I have but only four characters who I truly maintain, though I have had others in the past. They have either all finished their story arcs or have been put on hold for the four primary ones to carry out their interests. Uniquely, in almost no circumstance have any of these characters ever been found in an actual roleplay, as I do not try to wedge characters in, rather I attempt to dynamically develop one for each game I find myself in to best fit the world and its theme.

Even with peppy and upbeat songs, I always manage to interpret them in such a way that I give them a dark meaning.

i've written 3 books, all around 3 years ago, and haven't published one since. writer's block is hell

my fourth book is done but the editor is taking forrrrever to get to it. did i pay 400 dollars just so i can wait 2-3 months for her to edit it all in the span of 2 days? i don't think i'm going to request her services anymore. all she wants is money. her editing work is ok.

my fifth book is getting to the finish line. i started my fifth book 2 years ago and then stopped working on it to start and finish my fourth book

Whenever I try writing anything outside of roleplaying, I tend to grow bored and sidetracked. Maybe it is something to do with the collaborating that comes with roleplaying.

Yesterday I subbed in the Resource room at the local High School. This is for students on IEPs who have trouble in certain subjects. Many of the students are preparing for a test on the Cold War in their history class; a subject firmly planted in my "wheel house". I have a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a concentration on International Relations with the Soviet Union...and then the wall fell. I also served in Germany in the US Army in the 1980s getting a first hand perspective of the Cold War in Europe. Other than that, I've been reading military history books and articles for over 43 years.

all my novels are military science fiction stories set in the far distant future. in particular, i'm obsessed with space battleships and wars that happen in space in general. there's a special niche in military science fiction, which my books occupy, which is called space fleet. all my books are space fleet heavy military science fiction novels.
i love writing and infodumping and talking about issues like strategy, tactics, imaginary defenses and weaponry related to space wars, in particular space warships or fighter combat or space carriers.... missile warfare,
i love designing space combat systems, which makes my novels unique as often (but not always), i come up with unique space combat mechanics. most of the time, this is determined how ships move, how they fire at each other, how warships in space handle faster than light. i love multi-star system wars, so handling ftl is must for my books.

Luna_Maria, if you ever want to have a conversation on this subject or a 1x1 RP in this genre, let me know. I am there. I am also writing a novel that includes space traveling war ships, but my focus is on a Special Operations Team assigned to one of the warships. I dont' want to copy your stuff, but we may be able to collaborate in this genre. It is one I enjoy also. I have been working on my novel for several years. I don't get a lot of time to write, but do have over 62,000 words written.

I got your PM after waking up, but I have no time to respond right now. It might be a day before I respond. The book I'm writing is still here. I just have no time to write.

“When a great thinker despises men, it is their laziness they despise: for it is on account of this that they have the appearance factory products and seem indifferent and unworthy of companionship or instruction. The human being who does not wish to belong to the mass must merely cease being comfortable with himself; let him follow his conscious which shouts at him: 'Be yourself! What you are at present doing, opining, and desiring, that is not really you.'”
Nietzsche

Perhaps no truer expression for the sum of my experiences can be made than this. The first component, the notion of the laziness of man, is something I despise right to my core; that people are complacent and ill to be moved. The second of these truths is that beyond any shadow of doubt, it is entirely my experience that to be who and what I am now, to have been actualized to some extent, I needed to cease being comfortable with myself and the thoughts that what I was told do, believe, and want in life, that none of it was ever truly me. Only when I freed myself from those things and accepted the discomfort of it all that I began to really understand anything at all. What an illusion and a lie I had lived, one I managed to escape from only by personal study and great trial.

3 brothers. All younger.

Being the eldest always bears its fruit first, ripening with age, spoiling any delicacy if the season has past, without any current progeny of this fraternal vine to yield its own hundred fold.

2 sisters one is younger and the other (3 years younger then me) passed a month after birth. I was also supposed to have a twin sister who passed in my mom's stomach so she passed prebirth

As part of an investment portfolio, I allocate resources into precious metals, namely gold and silver. Shiny rocks they might be, people have a strange obsession with them and I tend to prefer planning for the long run of life, decades in advance. That said, it is a surprisingly surreal experience to see just what the object is and what value it holds in turn; how something so little, so relatively lacking in true applicable value, holds such great influence.

I find myself listening to creepy music box melodies which are a surprisingly common thing on YouTube.
