In the turbulent year of 2149, ten young people are mysteriously dropped off on a deserted island with only a few cases of supplies. Although they obtain no knowledge of each other before this encounter on the island, in time they would come to know that each of them were part of a revolution against the intolerable communist regime that took over the western hemisphere fifty years ago.
This new generation now in their twenties, fed up of not having enough to eat and forbidden to do what they truly wanted to do with their lives - gradually and very carefully began forming a resistance. This group grew immensely and noting how rapidly their ideas were catching on, they eventually marked a date. A date to suddenly come up from the underground and display their power in numbers in complete defiance towards the dominant regime.
In order to chastise those who dared to proudly betray the establishment, this tyrannical government (which is called the C.A.U.) made a public spectacle of the so called ‘rebels’ by killing them on screens for millions to witness and to the horrors of their parents. Now, there were some parents that held positions of power that gravely wanted to avoid this haunting grief. Immediately knowing that their kids were sentenced to death, these socialites silently devised a plan. These men and women had influence within the regime, for their positions were in lofty places. With carefully calculated bribery, heavy persistence and extensive networking, they desperately attempted to spare the lives of their children.
A slim chance of opportunity miraculously freed open for them. The only way to have a chance to live out their lives on earth was for them to be sent where no man - good or evil- can find them: a neglected island dead center in the Pacific. But, if there is any suspicion of betrayal or disloyalty to the regime in the lives of these parents, the government will immediately and mercilessly go after the parents and then after the young people on the island… everything is essentially and intricately hanging by a thread.
Now these college-aged kids have to deal with the undeniable fact they were exiled to live an island possibly for their rest of their lives or until someone overthrows the dictatorship. Having to battle off wild animals, disease, and having the suspicion that they may not be alone, they attempt to muster up the courage to walk through this new journey they never dreamed or desired for their themselves.
I. Follow the typical site rules.
II. Keep foul language to a very low minimum. We’re all developing our characters and sometimes our characters goes through trials and tribulation and gets angry or excited, and they express it through their choice of words. At special times, I totally understand. I want to encourage us, as writers to push ourselves to find more creative and descriptive words that create depth and color to our scenes.
III. Respect each other and treat each other with love. Quite simple really. If someone offends you, please take it up with them privately. If it still isn’t resolved, (and if it has to do with the RP), you can PM me if you would like. I reserve the right to make the final decision if a solution cannot be reached between the involved parties when it comes to the RP (in-character interactions, story lines, etc.).
IV. Don’t bring IC conflicts to OOC or vice-versa. This is a dramatic RP, so in the story there will be tension and conflicts within the group at times. Don’t take anything personally, this is just a RP!
V. Romance: If things gets a little too steamy- fade to black please. I would like to keep this PG-13.
VI. To prove that you have read all the rules, please write what kind of candy is your favorite at the end of your CS.
VII. For post frequency, please try and post at least once every 3-4 days. I know life can get busy! So if you get too busy to continue RPing or you just wanna leave for other reasons, just let me know and I’ll understand! If I receive no PM, I’ll wait about two weeks. But if there’s no sign of you anymore, I’ll go ahead and roleplay as if you dropped.
VIII. This RP will be heavily plot driven with things happening one after the other. If you have some cool ideas and/or input that you feel like would add more fun/drama to the story, feel free to PM me!

IMPORTANT NOTE: I would like this to be a smaller RP so that each person will have a part in the story. So for that reason, I will only be taking 8 people - each with only one character (4 males, 4 females). (First come, first serve!) If you’re serious and wanna have fun and improve your writing, you’re more than welcome to join!
