"I..quite assumed that was you", he said with a small, almost fond smile, just as he saw her smile when she confirmed that the name was part of her title. Her voice was soft yet warm, and it actually suited her, as a princess. "I remember that my father would speak highly of you", he recalled, as he thought back to the time when he observed her father communicating with her and the other she-elf.

"What made you guess?" Yavanna asked him softly; a little curious. His fond smile, made her cheeks heat up with a blush. She smiled back softly, at his words. "I do believe, I've met your father when I was very little...I don't remember much about those encounters." The memories of meeting Thranduil, being so little were a little mixed up. "But he's been a good friend to my father, all these years." she said softly.

"Your glow; I've noticed it", he responded to her question. "Back at the gate, I saw a light, radiating from you. Apart from someone I once knew, it was bright; like a star", he recalled to the moment they had first laid eyes upon each other, when she saved his life. "At the moment where you...saved my life", he was hesitant to say that last part, but he had to admit that she did.

Looking into his eyes; Yavanna had a caring look in her eyes..a fondness in her eyes. It seemed like he had noticed her glow...and seen it before? With someone else...but the young she-elf did not ask whom. As he said, she saved his life back at Mirkwood..her eyes still focused on his. "I didn't want you to get hurt...or worse." Yavanna said, the last words a little quieter. The thought of something happening to him...was unsettling for the young elf...despite how briefly they knew each other.

Legolas' hearing was just as good as Saeril's own, because he had managed to hear that last part of her statement. He looked back at her as well, having to glance back in time to see that caring look in her eyes, just by looking at them. They held a green glow to them, a gentle emerald green that seem to perfectly reflect his icy-blue.

"Yavanna, go with him", Fili whispered, cutting into the moment from the sidelines. Saeril seemed to agree, with a nod, and a motherly smile towards the girl.

Yavanna's green eyes were still locked with Legolas' blue one's. She found herself, unable to look away from his eyes. Hearing Fili, Yavanna briefly looked back over at her friends. "Are you sure..what about..." Kili cut in, before she could finish.
"You worry too much." Kili said with a smile. "We can see, that you want to be with him. Just follow your heart." he told Yavanna, before he glanced over at Legolas "Do us a favor, keep her safe?" he asked looking at the young Prince.

Saeril walked towards the pair, giving the girl an expectant expression. Looking between her and Legolas, it was a sight that she should have seen coming. The princess couldn't seem to get her mind off of the Prince ever since their escape from Mirkwood. Besides, the elder showed great understanding about her feelings for the blonde elf and, true to her word, she kept it secret, until Yavanna was ready. Mahal forbid, she wouldn't dare Legolas such things either.

The winged she-elf then put a gentle hand upon her high arm, reassuring her that they will be fine. With the dwarves in the hands of one of most skilled of Elves, there shouldn't be any problems. "Go with him", she encouraged her before looking at Legolas. "Watch her; take care of her", Legolas nodded, just before Saeril placed a kiss upon the girl's forehead. "We'll see you soon. I don't know where; I don't when, but we will cross again", she said before letting go, and going to the boat that Oin and Bofur were about to push out into the lake. Just as it made into the water, she and Fili boarded.

Yavanna smiled softly at Saeril...she appreciated, they were letting her go like that. Even though she knew she'd miss them, she had felt torn about staying or going.

"I appreciate, everything you done. Thank you." Yavanna told her with a warm smile, as she smiled up at her. And Yavanna meant everything, including this moment, and keeping her feelings about Legolas, a secret. Until the boys had somewhat figured it out themselves. "Keep the boys safe...and good luck." she said softly before she nodded "Of course we will." The young Princess said with a soft smile. She knew, one day they'd meet again.

Kili smiled at Yavanna softly; she seemed rather happy. As long as she was happy, he was happy for her. He boarded the boat, not long after Fili and Saeril. Giving Yavanna a wave.

Tauriel smiled softly, at the moment. "Well, I think this is quite a good idea." she said with a warm smile towards the young Princess.

"You don't mind?" Yavanna asked, looking over at Tauriel.

"Of course I don't." Tauriel said with a warm smile. "At least, Legolas here can stop worrying so much." she teased a little. But she did see how concerned and torn he almost seemed. So it was definitely a good thing, she was here.

Legolas looked at the auburn she-elf, almost appearing offended by her teasing. "Tauriel", he said, dumbfounded by the action of giving away one of his more private affairs to someone else in a very embarrassing fashion. It wasn't in his nature to blush, but he was, slightly, before looking away from Yavanna, in order to hide it. For that, he was looking around, almost as an excuse to forget about what just recently happened.

"The news of Smaug's death will spread", he said, before having to look up at the Lonely Mountain in the distance. "I fear that this is only the beginning of something very bad to come", the blonde elf admitted, saying his thoughts aloud for only the two she-elves to hear.

Tauriel just smiled at Legolas softly "Aww come on, there's nothing wrong with that." she told him with a warm smile. But caught his brief blush. She didn't think there was anything wrong with him worrying, for the younger she-elf, that was in their company.

Yavanna smiled softly, but looked at Legolas with soft eyes; seeing the slight blush on his cheeks. But wondered to herself, if he had been as worried as she was. His thoughts, made her glance towards the Mountain. In truth, Yavanna had been worried, since Thorin and Bard's argument before the company's departure. "Honestly, I've had a bad feeling for a while too." she said softly. But his thoughts, did provoke a deeper thought inside of her head. Wondering if there was something, she and the Company did not know. "Do you know, something else?" Yavanna asked him softly, looking concerned. Wondering, if he found out something during the Orc hunt.

Legolas thoughts seemed to have provoked an inner worry, in both the elves in his presence. "Did you see something?" she asked Legolas.

Legolas was just about to answer the young she-elf, when there was a commotion just in the distance of their standing position. "...let him go! Let him go!", the shouting voice of Bard was heard before the blonde looked back to the two female Elves. "I fear that the attention of darker minds will eventually turn towards the mountain", he concluded. "They'll soon make plans to try and seize it", he looked back to the mountain before another thought came to him.

"The Orc pack that was hunting you", he gestured to Yavanna. "We tracked them through Laketown, and came across its leading Orc. His name is Bolg, the spawn of Azog the Defiler", he said. "A Wargpack was waiting for him on the outskirts of Esgorath, and fled to the north. These Orcs were different from the others, as they bore a mark I had not seen for a long time. The mark of Gundabad", the elf-prince finished, though with a small hint of grim in his voice.

Hearing the commotion, Tauriel rose a slight eyebrow. Yavanna just shook her head; it really seemed like Alfrid was hated among the residents of Lake Town people. As she paid attention to what Legolas was saying. The younger of the two she-elves, was quiet. Yavanna wondered if Saeril had similiar thoughts...but knowing the elder like she did. Yavanna guessed, it might have crossed her mind as well.
"Gundabad." Both Tauriel and Yavanna whispered to themselves. The more, Yavanna heard that term...the more she realized, she heard it a long time ago...but she could not place the particular memory, as to when she did. At least, not in that moment.

"Why are they even hunting you?" Tauriel asked looking at Yavanna...asking about just her...not the rest of the company.
Yavanna looked at the red-haired she-elf. "The Goblin King and Azog, seemed to have had an alliance. He seemed to think, that I'd be of interest to Azog...why that is...your guess is as good as mine. The Goblin King is dead, but his word had spread before." Yavanna said honestly, there could have been many reasons why Azog would be interested in her.

"An Orc stronghold in the far north of the Misty Mountains", the blonde confirmed to their thoughts. "I fear that there is something more to their simple attack on Laketown", Legolas explained as he looked back at the mountain, before he turned back to them. "I ride north. Will you come with me?", he asked them, feeling the need to.

-------------

Meanwhile,

The group was almost at the strong household of Durin's Folk. The whole way, Saeril and Fili only wondered if Yavanna would be okay, but they had to trust her in Legolas, like how they had wanted him to. Having to walk through the desolated plains, the mountain was much larger up close than how it was far away. The ruins left by the dragon were the first to spot: golden walls turned to ash.

Saeril looked around the now desolated mountain as soon as they entered the almost-destroyed front gate; like everyone, she had wondered, and had become worried about the aftermath of waking up such a beast. It was quiet, a little too quiet; only tiny pebbles rolling at their feet. As silent stepping came from the she-elf, one wouldn't even know she was there.

Yavanna could see the worry in his eyes. Feeling a dread in her stomach. She wondered what Azog and Bolg's clan were planning. "Of course." The young she-elf agreed, to go with him. She wondered where he was riding to "Where to?" she asked. But she had a feeling, what he was about to say next, almost wanting to take back her question.
Tauriel just nodded, as he asked if she'd ride with him too. "I will." she said. Whatever he wanted to find out, she wanted to be there and help. Plus, it'd give them some time on the road to get to know the young she-elf.

As they reached the mountain. Trecking up hill, Kili looked around. Seeing the city of Dale as they had passed it. Kili thought about the young Princess they left behind. Hoping, that she would be happy, with the one she had feelings for. Hopefully, she would be safe.
But the sight of the damaged front gate, and the silence. Worried him. "Hello?" Kili called out.
"Bombur? Bifur? Anyone?" Bofur called out loudly. Their voices echoed through the vastness of the Mountain. But silence...until a few moments later they heard.
"Wait! Wait! No...Stop...stop..." Bilbo yelled as he run towards them. "You need to leave, we all need to leave!" he said looking at them, as he stopped in front of them.
"But...we just got here." Bofur looked confused.
"I've tried talking to him...but he won't listen..Thorin! Thorin...Thorin...he's been down there for days." Bilbo gestured down behind him; where the treasure hoard was kept. "He doesn't eat...he barely sleeps. He's not been himself. Not at all. It's this place." Bilbo said gesturing to the mountain as a whole. He was worried about the downfall Thorin had, since they had been here. "I think a sickness lies on him."

"To Gundabad", Legolas answered the youngest she-elf, before seeking out two horses. Helping Yavanna board the first horse, he boarded on right after her, just sitting in front. Knowing that Tauriel will follow with the second horse, he took charge, having to ride past a few of the common people.

--------

Sickness?, this was the only word that made Saeril think of one thing: dragon sickness; gold lust. This was bad, and she only hoped that this wasn't what Bilbo was referring to. As the Hobbit went on, nobody noticed Fili looking over his shoulder, but the she-elf was quick to notice him running away, down the stairs. "Fili, wait!", she called to him, already dreading what he will be witnessing from their king, and her friend.

Going down the stone, spiral staircase, Fili gazed in astonishment at what was before him: mountains and mountains of golden treasure all over the room, covering the floor, and up to the stairs. Gaping at the great load, Fili did not move from his spot when he got there. The tales were true...

Following Fili to the treasure hoard at the top of the stairwell, all the she-elf could do was gaze in shock at the mountain's enormous wealth. "The great treasure of Durin", she breathed out.

And there it is. Yavanna thought to herself, the place she thought he might say. As they found two horses. Yavanna got on with his help...as he sat in front of her. Her arm lightly wrapped around his waist; so she could hold onto him. Pushing the hood back. Yavanna let the wind blow through her Dark Raven hair.

Climbing onto the second horse. Tauriel soon rode after Legolas and Yavanna. Soon catching up with them, she rode side by side with their horse.

"What sickness?" Kili asked confused. Before Bilbo could answer, Bilbo saw Fili running past them "Fili...Fili..." he called after him, running after him. The rest of the company that arrived, followed the young Dwarf. "Wait...one's of you is missing." Bilbo said, as he saw that the young Princess Yavanna was not here.

Kili run after his brother, down the spiral stair. He stopped beside his elder brother and his God-Mother. Staring at the enormousness heaps of Treasure. Thorin was still walking among the treasure hoards. Awe-struck almost. "Gold...Gold Beyond Measure." Thorin muttered. "Beyond Sorrow and Grief. Behold, the great treasure hold of Thror!" Kneeling down...Thorin picked up a red gem, before tossing it to Fili. "Welcome, my sister's sons!" he said looking at Fili and Kili. "To the Kingdom of Erebor." Thorin's voice seemed to echo.

Bilbo watched Thorin with great concern...he was not himself, that was for sure. Kili looked at his God-mother and Fili; he never seen his uncle act like this. Thorin then noticed there was someone not among them. "We're one member short." he said with narrowed eyes.

Fili indeed caught the jewel that was thrown to him; but Saeril, on the other hand, felt a little uneasy about Thorin's new appearance. It was unlike him to dress in such garb, and worse yet, speak of gold, as if it was a lifeline. The eldest brother looked to Kili, already feeling worried about this, before looking to their godmother. Something was terribly wrong...

"She decided to stay behind", Fili quickly spoke up as Thorin mentioned about the princess. "With others", he added, almost too quickly. He didn't mention about Legolas or Tauriel. Thorin was not in the right state to even hear about such beings.

Thorin narrowed his eyes as he heard his nephew. It sounded too quick. "Mhhh, lots of injured people from Lake Town." Kili added. "You know, healer and all...Yavanna felt her duties laid with the sick and dying." God, if only his uncle knew the real reason? Thorin would curse her to hell and back. Kili didn't want to that. Kili felt as uneasy as his elder brother and God-Mother were feeling.

Bilbo couldn't watch Thorin any longer...Thorin was still searching for the Arkenstone. Bilbo had it, he tried to give it to him a few times. But he was worried what it would do to him...already Thorin was possessed when it came to the treasure. It would get worse, if he had the Arkenstone. So Bilbo kept it, for safe keeping...away from Thorin for his own good.

As he sat away from everyone...he examined the stone in his hands. Looking it over. Memories of Smaug flashed across his mind. 'I am almost tempted to let you take it. And watch it destroy him...watch it corrupt him!' Bilbo still remembered Smaug's words and felt guilty, for what happened to Lake Town.

Fili was trying not to let his exhaustion show, but his feet were beginning to ache, while trying to wade through the collosal piles of gold and jewels. It was becoming harder and harder the further he and his brother went. One wrong step could bring an entire mound raining down, and their search would have to be halted, or become slower. No doubt that their uncle was beginning to lose his patience as every minute passed. They had been looking for so long that he knew that his baby brother could collapse at any minute. The last thing they needed was to have Delva in the room. Not that he didn't want her to, but he didn't want their godmother to get further in her silent anger towards Thorin.

Once out of the eyesight of their seemingly disturbed uncle, Fili took the opportunity to pause in their search. If he caught them resting, he would certainly put them back to it. He sat upon the endless pile of their family's wealth, exhausted. Honestly, he didn't know what to do; being close to Thorin, he couldn't dissapoint or disobey, but when it comes to Kili's sake, some measures needed to be overrun. Fili's loyalty has now split; he admired their Delva deeply, maybe not as deeply as his brother, but enough to fully trust her. Thorin, on the other hand, was his uncle, and current predessecor. Becoming king would be underway, and their uncle entrusts that his heirs would follow his every word, but in this circumstance, it has put Fili and Kili in the middle of chain that could only get so far. Tied between Saeril and Thorin, the brothers were in the middle of tug-of-war.

"Remember the stories, Ki'? There was only one Arkenstone; a large white gem that shined the brightest of lights. It's really impossible to miss", the eldest reminded him. Maybe this'll help. "As luminous as Delva's eyes", he added as an afterthought.

Searching for the Arkenstone was trying...Thorin had almost everyone looking for it. Apart from Delva...he and his brother managed to persuade her to stay away from the treasure hoard...to stop her and their uncle from Arguing. Climbing up another heap...he shuffled through the gold...in search of the Gem, his uncle wanted. Kili sighed, as he and his brother finally came to some rest.

"Of course, I remember..Where could it have gone?" Kili muttered. It was not like, it could have gotten that far...surely, it must be here somewhere. Even though Kili knew the description of the Gem, like the back of his hand...it was no where visible in sight.

After a while, of rest. They were at it again...but Kili managed to sneak away from the treasure hoard. He ducked, hiding behind one pile..when his uncle turned around. "Keep looking! It must be here." Thorin's voice boomed, before he turned else-where to look in another direction.

Seizing his chance, Kili sneaked past his uncle. Running off to find Saeril. He was worried about her and went to see if she was okay.

As Tauriel rode besides Yavanna and Legolas, she glanced over at Yavanna softly. "If you don't mind me asking...but...how did you do it?" Tauriel asked Yavanna softly, in reference to the wave she had summoned in Mirkwood. "I never known anyone, do that before." she admitted. Tauriel been wondering about her bloodline...but had been the first one to ask about it.

It took Yavanna a moment, to remember what Tauriel meant and she smiled softly. "It was something, my elder sister taught me. Special Talents, run in my family." Yavanna said, 'talents'...that was one way to describe it. Or for a lack of better word, complicated bloodlines.
