"In that case, young Durin. Come with me", the she-elf offered her hand to lead him out of the gazebo, and towards an outdoor balcony. Once they made it, she turned to him before letting her wings unravel. "We can go as high as you would like to go", she said with a bit of proudness in her voice. Crouching down to one knee, she was low enough to let him on. "Don't worry. They never tire. Not even once".

Kili smiled at his God-Mother. As he stood up. He followed her, his hand in hers. He then smiled at her words. "Mhh, higher than the tree-tops." he said. It seemed a little bit daring. But he had enjoyed the view from the tree-top earlier that day. He thought the view even higher up, would be magnificent.

As she crouched down. He climbed up onto her back, carefully. Wrapping his arms around, holding onto her tightly. "How many people, can you manage to hold at once?"he asked curious. If she ever had more than one, on her back.

Saeril laughed heartily, as soon as he prepped himself upon her being, only being excited about the height of flying. She will gladly go that high, plus if she were to go higher, then her elf eyes would give her the navigation to go through the dark and, if possible, maybe even the clouds.

It was an awkward piggyback position, and the she-elf kept him up with her arms hoisting his legs. In truth, he wasn't at all too heavy. Her strength was too great; Mahal, she took down a few orcs and wargs earlier today. So, there was no trouble. "At least one person, Young Durin. My strength may be impressive, but I can't lift more than two dwarves".

Carefully, Saeril perched herself onto the railing, looking down at the depth of the drop in the ridge. "Not bad?", she asked behind her, towards him. She didn't wait for him to respond, and the she-elf got ahead of herself: by already letting her body drop from the rail.

Kili had no idea, what amused her. But it made him smile. Maybe it was just his excitement. He did love a good thrill. Maybe he was a little bit reckless. But he was young. Full of life, spirit and he wanted to enjoy life. He certainly wanted to enjoy this moment...and going so high. Well, that'd be fun.

Once he was in position and she kept him up. He was also holding on...so he wouldn't fall. He nodded at her words. Taking it all in.

Before he could say something, or react. She dropped from the railing. All that came from him was an arhh..woooo sound, before he started laughing at the thrill. As he hadn't been prepared for the drop. A few of the Dwarves and Yavanna, glanced in the direction where the sound came from. The young Elf Princes just shook her head smiling.

Saeril let herself fall, and the surprise of Kili's reaction made her become amused again. She did expect laughter to come from him, but there was a little voice in the back of her head that told her that he would start screaming.

Before she could hit head-first into the water, the she-elf allowed her wings to expand, and lift herself to fly above the water. Letting Kili see his reflection on the surface of the water, Saeril didn't notice that Fili was watching them from his place where the dwarves and Yavanna remained. He was happy for his brother to experience the impossible, but he didn't want his little brother to get over his head if things went wrong. Nevertheless, the brunette seemed to be having fun, almost mistaking his screaming to be screams of joy.

Kili gasped slightly, as they came so close to the water. But smiled as her wings unfolded and she seemed to glide across the water. The smile, the excited look in his eyes...his hair swooshing in the breeze. Everything was a perfect reflection in the beautiful Crystal Clear water. Even the stars in the night sky, twinkled in the water. He was laughing and screaming from excitement...clearly very happy.

Yavanna joined Fili by his spot. She saw he was a little worried. She placed a soft hand on his shoulder. "I am sure he's fine." she smiled down at the young Dwarf softly. "Just enjoying himself, as I can see." Her star light seemed to glow bit Brighter. Even though her light was visible during the day...it glowed more brightly in the evening. Maybe even Brighter than some stars in the sky.

Saeril gave a joyful laugh when she heard Kili's enthusiasm. Keeping herself in a perfectly weighted position, he can perhaps release his grip from around her neck, and feel the air. "Lean!", she told him, before making an arch to dodge a rock structure. "Feel how I move, young Durin. When I turn; when I accelerate", she was going steady before making another dodge. "I can see us now; wagering into battle, slashing through an army from the air", the she-elf said in wonder.

Fili was watching the flying figure move across the water, and past the rocks, until he felt the grip of the princess. He smiled to her, before looking back to Saeril. "He's living the dream", he confirmed, once he heard his younger brother's distant laughter.

Kili smiled at the sound of her laughter. He felt brave enough and loosened his grip around her neck...and closed his eyes...enjoying the feel of the air...feeling free. He then leaned with her, with a chuckle. "Mhh, I bet we'd be no match against our enemies." he said with a grin. Feeling her movements, Kili followed her motions...as he leaned with her, anytime she dodged the rocks.

Yavanna smiled softly at the young Dwarf. Before she watched Kili enjoying himself. "He sure is." she said softly. "I take it, you're related to her somehow?" she asked softly.

"Of course we-- not that way!", Saeril exclaimed with a laugh when she felt Kili lean the wrong way. However, this mistake was quickly corrected, as he suddenly went into sync with her. The view was amazing from the air, and she could already envision them charging headfirst towards an army, taking out many with one blow. She wondered how late it was, so after making one giant u-turn around a tall rock structure, the she-elf was heading towards a clearing where the waterfall ended, right near the palace, in the gardens.

Fili looked up at Yavanna when she asked about the winged she-elf. "We're not exactly related, as much as Kili and I wish for her to be, but she's a friend of our family; our mother", he paused, as he fondly recalled to the times he had crossed paths with her in the forest. "Ever since Kili and I were born, 'Delva'...that's what we called her...she became our angel; a guardian within our lives. I was the only one to ever see her, but Kili didn't get the chance, ever since she mysteriously disappeared", the blonde frowned.

"For many years, we waited; remaining eager and determined, before Gandalf arrived", a small smile came to his face. "At that moment, there she was, in the flesh; beautiful as ever. I noticed how much she has changed; with her horns and wings. There was no ill-will in the reunion, just joy and happiness", Fili finally looked back out, having to notice Delva landing in the distance.

It seemed, like the young Durin Heir made a slight mistake. But he soon went the right way...letting out more laughs of joy. Woooping, at the u-turn she made. Moving with her. As she finally landed...Kili climbed down off her shoulders "Woah...when can we do that again?" he asked excited. He was beaming, with a bright smile. It was the most amazing, feeling and experience. "Fili needs to experience it...heck everyone does...that was amazing!"

She listened to young Fili, explain how the knew Saeril and she smiled warmly. It did seem, like a very special and heart-felt reunion for the three of them. "That's sweet. I can tell she means a lot to you both...and you both to her." she commented. She giggled as she could hear Kili's excitement all the way here. "Is he always, this excitable?" she asked with a warm smile on her lips.

As Kili breathed in the fresh air...he spotted the bright light that seemed to be coming from Yavanna. "Look at that, so beautiful and bright...." he pointed in the direction to the balcony; where the beautiful bright light was coming from. At first, not realizing it was the young Princess.

Saeril allowed him to slide off of her back, and onto the ground, practically giving her a chance to stretch her wings out, and tuck them back in. "This was just a preview. You'll get a full view later on", she stated, half-way teasing him that there was going to be more of a chance to fly again. Sitting herself on the ground, the bright, full moon was shining, along with the sounds of the water falling peacefully. She did notice a different kind of shine in the distance and, unlike Kili, she knew that fair glow was coming from the princess.

The very memory made her smile fondly; the girl was someone she used to be: honest, tender, and physically-beautiful; highly unlike how she was when Sauron had his hold upon her. That's when she realized that Yavanna was an instant reflection of how she was before her corruption.

Little fireflies flew about, and the wind was calm against her hair. "There will be many opportunities for us to fly together again", she stated as a matter-of-fact, once her thoughts "Now, let us just dream about it", she suggested.

Fili didn't look at Yavanna, but had his attention on the scene in the distance, even while she asked him another question. "Ever since she back to us, you can probably guess", he chuckled. For a moment, the blonde didn't understand why his uncle would choose to be rash and dislike the whole Elven race. Not all were his enemies, and it was in this moment, that Yavanna proved that she wasn't a threat either. The girl was kind, tender, and fair, all at once.

Kili pouted slightly, as he heard Searil "Aww, Delva...don't tease me." he whined slightly. But looked excited about more opportunities for them to fly and for him to get a better view. He felt relaxed, in the warm summer's evening breeze. The distant brilliant glow, had his attention for a few moments longer. The young Durin was curious, what it was...what it was coming from.

He smiled at her words "And it sounds, like good dreams to me." Kili said with a nod.

Yavanna smiled softly, as she breathed in the summer Breeze. She giggled softly "Yes, I think I can guess." she said softly. "Fili!" Thorin's sharp voice, made them turn around. To see a rather stern and cold, face of Thorin staring at them. Clearly not looking pleased.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Thorin asked his nephew. "Elves are not..."

"What is it that I have done to offend you?" Yavanna asked, cutting in before Thorin could insult her race. Her eyes looked a little sad. "I never wished you, your kin or your family any harm. Nor would I ever. I don't know, why you think of me as your enemy...but I am not." she said softly, with a shake of her head.

Saeril glanced at him with a corner of her eye, before having to flick them up, looking at the stars. She started to wonder if they could perhaps touch the stars. Wait, touch the stars? She didn't think that would be possible; in truth, she's never done it. "I've never been so sure if I could touch the stars", she wondered aloud.

Remarkably, the youngest godson wasn't at all tired, and she could only hope that if she, or his brother, asked him to go to sleep, she wouldn't be so sure on assuming that he would. The she-elf had one of her wings stretch out, giving him an open spot to join her. It was in one those moments that Saeril started to miss Dis. The she-elf was trusted by their mother; even to the brink of death, Saeril promised to protect them. That was her destiny now...

Fili turned around, only to spot Thorin advancing on them, mainly Yavanna. Feeling that the girl should be defended, the blonde instinctively stood between her and his uncle, showing that Thorin will absolutely not offend an elf who showed them nothing but kindness and generosity.

Kili eventually sat down, beside her. As she laid out her wind for him to join her. Kili didn't hesitate. Laying back on the soft green grass. Not that he was tired. He just laid back to admire the night sky and the beautiful twinkling lights in the sky. "I am not sure. Maybe one day, we can try and touch them." he said with a wide smile.

For a few moments, he began to wonder about his mother. And how she was coping on her own. Kili always thought, Dis worried too much. Maybe it was what mothers just did. He felt rather alert, maybe it was the thrill of the flying.

"What was your favorite place? That you've ever been to?" Kili asked, glancing over at her with a soft smile.

As Fili moved in front of her. Yavanna was glad; at least someone here knew that she was on their side. That she was a friend and meant no harm. In fact, the young she-elf was quite fond of the Company, Thorin brought.

Thorin narrowed his eyes at Fili "Don't be a fool, Fili!" Thorin said sternly. "She's an elf! You know what they're like...betray you, the second you look away!"

Yavanna felt her spirits sink. Betrayal? "I do not know, which elves Betrayed you Sir, Thorin. But you to hold every single elf responsible for their actions is a little too much. I have never betrayed anyone, nor broken a promise. If you don't believe me...ask Gandalf. I am sure he'd be more than happy to tell you, I stay true to my word...and that I am a friend, not a foe." His words seemed to have a deep impact on her. Her beautiful green eyes, were slowly turning crystal blue from sadness.

Saeril looked to the ground in thought, after she heard Kili ask about her favorite place to fly. In truth, she'd admire the scene anywhere. It was hard to choose one. After a moment of thought, the she-elf glance over to him. "I love being everywhere", she smiled softly. "I can't choose one", she admitted, before she heard distant voices with her sensitive ears. The noise made her perk her head away from the young dwarf, and to the direction of the noise, listening.

Fili held his ground, once his uncle began to, once again, become paranoid and ramble about the skeptical trust Elves can display. "How can they be all bad, uncle?", he asked, reserved as always. "The Elves you saw that day, are not like the ones here. Tell me, aren't they and Delva turning their backs on us now?", Fili had to speak on the matter from his point of view. So far, Yavanna didn't refuse on giving them what they need, and Delva didn't turn her back on them every time they were in danger.

Thorin frowned, hearing his nephew. He wasn't sure, if young Fili was be dazzled by the young Elf or what. But he was too stubborn to admit, that one he was wrong and that two...his fears and judgment got the better of him. "They're waiting for the right opportunity! When we'd turn our backs...they'd stab us in the back and betray us. It's just the way they work." Thorin sounded angry and annoyed. "The Elves, would be the death of us! You should know better than to trust one....let alone a whole bunch of them." Thorin shook his head at Fili.

Yavanna sighed, as she heard Fili's uncle. "You do not believe, there are kind, generous and honest people, among my kind?" She looked a little hurt. "If Saeril...or my people want to hurt you...we would have done it by now." What did one have to prove they were on Thorin and his companies side? If showing Kindness and help wasn't enough.

Bilbo sighed as he heard Thorin and he shook his head at the Dwarf King. "Thorin...I think.." he bit his lips "I think, it's a little harsh. The girl didn't do anything wrong. Fili is right." He could see, Thorin was getting worked up again. Something was getting to him big time, that was for sure. But the Elves were kind enough to offer them help, food, shelter; Then Why be so rude to the poor girl?

Kili watched his God-Mother, and he rose a slight eyebrow. He let out a soft chuckle. "They all must be, something special if you can't pick just one." he said with a smile. But frowned as he picked up the sound from the Balcony of the Castle...it sounded like a heated conversation. Before Delva could move...Kili was on his feet. Practically sprinting over to where, his brother was defending the young Elvish Princess.

The young Durin, run so fast. He forgot to slow down...almost knocking Fili and Yavanna down with him. As he stopped in front of the elf protectively...after he managed to catch her...steadying her so she was back on her feet.

Before Yavanna could even blink. Young Kili had almost knocked her down. She smiled softly, as he steadied her on her two feet. But she sighed softly. "Delva, didn't do anything wrong uncle." Kili told Thorin with a frown. "And to insult, one of my new friends...is not very nice of you." he was on Yavanna and Fili's side on this argument. And it seemed like most of the Dwarves were too. Especially Balin, whom shook his head at Thorin in dissaproval. The elder Dwarf, had more sense...than the young Dwarf King.

"Thorin, don't keep looking for enemies...where there are none." Balin told him.

Fili respected his uncle, but for him to disrespect one of his newest friends wasn't something he should tolerate. In a way, he was lucky, and glad to even love him, in the first place. To hear Yavanna reply back in such a sad way made his heart clench; her feelings were hurt. He looked behind him, up at her fair Elven face. The glow that he knew, one that usually came from the princess, it dimmed a little, and he figured that it was apparent by her feelings of sadness that made it turn dull. The blonde ignored Thorin, as he kept his gaze on the girl. He would do anything to see the smile come back; the one that was once there, only a few moments prior.

As Saeril comtinued looked up, she heard the footsteps of Kili departing the scene. Just as she did, the she-elf looked back up, where she saw the glow dimming, where she heard the saddening voice of the princess. Worried, she stood up, and gracefully took flight back to the balcony where the other dwarves were. Going to where she heard those voices, Saeril landed gracefully in the walkway, and walked upon to where she saw Thorin looking at her godsons and the princess. It took her a while to process what she had happened to hear, but reluctantly walked over to Yavanna, and stood next to her, giving her a reassuring smile, only a mother would give.

Yavanna had barely felt sad. But to hear Thorin speak so harshly about her kin and even doubt her good intentions. it was saddening and hurtful. It seemed like the Brightest Star of Rivendell, was becoming dimmer and dimmer...with her sadness. Her light fading...like a dying star would fade in the night sky. She tried to smile, as she saw Fili look at her. But her smile seemed almost forced..and lacking her usual happiness.

"I have yet to meet an elf, that doesn't hide their true intentions." Thorin breathed out...seemingly ignoring everyone's comments. He hated to be told otherwise...apparently, he was very very stubborn. Not one to admit his mistakes easily. "And I don't need the likes of you, being around my Nephews...to charm them and betray them." Thorin's jaw clenched.

Those words, felt a slap to Yavanna. The bright light she once bared...seemed to fade out almost totally. Saeril's warm smile, and the support of Fili, Kili, Barin and Bilbo was the only thing that kept her light flickering slightly. But it was weak. Yavanna smiled back at Saeril...but it was a sad smile.

"I am sorry...I think, I should excuse myself for the night." Yavanna's voice cracked slightly. "Goodnight." she then began to leave.

"Yavanna wait.." Kili tried to stop the young Elf princess, but she quickly hurried away. He just frowned and he folded his arms over his chest, glaring in annoyance. Turning to Thorin, he frowned. "I hope you're happy now!" he said. "When will you admit, not everyone's the enemy?! She's never done anything wrong! Her intentions...are true." he sighed shaking his head.

"You don't know that." Thorin said.

"Yes I do!" Kili raised his voice now. "She's never done anything, to suggest she's hiding something." he frowned shaking his head.

Even Saeril's motherly smile didn't help the poor girl. Her smiles always helped brighten someone's day, but not the Star of Rivendell? As she watched the girl walk away hurriedly, she realized that Thorin's harsh words were true, to her, at least. She technically did do something wrong to betray the royal family, but it wasn't of her doing. After years of sanctuary in Gandalf's care, the winged she-elf tried to convince herself that she wasn't the one in control, but a malevolent persona who craved nothing but death and violence. She couldn't tell her godsons, especially Thorin. But yet, at least.

It became a remarkable effect that the sadness of the princess was to be carried on. Saeril felt the sadness coming from Yavanna, as she walked away and, in order to see that smile again, the she-elf wasn't too far behind. As they turned a corner, just down at another section, she softly spoke to her. "Your Grace", she said, from just a few inches behind her. "Don't let Thorin's words trouble you. He's been through such hard times in his travels". Her yellow-green eyes seem to reflect from the moonlight above them.

Fili stood next to his brother, in agreement to his arguement. If Kili didn't feel it, but the blonde began to hold a great regard for the princess. Whether his uncle liked it or not, he wasn't gonna let him hurt such a young and fair elf, who showed them nothing but kindness and generosity.

As Yavanna walked away from the scene; she did not really count on someone following her. The sound of Saeril's voice made her stop. Looking a little surprised, that the winged she-elf followed her. She sighed softly, at her words. "So, he finds the need to judge the good people in life that offer him help?" she asked. Yavanna understood, Thorin having hard times in his life. But not his cold judgment towards the good, kind people.

"What is, that makes him hate our kind so much?" she asked.

Thorin frowned at his two nephews. It seemed the young she-elf had bewitched the two of them. It seemed like a useless cause to argue with them.

Kili stood firmly besides his elder brother. A strong look in his eyes. Kili was fond of the young Princess, just like his elder brother. Yavanna was a dear new friend. He wished his uncle, would look past the hatred of elves and the bad past to move on...and appreciate the Kindness the elves here offered them.
