Gen 1 had Dome, Helix, and Old Amber, Gen 3 added Claw and Root, Gen 4 added Armor and Skull, Gen 5 added Cover and Plume, and Gen 6 added Jaw and Sail. Gens 2 and 7 didn't add any new fossils.

Anyone see the Smash direct? I missed the first 1/2 of it, but there is like 3-4 more characters added from what was already mentioned, and a few new Pokémon added to the Pokéballs, including

Hider

*Abra
*Ditto
* Vulpix (both normal and Alolan
and a few others

Also, Mega Evolutions are confirmed for Let's Go

I'm surprised that Knuckles gets a spot in Smash before Tails. (I mean they both can appear in the background of Green Hill, but that is different)

so we have (I think) 70 playable fighters so far, (8 costumes each) and 300+ possible stages (since each stage has two forms) with matches being anywhere from 2-8 fighters. That's 1,000,000's of possible fights,

And over 800 songs, plus the ability to switch stages mid-fight.

I have Liam's team for this down to two options:



Option 2 would be to swap Dragonite in for Jiriya, Smaug, or Hakamo-o. Goodra is coming in b/c he's essentially Liam's signature Pokémon, Sylveon is coming in to be a counter to the dragons that Liam will likely face, and Blissey is being brought in to help give any first aid needed.

Jiriya was initially picked as being one of Liam's powerhouses, and having Protean is always useful, Smaug's pros and cons are mentioned in the discussion between Liam and Saisei, and Hakamo-o isn't fully evolved yet. Any suggestions to help me with this last decision?
