A.I. am Human (Cyborg 009 remake)

Tentative interest yo. By the way, given the story you set up, that means one could arguably play a human in a powered suit of armor or otherwise integrated to cybernetics less advanced than those of the Cyborgs, doesn't it? Not planning to if the Cyborg slots don't fill up but it's something to keep in mind.

Cyborgs are pretty much always cool. They have to be so they don't overheat, that's bad for the mechanics.

Suppose I'll ask just for the sake of it; would any of the Cyborgs get made into cyborgs when they were like babies? Just asking that, cause of the timeline the Cyborgs should probably be in their forties or above or so, assuming none of them are like little kids or so.

Oh also safe to say I am interested yeah.

Ivan Whisky, Cyborg 001, capable of advanced telepathy, telekinesis, ESP, and teleportation. Unquestionably the most powerful member of the 9 cyborgs, but the strain of such powers on a baby means that he can only use them once a week, then has to sleep it off for a whole week. Glass cannon. Super powerful, incredibly unreliable. Always the last line of defense in a crisis.

Also, it occurs to me I also phrased the question wrong; are the Cyborgs at play the original ones who would’ve been around for twenty seven years at this point? Just assuming only the antagonist and exposition support came back through time (possibly via Terminator rules)

Oh yeah and also saw something above about due to how the story was set up it’d probably set up room for members outside of the Cyborgs?

This is basically my spin on the whole concept. Our nine cyborgs will be the first of their kind. They would be 27 years older technically, but they'd look the same age as they were in the 90's.

Nowadays I'm more of a 'classic rock' fan, though that's really just seen as 80's rock and the better stuff from the late 70's. My heart's still stuck in the 90's though. Toto, Foreigner, Judas Priest, Guns N' Roses, CCR, Eric Clapton, the Beetles, Beastie Boys, Nirvana, Soundgarden, RHCP, Weezer, etc. is a good taste of what I listen to. And that's not even touching the one-hit wonders and rap from the late 80's and 90's.

I know it's not at all you're thing, but maybe this RP is the one where you make the exception and let one or two people make two characters to make the full nine. Otherwise we'll start short and having some of them already taken by Adam feels very much wrong.

Well the other Cyborgs could just be not answering the call, whether because they're unwilling to give up a normal life or simply busy with other things we don't even need to know, this way you don't take up one of the nine slots in case other players come in and you can keep it a mystery whether the other cyborgs were already consumed. The story setup does say that usually they only gathered a few at a time and that there's been plenty of other threats across the years.

BRIEF Bio: Once upon a time Bruno Schaefer was an Austrian-born musclebound man who tried to achieve the American Dream. In the pursuit of that he became a Helicopter Pilot for the Army; but that all changed after a nasty crash. Bruno Schaefer, Helicopter Pilot, a man who was barely alive in remnants of helicopter debris. He would've been left for dead, but "The Skull Faced Man" had the technology. He was able to rebuild Schaefer, stronger, faster than he ever was before. Betrayed by his government and framed for a crime he did not commit, Bruno was doomed to be on the run; but fortunately there were eight others who knew his plight. Teaming up with them Bruno went on a spree of world saving heroics. But after years of service Bruno sought the peace of the shadows. Of course that wouldn't be for long as he was contacted to once again save the world.
Notes: Despite not needing to work out much anymore, Bruno Schaefer still maintains a rigorous exercising routine.

As for music tastes I like the mountain goats.

Also I'm assuming that like even if all nine are immediately present, chances are the gang would be split up into a few smaller groups like Scooby-Doo.
