Shitenhoji Academy one of the largest escalator schools located in Japan. Often it was also considered one of the most premier but to most however unlike schools such as Kuoh who focused majorly on academics Shitenhoji was different and boasted high marks in both athletics and Arts. As the school bell rang to end the day students of all sorts left and began their after class clubs. Shitenhoji Academy made it a requirement that students join clubs or a committee as to better themselves and gain knowledge and skills that will aid them even out of the academy. This was often enforced strictly with the student council checking to make sure each student was at least part of one club.

Ixveria looked around leisurely spinning in what appeared to be a overly large office char with a large back. It made it somewhat comical to a outside viewer and she was sure that some of her peerage watching the scene was chuckling to themselves being the right bastards that they were at times. Either way she was bored and it was showing as she quickly placed yet another sweet into her mouth. Yes to the school Ixveria was the local sweet nut and also president of what was on paper a help group aimed to help students and others with their needs. This front helped with gaining clients for her peerage who was mostly gathered in the room. Dimitri being the flirt he was shown rubbing his cheek a red imprint of a hand clearly seen on his face. While Amelia being one of her youngest members was off in corner of the couch with her recent member Nora facing adjacent of her. Auriola was in the kitchen she had added so she could get easier access to sweets baking a cake of sorts to welcome the new member. Haku however was being his normal self as she saw him entering that left the supposed "supervisor" of the club Izumi though considering his role as a new teacher she was sure he would arrive soon.

Auriola

"Happy...what could this day be called? Devil-Day? Demonbirthday? No, all too ominous..." Auriola pondered quietly, spreading a layer of powdered sugar onto the double layered chocolate icing-stuffed sponge cake she'd been making since classes ended. A blank expression rested on the artificial humanoid's face as she thought on what to write on the top in vanilla frosting...perhaps simply "Welcome Nora" would suffice, but it still bothered her that she didn't have the creativity for a new holiday for inducting new peerage members. From what Ixveria had described, it seemed the new girl had a rough time with her death...dying by one's own manifesting power winds up being a confusing mess the day you're resurrected.

Simply writing out "Welcome!" in the creamy white frosting, Auriola felt that cake would be satisfactory...though she'd have to make sure everyone got a piece before Ixveria. Usually her piece wound up being about half the cake for just the sugar...it honestly surprised her how eager she'd be to suck down something even with powdered sugar on top. That aside, the robotic maiden's hair suddenly pulled up into two twin tails, her right arm's mass congealing into a giant metallic blade, sharpened to perfection. "Hehe...Just leave this to me~" she chimed happily, personality suddenly shifted to that of a bubbly schoolgirl who just happened to be a death bot.

Now that the Chastity Driver was active, her gargantuan sword arm slowly descended upon the cake, her tongue pushed out of her lips and up as she concentrated. If she could sweat, she would be right about now. With the platter only SLIGHTLY cracked in half, Chastity Auriola beamed, sword arm transforming back to normal as she put her hands on her hips. "Mm! Mhm! Absolutely perfect! Nora's gonna live it~" she said, before her hair suddenly fell back into its straight style. "Operation complete. she said, starting to place the pieces of perfectly sliced cake onto plates.

"You could call it a Rebirth Day, Auriola." Amelia said from the couch, looking up from her sketch pad just as her robotic friend, used rather loosely here as Amelia was unsure how she felt about Auriola, used a knife that was way too big to cut the cake with as much precision as possible. The sight was rather comical and managed a provoke the beginnings of a smile from the young Dhampir before she returned to her drawing, popping a caramel cream candy into her mouth from the pile nearby. After Ixy, Amelia had the biggest sweet tooth in the group, though she wasn't nearly as bad as their king. For now, she was patiently waiting to see what they would get up to while making a sketch of their newest member, Nora, who was sitting nearby. She paid no mind to the other members in the room, save to throw a caramel cream to Ixy when their King asked for one in exchange for one of Izy's candies, and Dimitri, who she had to resist rolling her eyes at when the stupid vampire came in with a slap-mark on his face. The idiot never seemed to learn, did he?

Nora Evans

When Amelia had first begun her sketch of Nora, the newborn devil reacted by staying perfectly still so as to avoid messing up the young artist. Though she had no idea she was the subject of the piece, the modest girl believed that it must be something next to her or behind her. After all, she wasn't that interesting right?

Her attempts to remain still though would be ruined when the peerage's resident android would turn her arm into a large sword, most likely capable of cutting through a person like a hot knife through butter. Letting out a quiet yelp of surprise, Nora's body reacted on its own as she made a small jump in her seat. She wasn't afraid of Auriola or what she was planning do with such a big blade, it was simply a surprise to see someone's arm suddenly become a weapon.

Once Auriola had finished cutting her cake and placing it on plates for the peerage to eat from, the blond teen awkwardly asked the robot girl, "I-is this really for me?" She hadn't expected the group to be so welcoming to her introduction. She hadn't expected hostility either, but... Honestly, she didn't know what she should have expected walking into this. Being a reincarnated devil was a completely foreign idea to her.

Hakuryu had been listening albeit sporadically. He'd spent most of his time free time trying to decorate the room as best as possible for their newest member. In all honesty, he wasn't the best with things like this. And he'd had a little time to finish before Nora actually arrived because of how many sports team members had stopped him on the way. It was the same every day ever since he'd become a devil. Still, even as he'd been resting, going over his training in his head, something caught his ear.

"Rebirth Day huh?" He questioned softly, his eyes perking up as he hopped to his feet from the chair he'd been sitting in. He'd taken a more relaxed form of dress. He'd removed his tie, unbuttoned his shirt halfway, rolled up the sleeves. He leaned over the couch, peering over Amelia's shoulder to look at her drawing. "It's coming out really nice." He said with a small smile, his face probably a little too close for Amelia's comfort. His gaze shifted from the art to Nora and then back before he stood up straight again. He tilted his head to the left and then the right with a soft popping sound. He took a breath. He was a bit bored. Though that could easily be remedied by trying to get to better know the newest member of the peerage.

So, Haku strolled around the couch to stand before Nora. He crouched in front of her to get a little closer to eye level tilting his head to the right again, though this time almost as if to inspect his comrade. "I feel like I know you. Do we have any classes together?" He asked in a calm tone. "I feel like I'd remember somebody as pretty as you." To anyone who didn't know Hakuryu it would seem as though he was flirting. IN fact, this was his usual demeanor. He didn't mean anything as a form of advancement toward the opposite sex. "Of course, you could just be the type to lay low. Or fade into the background." He tilted his head to the left.

"Regardless of any of that... Happy Rebirth Day. I'm happy you've joined the peerage, Nora." He said after a brief moment of silence. "Feel free to rely on me for anything you need." He added with a bright smile in typical Hakuryu fashion.

'Tch, the nerve on that woman...' Dimitri von Aleron sighed in disapproval, left alone to rub his left cheek. This was mostly in a somewhat vain effort to hide the large red imprint of a hand having struck said cheek; were it not for the inside of it being caught on the tip of his enlarged canine fang, the slap itself wouldn't have really hurt in the slightest. Still, it served as source of humiliation for Dimitri. No doubt the other girls in the Art Club would consider Dimitri a bell-end for trying his hand with the student council president of all people... especially considering all the other guys had preemptively decided they weren't good enough for her.

In any case, there was point in him not showing up just because his pride had taken some damage. He entered somewhat casually for someone who'd taken a bitch slap to the face and, seemingly having taken that in his stride, taken the time to observe what was going on inside the Arts Club. The King of peerage Dimitri was in, Ixveria Naberius, was trading candies with an Amelia Averyonna, who suddenly showed a look of disgust in her eyes the moment she caught sight of Dimitri. It was hard to tell what Amelia ever thought of Dimitri since the two never really got along, although this instance he had to assume that, unsurprisingly, she'd be one of the girls that'd considered him a bell-end for his failed attempt with the student council president. Not wanting to dwell on that incident, Dimitri moved on.

The only other happening of interest was that Auriola, the resident robot, had made a cake, seemingly for a tall, blonde-haired woman that happened to be at her side, and cutting it into slices. One with think that the ridiculously large sword that Auriola had used to cut the cake would strike more of an oddity to Dimitri... but in truth, he was more curious about what was written on the cake itself.

"Welcome... Nora... Ah, new arrival," Dimitri noted, recalling there was indeed meant to be someone having a rebirth day today, and turning to the tall woman that he correctly assumed was the newcomer to the peerage, "Greetings, and welcome to our peerage. Dimitri von Aleron, at your patronage."

Now that the slap to the cheek wasn't bothering him as much, he used that hand to bow, completing his formal introduction. He was always good with those; they were the one thing he got right with his first impressions around women. The rest of it was always hit or miss... and in the case of the student council president, it was a very big miss indeed...

Auriola

"Rebirth...day." The gear woman said, mulling it over in her head for a second before realizing just how perfect that saying fit. "Thank you, Amelia. From now on, I will bake the cakes with "Rebirthday" in mind." she said in addition, turning back with a faint, appreciative smile to the Dhampir. This would also be backed up with a big slice of cake, a silver fork impaled into the side.

Turning to Nora, Auriola's eyes looked a bit saddened. "Of course...it is the least I could do." she said, clearly saddened about something. Despite being reincarnated into a devil, her core programming still recognized Nora as a human...and one that she hadn't been there to protect at that. She felt the thrum of a driver within her chest, desiring activation, but right now Kindness could wait. Handing Nora a gigantic slice of cake, she said: "I hope it is to your liking. Humans in time of great distress seem to enjoy sweet things. If you so desire, I can make as many cakes as you want." Turning on her heel after handing that piece of cake over, she put the rest on the counter, not wanting to interrupt Hakuryu's introduction. Crude as he was, there was definite kindness in his words, though she'd have to drill him on etiquette once again later.

Speaking of etiquette, Dmitri upon arriving would soon receive an ice pack for his face, which Auriola held against his head throughout his introduction. "Hello Dimitri. Will you be needing aloe vera as well?" she asked, having learned the severity of human "emotional burns" as described by "101 Ways To Communicate With The Young Generation!" Giving him a half-hearted pat on the back, she said in a monotone voice: "There are an estimated 40,000 species of discovered forms of piscine life in the sea. Loneliness is not guaranteed."

...She hadn't...quite gotten down that some phrases weren't as literal as she thought they were. Either way, she'd continue holding that ice pack for him. While he wasn't human, he was something that was close enough in nature for Auriola to not consider a threat in any capacity.

"Thank you very much Auriola" Amelia said, giving the android a kind smile as she accepted her piece of cake. She set it aside for now and resumed her drawing for the time being while paying attention to everyone and their interactions with Nora. Hakuryu's line of being able to rely on him got a small giggle out of the young Dhampir. She knew Hakuryu was an earnest person and reliable, but sometimes he was a bit... well, stupid and reckless. But when he wasn't being those two things, he was one of the most reliable in the group.

Dimitri's introduction was the be expected, overly formal and showy. She just stayed silent and focused on her drawing, ignoring the full-blood vampire as best she could. However, she couldn't help but laugh at Auriola's comments to him, finding how the android took some sayings a little too literally rather amusing.

It was only shortly after she finished her sketch of Nora and carefully tore it out before handing it to the new member of the peerage.
"Don't worry, everyone around here is nice. But Dmitri will probably try to hit on you. All responses that end in rejection are acceptable, even violent ones." She said, her tone kind and gentle. With her piece said, she would return to her seat and enjoy her cake. The picture she had drawn was of Nora of course, but the level of detail, from the way the light had been hitting her and the shadows it cast, down to texture of the cloths Nora was wearing, was definitely the work of someone who did this as more then just a hobby.

Ixveria gladly accepted the cake that was offered to her and with a gusto that not many see started to happily devour it in pace that was somehow fast yet dignified in a odd sense. It was something her peerage members was probably use to but for Nora would be odd and or surprising. It however was interrupted when a large black crane flew in with a sense of urgency that was often not found with her familiar this by itself got her to put down her cake and give it her full attention. The letter in its missive in its beak was short and simple but spelled of trouble that she honestly did not want right now when she should be celebrating the day a new member has joined her.

"I am sorry to cut festivities short but I need your full attention." She said her voice tinged with regret as she hated doing this when she promised a few days off so that they can do what they wished. "It seems that something important has come our way that we need to deal with." Her words slowed as she started to figure what was the best way to handle this situation normally this would be relegated to someone else a lesser member of the family normally however the situation was something that required her attention meant it wasn't something minor as a simple fallen or that. "It is unknown but a mage bearing the name of famous one Prelati has apparently teamed up with a unknown and has been slowly getting rid of supernatural in the area. It is as such that our job is to find and eliminate them if at all possible." She said with a loud sigh at the end.

Nora Evans

As Nora and Auriola were discussing the freshly made cake that the android girl had recently finished, the other members of their peerage would decide to also join in on introducing themselves to the shy new girl. First up, Hakuryu. His compliment on her looks made her cheeks turn from their previously pale color to a much more pinker hue. "Um, yeah, I guess you could say that. I don't really like being the center of attention that much," she replied in her soft voice. Just to further emphasize this, she shifted in her seat as she vocalized her appreciation. "Th-thank you for the offer."

Next up was Dimitri von Aleron, the group's resident vampire, though she didn't know that just yet. The self-titled womanizer was admittedly making a decent impression, not yet revealing any underlying motives, if he had any that hid beneath his courteous introduction. It reminded Nora of those handsome noblemen that would appear in fantasy stories, kneeling down and kissing the back of the princess' hand. In fact, she was almost surprised he didn't do so. "Well, um, it's nice to meet you as well, Dmitri," was the only statement she could manage with all of this overwhelming awareness.

Succeeding him was Auriola, who had now finished cutting up her cake and was handing a very large looking slice to Nora who accepted it with a sweet smile. "Oh, thank you. I'm sure it will taste great," she told the android, taking the fork and cutting off the tip to enjoy the sweet pastry. "Mmm."

Finally, Amelia would finish her drawing of Nora and hand it over to the blond girl who replied with a quiet, "Oh," as she realized that the sketch was both of her and for her. "Thank you." She'd only get to admire it for a few moments before looking back up the artist who had created the piece as she explained why it was best to look out for Dimitri's antics. "I'm not sure if I like the idea of hurting someone just for being rude to me," Nora replied.

Unfortunately, the mood of the room would soon change with the arrival of Ixveria familiar. Just as the black birds of old were omens for imminent disaster, this one seemed to be no different. "I-is there no one else who could possibly stop them?" Nora asked, unsurprisingly nervous about having to fight so soon after being reincarnated. She had no experience or training with her sacred gear and had never had much of an inclination toward violence in her previous life.

Auriola

At the sight of Ixveria's crane, Auriola raised a finger, the tip of it splitting open as a violet light emanated from it, before she calmed down, finger returning to normal as she said: "False Positive." She was unused to familiars...that and she had a faint disdain for black feathers. However, when the news hit, the android took a moment to parse information on the target, figuring that a briefing was in order on who it was. "Francois Prelati, an Italian priest and alchemist famed for his teachings of Gilles De Rais in the 15th Century Current Era. Reportedly capable of summoning and binding demons and devils, black magic, and various attempts to extend his own lifespan through sacrificing other people." she said, before her head turned toward the door.

"Your orders, Ixveria?" she asked, before her right arm condensed itself to the elbow, before being replaced by two massive metal rails pointing straight outwards, her black bangs extending and covering her eyes. "......I can...scout," the android offered, as Patience's Driver activated. Her arm condensed once more, before it turned normal, the faintest glimmer of light shining on them revealing wires connecting from her fingertips out towards her back, as two dolls in her image erupted from her small circular vents in her arms, roughly about an inch in height each. "Nobody can escape from my Observers once I find them." she said, having switched to Humility almost instantly. She seemed keen on being the one to scout about, though even with her Observers, her range was limited to about 20 kilometers; Barely enough to even scope out a tenth of the city from one position.

"Hello Dimitri. Will you be needing aloe vera as well?" this, along with an accompanied ice-pack that Dimitri questioned the necessity of, came from none other than Auriola herself. Well, he appreciated the sentiment, but...

"None of that will be necessary, thank you," Dimitri side-stepped away from the ice-pack that Auriola held in place as he said this, "This only stung because it got caught on the tip of my fang, but the pain seems to have lifted."

He was about to return to his cake in peace, not having actually had the chance to take a bite and taste it, but then all of a sudden he caught earshot of Amelia "warning" the newcomer, Nora Evans, of his supposed antics. Naturally, Dimitri took slight offense to that bold statement of hers, adding his two cents in as Nora wibbled about not being comfortable hurting someone just for the sake of rejection.

"I agree with Nora. Personally, I'd consider hitting someone just to spite one's feelings of attraction equally as insolent as failing to manage said feelings of attraction," that said, Dimitri looked over to face Amelia directly, "Also, you exaggerate when you use the words "hit on". True, there are times when I've gone a little far... forward, per se, but the both of you should know that I've never mistreated a lady in my entire life."

...

There wouldn't be much of a chance for Amelia to respond before Ixveria called for everyone's attention, specifically to relay the mission briefing for the day. Apparently a mage bearing the Prelati name had teamed with a mysterious figure in an effort to extinguish everything supernatural in the area, and it was up to the peerage to stop them. The mentioning of the name Prelati had struck a bell for Dimitri.

"Prelati?" the vampire queried, looking down and holding a hand to his chin as he pondered, 'Why does that name sound familiar?'

Nora, meanwhile, had asked if there was anyone else who could stop them, understandably weary about going into her first battle just after being rebirthed, whereas Auriola explained to everyone who exactly this Prelati was meant to be. Her description sounded about right, from what Dimitri had heard about him. Still, something didn't seem right, and Dimitri couldn't put his finger on it. There was only one thing for it.

"I have questions concerning Prelati that I feel only he is capable of answering," Dimitri told Ixveria, "Assuming it's at all possible, may I request we make an effort to detain him, as opposed to simply offing him?"

Amelia frowned at Dimitri as he expressed his opinion on her opinion.
"You walk in here nearly every day with a slap mark on your cheek. That's practically a dead give away you're hitting on them, or as you put it, being forward with your desires. Just leave them alone and let them approach you instead of acting like some overly hormonal perv." She said in a less then impressed tone.

Her piece said for the moment, she returned to her previous seat on the couch, massaging her forehead as she sighed. She hated dealing with Dimitri, as she was usually hostile towards him by default and more so when they were in disagreement on something. The worse part was that she knew she was in the wrong for disliking him just because he was a pure-blood vampire and she hated herself for it. But after all she had been through, she just couldn't bring herself to presently like him.

To say she was thankful for the distraction of a mission would be a bit of an understatement. Listening as Ixy spoke, she frowned when the details were given.
"What would you like me to Ixveria?" She asked. She knew she was worthless in combat at this moment unlike almost everyone else but she figured if Ixy had a use for her, she would try to fulfil it to the best of her ability.

"I honestly wish I can offer another option however a direct order is a order and a such I can not offer a way out. I am sorry to do this but I will have to ask you to stand and fight...." Ixveria said as she trailed off it hurt her to do this but it was honestly the only thing she could do but it was obviously what the only thing she had left. "Prelati isnt someone you can just ignore and hope he goes away. History has shown that left to his own devices things will happen that is best left alone. It is as such we must always assume the worst when dealing with him however now matter how legendary of a magician he may be I do have absolute fate in all of you."

Ixveria said as she look at her peerage it wasn't what she wanted so as such I have to issue orders now. "Auriola, Demitri go search he was last seen around the center of town around the old library that would be a ideal starting place. "Amelia please help and defend this as our main base it is a ideal striking place should he decide to attack. Nora I know your new and just joined but please aid Amelia in any way you can. Haku I need you to be in top shape your job is protection duty I know Auriola and Demitri is more than capable of protecting themselves but if you see him I need you to send for me right away Is that understood?" She said looking at her peerage her face steel like she hated doing this but it was time for action now.

"I... understand," Nora replied, her voice shaky. She knew when she accepted Ixveria's offer of salvation that performing such tasks would become necessary if she wished to remain on this Earth, but now that her loyalty was being tested, she wasn't so sure that this was a great idea. However, death was the only alternative, and the fear that resided in her heart over what would happen to her now after becoming a reincarnated would have to push her forward. That and the desire to live up to her fellow peers. "I'll do what is asked of me."

Having now been partnered up with Amelia, Nora approached the Dhamphir, her head hung low in shame as she criticized her own constant hesitance. Still holding on to the beautiful piece of art she had been handed earlier, being careful not to wrinkle or fold it in any way, the shy girl asked, "Um, is there anything you would like me to do? I could barricade doors and windows with my... um... Oh, what's it called..." Her face became flustered as the blond haired girl struggled to remember the name her power was given by her King. "Sacred Gear? Yes, that... Though it would probably also destroy whatever I place them on or next to," Nora suggested, shooting down her own plan.

"As you wish Ixveria." Amelia said, honestly a little relieved that she wouldn't have to go and look for their target. She just had to worry about if he approached the school. She was also put in charge of watching Nora, which she didn't honestly mind. The newest member of their peerage seemed like a nice person, if a little on the under-confident side. She watched as Nora approached her and managed to give the girl a kind smile. "You have a sacred gear? That's rather lucky of you, I wish I had one. I don't know about barricading things and I don't know how your Sacred Gear functions. For now, all we can do it sit back and watch how things play out. At most, I'll send out a little scout and if worse comes to worse, we'll contact the others and play things by ear to defend out base.

Does that sound good to you? If so, how about we just get to know each other a bit? Some private girl time is always fun for humans, right

Auriola

@Suku,@AdmrlStalfos19

"Understood, Mistress Ixveria," the robotic girl replied, bowing her head, her Observers clinging to her arms like affectionate children, some turning to wave goodbye the members of the peerage, deceptively adorable given their explosive payload. She wasn't quite accustomed to working one on one with Dmitri, but felt that his skills would be exceptionally useful for recon. Especially his ability to wipe someone's memory of an event...or at least, that's how she came to understand it. Vampires were strange beings to Auriola, but then again she supposed that she herself was likely the strangest in the room. Once they left that room however, Auriola would temporarily withdraw her observers.

Once they were out and about, Auriola would get around to placing her Observers in hidden spots near the old library, the tiny drones seeming somewhat displeased at being stuffed in cramped corners and trash cans. But, they were as loyal as the main body was, even willing to stop pretending to be able to smell for a bit for Ixveria's sake. They pretended to be cutesy for the sake of appearances, but really they were just fragments of Humility's driver given sentience and subservience to the main body. Keeping there eyes peeled, the Little Observer Stake-Out had finally begun. Prelati wouldn't know what saw him...or perhaps even hit them, if Auriola figured she could go in for a surprise attack using all her mini-her's payloads.

Now without much else to do as the Observers were put into place, she was simply left with Dimitri. "Now then...was your pickup line really bad enough to get slapped for it?" she asked, propping her chin up on her elbow, offering a somewhat snide glance to go with her question. Even if he wasn't human, or formerly human, or even half human, he was still more than interesting enough to spark Humility's...interests, so to say.

'Once again, she exaggerates,' Dimitri sighed heavily as this thought came across his mind. Contrary to what Amelia had said, this was actually the first time in weeks that he'd came in bearing a slap mark. In any case, he needed to focus on the mission at hand.

It looked as though detaining Prelati wasn't an option after all, as apparently that would come in conflict with direct orders that the peerage was given. Dimitri would just have to question him before or during the battle instead. Luckily, he was sent out to scout around for Prelati's current location... although that meant that he would be paired with Auriola. Hakuryu Mizushima was to accompany them as well, if only so he serve as the messenger for when it was time to report Prelati's arrival. Overall, Dimitri was fine with this outcome.

...

Sure enough, as they were scouting, Auriola decided that now was the time for a little small talk.

"Now then... was your pickup line really bad enough to get slapped for it?" she asked, much to Dimitri's dismay.

"Did you really have to bring that up right now? It'd better to ask about it after the mission," Dimitri stated flatly, "Besides, it wasn't even the so-called "pickup line" that failed me. Our first date was going so well..."

Dimitri did not want to talk about the botched date with the student council president; one could tell by the contorted face that he made knowing how bad it would sound of him. But he had an inkling feeling that Auriola would only probe for all the juicy details; this would especially be true the longer he kept them to himself. Still, it didn't stop him from attempting to slowly steer the topic away from it.

"I'm sure Amelia would have you know that I don't learn anything when it comes to my endeavors with women... but in truth, I've come to learn that they're rather fickle creatures," said Dimitri, "According to what Father always told me, that was especially the case for Mother. She always played hard to get for the longest time."

"This has to work it just has to." A voice said to itself in desperation a large alchemic circle was drawn on the ground glowing at certain intervals as it pulsed drawing power from the area. What she did was unforgivable but that's ok when her plan finally comes in to fruition they would see they would all see how wrong they were. "Soon my friend soon we can be reunited." She muttered to the coffin that lied in the middle of the circle. "This body may not be the one you remember but its ok we will be reunited and together we shall make them pay." She muttered to herself. Though in her concentration she failed to notice that some was closing in on her or she was truly confident in her defences.

Ixveria

Ixveria paced back and forth as she waited for the others food laid forgotten on her desk as she paced perhaps she should have gone with them? No that wouldn't so she couldn't leave her spot just yet she needed to scout the position first to make sure that the person was there. She was unsure on what crimes the infamous alchemist did in the past but he was wanted by both the angels and the devils his standing with the fallen was still unaccounted for which worried her if they were to team up she may not be able to handle the combined threat. Deciding to not send a message to the team via familiar she just yet and hoped they hadn't run into trouble something seemed odd about the situation.

"Y-yes, I'm okay with that. It won't take long to create my crystals, so I can just keep it at the ready in case we're attacked. Since we probably won't be in the first place right? That's why she only kept two of us here," Nora said, more to reassure herself that she's be avoiding battle than anything else.

Taking a seat on the nearby couch again, the blonde girl tried her best to calm her racing heart. Merely the idea of battle unnerved her, an unfortunate flaw considering the power that had been granted to her. Once her nerves had returned to manageable levels, she tried her best to smile and nodded toward Amelia. "Some girl time between the two of us sounds like it could be fun," the shy devil replied.
