I haven't read Jordan. I have the books to read, but haven't gotten into them. I have read Sanderson's other works, though. He is definitely one of my favorite authors.

I'm currently reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and my god is it good so far. It's got a really interesting world that it's set up and is just overall well written so far. I can't wait to read more of it.

I have a huge recommendation for any Potter fans who want something more mature in a similar vein to Potter. Look up a book called the Magicians by Lev Grossman, it's an amazing read which takes a brilliant (and perhaps more realistic) approach to magic and it's effects on those who can use it.

As the Guardian put it: ''The Magicians is Harry Potter for grown-ups,''.

As for what I'm reading now, I'm currently about to finally get round to reading ASOIAF (A Song of Ice and Fire) series. I originally started reading them a few months back but stopped at book three (A Storm of Swords) so I want to actually get through them this time as my memories from the last time I read them make me hold ASOIAF in high esteem.

I gave that book a try and I am afraid it just wasn't for me. I prefer more gritty ones that follow someone going through hell and yet holding onto what spark of hope and humanity they have left. I think that's why I love the GEARS books so much...

Slowly reading through Mistborn. I and a few of my RPing friends are planning on trying to read through Wheel of Time together, a book per month. Should be fun. :D

Next up on my list is to continue reading the Painted Man. That book so far has been amazing.

I personally love the book "The Life of Pi". It is easily one of the best books I've ever read. Another great classic is "Flowers for Algernon". The book changed me. Another one of my favorites (A lighter read) is "Happyface". It's got pictures, but don't judge it till you read it.
