[OOC] Pokemon Colosseum: Lesser of Two Evils

Team Rocket

Possibly the most infamous criminal organization in all of Kanto and Johto. Known for stealing almost any Pokemon they can find, hated by almost everyone from the two regions that they have terrorized. For many years, they held Kanto and Johto in a steel grip before a mysterious trainer managed to drive them out of Kanto. Three years after that, they were driven out of Johto by another mysterious trainer and were thought to have disbanded entirely.

Cipher

An organization shrouded in mystery. Known for starting the Shadow Pokemon incident Eight years ago before being taken down and having their Shadow Pokemon rescued by a redeemed member of a group of thieves called Team Snag'em. They returned five years after their first defeat only to be taken down once again. The People of Orre finally feel they can live in peace.

They're wrong.

Rumors of men and women dressed in black suits have began to spread throughout Orre along with rumors of people appearing to wear the suits favored by Cipher. What has many people confused is the one fact that remains constant in each rumor: The two groups seem to be fighting each other. Despite the obvious threat from Cipher, many citizens believe these are simply small gangs battling over territory, not recognizing either group for the threat they are. Despite the danger of the Orre region, many new trainers and other travelers have arrived in Orre, either to warn others about the dangers of Team Rocket, to catch new Pokemon or simply travel. There is only one truth to this battle between evil.

Whoever wins. Orre loses.

Working on my character now. How are we handling Pokemon? Like do we care about levels? Are we limiting it to four moves? If we do care about levels, around what level do you want us to start at?

Pokemon can learn more than four moves.
And I plan on having the players and their Pokemon gain experience as they go along. Players are urged to start at either early to moderate experience. I don't want players starting off being at an experience level equal to the Elite four. Because Orre is somewhat harsh terrain I think players should start off at a level close to what one would expect after beating their first gym leader.

History: RJ was born and raised in Mauville city. His parents worked for Wattson maintaining the power plant. RJ was
always around pokemon. He loved to play up and down Route 110 with his friends. One day while doing a bit of fishing a
strange man in strange blue clothes interrupted RJ mid catch spooking him causing him to lose his pole. The man went on
about how RJ should respect water pokemon and their home, and that one day he might regret not doing so. After that
encounter RJ pleaded to his parents for a pokemon to protect him. A few days later he received an egg from Wattson. It
was a gift after hearing the couple talking about it at work. RJ was ecstatic. He did everything to raise the egg right.
He read books, watched tutorials, and even took a tour at the pokemon daycare center. After weeks of hard work RJ was
rewarded with an adorable female Electrike. He named her Trina. RJ and Trina were inseperable. They played together, they
ate together, and even slept together. They were instant friends. Then when RJ had come of age to start his journey
tragety struck. RJ's parents passed away in a car accident caused by a rampaging storm the Legendary Kyogre had started.
So now without parents permission RJ was stuck to the immediate area of Mauville. Even after it was revealed in their
will that Wattson was named guardian he felt it better that RJ take a mourning period. Years later after working under
Wattson for so long and enjoying himself RJ had nearly forgotten his urge to travel. That was until one day after making
a delivery he saw an ad on the side of the Pokemon Center. It was for the Collosseum in the Orre region calling for all
challengers young and old from all over. The next day RJ had his bag packed and the cruise ticket bought. He couldn't wait.

Class: punk girl
Starting region: Kanto/Lavender Town
Appearance:
Personality: Quirky, and very straight forward, tends to be sarcastic, and very cold and untrusting of other people.
History: Circe grew up hearing stories from her mother about how her father had ran off and joined Team Rocket when she was a baby. Her family became a bit of a pariah in her town. Young Circe spent a lot of time in Lavender Town Tower, where. Most children her age we're to afraid to go to torment her. She played well into the night with the ghost pokemon found within the building, especially the Ghastly. When she became older the other children became more vicious towards her for her father's involvement for Team Rocket. One day after school they chased her through town trying to use their family's Pokemon to hurt her, as the sun set they cornered her at the base of the Tower. As their pokemon attacked when piercing screams tore across the night. A group of Ghost pokemon saw what was happening and came to rescue their friend. The other children terrified of the Ghosts ran home to their parents. As she became older a Ghost pokemon could always be found with her, usually hidden in her shadow. Eventually a radio company bought the tower and the Ghost pokemon had no where to go, Circes mother invited them to live in their house but most decided to move on to a more wild habitat. A young Ghastly stayed behind and became Circes Pokemon on her tenth birthday, they explored the routes around their town, eventually finding an Elekid, which they added to their team. And while on a beach vacation the team found an egg. When they came home her father was waiting for them, the mother kicked him out for abandoning them for years. Eventually he ran off mentioning the Orre region where he was trying to take them. Circe decided the next day she was going to follow her father to the mysterious region and defeat him in battle and turn him over to the police herself.

Here's that Team Rocket grunt we discussed me having. Meant to have it up sooner, but I've been busy.

Team Rocket's Secret Weapon

Name: Dilan Winters

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Class: Team Rocket Grunt

Starting Region: Kanto

Appearance:

Dilan stands at about 5' 9" with a lean build. He has long pink hair which covers his left eye, the eye you can see is crimson in color. Wears the typical Team Rocket uniform. When undercover he wears jeans, black hiking boots, a white tee shirt, and a dark green zip up hoodie. When in disguise, he wears his hair up in a pony tail, but normally he keeps it loose.

Personality: Dilan is an extremely friendly person, one of those people that's easy to approach and to talk to. The type of person that is easy to trust. The quiet one that you would never think would betray you. At least, that's how he appears on the surface. Cunning, incredibly smart, and manipulative are what his true colors show. He knows how to read people, how to use them, and how to destroy them. He'll take everything you love and use it tear you apart. He may pretend to be the loveable idiot, but he is neither loveable, nor an idiot.

History: Nobody is certain how long Dilan has been a member of Team Rocket, or why he joined the organization in the first place. They just know that he's the guy who gets sent in when things need a delicate touch. The takeover of Silph Co was his responsibility. He's one of Giovanni's right hand men, a grunt only because it makes him stand out less. Nobody finds a single Rocket grunt to be scary, or a threat. Think of him as a Team Rocket's grifter, or spy, or ninja, whatever you prefer. Some say that he's the true boss of Team Rocket, but they would be very wrong. Dilan's loyalty to Giovanni is incredibly strong, so strong in fact that he would betray Team Rocket in a heartbeat if the man were ever to leave.

Name: Daniel Cross

Starting region: Johto
Appearance:
Personality: Cheerful and bright most of the time. When it comes to Team Rocket though, her personality takes a rather angry and cold turn.
History: Daniel Cross was born in the Johto region and for the most part had a pretty normal childhood. At age 13, she received her first Pokemon, a Chikorita and journeyed across the Johto region not as a trainer who wished to challenge the gyms but rather to just have an adventure with Pokemon that she could befriend.

After traveling the Johto region for nearly a year, she had a few encounters with Team Rocket who she grew to despise after meeting a number of trainers who had had their Pokemon stolen from them by the villainous organization. It was after that incident at the Goldenrod Radio tower where it was announced that Team Rocket had disbanded that she made a decision on what she wanted to do. She knew that eventually Team Rocket would return as they had in the past so she decided that she would follow every lead on Team Rocket, be it a fact or if it would turn out to be a rumor and travel to other regions to warn them of Team Rocket. It was a year later that she heard rumors of black suited men and women heading for the Orre region that she began her journey towards the Orre region.

Yeah, here's my CS. I got called into work while I was in the middle of it.

Agent Shadow

Name: Brutus (Codename: Shadow)
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Class: Team Rocket Grunt
Starting region: Johto
Appearance:

Personality: Agent Shadow, as he is known within the ranks of Team Rocket, is a calm and collected individual. Even in the face of loss and the ruination of his plans, he manages to keep his emotions in check. However, despite how he may try to appear, Brutus does have a small part of him that wonders how his life would've been different if he hadn't joined Team Rocket. This has led him to develop a nihilistic outlook on life. Since he has decided that his only course is to work for Team Rocket, Brutus has devoted himself fiercely to Giovanni and Team Rocket.
History: Brutus was practically born and raised by Team Rocket, since his parents had joined the group in their teens. As a young boy, Brutus showed an aptitude for both apathy and Pokémon battling. To that end, his parents basically groomed him to follow in their footsteps. This alienated Brutus from many of his school friends. While Brutus was in training, Team Rocket was driven out of Johto by a mystery Trainer. However, the Team continued to secretly work in the background. When Brutus was recruited, he quickly rose through the ranks of the Grunts. Now, having been stationed in the Orre Region, Brutus (or Agent Shadow, as most people know him) is one of the highest-ranking Grunts.
