I have ideas for a Berserker or Archer. I could take any other class instead, but I'd just be a canon servant in that case. I'm fine with playing my own master, unless someone really wants to swap.

Also, with the D&D magic system you're using, are the uses coming from a broader magical pool? Like, if I've expended all my uses of magic missle but still have 4/4 uses of the more powerful fireball, can I use magic missile some more?

I guess you can technically do that I never thought of it since for various reasons revolving around people dropping out quicker than Iskander drinks. But I would say only if it forms in a similar way to the magic in question. Like you can't take form water wall into use fire ball.

Also does anyone have any preference for what I should pick for my Saber? I was thinking about using Saber Jeanne (From during her war period not the burnt stake saint but she's aware of what she would become.) however if we need a strong hitter I can use Lancelot, or Fergus. We may need a really hard hitter, or power player. I'd use Mordred too but she seems out of place given she was in the Fate show this was based on.

For clarification: we can make 'oc' servants right? Of course, based on heroic figures-- but they necessarily dont have to have appeared in the anime...

@MigyudonYes you can make original servants however they must have an existing legend and cannot be fictional made of your own accord, or a part of another ficition such as Ryuko from kill la kill.

@vancexentanI'd vote for Lancelot just because I like him more, but you're the one playing the character. Although, would Jeanne still have that EX-ranked sudoku attack? Even if her master were a bleeding heart who wouldn't make her use it when a large enemy force appeared, is that too powerful?

@ManyThingsNo. The way I made Saber Jeanne has her gaining mana burst flame as a recount to that event of her burning at the stake but she looses her La Pucelle suicide attack. She's built more of being a defense tank. She's not a great swordsman but her skills make her hard to put down, and revelation lets her rip at your weak points.

@vancexentanWell then, it sounds like you've put some real thought into Saber Jeanne, so you should probably use her. Also, where do you stand on Servants who are alternate takes on Canon Servants?

@ManyThingsDepends on the character. Alters are unlikely to be included because they are cursed by 'all the world's evil' or something along those lines usually like Jeanne, or Artoria. However some servants like Kojiro Sasaki merely pick the character who fit the legend the most, and there's multiple versions of robin hood. However they would retain the skill set from canon because that is their legend.

In regard to Jeanne I have her already built. Also I've used Lancelot before as well.

@vancexentanBut what about servants with which the Fate series has taken some liberties? Some servants from Fate/GO, for instance, are often made fairly cartoonish and detached from their legend.

@ManyThingsIf you want to redesign their look that is fine with me. For example I, and many others, don't like how Saber Caesar is in F/Go. If you want to make some slight alterations to fit their legend better that is fine but it must have some sort of reason behind it.

How would you take some small addition to lore? Im planning to use a character who canonically didnt fight. However, her lore and personality wouldn't change. All I'll add is a weapon class for her

@vancexentanMy Berserker idea contains changes much more significant than appearance, to a character much more significant than Caesar. I suppose it's unlikely to be accepted in that case, although I might app it anyway. My Archer, fortunately, is a character who, as far as I'm aware, has yet to appear in any work of Fate.

I would like to point out you're calling Juilus freaking Caesar insignificant. This is the man who made Rome a major power more or less, and a major world figure. I heavily prefer to stick to canonized characters as it gives me a basis to work off of. If you feel archer would be a better pick than by all means try your hand at them.

Ah okay! I would preferably just want to play the master of anyone really, but if no one fills up the servant slots soon, I'll take Lancer.
