"Sometimes all you need is a kindred spirit." He shrugged, locking the car and following Amaya into the base. "Advantage of being me; you never actually have to shower or change clothes, just purge my human shell and reform it. Talk to you later, Amaya. Have a good one." he diverted away from the rookie agent, heading to the break room to grab a cup of coffee.

"Yeah lucky you"said amaya sighing as she waved bye. She sat in the employee lounge for a bit staring at the lights registering everything that happened on her first mission. She sighed before she got up heading towards her chosen room. Where her uniformish clothing came in more to fit and mend with her water forms as well as being water resistant. She sighed getting changed as she messed with her hair thinking what style to use

As the truck pulledin Mason was awake and stable. He was carefully moved from the truck and guards took him into the building. The approached the holding cells as Mason fully was aware he began to freak out and get away he was scared. Luckily they managed to get him into a cell to wait until he was questioned. He tried to get as far into the corner as possible.

@LightningMaiden@Phantomlink959@KatherinWinter@Searat

A different guard came over to each of the people who were responsible for bringing Mason into custody and reported that he made it safely into a holding cell and awaited questioning.

Argus, coffee in hand, made his way to the debriefing room; brushing off the agent who informed him of Mason's safe retrieval and containment. When he reached the meeting room, he took a seat facing the door, not paying any mind to the other agents already gathered in the room as he waited for the debriefing to start. Out of habit, the Djinn reached for the pack of cigarettes in his jacket only to find it empty. "Damnit, that was my last pack..." he grumbled, crushing the cardboard container and tossing it into a nearby garbage can.

The director called Rost, a human who was knowledgeable in wards, to see if the man could use his knowledge to help Madon. After the other man agreed to join him, the director made his way down to the holding cells. He wasn't sure that he could or would use this non human. Some were willing to a bid by the rules. Others were too set in the old ways. They were refused to see that if they didn't change they would die out. He opened the door cautiously not sure if he would be be greeted by the human or the demon. He was prepared for either.

Griffin met with the elders. Vampires were an old species. Since they had once been human it was alot easier for them to think like humans. But that didn't mean that there were those who did not wish to see things change. His sire was one of those. Not only had he had to listen to the elders point out all of his short comings. In front of a the local kiss but then he had to report to his sire. He pushed those memories away as he entered headquarters.

There was going to a meeting to go over the fubar mission. Griffin ran his hand through his hair. The last thing he wanted to do was go through his failures a third time. But he had little choice. The bureau was his best bet at accomplishing his goal. So he made his way up to the meeting room where the rest of the 'team' would be.

Rost

A tall, blonde man in a blue jacket and carrying a large and very old leather-bound book appeared behind the director shortly after the agency's leader reached Mason's cell . The scholarly man was thumbing through the velum pages of the tome, seemingly searching for a particular passage "Thank you for calling on me, Director." he announced politely as his employer opened the cell door. "I've been preparing to greet this... particular creature, since the first field reports were issued" Rost explained quickly, halting his search through the pages of the book when he found the correct item within, "I suspected you might request my expertise in making sure this Mason fellow could be managed properly." he noted, sliding a printed metal card into his book to mark the page before slamming it shut. "Just give me the word and I'll get to work."

Richard kept quiet throughout the whole time he was in the debriefing room. The whole operation that transpired was nearly an absolute failure and to make matters worse, it was his very first mission as a field agent. His performance...was less than stellar at best, so much for making a good first impression to the director and the agency. Embarrassed as he was at the case; he was still an adult and even more so an agent of the BOSA. He was responsible for his actions and had to suffer the consequences they bring, may it be good or bad.

The director studied the human on the bed. He was relieved that the shadow wasn't the one that greeted them. He had been pretty sure that the man would be in control. From the description he had been given by the agents this demon was strongest at night. Which meant this was the best chance help the human. The younger man was scared. Which was understandable in this case. "We won't hurt you. We came here to talk to see. We need to know what you know about your other half and see if we can help you."

Rost entered the room alongside the director, tucking his grimoir under one arm, "This is the director," he gestured towards his superior, "And I am Rost Smith, the Head of Arcane Research. Our organization specializes in the containment and, if possible, rehabilitation of magical entities such as yourself." the scribe offered in a somewhat cheerful tone, attempting to ease Mason's fears "As the director said, we would like to help you if we can; but I can only give you my aid if you are willing to allow it."

"N-no stay away" Mason tried to stay as far from them as possible. He ended up tripping over his own foot and fell face first on the floor. He got himself back up and continued to stay way. Still unsure of them he keeped a close eye on them.

"Calm down boy. It is day. You're other half can not hurt us. Not if you have the type of demon I expect you have. Not to mention my associate her will make sure that your demon doesn't get out of control again." The director assured the younger man. He was hoping that younger man would calm down enough to listen to them. They needed the human's cooperation.

Yet again Mason was trying to hide saying "It not true, not true". "Shut it wimp how many times do I have to prove it to you." it spoke again.

"We mean you no harm, Mason." Rost assured the prisoner, taking a step back when the shadows began to manifest, "You're a corrupted human, yes? Not a demon naturally, but one who has been turned, altered in some way?" he asked calmly, slipping one hand into his jacket and wrapping his fingers around the grip on his pistol "In cases such as this, where a human soul is twisted into a demonic one, it is not uncommon for their powers to fragment into a form of split personality. That would be the second voice we're hearing, Director." Rost explained as he hefted the grimoir in one hand, letting it fall opens to the marked page so Mason, Shadow, and the director could see. The page was illustrated with an alteration of the vitruvian man, with one set of arms and legs replaced by twisted, clawed appendages, "Given time, I can use magic to bind and repair the splintering taking place, to restore you to a single cohesive mind. Not Mason, not this other half, but a fusion of both."

The director nodded. He had dealt with split people a few times in his career. He had heard of this kind of demon. Honestly he thought there would be more of them around considering how corrupt the world was. But at least they had a way to work with such creatures. He wanted to give this Mason a chance to turn his life around. "Agent Rost is right. We can help became one entity. You can help others. All you have to do is allow us to help you."

"I'd rather not do this, but looks like I don't have much choice." Rost sighed, releasing his grip on the gun inside his jacket and grabbing a stack of post-it notes. The scholarly agent peeled the top note from the stack and affixed it to the door. A glyph drawn on the paper began to glow and pale blue light filled the room; generating a weak suppression aura within the room to push Shadow back into a dormant state. "These spells have a cumulative effect, creating a sort of magical faraday cage on the inside of whatever room they are connected to; preventing the flow of magical energy within it. Each one I place makes it stronger. If I have to, I will continue reinforcing the spell until Mason, not the other half, agrees to talk to us." he warned calmly, peeling another note from the stack and holding it up between two fingers.

"Now, Mason." Rost began, stowing away the stock of post-it runes, "I know our colleagues harmed you quite significantly during your containment, and I know you are afraid; you have good reason to be." he explained calmly, taking a cautious step forward, "You're not the first to be brought into custody in such violent conditions, nor will you be the last."

The tall mage crouched down to eye level with Mason, remaining a few feet away, "But you need to understand things from our point of view; We did not know what form of demon you were prior to your capture, and you refused to come peacefully. Several people had already been endangered by your other side beginning to awaken, and emergency measures had to be taken to contain you before anyone was seriously hurt. But that's over now, you are safe here; and we would like to make you an offer. Your fate rests entirely in the choice you make." he continued, maintaining a calm, reassuring tone. "Director, if you would be so kind as to explain to Mason what his options are?"
