So, I found this really neat thing for those that have discord called Pokecord. You can pick a starter from any region and with each post, you gain XP, and randomly a wild Pokémon will appear, the first one to guess it's name right gets it.

Have you ever considered using poke cord for our battles? Maybe if everyone joined on Discord we could use the dice rolling mechanics to better do our attacks and what not. They hit if we roll higher then the other and it would be a fair system?

We would have to wait until our actual Pokémon appeared, which could take forever, and the battles are all 1v1 battles, meaning only one pokemon each total, we wouldn't be able to do a full battle with it.

I think I misworded that.

I mean, for this rp, why don't we use a disc rolling mechanic on Discord? That way, battles don't go on for too long and we can debuff ourselves when affected by statues effects.

It still is a single battle only with one mon each. Besides, even when our mons show up, we have to level them up still. It just isn't practical.

Why don't we use dice for battles in this rp on Discord to make things fair and not go on longer then they have to.

I was hoping they continued the regional variant trend and they even added a twist to it in the form of the variant gaining an evolution. That's one part of the even number generation trend holding true so far: new evolutions of pre-existing Pokémon.

Back on the subject of dice battles, one thing we could do instead, if you're really gung-ho on having more fair and equal battles, rather than predetermined battles that take several posts, we could use Pokémon Showdown.

Oh yes, a lot of poketubers use that for cagematchs and the likes because it pretty easy to learn and use susposable. Though I personally want to see Jen win the Aloha Championship as I think it would be amazing for her self confidence.

Would be great for Chuck as well, since he barely lost to Shiranui in the Championship match, but he still took the loss hard.

See that's true, but for me, Jen has more of a reason then Chuck. If she can prove that her blindness does not prevent her from winning then it would spark other children who might have problems like her to go out and tackle the world. Hell, think about this, Mike and Sashia have both had a hand in training Jen too, Mike gave her Aura and taught her the ways of Aura to allow her to see things that others can't see and Sashia been a pillar of support since they first met not that everyone else had done things for her as well.
