"I think that will do for today. Tomorrow we will continue if we need to. Otherwise we will work on control." The housekeeper stated as she stood up. Not everyone has gone. She understood why the new arrivals hesitated they were used to hiding their powers but those who had been here awhile should be comfortable. The fact that they weren't told her they had work to do. "Please follow me. We will head upstairs. Next is school subjects. I have a classroom set up on the first floor. But today we will be going to the music room."

Denis O'Brien

At first, Denis had been skeptical about the orphanage for 'supernatural' kids. He didn't believe that such a place would exist. But, much to his surprise, it did. He heard a few people in his old orphanage talk about it and how it was meant to be a home for supernatural children and decided that if it did exist, it would be a better place for him to stay.
Coming across the yard, Denis looked around at the outside appearance. It definitely looked better then the last one. Hell, it looked like it would've belonged to someone famous or rich. Christ, how long did it take to do all this? He wondered, impressed. Coming up to the door, Denis looked around before knocking. How many people are here? What if there's nobody here and it's all just a lie? He wondered curiously.

Spiridon nodded and ran upstairs. But it he was finding it hard not to sprint up, so he stopped and closed his eyes, and shut them hard thinking of one thing, the house....

His body shimmered, as if he was just an illusion, and when he opened his eyes, he was in the house, in his room to be exact. His face lit up as he actually did it! He could teleport!

He left his room and went into one of the lounges, finding a Rubix cube he was working on, and started on it.

Alex

Alex smiled as the housekeeper said that that was all for that class. He looked over at Katherine. "If you'd like I can show you the way to the next classroom?" He asked hoping his ability didn't scare her off. He knew that him being able to control fire scared people because they figured he must be a bad person, but that was far from the actual case. He always knew that fateful night would always haunt him to this day...its the only reason he was never adopted as well.

Jazzy

"Oh yay! We are in the music room today!" She said excitedly. "Come with me Myra and I will show you the way. Its just right up here." She said smiling and holding out her hand for her friend to take it. She was curious to learn what her special ability had. She was always wanting to learn all about different abilities because hers...well, wasn't the most spectacular but it did make her special. It was the only mindset she was able to live by in that house because she had a feeling...that she may never leave the mansion.

The music room? That sounded like a fun lesson. Myra was glad that her first class at the orphanage was not something boring, like Math, or History. A nice, relaxing class like Music would be a good way to ease her into the curriculum. Jazzy, as always, was excited. Myra wondered how well the little girl got along with the rest of the residents. Mrs. Clause had announced that she would be leading everybody up to their destination, but Jazzy had requested that Myra stay with her. Still amused at the fox-girl's enthusiasm, she stood up and took her hand before they proceeded upstairs.

Ms. Claus lead the children upsstairs. She was almost to the top of the stairs when she heard a knock on the door. She sighed. Sometimes the orphanage was quiet. Sometimes it wasn't. It looked today was a busy day. She paused at the door. She opened the door and nodded to the boy on the porch. "Come in. You're late. We are on our way to music class. Please follow me." She told him as she turned and headed to the music room. "If any of you know how to play an instrument please go stand by it. If you want to learn to play an instrument stand in the middle. If you don't congradulations you are a singer. Please stand by the door."

shadow walked towards the center seriously not wanting to have to sing. while standing there he looked around at the instruments aroud the room. His eyes stopped at the grand piano.

Shadow would've loved to learn how to play that, but he didn't know if the caretaker would let them choose what to play. Yet again he was fiddling with his tie trying to straighten it as he set done his cloak next to him.

Donovan was one to never be seen in public spaces, as he didn't like them. That is why the orphanage was such a place for him.
Away from any onlookers and, the most important one, away from any Secret Service looking men. Looking at the hair-raising, spine-chilling building, Donovan simply pushed down any emotions that might make him seem scared, as he simply walked forth, entering the orphanage through the front door as another Boy followed strangely behind him. Upon entry, the first thing he'd notice would be the sweet, calming sound of music, thus, he'd follow it, ending up in the Music Room as he was one of the last few to arrive there. Given, he'd also be confused. Were these also people part of the group? Who knew. One thing was for sure though, he was about to find out.

-----------------

"So this is that Orphanage..." Was his first reaction upon stopping on the front part of the building. It wasn't really all that, at least, from what he could see. He was able to catch a glimpse of the other boy entering, but that was it. Taking two deep breaths, Luka would enter the Cage, unbeknownst to him what awaited. All he had to say, was that the Orphanage was nothing as to what he expected it to be. The interior was nothing but opulent, a big change from your run of the mill orphanage. To put it simply, he was lost in the appearance of the building. Bag over his left shoulder, he decided to explore further into the Orphanage, wandering around in search of god knows what.

Katherin followed the crowd. She tried to be the last one up the stairs. The place was very busy but the lady in charge seemed to know what she was doing. The stairs were alot easier going up than they had been going one. She was curious about the music room. She knew she could never play an instrument. Which mean she would be in the chores. She wondered who else would be. She hoped that atleast one other person would be. She wasn't sure how good her voice was. She hadn't done much singing in her life.

The music room was large and echoey. Katherin could tell it had great acoustics. But the vibrations made it hard for her to determine where everyone was. She hated to depend on anyone. She didn't want to be a burden. She stood uncertain how to determine where the middle of the room might be.

A knock on the front door was heard just as Mrs. Clause led the group past it, and she stopped to answer it, welcoming another tattooed teenage boy whom she requested for to join the group. Upon reaching the music room, everyone present was given a choice to either sing or play an instrument. Having had no professional vocal training, Myra wondered how one 'trained their singing', though, she was more interested in learning how to play an instrument. It would be a good skill to pick up while at the orphanage.

Many of the instruments that lay around the room seemed appealing. The drums would be fun, but the guitar was a practical choice in almost any situation that required music. At the same time, she had always been drawn to the majestic sounds of brass instruments, especially the trombone. She made her way to the middle of the room as instructed. While she was deciding on an instrument, another boy with blue streaks in his silver hair walked in, looking rather lost. She continued to watch as Mrs. Clause managed the class and the other students took their places.

"So, which instrument are you wanting to learn" shadow said talking to the girl in the center with him. So far they were the only two wanting to learn an instrument.

Shadow, one of the students who had introduced himself earlier during Power Development, caught Myra's attention with a question. They were currently the only ones standing in the middle of the room, and she decided to share her thoughts with him while waiting for the rest to decide what they wanted to do for the class.

"I'm having trouble choosing between the drum set, the acoustic guitar, and the trombone. Which one do you think would be the easiest to pick up?"

It was taking some time to get everyone in place, and Myra saw no harm in engaging in a conversation with the boy, who had proven to proven to possess rather intriguing abilities.

"I believe the easiest to learn would be the trombone based on looks alone" shadow said looking at the instrument from afar. "But it truly depends on what you consider easy or hard." he said scratching his chin in thought. "So yeah trombone looks the easiest to me."

"You do not have to decide which instrument you want now. If you are unsure which you prefer you are welcome to try one for alittle while. If you don't like it or find it too hard you can change at any time. Unlike schools you are not going to be stuck with the instrument you choose." Ms. Clause assured them. She wanted them to explore there were few limits here. They tried to make it was much like the real world as they could.

Alex walked into the music room and headed straight to one of the guitars. He picked it up and began to play a soft acoustic song as he looked around the room. He had been able to work on playing the guitar from a very young age and it was almost second nature to him at that point.

Jazzy walked over to a cubby and grabbed a silver flute with flowers painted on the sides that she designed herself. "This is what I play Myra." She said laughing as she ran over to a pillow on the floor next to Alex and began to play the same song on her flute to accompany him. Alex was the closest thing she had to a big brother but they each needed space. They really bonded over music classes particularly.

Katherin listened to the others talk. It sounded like they had paired off. She was alone in the middle of the room. She felt awkward and unwanted. They weren't new feelings but she had thought they were behind her. She didn't know what to do. She didn't want to be alone but she didn't feel like she could approach either group either. She would just have to wait and see what happened. It wasn't anyone's fault that she couldn't pick an instrument.

"Alright. Looks like everyone's chosen. Here is the music we will try to learn. Those of you who have been here awhile will learn new parts. If there was a song you want to learn just let me know. We will play for an hour and than you will have free time while I prepare lunch."
The housekeeper told them. She knew alittle about each instrument so she could help them learn to play.

Myra nodded to Shadow with a light smile. "The trombone it shall be then."

She then turned to Mrs. Clause, who had spoken to them right after their conversation. "That's good to know. I'd like to try another one when we have the class again."

Jazzy then caught her attention when she addressed her, and she turned to see the fox-girl holding a painted flute. The child then ran over to join an admittedly attractive redhead teenage boy who was already playing an acoustic guitar. She was impressed at their levels of skill and hope to one day be just as good with an instrument.

Myra glanced through the given song, not knowing where to start. She then raised her hand before speaking up.

"May I request a short lesson on how to read sheet music, Ma'am?"

Mrs. Clause nodded. She made her way over to Myra. She picked up the music sheet. Some kids knew the basic. They were taught in most schools. But she knew all kids had that advantage. Some where kept out of school until they found a way to blend in. She quickly showed the girl all the notes. Then she showed her where those notes were on the the instrument that she choose. The housekeeper didn't know what she would do with poor Katherin. The girl was the only one in the singer group. She made sure that Myra understood how to read the notes and how to find those notes on the the trombone.
