoes were still untied. It didn't seem to worry her a whole lot. She was sufficiently short that keeping up with older residents was more than a little difficult, and it was necessary for the younger to near enough jog in order to keep pace. She was rather out of breath by the time of her arrival at the class.
