Chaos and confusion for the past fortnight, these damned higher lords have to the realm so damned backward it was a wonder if anyone knew what was going on anymore. First, it was Jon Arryn, who knows how the old man died. Secondly was King Robert the drunk being slain by a pig of all the creatures. Now Renly and Stannis are declaring as king, since Stannis declared that Joffrey was born of incestuous fruit from Queen Cersei and The Kingslayer. All the while The North is in open rebellion after Eddard Stark had his head removed from his shoulders.
The fields are being drained of food and coin because of the wars popping up like moles around us, with ravens coming in demanding our loyalty. Joffrey, Stannis or Renly it's a nightmare. It’s a mystery why I even have hair with these damned fools and their plays for power. I reckon I better take up the sword again, but for who?
On a lighter note, I have wed again ten years after Lucia’s death. While I miss my deceased wife, this young woman that I wed does keep me feeling youthful. Perhaps she should have been for my son and heir? Bah, I have several young ladies coming to court him, he should find a nice woman that should satisfy his loins or at the very least keep the family name going. But the King business is keeping me up too much as of late, perhaps a drink will clear my thoughts.

While weakening the giant lands of the Ironborn. For his efforts and loyalty, Ser Radford Lashton became Lord Lashton and was given Ash Falls, a castle in disuse since it bordered the Crownlands, Vale, and Riverlands. Taking a humble wife and a few hundred people the castle grew out of disuse and the town flooded with people shortly as harvests were growing exponentially. The castle named aptly after the waterfall it neighbors with it plethora ash tree’s nearby.
Since the Radford was fond of hawks he took it as his sigil, a brown hawk over a field green that was gripping a fish. Which some river lords still don’t like, but its history now and apart of the Lashton name. Their words are : [i][b]Hawk eyed and ready[/i][/b]
Lord Gerald Lashton and his sons Renault and Carlton followed the crown during Robert’s Rebellion, loyalty a rare commodity fought under Rhaegar’s banner. Following him until the beloved prince’s death to Robert. A prince wasn’t the only casualty of war, as the Lashton name was destroyed from the history books as Renault’s father and brother died in that battle. Leaving Renault battered and nearly broken, losing two fingers on his right hand along with several prominent scarring in his side by arrow fire. Renault has ruled Ash Falls since his father’s death, losing one wife and taking another. He and his house are being thrust into another catastrophe, what will happen to them all?[/b]

This will follow house Lashton a fictional House in ASOIAF shortly after Robert’s death and the beginning of the Clash of Kings. I figured this would be roughly the best to start and thought it would provide the best start date. You can be any person you want from a relation to Renault to the cooks in the kitchen it’s your preference. Just need to be able to add to the story. I'm working on my character but I will give some specfics in my character sheet for you to start yours.
