Helena was born and raised in Anchorage, being the only child of a physician and a teacher. When Helena was young, her father, Dr. White, accepted a job offer in Whittier. At first, his motives were unclear, and Helena as well as her mother were completely against the idea, but they soon gave in to him and the three of them moved to the small town.

At first, Helena had a bit of an adjustment issue. She would go straight home from school and would often ignore her classmates whenever they invited her to join them for whatever mayhem the kids decided to engage in that day. However, as the months passed, Helena soon found herself in their company and was rarely at home. This went on for years until it was time for Helena to go to college, where she would follow in her father's footsteps.

Eventually, when Helena made her way back home, she worked alongside her father for roughly 6 months before both of her parents died in a tragic accident. While she grieved, the mayor approached her to see whether she'd be okay to take on the responsibility of being the sole medical provider within Begich Towers. She accepted, and she's been in that role since then.

Small Biography
Fletcher was born in Seward, Alaska, to parents Jerry and Victoria, being of American and Swedish descent. He is the last of three siblings, ten years junior to his elder twin brothers Eddie and Joel. By the time they had had him, Fletcher's parents were approaching their mid-forties, his father working for the post office and his mother schooling his brothers from home. When he was three years old, his family moved north to Whittier, with the hope that a change of location might spark an improvement in their quality of life. Shortly after, Jerry was set up in a mail-sorting centre within Begich Towers. Whittier is the only home that Fletcher acknowledges, likely confusing much of his early memories.

Fletcher had always been a creative and studious child, but one whose teachers would often chastise for laziness and lack of ambition. When the time came to leave schooling behind, he chose a job he thought he could enjoy. Having grown up with pets around the home, he decided he'd become a dog walker, agreeing to escort some of his neighbours pooches on commission. Unable to move out on this meagre wage, he continues to live with his parents, who are all to happy to have company in the house, and someone to look after their own dogs when they're out.

While lacking any conviction or desire to put in any effort in progressing professionally, Fletcher possesses a feeling that something positive might just be around the corner. Something that might jolt him into activity. Who knows.

Everette was born and raised in Whittier. But surprisingly, it was the parents who left the nest, not the children. Ten years ago, Mr. and Mrs. James flew to greener (warmer) pastures with a one-way ticket to San Francisco.

They invited him and his siblings to come- one of his sisters and his brother leapt at the chance to leave their little town, but Everette refused to move from Whittier. City life scared him. He imagined the sounds, the cars, getting caught in the throngs of impatient people, crashing into larger throngs of more impatient people... It wasn't for him. He's safe and steady in Whittier. He has basic internet, he has a job, and he has a home.

He also has, arguably, too many guns. Everette was always a self-proclaimed "gun expert", but after his family left, he felt insecure. To hear him tell the story, you'd think they abandoned him to the wolves. His fascination with weapons grew after that. They made him feel stable, and they made him feel powerful.

Coral was born in Buena Vista, Georgia as the second daughter of Pastor Glenn Hardwick and his second wife, Melinda. Coral was raised in the church; her family attended church every Sunday, and participated in bible study on Wednesdays. They'd even made sure she had a spot on the youth praise dance team. Because she was raised in a very strict family, she didn't have much of a social life outside of church. She was not allowed to go out to parties, movies, dates or anything of the sort, as her parents thought that it would hinder her growth in the church. When Coral turned thirteen, however, she began to grow more rebellious and resentful towards her parents. She sneaked out whenever she had the chance, stopped participating as much in class, and even dropped out of the praise team. The thing that tipped her parents off the most, however, was when seventeen year old Coral brought home a girlfriend.

Glenn and Melinda clamped down on their daughter harder than ever, taking away most of her privileges. In their eyes, there was nothing worse than having a gay daughter. They wouldn't even hear the girl out when she tried to explain to them that she was not gay, but bisexual. As if that made things any better. Eventually, Coral graduated from high school with a solid C average and multiple college acceptance letters, but her parents absolutely refused to pay a dime towards her higher education. They'd even stopped acknowledging her presence in their home, doing petty things such as not setting a place for her at the table, only buying new things for her sister, etc. Coral was forced to get a job at the local coffee shop in order to support herself. The day she turned eighteen was the greatest day of her life; it was the day that she gathered up all the money she'd earned, packed up all of her belongings, and bought a bus ticket to Alaska.

Seven years later, and she is still working the same job she's been working since she was a teenager: a barista. Coral has not kept in contact with her parents over the years, but talks to her sister every now and then to catch up. She lives in room 1108 of The Begich Towers with her German Shepherd, Sarge.
