C O N C E P T A B S T R A C T

Take #2 – this time with direction, and plot! Wally’s a young guy who’s still trying to figure out his own identity as the Flash. He hung up his Kid Flash ‘stume around three years ago, becoming the third Flash with Barry’s (who’s alive and well, ready to be picked up) blessing. Graduating into Titans seniority, he juggles his time as a leader and mentor to the younger heroes with his own heroic duties, as well as his job as an assistant mechanic at S.T.A.R. Labs. Maybe it’s because of this that he feels like his relationship with Linda is on shaky ground – with his life so hectic and often unpredictable, he wonders if there’s any room left for her. He loves her, yes... but is that enough? Ultimately, I want to try my hand at fun character-driven stories that’ll see Wally come into his own as the Scarlet Speedster, with plenty of action, romance and superheroic craziness.

ALLIES AND FRIENDS

Iris Ann West-Allen – Known to Wally as Aunt Iris, she’s been a mother to him ever since he was a kid, spending time with him when his parents neglected him. A successful and well-known journalist, much of her prosperity is owed to her investigative and civics pieces – as a prominent voice in Central City, she’s one of its most publicly known citizens, almost (but not quite) as well known as Metropolis’ Lois Lane.

Linda Park – Wally’s girlfriend of four years, Linda works as a reporter at WKEY Channel 4 News. She is well aware of his activities as the Flash.

Barry Allen // The Flash (II) – Wally’s mentor and uncle, Barry’s the second person to take on the identity of the Flash. He now happily shares the name with Wally, believing his nephew to own it just as much as he does. ^{AVAILABLE FOR PLAY – HAPPY TO DISCUSS}

Bart Allen // Kid Flash – Barry’s grandson, Bart hails from the future. Having inherited the Allen family’s speed, he’s a junior member of the Titans, and has been since he first arrived at present day.

Jason “Jay” Garrick // The Flash (I) – The original Flash, Jay’s connection to the Speed Force has allowed him to live far longer than his beloved wife, Joan. Having lived through more than most, he’s a ninety-nine year-old source of boundless wisdom, making it through World War Two, Vietnam, and the rise of metahumanity, as well as helping found the Justice Society – and he only looks like he’s in his early sixties. Wally’s personal hero since childhood, he’s always there when the young West needs some guidance.

Dick Grayson // Nightwing – Wally’s best friend since he first started out as Kid Flash. Fellow field team leader of the Titans. ^{PLAYED BY @INK BLOOD}

Roy Harper // Arsenal – Wally’s other best friend since he started out with the Teen Titans. Fellow Field team leader of the Titans. ^{AVAILABLE FOR PLAY – HAPPY TO DISCUSS}

Artemis Crock // Artemis – A former Titan, and Wally’s ex-girlfriend. Artemis is a master archer and talented hero in her own right – and also the daughter of one of the world’s most notorious assassins. Her and Wally ended things... badly.

Joseph “Joe” West – Great grandpa Wallace West’s second son, the result of a drunken affair with an African American woman. Raised by Wallace and his wife, Joe was treated well, adored by his half-brother, William. At the age of forty, Joe took in his brother and his niece, Iris, after the former was crippled by his youngest child, Daniel. Daniel had run away after the incident. Joe is a captain at the C.C.P.D., and was a good friend and ally to Barry. He supports Wally as the Flash, proud of the path his great-nephew is taking.

Wallace Joseph “Wally Joseph” “Joey” West – The product of a teen fling, Wally Joseph was named after his great grandfather, Wallace, and great uncle, Joe – Daniel West’s idea of thanking Joe for taking Iris in after he crippled their father. At fifteen, Joey is in Iris and Barry’s care, as Daniel is an absentee father/supervillain and probably not a suitable caretaker for his son.

ENEMIES

Eobard Thawne // Reverse Flash (I) – Nora Allen’s murderer, the original Reverse Flash. An extremely powerful speedster, and the personification of Wally’s nightmares.

Daniel West // Reverse Flash (II) – Wally’s uncle, Daniel turned to crime at an early age after he ran away from home. Gifted a connection to the Speed Force by Thawne, he let his vendetta against his abusive father turn into one against Barry and his nephew after they stopped him from killing William. His mind has since twisted into something unrecognisable, consumed by the power he holds.

The Rogues – Led by Captain Cold, the Rogues are a group of mercenaries and thieves powered by an assortment of tech. Thorns in the Flashes’ sides.

Grodd – A telepathic gorilla who rules over the hidden Gorilla City in the African plains. A damn ruthless, bloodthirsty, dirty ape.

Lawrence Crock // Sportsmaster – Artemis’ father. A hockey mask wearing, ex-League of Shadows assassin wanted in most countries by most law enforcement agencies.

A latina American with no extraordinary trait to her name. Not the smartest, not the prettiest, not the most creative. Worked hard, went to school at night, went to church on the weekends, free time spent with family. Her father turned her into a nerd with his fascination with Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, comic books, detective books, horror movies. Her family caught in a shootout at a state park, Jessica should've died, would've died if not for that ring. Volthoom's Ring found her, and although the two would struggle, Jessica would eventually learn to control the power ring and help to defeat Darkseid's forces. In victory the power ring of Volthoom melted--into Jessica's hand. What, if any, remnants of the ring remain a mystery.

Jessica knew it was gone, a fact seemingly proven when a Green Lantern ring soon found her. Her training was quick lived, as opportunity met an eager Jessica, naive and unaware of the consequences of her actions. She screwed up, and it cost people their lives. The Guardians simply re-assigned her, giving her a cover identity and working her under cover into an interstellar organized crime syndiate with a focus on death rituals, and end of days prophecy. Jessica saved more than a few galaxies at the end of the case, it just cost her a few deep stab wounds and some plasma burns, to say nothing of profound affects on her mind and spirit and body.

Satisfied with her work the Guardians allow her to pick her next beat: to the surprise of many the Earthling doesn't ask to go back to Earth, she asks for a roaming patrol located far from her home planet.

Someone, something, is murdering lanterns of all kinds and colors. One victim at a time Jessica and her newly assigned partner, Hal Jordan, will realize they're in a dark and scary place. This trail of death eventually leads Jessica back into the path of her old running buddies--the syndicate of death and the end of all. Desperate for the right lead, Jessica resurrects her old cover identity, putting herself in intense danger as Volthoom makes a return at the very worst of best times.

Will be working on finishing up a Kara post in the afternoon. Been overdue and I missed a few deadlines, but well... I fucked up. Basically.

Ok guys I'm thinking three characters in mind: Danielle Baptiste from Witchblade (this version is basically kinda like Black Widow in that she was a ballerina that is now a spy instead of a cop plus the Witchblade and she will probably be the FIRST Witchblade either retconning Sarah Pezzini completely out for Dani having a very confusing and convoluted relationship with Sarah or Sarah exists but the two switch orders when they get the blade), Bobbi Moorse AKA Mockingbird (I'm thinking this one is a divorced mom and would have... misadventures and could pull characters into wacky hijinks in a more light hearted way or Dazzler from X-Men (this version is less of a singer only and more of a triple threat in acting and possible dancing)

Dr. Barbara "Bobbi" Morse ♦ June 17 ( 36 ) ♦ Female ♦ Heroic

Ω C O N C E P T A B S T R A C T:
Bobbi hasn't changed that much in the Absolute Universe. However one major thing has... her unborn child isn't dead and she gave birth to a healthy baby girl who is now approaching 7 named Kira. Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye is in Kira's life, however his job as a superhero makes him... inconsistent when it comes to seeing Kira's milestones in life (he was there when Bobbi gave birth to her though). Bobbi has been injected with the Infinity Formula/Super Soldier Serum cocktail that was given to her in the comics but that was after she had Kira so Kira is a baseline human. Bobbi while not retired from conventional superheroism is on a part-time schedule as she wants to be there for Kira.

Ω P L O T M O C K - U P:
Cry Fowl: Kira has been kidnapped by someone probably HYDRA or AIM to see if she really is a baseline. Bobbi is driven to rescue her, however much like in her most recent comic book line, she is still kinda under medical examination so she would need help so she makes the rounds to see who would team up with her. This is for a more action based story with Bobbi

Agent 19 No More: Bobbi wants out but realizes she needs a successor. Due to her new augmented status, she realizes she needs to find someone who's truly cut out for her line of work. So she scouts to find anybody who can match or best her. This storyline is the middle ground for action and drama. Plus this is perfect for players who are playing younger characters ala Damien Wayne, Speedy or any other teen superhero that could benefit from fight training.

A Heart Divided: Bobbi is a SHIELD agent in name only now. She's retired and is raising Kira almost full time (SHIELD probably is paying her a good healthy retirement check), however Bobbi is a woman with needs and gets back into the dating pool, with all the problems a divorced over 35 woman entails. This is if Bobbi wants to go far more dramatic than action based and be more soap opera, action would be sparse but meaningful. This RP will also focus more on Bobbi's underutilized science acumen than physical fighting skills.

Ω N O T E S:
This Bobbi may be older, but she sure isn't a jaded cynic. She's still passionate about life her priorities just changed. While Bobbi's still kinda like a female Matt Murdock romantically. She doesn't bring home bad boys, she's experienced in relationships and being handsome doesn't override her common sense. She has no mid-life crisis, she just has aspirations. Her altered state due to the cocktail Fury gave her is still new to her.

Me as a woman who wants kids but realizes she can't or it will be difficult While Bobbi may not have Baby Fever per say, the fact she now has an altered physiology has made the question: "Is she still fertile?" pop up more than a few times. Plus if A Heart Divided comes into play a standard question for women of any pre-menopausal age is "Do you want kids or want another?" Not only is this post my best work so far, it is one of the closest you can get to what this Bobbi would be like.

Me doing dialogue in a kinda Whedon way I'm not THAT proud of this but I think the dialogue range from humorously fun, compassionately flirty to jaded jerk is fitting.
