“I-I'm sorry.” The kid blurted out after his mind finally oriented itself, the slight twinge of a headache still lingering somewhere in the frontal lobe. Bryson blinked his eyes a few times, allowing his vision to refocus once again before gazing at Alex and realizing he was okay. But when his attention shifted to Kord, all he saw was the blood covering the kid's hand and face, not realizing that it was, in fact, the PSF guards own from the fatal wound inflicted only moments earlier.
“Geez dude, are you okay?” Bryson spoke up, examining the other’s hand only to notice the absence of any serious wounds. “Wha?...” One of the other cabinmates pointed to the dead guard. “Oh, right.” Bryson said with a sheepish grin. “I knew that.”

The kid took a few steps toward the exterior wall of the cabin and leaned against it, his head still a bit off kilter from the previous telekinetic attack. He'd practiced all kinds of techniques more times than he could recall, and never did a headache of such magnitude rock his mind as it did at that moment. Perhaps it was the control environment of the cabin that just made things easier to focus on, and each training session by himself or with a few of his friends was nothing extreme. But this time was chaotic, and while he hit his target and accomplished what he’d set out to do with his powers, the mental drain was overwhelming to the say the least. He rubbed his temples with the tip of two fingers, gently massaging the ache away for all it was worth, before exhaling a sigh of relief that was a long time coming.

“If I smoked, I’d probably be on my second pack by now.” He said in a jovial manner, although the expression on his face told a different story. Bryson wanted to be tough and in control, but he didn’t quite feel that at the moment, even in the wake of Kord’s concern about what we should do next.

“Well, I say we stick together if we’re going to get out of this shithole. Maybe even meet up with the other cabins if we can find them” Bryson glanced around the area, not seeing much, but hearing the continued fighting in the distance. “But, either way, I guess we need a plan then, yeah?.”

Lucy watched as Harper left her and the other girls, and she knew that despite the odds being stacked up against them, she had to go outside and help the others. It was only in her nature.

"Let's do this then..."

Following behind Harper, Lucy headed outside onto the chaos. She was immediately drawn to a struggle between a couple of younger boys and a PSF, and she quickly jumped to action and rushed over to help. But as she was approaching, the PSF shot dead one of the boys. His blonde hair stained by his own blood would be an imagine she would never be able to forget, especially as his lifeless body fell to the ground.

"Hey!" Lucy forcibly pulled on the armed man's uniform shirt, getting his attention but unfortunately not thinking it through beyond that. She wasn't quick enough to avoid the stock of his rifle as it made heavy impact with her jaw, causing the young girl to stumble backwards a few steps before she inevitably fell and landed on her back. Her head spinning, Lucy then nearly found herself staring down the barrel of that same rifle she'd just been hit with, but this time, she was quick enough to push it away with her hand.

"Put it down!" Lucy got to her feet, grabbing a hold of the PSF's wrist with her free hand. Visibly struggling to do otherwise, the man dropped the rifle, his arm shaking just the slightest for it to be noticeable.

"Y-you...bitch," he whispered through clenched teeth.

Lucy paid him no mind for a moment as she noticed the other young boy running off. She then pushed the PSF away from her and quickly picked up the rifle, aiming it at his center mass before pulling the trigger.

Harper Azalea Cartella

Harper stopped in her tracks as she heard Lucy's voice. She turned around but before she saw Lucy standing there she saw the boy on the ground where blood covered his head. She covered her mouth with her hand as she looked at Lucy picking up the gun and shooting the gaurd. Harper hand fell as she looked at the chaos around the field. They could all get out of here. She could help a lot with her powers just as Lucy had. She knew how to control it enough.

"Keep the gun. Were going to need it. " Her voice barely made it's way out. "I'm going to get a gun, and perhaps a few people on our side." She paused for a moment. Her powers could go wrong at times. "At least I hope. We just need to get to the gates, simple enough." She nodded, trying to convince herself more than she tried to convince Lucy.

She looked around, and spotted a PSF. She focused on him and flashes came to her mind. She closed her eyes. She saw a memory where it was his first day at the PSF jobs. She implanted the memory of hatred. The fact that he was forced into it and didn't want to join. She breathed in as the next memory passed through. The man held the gun up to a kids head. The kid tied up squirmed around. He put the gun up to the kids brain. The man would of been ecstatic, if Harper hadn't decided to change it with guilt, and fear of the weapon that caused all of it.

She opened her eyes, exiting the mans mind. She watched the man drop the gun and crimpled down into tears. She ran over grabbing the gun out of his reach. Looking down at the crying man she hesitated. Maybe she went too far. She shook her head letting out a laugh. He deserved it. All of this hell he put them through. She kicked the man, as hard as she could. She looked over to the kid. "Were getting out of here come on."

Addison Torrez

Even though chaos raged everywhere, Addison ran to where most of the craziness was happening. She marveled at everything that was going on around her, making her heart race and her adrenaline surge. Kids were running all around, some using their powers on the PSFs and some just trying to find cover. PSFs were trying to wrangle kinds while also fighting off the people that had broken into the facility. Then there was the mysterious people in white arm bands that had seemingly come to their rescue. When she saw them there was a brief moment that she wondered if her brother was somewhere in the mess of people, looking for her so they could escape finally. He had promised her he would be watching out for her and would get her out sooner or later, was now that time? Was he with this mysterious group of people? Unfortunately for her, there was too much going on for her to try and look for him. Hell she wasn’t even sure if he was here and she wouldn’t be wasting her opportunity to get out and fight to go on a wild goose chase.

As she ran towards the action, Addison noticed a group of PSFs in the distance that were having a shoot off with a bunch of the people wearing white arm bands. The PSFs had their backs turned towards her, which made her smile slightly at the fact she could sneak up on them and help the people with the white arm bands get the upper hand. She stopped for a moment to look at who she wanted to attack first. She had to pick carefully since she would be at risk of being shot herself if she picked someone to close to another PSF. Right when she was going to attack, she heard multiple screams coming from behind her. Turning around, she could see an older kid with an arm band leading a few smaller children away from the fight, but as he did three PSFs cornered them against a building. The kid with the arm band pushed the younger ones behind him and bulked himself up ready for a fight.

“Shit…” She hissed under her breath, looking back and forth between the PSFs who still hadn’t noticed her and the kids who were in danger of being captured or hurt. She struggled with the decision on who to help for a moment, but ended up going with her gut instinct. Turning she started running towards the kids who had been cornered. The teen with the arm band caught sight of her coming, causing a slight look of relief to come to his face. One of the PSFs standing in front of him has raised his gun to the teen’s chest and was about to shoot when Addison wrapped her glowing red hand around his arm. A scream instantly burst through his lips as her hands burned though his armor and began melting his skin. The other two turned towards her in surprise, but one was taken down by the kid with the white arm band.

“Fuck! Damn freaks!” The officer who had yet to be injured yelled, raising his gun. Seeing this, Addison released the one officer and thrust herself upon the one with the gun. Her fiery hands instantly went to his face, the one part of him that wasn’t covered, and held them there as they both tumbled to the ground. His screams echoed through her ears and his face began to burn all the way to the bone. She’d never smelled burning flesh before, but it was surely a smell that she would never forget for the rest of her life. Feeling satisfied that the PSF wouldn’t be getting up anytime soon, she turned her head to look for the officer she’d attacked first, but he had already run off, clutching his injured arm.

“You okay?” She asked the kids, first looking towards the younger ones and then looking towards the kid with the arm bad, who was still straddling the officer he’d knocked out. He shook his head in confirmation, still trying to catch his breath from the struggle.
“The fucking freaks fight better than you thought, asshole.” Addison got back to her feet and kicked the dead officer she had just taken out.

“Come on.” She said to the white arm band kid. “Let’s get them somewhere safe.”
