The Digital World. A world that exists parallel to our own. It exists in our computers, servers, phones, if it has a computer chip or connection to the internet, The Digital World is there. This world is inhabited by many digital lifeforms, the most popular of which being Digital Monsters, or Digimon for short. The Digimon are protected by a group of powerful knight Digimon known as the Royal Knights. Years ago an evil Digimon rose to power and nearly destroyed the Digital World. If it weren't for a group of six children, who used the powers granted to them by the legendary warriors. 10 former heroes of their world weilding the powers of the elements in their rawest form. These new heroes defeated the threat known as Lucemon and saved both worlds. Now all these years later Lucemon is back and with his corrupting ways he corrupted the data of the three celestial digimon Seraphimon, Cherubimon, and Ophanimon. After they learned that the three had been corrupted the Royal Knights mobilized attacking Lucemon's tower known as the Shadow Spire. Magnamon betraying the orders of Omnimon located and activated the Warriors D-Tectors before sending them out into our world. Once there they would be found only by the ones chosen to use the powers of the warriors. What Magnamon didn't know however is that some of his power seeped into the D-Tectors and allowed the Spirits to evolve based on the person who found the D-Tectors linked with them. Lucemon acting as quickly as possible stripped as many of the spirits from the D-Tectors as he could taking all but seven of the spirits. Deciding that if Magnamon could recruit heroes he could recruit champions of his own. Giving the spirits of Steel, Wood and Darkness to the corrupted Celestials, he instructed them to find three humans to use their power and fight the remaining seven warriors. As for the B spirits of the remaining powers, they were attered across the Digital World. As each of the humans found their D-Tectors they would be transported to the Digital World arriving in a cave where an injured Magnamon waited to greet them.

The principal lost authority in his office, the moment the confrontation started. Two children sitting quietly in opposite corners, bloody rags held on both their foreheads. The boy's petrified face, staring at his feet. Hanako's eyes wandered around the room, watching the rain pelting the windows.

“Your daughter should be thrown in a juvenile detention center! Attacking my son, who was just helping her up when he saw her falling down the stairs!” A shrill feminine voice cried out.

“Are you really one of those stupid parents who never questions their kids actions?” A younger male retorts.

“Excuse me?! Now I'm not surprised your daughter behaves improperly, they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!”

“Please, stop shouting. Without witnesses I can't be certain what happened. But your son has been here repeatedly for similar behavior and could get expelled. You understand that? Though your daughter hasn't been in trouble recently, she was caught wielding a knife near another student. That comes with some serious concerns...” The principal said in a serious tone trying to hide his irritation. The girl stood, raising her hand.

“Excuse me, principal...Jamie didn't push me down the stairs-” causing her father, the mother, boy and principal to turn their attention to her. “I tripped and so did he...we wanted to race down the stairs and we ended up falling down and hurting ourselves. The knife accidentally fell out of my backpack. I'm sorry I didn't speak up before. I was scared that I was in trouble for running in the halls-”

“Y-yeah. She's right. We even already apologized to each other...” The boy interjected standing up with both hands behind his back. The adults seemed dumbstruck from their statements...

* * *

The rain turned into a full blown storm. Hanako was sitting in the backseat the car, holding a plastic spoon and styrofoam cup containing strawberry ice cream, filled with real strawberries. Watching the train passing through, stretching out as far as she could see. The stench of cigar smoke filled the air, from her father exhaling outside his window. Gripping the wheel anxiously rocking in his seat, turning on a radio station playing some rock. He glanced at Hanako giving her a forced smile that she could see from the rear-view mirror.

“Is the ice cream good?” The father asked in a concerned tone, noticing it had barely been touched. Hanako politely smiled back.

“It's good. Thanks dad...” Hanako proceeded to take a single spoonful and put it in her mouth. The father looked forward and checked his cellphone that was dying, slamming the wheel with the palm of his hand accidentally honking the horn, startling Hanako.

“You shouldn't listen to bitches like that. If someone tries to bully you, you do whatever it takes to make sure they never bully you again! Your a wonderful girl.” The father said casually, unbuckling his seat-belt to face the back. Giving her a reassuring pat on her head, caressing her hair. “Do you think mom is going to like her birthday flowers?” Hanako nodded, glancing at the wrapped bundle of pink roses lying in front passenger seat. Minutes later driving off, the moment the railroad crossing gate fully ascended.

* * *

The winds grew harsher and cold. Hanako rushed inside the house, putting her shoes together and hanging her coat up. She hurried straight for her room, past the kitchen where her mother was shirtless, washing and putting away dishes.

“Hey mom, we're back.” Hanako said sounding matter-of-fact, stopping on the first and squeakiest step on their staircase. The mother didn't even seem to notice, until turning toward the father stepping inside, holding the flowers in his hands.

“Happy birthday-” He said before being interrupted by the swift smack across the face.

“My birthday was yesterday! And I've told you countless times to not wear muddy shoes inside the kitchen! I just finished mopping and now I have to do it all over again!” She walked away and started drying dishes. The father stomps his foot, clenching the flowers. Taking his shoes off, hurling them at the front door.

“I told you I didn't get paid until Friday! You don't have to be such an insufferable bitch to me as soon as I walk in the door!”

“I looked through your phone last night and you've been texting Rachel! What's that about? Is it because I'm such a bitch, now you're trying to fuck that obnoxious sky monster believer?” Hanako had already ran up the stairs and closed her bedroom door, but could still hear her parents shouting at each other. Noticing that her bedroom had been vacuumed. The vacuum sitting beside her doorway in the hallway. Her drawing supplies back in their containers, instead of lying on her desk. Placing her backpack down and laid on her bed. Staring up at the ceiling, arms folded underneath her pillow. Letting her mind wander, thinking about what she'll draw next. Interrupted by a soft meow.

A black cat stood on her chest, a red ribbon wrapped around his neck. She smiled and started petting him, while he laid down and stretched out on her stomach, letting out a soft purr. She closed her eyes briefly until hearing the sounds of thunder. Standing up with the cat contently being held in both arms.

“I need to make sure your friends have enough food in their bowls...” Hanako said glancing at the cat who looked up at her, chirping in response. She headed down the stairs and into the kitchen where her parents we're still arguing in front of the sink. She gulped slightly, before being able to speak up.

“Bitch! A male co-worker gave me this coffee mug from work! But you're so delusional that everything I bring home was bought by another women. Don't want me to have anything of my own?! Fine! I'll destroy it!” The father shouted, turning and hurling the coffee mug with great force, scattering into pieces, barely missing Hanako and putting another hole in the wall. The father and the mother looked shocked, seeing her standing there silently. The cat jumped down and ran off, she only rushed after him going out the backdoor, which had it's own cat-door and rushed outside into the storm toward their large shed. She turned on the lightbulb hanging on ceiling, noticing the black cat was sitting around with four other cats, with one white cat motionless on the ground with something lying beside the cat's head.

“Myra...” Hanako thought stepping closer and kneeling down, her palm gently touching the cat to notice the heart wasn't beating. She gently wiped the tears streaming down from her face, starting to cry. The black cat rubbed up against her and started meowing.

“Myra was always getting into trouble, disappearing for days at a time and always stole from the cats bowls...I'm going to miss her...” She said. Grabbing the scoop from the large container of dry cat food, filling five of the six empty bowls. The cats immediately ate from their bowls, once she put the food inside. Picking up the strange device. A loud crash! She turned around, the shed door swaying open, from the forceful winds. She clenched the device, feeling the chill of the wind hitting her, hearing it whistle.

“I wonder how far the winds carried her soul away...sometimes I wish I could be carried away with the wind too...” She fell backward, an intense force knocked her on the ground. She stumbled upright, with the device held tightly in her hands. She looked in awe, seeing the large monster standing there...

Since he had nothing better to do Yuuji had decided to replay Pokemon Sun with a completely different party this time, though he would still have Litten as his starter as Fire was his favorite type. While he was looking for the cartridge he noticed a strange device hidden in between his games. His first thought was that his parents must have gotten it for him, but in that case they would have given it to him personally.

Seeing no reason not to at least inspect it closer he picked it up. As soon as Yuuji touched the D-tector he was blinded by a bright light. When he could see again he found himself in a cave with two other people and what appeared to be a blue lizard knight wearing golden armor, if he didn't know he was awake he would be convinced that this was some strange dream. "What the f**k?"

Daichi walked among the streets, a pair of big headphones covered his ear. Instead of going straight home,Daichi decided to go to the Cemetery. Today marked the day of his mother 'a death and he wanted to drop off white roses, his mother's favorite. It took him about five minutes to make it there, walking inside the gates of cemetery. Aaric Mitsaki

Aaric snapped back to the sound of rain hitting window panes. What had he been doing all this time? He turned his head down at his rubber-gloved hands and perceived that they held dishes.
“That’s right, I’m washing dishes,” Aaric thought. As he continued to thoroughly scrub and rinse the china, Aaric’s mind naturally wandered to the order of his day. It would be finishing the dishes first, making some tea and snacks, reading a good book in the study, planning the rest of his week, and then going to sleep. Upon finishing his thoughts, Aaric discovered that he’d finished placing all the wet dishes onto the rack. Taking off his gloves was the first manner of action, a step he forgot momentarily. With some difficulty, Aaric forced the rubber gloves off both of his hands, starting with the left hand and ending with the right. After placing the gloves on the rack, Aaric stepped over to the overhead racks of cooking utensils, reached for the whistling pot, filled the pot with water, and placed it on the stove. With a satisfying click, the stove was on. A thought suddenly popped into Aaric’s head. ‘Select a book in the meantime.’ With his right foot in front first, Aaric walked towards his father’s study.
As usual, the study had an overwhelming presence. Out of all the rooms, the study was the largest and most decorated. Many dark oak shelves filled with many books lined the walls of the study, and on one wall there stood the two desks, one empty and the other carrying a computer, and on the opposite wall was embedded a quaint fireplace prepared with fresh logs ready to be lit. In the center of the room was a ring of armchairs, all facing a single coffee table. After quickly shaking off the feeling, Aaric perused the bookshelves for a book suiting his qualifications.
“William Shakespeare… John Green… Harper Lee… None of these are appropriate for this serene rain. Oh, what’s that?” Aaric was look up towards a book with its edge peeking out from the top of a bookshelf.
“I’ve noticed that book in the study. Father must have procured earlier this week.” Aaric obtained a step ladder and propped it up on its feet. Upon stepping onto the ladder, Aaric discovered that it was just short of allowing him to easily reach the book. A cold wind blew through the study, filling him with a strange surge of determination. Aaric outstretched his arm towards the book, but even then, Aaric couldn’t reached the book, but this did not deter Aaric. He lightly jumped at the book, just barely touching it. With each jump, the book slide out further from the top of the shelf, revealing its true size to Aaric.
“Oh my, that is no book. It’s a tome!” Aaric thought midair. His finger barely grazed the tome, but that was enough to cause the tome to begin a slow teetering.
“Oh dear.” The tome fell from the top bookshelf.
“Ouch...” Aaric looked at his surroundings. He was on the floor next to a giant gaudy green book. In that instant, Aaric heard the teapot whistling. Immediately, Aaric placed himself on his two feet and began a brisk walk towards the kitchen.
***
Aaric walked into the study once more, this time carrying a tray that held a teacup of milk tea and the butterscotch cookies he made yesterday. He made steps towards the coffee table and placed the tray on the table. After placing the tray onto the table, Aaric approached the green tome and lifted it up from the ground.
“What is this?” After examining the strange cover. As he opened the book and began flipping the pages, Aaric walked towards an armchair and sat down.
The contents of the books, initially, did not interest Aaric. The tome had no discernible useful information, contained terrible and almost childish drawings, and in general was mostly uninteresting. It was strange to Aaric, however, that he continued reading, as a book of this quality would garner his undutiful rejection and the shelf. He continued to flip through the pages, reading about the lore of an unknown land, where intelligent creatures known as digimon lived and thrived. Royal Knights, Fallen Angels, Salvation of a lost world, all of these themes present were familiar to Aaric, as he already read books on such topics. After quite some time had passed, Aaric noticed that he had consumed all his reading snacks and that the light was quite dim. He briskly walked towards a light switch and flip it on, illuminating the room. Returning back to the book, Aaric continued on page he was about to finish. Upon turning a page, his eye caught something: The Ten Legendary Warriors. Aaric was filled with awe and wonder as he read the lore of these warriors. After reading through the Warriors of fire, light, thunder, and wind, he reached the warrior of Ice.
“What a juxtaposition between appearances of these warriors! An adorable snow cub versus a intimidating polar bear!” Aaric thought. As he continued to read however, his focus became more fixated on the ice warriors. It was almost as if these characters were staring back at him. Aaric was suddenly pulled back into reality by a blinding streak lightning. In few moments, the lights flickered and finally turned off. Aaric sat there in the darkness and perceived that it was cold. He walked towards the fireplace, grabbed the firestarter, and lit the fire. After putting the protective screen in front of the fire place, Aaric went back to reading the book. He continued to flip through the pages, reading about water, earth, wood, and steel.
Aaric flipped the page. Immediately Aaric was filled with dread as he looked upon the description of warrior of darkness. He didn’t know when or where, but he felt a presence in the room. Aaric desired to look away from the book, but he couldn’t. His neck was like stone, and his eyes were fixated on the book, forcing upon him the information. Upon finishing long moments, he finished the page, and immediately, a humid and foul wind blew through the fireplace, extinguishing the fire. He was frozen in the darkness, unable to position his body into a curl nor move his vision to anywhere in the room.
*Click*
Beads of sweat began to travel from skin to floor. The presence was in front of him…
*KABOOM!!!* Aaric screamed as light flooded the room. Fear and shock were the main things going through his mind. Though he did not notice it, deep in his mind, Aaric gained an image: A dark ominous figure dressed in ghastly white, pointing a firearm towards his face. As Aaric slowly recovered from his shock, he noticed electronic sounds coming from behind him. Inch by inch, Aaric turned his head behind his chair. His father’s computer was on, flashing across the screen a myriad numbers, and threads of electricity licked the surroundings. Aaric did not think, nor could he. All he could do was to hold the tome firmly within his arms and slowly walk towards the screen. As he grew closer to the computer, the area around him became bright and brighter. The snakes of electricity jumped towards him, causing him to recoil slightly. Despite that, he slowly inched towards the computer, eventually noticing the words: “Your destiny has arrived.” The light became blinding.
Aaric stood there dazed. He felt the dampness and dimness of a cave, yet strangely the atmosphere was strangely calm, even serene. Aaric turned around. His grip loosened as he recognized the creature described in the book that he had just dropped.

Toshiro stood stunned. he had just been standing in his room after picking up the strange device he had found then there was a bright light and before he knew it, he was standing in a cave with a number of other people staring at a blue-skinned reptilian creature in gold armor.
"Good you're all here, At least most of you I fear the others have been taken by the dark forces at work here in the digital world." The creature said in a deep powerful voice. Toshiro found himself wondering how he spoke with his mouth covered like that. "I know this is strange but please hear me out. I am Magnamon, I am a part of a group called the Royal Knights. We serve the Digital World as its protectors. Recently an evil Digimon called Lucemon has returned and started taking over my world with the goal of taking over yours. Those devices you found are called D-Tectors and will be your primary way of fighting the evil forces against you. Each one contains a spirit of one of the ten legendary warriors. Their spirits will help you on your way by granting you the power to spirit evolve, But that power will only come if you prove yourself to the spirit within." HE explained noting all the looks of confusion on their faces. "I know you must be confused so if you have questions now is the time because there is a lot more to explain." He said looking around to the faces around him.

Meanwhile in the Dark Tower Lucemon looks to his three new generals and smiles handing them the three spirits he had recovered.
"My dear children take these and recruit yourself a champion. ShadowSeraphimon, you will take the spirit of Steel. Cherubimon, the spirit of Wood. And Lilithmon, the Spirit of Darkness. Go find easily corruptable humans and make them ours. Sow the seeds of evil within them." The blonde Demon Lord said with authority and amusement coating his voice.

Aaric Mitsaki

Aaric was dumb stricken. In front of him was a large, azure, reptilian humanoid standing in front of him, armed with golden armor at that! It began to talk. Immediately, Aaric’s mind began to race rapidly, bring up all manner of questions.

“Where am I? By what means was I transported here? What is that thing standing in front of me? How can it talk? Wait... I recognize that armor.” From his memory of the green tome, different descriptions, trivia, and illustrations flowed through his head. Though the creature was still giving his exposition, Aaric did not hear a single word for he was deep within thought.

“Those crude drawings depicted this creature. If that is the situation, then this humanoid must be… a digimon?” Aaric’s eyebrow furrowed as this thought went through his head. Although Aaric had read many, many fantasies, novels, and the sort, he had always established that they were mere fiction, something of the imagination. The green tome was also counted by Aaric as a fictional story. However, with the presence of the digimon in front of his own eyes, his own assumptions and the conflicting reality of the situation caused the gears of his mind to grind against each other. The digimon was almost done with talking.

“What…? This can’t be real. This must be a mere hallucination within my mind. I just need to wake up, to escape this fiction and come back to reality. This is just a mere...” Aaric’s mind immediately stopped when he finally noticed the condition of the digimon. The digimon was clutching the right side of its waist, and there were innumerable amount of scratches across the plating of the armor. It appeared to him that the digimon was only barely able to stand by using its tail to help support its own weight. Just by sensing the air of the atmosphere and by spontaneously recalling his library of knowledge, Aaric presumed that the digimon continued stand in order to keep its sense of dignity as well as preventing the other people present in the room from panicking and being discouraged. The digimon stopped its talking.

Aaric suddenly stepped forward and firmly asserted, “Please sit down. With your current condition, supporting yourself in that manner is highly unwise and dangerous.” @Keyblade87

Denki was stunned at what was going on. One moment he was home, then he found a strange device and no2 he was in a cave with a blue thing wearing golden armor that could apparently talk. Wait, did it call itself a Royal Knight and a Digimon? Then something else in what he said clicked and he spoke up. "You said others were taken?" he asked. "So do you mean other humans like ourselves were taken by this Lucemon? If so, then he may have my twin sister, and I have to get her back!"

Hanako Hayashi

Reminded of creatures from her nightmares, She reached up pinching her right shoulder but felt the pressure between her fingers. Knees starting to shake, frozen in place with a increasing heartbeat. Fingers balled into fists, narrowly focused on the Magnamon, receiving a second surprise when finally becoming aware of her surroundings, noticing all the others, most looking older than she did. The third when it started speaking, sounding like they’d been expecting them to arrive, like she had a choice in the matter. Stepping back and hearing Magnamon’s explaining, despite their protest to the contrary, she grasped her situation well enough.

“I’m not confused, but how am I supposed to care about a world of monsters I’ve never even known about…” Hanako thought.

Her eyes wandering about searching for exit and seeing others reactions. Watching two others approach the digimon, one sympathizing and the other proclaiming to get their sibling back. Becoming more relaxed, seeing them not being attacked. She covered up a cough with her arm, clearing her throat, taking several steps forward with her arms crossed, with a blank expression.

“Excuse me Magnamon, but you’ve clearly made a mistake. I’m nobody special and I know nothing about your world and why it should matter or how you expect me to do anything about it, when something your size can’t...and I don’t particularly like my world enough to want to save it...” Her tone was cold, looking down when speaking her last sentence.

Yuuji couldn't believe what the creature calling itself Magnamon told them. Okay the other world thing was understandable as they clearly were transported somewhere and animals like that didn't exist in the normal world but still. Before he could say anything the black haired girl brought up a good point about them not being not special, but went a bit too far when she mentioned not liking their own world. "Yeah we're just normal kids, how are we supposed to impress those spirits and why can't you or some other Digimon do it?"

Honestly though he was not a little excited about the chance to become a hero. Hell maybe they could take those Spirits back to their world and become superheroes or something that would be awesome.

While Hadyn still had no idea how he got in the Digital World, he had learned some things, including it's name, from the dimension's inhabitants. So far he had to say he liked the place, there was no police as far as he knew and plenty of interesting things to do. He was busy preparing to dive off a 32 feet cliff into a lake which he already knew was both deep enough and free of rocks, when a Digimon he had never seen before. It looked a human in green armor with silver and gold highlights and several bat wings two of which protruded from it's head.

ShadowSeraphimon had no desire to give up the Spirit of Steel, but knew better than to disobey Lucemon openly. So when he heard rumors of a reckless human who had somehow wandered into Digiworld he decided to hand the spirit over and hope that after the human fell Lucemon would allow him to use the power of the Spirit rather than entrust it to another weakling."Human, my master has chosen you to wield the power of the Legendary Warrior of Steel. Do you accept this honor?

Not understanding what ShadowSeraphimon was talking about but thinking it could be interesting Haydn decided to go for it. "Sure, why not?

“Do not worry about me,” Magnamon said holding up his palm towards Aaric. “My duty now is to impart onto all of you as much information as I can.”

Magnamon turned towards Denki. “Boy, restrain your zeal for your resolve. In your current ability, you do not possess the power to wrest your kin back from Lucemon forces. I summoned you.” Magnamon said shifting his stance towards all the children.

“And the rest of you to save our world. I believe that only through the power of humans that we’ll be saved from the forces of evil, like they had done in the past. Although, my master was doubtless that us Royal Knights would be capable to defeat Lucemon and his forces. I thought otherwise and went against the orders of my superior to summon you humans.” Immediately Magnamon groaned loudly due to the great pain, forcing him to lean against the wall of the cave. He slowly bowed his head to examine his wounds, without moving his head, he positioned his eyes towards the children.

“I think I am rightly justified to think so.” Magnamon closed his eyes in order to concentrate. Upon sensing the mental state of the humans, Magnamon knew what to say next.

“Do not despair, Digidestined. They’re Beast Spirits, similar to the spirits contained within your D-Tectors except more powerful, that exist within the Digital World. Although, I do not possess knowledge of the locations of these spirits, I am wholly confident that each of you children will be able to find these lost Spirits.” After brief silence, a small tremor suddenly shook the interior of the cave, causing some earth to fall overhead.

The ceiling of the cave began to crack and crumble, earth and rock tumbling down from the sides of the wall and boulders falling from the ceiling. Magnamon rushed towards the children and covered them from the falling debris. Clanks and tongs resounded from Magnamon’s armor as stone beat against the golden metal.

The tremors began to halt, the stone finished its descent, the dust settling, a voice and a clacking jaw could be heard throughout the cavity of the cave, “Khe! Khe! Khe! That should have done ‘em good alright!” A pair of yellow glowing eyes scanned the crater. “Ohhhh, and what do I spy with my two devilish eyes? A blue newt with a group of kiddies! Khe! Khe! Khe! Khe! Khe!”

Magnamon shook off the dust from his head and fiercely stared at the figure behind his severely scored mask. “You have no business here, SkullSatamon!

“Khe, Khe, Khe! I have all the reasons to be here Magnamon! Lucemon’s orders are to dissolve you and your 'digi-nowheres' into tiny digital bits! Ready or not, here I come!” SkullSatamon coiled himself back and shot himself towards Magnamon while laughing maniacally.

Within a blink of an eye, readied himself in a jumping position and launched himself towards Skull Satamon, causing the ground to slightly heave. “Magna Punch!”

“Skull Hammer!” As soon as both digimon’s attacks made contact, the air compressed and then expanded within an instant, causing a shockwave to blast throughout the whole area.

“Nail Bone!” From the end of SkullSatamon’s staff, a yellow light immediately protruded and hit the wounded spot on Magnamon’s waist. Magnamon yelled in pain and fell to the ground. A dark splotch on Magnamon’s side appeared and began to slowly spread throughout his body. SkullSatamon flapped his wings and slowly lowered to the ground towards the dying Magnamon.

“Khe, Khe, Khe! I expected to have more fun with you Magnamon!” SkullSatamon quickly swung his scythe towards Magnamon’s neck, stopping only centimeters away. “Any last words, lizard?”

“Yes,” Magnamon replied, causing SkullSatamon’s eyebrow to slightly raise and forming a grin. Mustering all his energy into one attack, off the top of his lungs, Magnamon yelled out, “Magna Explosion!” Suddenly blinding light engulfed both Magnamon and SkullSatamon.

The light eventually subsided, revealing an unconscious SkullSatamon and a strange little blue creature laying atop the rubble.

Toshiro ran over to the small blue creature and lifted him up.
"MAgnamon? you look different." He said picking him up and carrying him back toward the others. The unconscious creature in the cave began stirring and trying to get up. "Okay yeah we need to leave then we can ask questions." he said looking at the others and hoping they would agree
