Warhammer 40k: For the Greater Good! - A Tau Roleplay

After being inspired (some may say *influenced*) by this picture (see picture above), I was pondering as to whether anyone would be interested in a Tau RP? Effectively a Tau 'Only War' roleplay or, if you prefer, the 2003 video game Fire Warrior (joke, but barely) . Humans would be allowed (or Gue'vesa, if you prefer), although I would prefer a majority of Tau (see: overlords).

I understand peoples dislike of the Tau, I'm not a massive fan myself, but I do think it could make a fun roleplay, with plenty of inner and outer conflict, philosophical questions, differing aesthetic and overall feel than playing a Human faction, and pretty much be a cool time for all involved.

(Plus it makes life easier as GM; there's no psykers, no Astartes and everyone is more-or-less equal...as far as that goes.)

Would this interest anyone?

What would the limit to what people can be? I know you want us to be mostly tau but would we be limited to just fire warriors or could there be stealth suits or other specialists.

As with Only War - the Imperial Guard RPG - we'll be a Fire Warrior squad (plus/including any Gue'vesa that tag along), I'm doing this for a number of reasons, not least of all because when you give folks 'other options' things often go awry. Not sure what may happen later, if this RP takes off, but for now Fire Warriors (or attached Gue'vesa/Kroot) are the dish of the day.

Hopefully, when you're not a living weapon or someone who survives 15 hours or less, there seems to be more to do...lets just not get into close-quarter combat.

Huh. I've never given the Tau much attention, so this would be a new experience. I don't want to juggle too many RPs, but I'm potentially interested.
