So welcome all to The City of the Dead, a freeform dark fantasy RP heavily inspired by Dark Souls (as if that wasn't obvious enough). You play the role of a 'newly dead', a person who had died long before the plague ravaged the city, and for some odd reason, you are alive once more. It is up to you to find out why your home fell to this terrible disease, and to stop it from spreading. Along the way, you will encounter terrible monsters and even a few boss fights, cause it wouldn't be a Souls inspired RP without epic and gruelling boss fights. Furthermore, there will be NPCs generated by me that may, or may not, give you valuable information. That said, you are free to explore this world, but beware. You'll never know what's lurking behind the corner.
That's right, as GM, I have the power to conjure forth unspeakable evils and random events that will test your mettle. These events will appear at random too, so be on your toes.
That said, welcome players, and Prepare to Die...again! Get it? Cause you're already dead and uh.... I'll see myself out. <.<
To begin, just post a picture of your character along with your name and a short intro in the IC. Just make sure you include being resurrected. Oh and one more thing! I know this is freeform, but be reasonable, you're not gonna be some big, hulking brute who can crush heads like the Mountain. The point of this game is survival and exploration of a world gone to shit, not your power fantasy.
