"That's a fairy story, lad, nothing more", Dwalin answered with a shake of his head.

Just as Yavanna moved to Kili's side, Saeril maneuvered herself so she was sitting right next to her injured godson, already expressing such pity, some relief, and slight fear within her eyes, already knowing what this wound would do to him later on, if the princess' tending was enough. For their and Yavanna's sake, the elder didn't let this fear overcome her. However, the girl's singing had managed to soothe her worries, and gently take his hand in hers, letting the song calm her down. "I can't thank you enough, Yavanna", she said to the younger, with a motherly smile, happy for her to help Kili, as well as help relinquish her inner fears.

Yavanna smiled warmly at Saeril...her hand reached out, touching hers softly. Giving it a squeeze. "There's no need. It's my pleasure to help. And I shall always, do the best that I can...with what I know." she promised Saeril. She smiled warmly. If Kili's condition would get worse, she would not give up on helping him.

Kili smiled at Yavanna softly, holding onto his God-mother's hand. "Is there anything, you can't do?" he asked Yavanna. He was feeling a little better
Thinking about it for a moment, Yavanna smiled a little playfully "Fly." That made the young Durin burst into chuckles. Somehow, her cheekiness made him feel uplifted. Kili was thankful, for Yavanna. For such a good friend, someone whom was like family to him, Fili and Saeril.

Fili stood by them, having to stand by Yavanna, and chuckle along with them. Yavanna was quite the light between the four of them, and the more he spent time with the them, the more of a family came to form between them. He was beginning to finally come into admitting his platonic love for the girl. She was becoming like a sister to him and Kili, and Saeril was filling in that void of motherly affection, just like Dis.

Saeril chuckled along with them, as soon as she heard Yavanna mention about flying. The result actually left her cape fluttering a little bit, but not transforming.

Yavanna's green eyes seemed to sparkle. She was glad, she could make the young Durin heirs and Saeril feel better in such times. She noticed Saeril's cloak flutter slightly. Did she provoke such action, by mentioning flying? Yavanna stood up again, clearing up after herself...as she then cleaned her own hands. They felt like a family...and in many ways, they were like family to her.

Bofur smiled softly, it seemed like the young she-elf could make everyone feel better. Just with a smile. Watching the two young heirs, he smiled over at them both. Before watching Yavanna curiously. "What happened, back near Mirkwood?" he asked her in a whisper, meaning when she fell behind. He was curious, as was Thorin. But the other one, did not pry into such things.

Bofur's sudden question out of curiosity, made her stop. The young Princess couldn't help but think about Legolas in that moment. A slight blush creeped up onto her cheeks. "I...umm just..." Yavanna then mumbled something about saving the Prince's life, quietly. She was a little embarrassed...Bofur brought it up. It was bit unexpected. Nor did she think, Thorin would approve given his words about King Thranduil. So her voice had been quite, for Thorin's sake. Even if he did kill an Orc, to save the Prince's life too. As odd as it was, Thorin would not admit to saving the Prince's life...he just passed it off, as killing an enemy...not saving the Elf.

Saeril elf ears didn't fail her, therefore the words that Yavanna didn't go unnoticed for her. The girl's blushing didn't unnoticed for her yellow-green eyes either. Something made her blush, and that look in her eyes was not new to the elder either. But she knew what the youngest was thinking...

Approaching the princess, Saeril gently guided her to the front door, where they could talk in private, outside. Pulling her hood up, she did the same for Yavanna. "Alright, I bet I know that face. What's going on?", she half-teasingly, half-curiously asked; her motherly smile still there.

Yavanna wondered, why Bofur brought this up now. It seemed like the Dwarf had bad timing. As Saeril led her outside, the young Princess blushed. "Wh...what face?"she asked. She didn't really know, what expression Saeril was talking about or if she'd seen it more than once.

Her curiosity, and teasing. Made her cheeks tingle with the blush. "I.. nothing...I just did what most good person would have done...Saved his life." Yavanna said softly. "It's bad enough, the King was angry for this...misunderstandings...his son dying, would have been worse." She didn't really think, they'd want more enemies. Especially the army of King Thranduil after them, if Yavanna hadn't saved the Prince's life. She wouldn't be able to live, with that guilt.

"I know, he doesn't like me. But I can't bring myself to hate him...It's not in my nature, to hate." Yavanna muttered softly. Before she glanced at the river...watching the icy water. Without really knowing, she was looking in the direction of Mirkwood.

Saeril chuckled at the girl's embarrassment, and with the amount of apparent signs, the elder couldn't be wrong in what she sees, right? Sure, the princess makes a rather good point to not make a situation worse, but the aftermath certainly has left something more within the girl's mind. With that, the winged she-elf nodded in agreement, but kept her glance on her, almost expecting a different answer, but let it go.

However, she did look upon Yavanna, almost scanning her to see if she's right. There could be something more behind saving the prince's life. "You have feelings for this elf, don't you?", she realized with a gentle smile, but held the girl's hands reassuringly. "Well, you just met him. Initially, he could express that, but who knows? That perspective might change; sooner or later", Saeril assured her.

As Yavanna kept her gaze, in the same direction; she had been looking at. She bit her bottom lip slightly. Hearing Saeril's words...the blush on her cheeks seemed to get bit stronger. "I..." Yavanna wasn't sure what to say. Did she feel something for the young Prince? Maybe she did...Yavanna certainly felt something...but she wasn't sure how to explain...how deep this feeling/s were. Let alone, she wasn't exactly sure what it was just yet..herself. All she knew, she never felt like that before.

"I am not sure, how to explain it." Yavanna ended up breathing out. In a way, kind of confirming what Saeril asked her.

Saeril looked and listened, a sign of understanding her every word. If she wasn't too sure of her feelings, then the elder will not pry too much on her thoughts. It would be considered inappropriate, so the elder will respect Yavanna's wishes, and keep her distance away from the princess' private affairs. "I understand", she said, accepting her honest answer, like how a mother would for their child.

"Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me", she smiled with reassurance, before giving a wink.

Yavanna smiled softly; she was glad Saeril was understanding off the situation. And not, judging or anything that'd make her uncomfortable. "With these around..not sure, how long it'll be a secret." Yavanna teased a little...as she nodded her head towards the doorway...that kept them separated from the company. Some of them were bound to pry a little, or tease...nothing stayed secret for long, with the Dwarves.

Inside, Kili was a little confused and worried. Bofur wondered if he said something wrong. "What do you think, that was about?" Kili asked his brother.

Once again, the elder chuckled at the youngest's instinct of teasing back. It was making her grow even more fond of the girl, who acted exactly like how a daughter would traditionally express themselves: Laughter, joy, innocence, and beauty, altogether. In a way, Saeril just wanted the girl to be of her own, and yet she couldn't. This girl was just so pure, almost the opposite, and a reflection of her former self, before her corruption. She was a literal star; a literal light in the darkness. In a way, her darkness.

Fili stayed by Kili's side since their God-mother and Yavanna left the house. Honestly, he didn't know what was going on, yet he saw that something seemed to be bothering their "sister", which was how they viewed the princess now. "I don't know", he responded to his little brother's wonder.

Yavanna had always been considered a blessing, among her people. As was her elder sister. With her rare bloodlines mixture, her beauty and natural kindness, compassion and love for almost everything in Middle Earth. Yavanna was loved by most. Yet the heart of a star; desired by enemies. Many believed her and Arwen to be a symbol, of peace and beauty. Some believed, she represented hope for the future of their world. Everyone had their own views on the matter.

The young she-elf embraced Saeril in a soft hug. In a way, she was thanking the elder...for listening to her. The girl felt a part of the family, like she had known them all her entire life.

Kili had pursed his lips, it seemed like neither of them knew what was going on. "I hope, she's okay." he said softly. He had never seen, anything bother Yavanna before. Besides his health and injury, the last few hours. This was new.

Saeril felt the girl's hug and, in reaction, she returned the favor by wrapping her arms around her; one hand settled on the back on her head, with the other on her back. However, unaware to the princess, the elder felt that same pinching headache that she felt back in Greenwood, causing her to make a silent wince of pain. Strangely, it disappeared, as soon as it came.

After a few minutes of their warm embrace, the elder pulled back from Yavanna, quickly composing herself from what she just recently experienced. She didn't, and couldn't, tell the princess for what happened because the last thing they need is to worry about something else, other than Kili.

As the pair were in their embrace. Yavanna gave Saeril a slight squeeze. The young girl stayed in her arms, for a few moments. Like a child, with it's mother. As their hug ended, Yavanna smiled softly at Saeril. Not knowing of what happened before.

"I think, I could use a little walk. There's something, I been meaning to find." she said softly.

Saeril smiled back at the girl, and gently returned the squeeze. In truth, she didn't want to let her go yet. Just by looking at her fair and innocent face, the elder lifted both of her hands to gently stroke the sides of her face, before tilting her head down and placing a kiss to her forehead in fondness, and out of familial love.

Just when the youngest mentioned about taking a walk, the elder pulled away her hands. "I'll join you if you want?", she offered with a motherly smile.

Yavanna looked up at the elder, with a warm; kind smile on her face. Saeril's motherly touch, made her smile and brought her comfort. It seemed to ease some worries away. But they were still there...at the back of her mind. As she heard her offer, she nodded softly. "Four pair of eyes, is always better than two." she said softly. Happily accepting for Saeril to come along.

As the pair, walked down the stairs away from the house. Yavanna kept her eyes wide open...as they walked. She felt the cool breeze tickle her skin. But she kept looking for signs, of the flower she desired. Checking most flowers, she passed by.

Just as Yavanna began to walk away from the house, Saeril willingly followed, slightly tailing behind her, with their hoods over their heads. "If you don't mind me asking. Just what exactly are you looking for?", she asked, out of curiosity. What could the youngest be looking for? Something of great importance, perhaps?

Yavanna knew that Saeril would ask that question sooner or later. "A special flower. It has healing properties...that work miracles against poison." Yavanna said softly. "It's for Kili...just in case..." she said softly. She didn't know, how much the poison had spread in his system, by the time she helped him out earlier in Bard's home...but this might be needed. If something were to happen.

Saeril was already impressed though it wouldn't surprise her that Yavanna knew the ways of medicinal plant life. Not too far from behind her, the elder had to look over her shoulder a few times, though there were moments where she would help her look. That was when it hit her. Yavanna might be looking for Athelas, or Kingsfoil. This plant was highly-used back in Fangorn Forest, where they used it to heal themselves, as well as both Man and Dwarf.

The elder was so busy helping the princess look for at least a hint of the weed to tend to Kili's wound, she then heard a controversy near the Mayor's house. "Yavanna", she called to the girl, who was searching nearby. Her Elvish ears were no mistake, so after taking the youngest's hand, she pushed her way through the crowd, and her eyes widened once she came next to the house of the Master.

Being a healer and lover of nature; and all that it offered. Yavanna had taken an interest learning about different plants and their properties, years ago. She found it helped her craft, and many plants she learned about...had been used in Elvish Medicine. Including Athelas.

As she searched for the plant..she picked up on the slight commotion. But busy worrying about Kili, she didn't think of it at first. Until Saeril grabbed her hand and the pair of them rushed towards the chaos. Yavanna's eyes widened when she saw the Company of Thorin...their company had been brought before the master. She just heard Alfred's Insult about them being desperate mercenaries. They had been caught, trying to steal weapons from the Armory. The weapons that Bard had given them; were not to their approval. They wanted something better for them all. Thorin didn't look too happy about that insult.

Yavanna breathed out softly' low enough for Saeril to only hear. "Mime melin iluvátar, emme cannot lende tien er an a few moments" (My dear God, we cannot leave them alone for a few moments.)

Thorin's jaw clenched...he stepped forward. "We are the Dwarves of Erebor! We've come to reclaim our homeland!" He proclaimed. There had been muttering among the crowd of people watching. He could hear Bilbo shivering slightly in the back, as young Bilbo stood besides Fili and Kili. "I remember this town, back in the Great days of Old! Fleets of boats, lay at harbor! Filled with Silks and Fine gems. This was no forsaken town on a Lake. This was the center of all trade in the North!" The crowd cheered for Thorin, agreeing with what he said. Lake town was not what it used to be back then.

"I would see those great days return! Unite the great Dwarves and this town...send flows of riches and gems, coming from Erebor!" Yavanna could see the people's happiness at Thorin's speech. But she then felt Bard barge past them near by. Kili on the other hand felt somewhat guilty...if he hadn't tripped down the stairs with the weapons...they would not be here. But the pain in his leg, had returned forcefully. Making him loose balance in that moment, when he had been carrying those weapons. His leg felt sore again, but he ignored it. For everyone's sake...especially his uncle. He didn't want to be forced to stay back; Because of his injury.

"Death! That is what you will bring upon us!" Bard shouted, as he stepped into the middle where Thorin stood. "Dragon fire and ruin. If you awaken that beast. It will destroy us all!"

"You can listen to this Ney-sayer." Thorin said looking at the people of Lake Town "But I promise you this. If we succeed...all will share in the wealth of the Mountain. You will have enough Gold, to rebuild Lake town three times over!" The citizens cheered again, smiling.
