Appearance: 6'0 tall, skin is sun-kissed, and body is kinda scrawny but with a bit of muscle showing, you could call him "lean". A scar runs across his right cheek, his light blonde hair is thick and falls to the nape of his neck, scruffy chin and face, bright green eyes. Style is between thug and prep, if you can imagine. Mikkish has a handsome face, but a bastard's grin. Has a pentagram tattoo on his shoulder, from his more edgy days.

Reason for joining: Killed a psycho who was stalking a girl he had a crush on. For the record, this guy had a gun, was about to shoot Mikkish and do god-knows what to the girl, but this scenario ended with Mikkish beating the man to death. Mikkish was about to be charged with murder, when an agent of Maniacles came to his holding cell...

Appearance: About 5'10 and very thin. His face is clean of facial hair, and rather pale. Short blonde hair sits on his head, usually neatly combed. Has a triforce tattoo on his arm.

Reason for joining: It was always his dream to join Maniacles as a mercenary, but his parents always insisted he try and be a doctor, which he honestly had no interest in. When he saw the job ad, he thought it was too good to be true, but when he took it to an actual Maniacles recruiter, he figured life was too short to continue letting other people dictate his choices, so he signed up for what he thinks will be his dream job.

Name: Nbarra "Bara" Olecie
Age: 19

Origin: She hails from a rural town in Colorado, a ranch at that. While enjoying the animals and work, she was an only child expected by overbearing and borderline physically abusive parents to continue ownership of the ranch. Instead, on a day when they had struck her one too many times she lashed out and struck her father back. The situation escalated and she ended up restrained, then jailed for assault after her parents testimony claimed she was the one who started hitting first. Their wealth sealed the deal and Bara spent half a year behind bars and another half in community service. During this time, her relationship with her parents was still rocky, resentful.

Towards the end of her term, the Maniacles company approached her at their home offering mercenary training and work. She felt intrigued and even interested in something that would allow her to leave home, but when she realized her parents were the ones behind securing that offer (STILL trying to get back at her after all this time) she threw a fit and refused. When her term of community service was up she took her long time friend-- the dog Miko, a suitcase of items, her mother's handgun and ran away from home. Climbed aboard a bus ride cross country. At a rest stop in the prairie, some official looking suits approached her. They slid in across the diner booth and demanded to know why she was running from obligations. Furthermore, they said the offer to work for them was never optional. They were simply humoring her.

Flustered she decided to surrender right there and took the job. She was already free of her parents home, so why did it matter any more? At least a job may hold a future bigger than homelessness.

A short, compact frame that can never be intimidating strength wise but is fairly agile. She has brown skin, kinky hair and hazel eyes.

Dog:

Miko is a large working mountain dog, standing a little above waist of the average person at 29 inches high. She has thick white fur and a loyal attitude. She stays by her owners side but is otherwise very lazy unless her owner is in danger or has work for her.

Skills: * An agreeable attitude, she doesn't like to cause drama and prefers to just do her job.
* If game like terms were applied, she's not much of a fighter but she has a high agility that lends to being able to run at high speeds, or sneak around quickly. She's more of a stealth build.
* Additionally, she has a healthy adrenaline that has applications from holding out stamina while running to stuffing her face with food to keep up the high energy. This can lead to embarrassing hyper moments around people or doing MORE work than was asked of her (or work that nobody asked her to do) just to not be bored.

Reason for joining: Maniacles offered work after her parents sent them her application/info for consideration (against her knowledge or will). She ran away from this obligation only to be quickly tracked down with the intent of kidnapping her if she refused. However, she actually agreed to the job the second time around because she felt it'd work out.

Other: She carries her mother's stolen handgun. When she lived at home, her parents would often make her go outside to work without being armed. This demonstrated how little regard they held for her very life once she revealed her desire to leave the ranch. Stealing the handgun felt good. Liking to keep her companion close, Miko is often laying by her side. Both of them hate to be separated, so if she leaves the dog to go to school, she'll feel anxious and Miko will probably tear something up while she's gone.

Reason for joining: Maryln was on one of her routes when a Maniacles agent confronted her for stealing money and jewelry from men. They had been watching the relative ease she had in manipulating passerby with simple brain tricks, leaving the victim completely unaware that she had robbed them until they realized it too late. Maniacles thought she had potential and offered her a chance to work with them instead of jail time.

Maddox was born in the south of Ukraine close to the Russian border. Her mother died in childbirth and at age 5 she was brought to America by a friend of her late father. She grew up there in the outskirts of New York City. She didn't know the English language, nor did she know the culture. Fortunately, it didn't take her too long to adapt. Because she was still young, she learned English pretty quick (although her Ukrainian accent is still noticeable to this day) and adapted to the culture fairly well even though she never really fitted in with the other children. Be it her past or her nature, Maddox always enjoyed being the quiet child. She would often go off on her own and explore the woods, or craft random things with what she found in those woods.

At age 10 she found a body in the woods. Strangely enough it didn't bother her that much. She had seen death before when she was a baby. She was too young to remember, but it distanced her from the fear and horrors of death. In fact, she felt a weird moment of peace seeing the sprawled out body. There was nothing to be done about it. There were people to blame, but it was over. It was done. Nothing could change the fact that he was dead. That constant comforted her, even if it was through death. After that ordeal her adoptive father learned her how to handle fire-arms to protect herself. She loved it. It wasn't necessarily that she liked the power she had with it - only partly -, it was the power it had. One small bullet in a covert machine could kill a man. 6 bullets in only 1 machine could kill 6 (if you were a good shot that is). Maddox never really thought about taking a man's life with it, but it still fascinated her how easy it was and would be.

In later years when she got older, she dealt in illegal fire-arms. It made a pretty substantial amount of cash, and seeing how Maddox didn't really care about the law, she was a pretty good dealer. She didn't start out that way of course. At age 15 she often shoplifted. She naturally looked for camera's and always wanted made sure she wasn't seen. She got caught a couple of times, but it didn't have major repercussions since she never stole really valuable items. She mostly stole because she wanted to see if she could do it, to prove something to herself or others, to win bets or even for the thrill. Later she turned to pickpocketing. At times when she was feeling 'generous' she gave it back to the owner and said that they had dropped it. Her troublesome streak of events didn't go unnoticed. At the age of 17, she was approached by someone who wanted her to deal in all sort of stuff. Not just stealing, but smuggling. It started of slow with items that weren't worth much. Stolen watches and stuff. In later years she climbed up the ladder and eventually started dealing fire-arms. Mostly small ones that she could carry with her, but occasionally she deals rifles and bigger units.

S K I L L S

Combat

Maddox has quite a good aim, especially with hand guns. She learned to shoot at the 'young' age of ten (young being in quotation marks since pests would make people more willing to teach their kids how to defend themselves at younger ages). She picked the skill up pretty quickly, but the main reason for her good aim is her ability to control her breath. A steady breath, combined with the ability to separate the emotional and rational, makes her have a steady hand which in turn causes her to have a good aim.

Professional world

Stealth. Seeing how Maddox deals in illegal fire-arms, her stealth game has to be on point. She used to play hide and seek as a kid, and would hardly be found. She knows how and where to hide, and more importantly, when to come out of hiding.

Miscellaneous

Surprisingly good at games like poker. She has a natural ability to twist the truth and to bluff. During her time shopliften, pickpocketing and dealing illegal fire-arms, she got better at this skill. She often had to lie to avoid getting caught, or talk herself out of a tricky situation. She still has a lot to learn, but at least in card games she can be really convincing.

My Hider

She was offered the job after she was ratted out by a fellow dealer. It was supposed to be a partnered mission. One being the distraction and Maddox being the one who smuggled a few guns. When her partner was close to being caught, he pretended he spotted the guns she had on her, causing her to be arrested. Not soon after, she was approached by someone who recruited new employees and thus offered her the job. She could either take it, or be in prison for most - if not all - of her life. She gladly took it. It meant that her crimes were exonerated to an extend and it meant that she had a job. She liked dealing. Having the thrill and the excitement, but this was another adventure Maddox was exited to try

Strengths

-Good aim
-Stealth
-Notices surroundings. She always looks for camera's, nearest exits, things to defend herself with in case something goes wrong, etc.
-Convincing/pretty good liar (it makes her good at card games like poker and gets her out of tricky situations)

-Trust issues (she was betrayed by someone she trusted before, but it made her not trust anyone with important things again)
-Gets annoyed quickly

-Devotes herself too much to jobs/what needs to be done, instead of thinking about the people 'close' to her. This connects to her being more rational than emotional

Naoko has relatively average aim, but he excels with a small blade like a knife or shiv. When his parents didn't trust him with a firearm, he had to make due with a knife when he couldn't outrun the Pests. It ultimately benefited him.

Professional World

As a child in Tokyo, his parents didn't offer him a firearm like most others, so he learned to run instead. He knows how to maintain speeds and conserve stamina. Before he left to join Maniacles, he thanked his parents for this small contribution.

Misc

Naoko is a great judge of character. He can often tell if someone is untrustworthy. He also notices when someone blatantly lies to him. He uses a scale of trustworthiness, going from 1 to 20. He can't help but tell the people around him his rating of someone.

Reason for joining: Despite Naoko's smarts, he wasn't seeing any careers in his future, and college just didn't seem like something he wanted to do. His parents ultimately told him if he didn't get a job, he was going to get kicked out of the house. He didn't want to waste his years spent in a stuffy office helping people with their tech problems, so he decided to volunteer to join Maniacles. His parents were shocked to say the least, but were glad their son was contributing to the fight against pests. When he learned he would be going to college, he grumbled, but accepted it nonetheless.

Other: He currently uses a glock 19, holstered snugly at his right hip.
