"As Rost has said you are safe here. I apologize for the measures that were taken but the demon did not wish to be contained. Few do. It goes against their nature. It is our job to make sure that the humans are safe. We believe that the first incident was one caused by panic rather than I'll intentions. If that is the case than we would like to offer you a chance to turn your life around." The director explained. "As Head of Arcane Research Rost can bind the demon to allow you more control. You would have access to the beast powers and strength but you would always be in control. You would not have to fear being hurt the way you were again be cause you would be on the side of good."

"how" Mason said shaking his head. Other than that he didn't move. "and I didn't want to hurt anyone I don't want to" Mason looked down seemingly sad.

"I can make sure you don't hurt anyone anymore. It's going to take some time to get the spell right, and I'll need to repair the spell daily until I do, but I'm ready to start whenever you are." Rost explained calmly, reaching into his jacket and retrieving a small hard case. "The process is simple, I paint the runes onto your back, say a few words to activate the spell, and your more aggressive half will be supressed without interfering with your powers. It might not fully block him out at first though, I need time to tailor the spell for you specifically; but after awhile when I've got it right I can tattoo the finalized spell onto you to make it permanent."

Amaya was in her room just having had taken a shower feeling so much cleaner and didn't smell like sewwage. She headed to her bed where a fresh set of clothing was waiting for her. She changed into a normal blue t-shirt and jeans with a black hooded jacket zipped half way up. She put her tenniss shoes back on before working on her hair trying different styles till she found a ponytail to work the best. "Just give it a try."She said to herself remembering the conversation between her and argus. She took a deep breath yping herself up before she heard a knock at her door.

She opened it to find a guard coming to report that the demon was brought in alive and healed and currently in a holding cell awaiting interigation. "thankyou."She said to the guard dismissing him. She closed her eyes remembering the battle they had not to long ago with the demon and that kid...what a mess...it wanted to be left alone but they forced a attack. but somehow...Amaya managed to get through and calm the boy down to try healing and saving him. "I need to make sure he will be okay here."She said to herself deciding to head to the cells.

It took her a bit to find her way but she managed to coming to the outside of the cell. She listened to them speak to mason as she watched him "they are going to scare him way too much...maybe...I can help.."She said gently to herself forming into a puddle moving herself under the door before she reformed herself behind the unknown agent and the director.

"Your scaring him more then helping...Maybe..I can help with this...I think, he trusts me in a way since I kinda kept him alive enough for transport."Said Amaya softly looking towards the director and rost not moving forward unless they wished it. she didn't want to over step but in a way, she believed the demon had good intentions but just needed someone he could trust.. She knew how he felt having power and being afraid to hurt others. maybe she could help him somehow.

The director looked at the woman who approached. She shouldn't be here. She didn't have clearance. He was going to have to talk the guards about checking into that stuff. They didn't need someone who couldn't handle themselves around creatures that weren't cooperating with them. He didn't say anything because he knew she had had the most success reaching Mason when the shadow was in control. "I know you reached Mason and were chiefly responsible for making sure he got to the transport vehicle. That is the only reason I am not going to reprimand you for being somewhere you shouldn't. I will warn you that just because Mason looks and acts like a scared child does my make him harmless. Remember that this made did something so corrupt that he attracted a demon. That doesn't happen every day. There is more to Mason than he appears."

"I need to correct you, Director, Mason is not possessed. He is, himself, the demon. A corrupted human soul, how he got this way no one can say for sure. He may have sold his soul, or it may have been stolen and tainted. In fact, he seems to be experiencing some form of dissociative identity disorder; his demonic powers are manifesting as an alternate personality. Mason himself, I believe, is perfectly harmless." Rost explained, setting the hard case down and opening it to reveal a quill pen and several bottles of ink. "Agent Amaya, correct?" the blonde man asked, turning and looking up towards the water elemental, "Just in time, I could use your assistance. Would you be so kind as to keep Mason calm while I place a spell on him to keep his powers from manifesting of their own accord again?"

The scientist returned his attention to Mason, "I need to put the spell on you, for your safety as much as for ours. If it will make you feel better, Amaya can stay with you through the process of the spell being applied."

Mason nodded slightly calmer knowing Amaya has helped him before. He slowly came out from behind the chair and sat down on the floor across from rost still somewhat unsure of him. He watched what rost brought out of the case seeing so far nothing that would harm him.

"By all mean reprimand me for actually trying to help him adjust by being here.He is still a being and a scared male whether he is a demon or human...having woken up after near dying of blood loss and being in a strange place is not a alarm to be scared then by all means you both should be checked...coming in here and wanting to seal the only thing he has is like taking away my entire existence...I want to be his partner...I understand how he feels and I think I can handle him and this demon you claim..."Said Amaya moving past the two men over to mason. She crouched down to his height before sitting down with him "This will be temporary...Once you learn to control yourself more...the less seals you will need..."She said to mason allowing herself to relax hoping it will help him relax and be more willing to go through with this.

Rost sighed, shaking his head, "You misunderstand what I am doing, Amaya. The seal is not on his power to control shadows, it is on the other half of his personality." he explained firmly, a hint of disappointment in his voice, "You assume too much and know too little. It is not multiple seals, but a single anchoring spell; it will prevent the violent side from assuming control. Eventually the two halves of his personality should become unified. Without that Shadow of his able to steal his body, he will not require physical force to contain him nor will he be at risk of going rampant and assaulting the people around him."

The scribe placed his book on the ground, opening it to the marked page as he removed a set of brushes from the hard case, "I am the LAST person you should be worried about trying to lock away what makes someone special, stealing their identity. The legacy I inherited, this book," he nodded towards his grimoir, "Have a singular purpose; to help those in need and protect the magic contained within from those who would seek to do harm. That said, an incident some time in the last century or so warranted precautionary measures, it is heavily warded against demons. Mason, do not under ANY circumstances attempt to make physical contact with this grimoir."

A tall woman in a simple black and white suit and skirt combo entered the meeting room along with the other agents awaiting further instructions. She had taken a spot near the corner of the room and scanned the individuals present, even with long dark brown bangs covering her eyes she was able to determine certain information with a simple glance. Numerous runic symbols, sigils, and numbers displayed in her vision as her eyes focused on hum and gave Richard a quick once over.

Rookie Agent Richard Anselm
Species: Human [Unknown Magical Anomaly Detected]
Physical Status: Healthy
Mental Status: Stressed
System Notification

'Data Analysis Complete: Rookie Agent Richard Anselm is stressed by the situation. Proposal: Lower Stress level of Rookie Agent Richard Anselm.' With a suggested directive in mind she approaches Richard and lays a hand on his shoulder and gives him two firm pats. "There there."

Richard only looks to the tall woman with a look of bewilderment. He had no idea who this woman was and why she was patting him on the shoulder. "Uhh...thanks I guess?"

Mason nodded staring at it confused how it could be so dangerous and valuable if it was a book. "w-what would happen if I did." Mason said still looking at it. Shadow could be heard faintly "just don't touch it you idiot.

Rost

"I'm not entirely sure what wards were placed on it were not documented, likely to prevent them from being undone. Could be anything from the fires of Muspeleheim to the holy light of Ra. The members of the order that created the book were quite dramatic at times." he said with a shrug, removing a bottle of wait paint and a brush from his kit, "But as long as you don't touch my t, we don't have to worry about any of that." the scholarly agent studied his book before returning his attention to Mason, "I'm going to need you to turn around and remove your shirt, you can lay flat on the bed if you like. The seal needs to be on your skin and your back provides me with the most possible surface area, though once I perfect the spell for your specific condition I can miniaturize it and apply it permanently to a less conspicuous area. Until then, I'll need to re-apply it daily."

Argus

The Djinn agent looked up from his coffee as the newcomer entered the room, and he flicked out his serpentine togue to taste the air. "clay dust and no pheremones? Odd. Never smelled that on a person before." he contemplated, delivering an intense stare "You some sort of empath or something? A mind reader?" He asked bluntly, narrowing his eyes at the seemingly female agent, "Because you ain't human, that's for sure." Argus changed his attention to Richard, "How are you doing Rich? Still feeling alburned out or have you recovered from that fight?" he scanned the room quickly, "oh, and have you seen Griffin yet? Wondering if he got back to base alright."

Senior Agent Argus Grau
Species: Dijin
Physical Status: Healthy
Mental Status: Stable
System Notification

Astra looks at Argus as a quick scan and notification appears in her mind. She then properly turns to face her superior agent and gives him a quick answer in her monotone and even voice. "I am neither empath nor mind reader. Though you are correct to deduce that I am not human, Senior Agent Argus Grau." She steps away from Richard and lifts a hand and transforms it into the hard and rough stone like texture of her combat form before turning it back to normal. "I am Rookie Agent Astra, and I am what the scientists and researches say a 'golem.' "

Richard keeps his bewildered look as the woman displays her ability. "W-well, nice to meet you, Miss Astra. I hope we get along well." He then turns to face Grau and answer the question. "I've managed to fully recover from the fight, I visited the medical wing just in case but the doctors found nothing wrong." He pauses for a bit and also scans the room for the other senior agent but is nowhere to be found. "I haven't seen Griffin recently. Maybe he had to do something before going back to HQ?"

(EDIT: Fixed the post that my phone messed up)

"Griffin is a leech, and I didn't smell any blood on him, so he probably had to go hunting or something; although why they don't just have the human agents donate blood to keep him fed is beyond me." Argus guessed with a shrug before returning his attention to Astra, ”That's the name, I'd say don't wear it out but I change it every so often anyways.”

The reptilian agent whistled, seemingly impressed "Golem huh? Always thought your kind were a myth, something the Hebrews came up with to scare people off. Color me surprised." the Djinn stared at his coffee before looking up and scanning the room "Anybody want this coffee? I like the smell but can't actually drink the stuff."

Griffin wasn't surprised that he was the last to arrive to the meeting. Well maybe not he thought as he looked around. He didn't see the water girl anywhere. However he did see a new female. One apparently made of rock. Gargoyle he thought with a sigh. Good in a fight but he had heard their intelligence wasn't all that high. Which couldn't be true if the bureau had hired one. Without a word to anyone he made his way into the meeting room. He leaned against the far wall. He watched the others interact uncertain of how they could do so. He had never been a social person. Not even when he had been human.

"We are waiting a couple more. Please help yourselves to the refusements. We will start as soon as the others arrive." One of the higher ups told them. Griffin knew they were waiting on the director. A man who wasn't going to be happy with their performance. He wasn't looking forward to going everything again with a bunch of strangers. Especially strangers that he was suppose to work with. They already thought he was a screw up. Reviewing all the things that had gone wrong would only prove those thoughts were accurate. No one would want to work with him. Without a team to lead he would never earn a kiss of his own.

She offers Argus a almost too perfect a bow. "I share similar feelings with Rookie Agent Richard Anselm. I do wish we were to get along as workmates." She then stood straight again and focused on the new arrival, the vampire. The scrying runes and sigils appeared yet again in her vision as her eyes focused on Griffin.
Senior Agent Griffin Green
Species: Vampire [Aproximate Age Unkown]
Physical Status: Healthy
Mental Status: Slightly Agitated
System Notification

'Proposal: Inquire about slight agitation.' Astra then walked close to the vampire and attempted to inquire about him. "Hello, Senior Agent Griffin Green. I would like to inquire why are you feeling slightly agitated? Do you require sustenance or is something on your mind? "

Richard smiles slightly at the artificial human. It made him slightly happy that she wanted to have good relations with her workmates. He then looks to Argus and gladly takes the coffee from his hands. "Thank you." Richard walks back to his seat and relaxes slightly at the scent of coffee, the aroma reminding him of simpler times in his life. God knows it had been a long night and he at least deserved some coffee.

"I can get along with anyone that I don't inadvertently piss off the first time I meet them." the Djinn offered, attempting to be polite but failing miserably, "You can just call me Argus by the way, not huge on formality. Not these days, at least."

The Djinn removed himself from the meeting desk and wandered over to the refreshments, grabbing a stack of napkins before returning to his seat. Argus began rolling up napkins and laying them down on the table in front of him, watching Astra from the corner of his eye as he listened in on the conversation, "Hey Griff, just remember; A known mistake is better than an unknown truth." he said reassuringly, "Learn from your mistakes, because you'll get another chance to prove yourself soon." with that said, he tilted his head back and opened his mouth wide, dropping a rolled up napkin down his throat and swallowing it whole.

"Understood, Argus." She offers the Dijin a polite but monotone answer. She then turns her attention back to the vampire in front of her, hoping that Griffin would answer her query so she could better help him.

"Don't bet on that Argus. The vampire counsel isn't thrilled with me right now. I'll be lucky if the director talks them allowing me a second chance." Griffin glared at the gargoyle and her device. While he wanted to learn to interact he wasn't in the mood to push his patience. "I am feeling agitated because our first mission was a fuckcluster of a failure and I'm going to take the blame for from multiple sources." He explained to her. The others might have the leisure of learning from their mistakes but he didn't. The vampire wasn't the forgiving. Especially the head of the council who just happened his asshole sire.

"Basically he was the De facto leader of a joint mission earlier today because of his seniority." Argus explained bluntly, "From what I've gathered, Griff here isn't very experienced working with other people, let alone leading them, so seniority putting him in command pretty much screwed over both himself and the mission until I arrived on scene." he continued, giving a brief summary of the day's events, "Sounds like the local vampiric court is just as obnoxiously bureaucratic and stuck up as they are elsewhere in the world and have decided that it is ENTIRELY his fault that things went south, rather than it just generally being a poorly planned exercise, the blame for which should really go on the director rather than the agent." the Djinn finished before turning to look at Griffin, "That about sum things up?"
