Bryson Darga
Name: Bryson DargaGender: MaleAge: 15Birthday: October 25AppearanceHair: Dark Brown to blackEyes: blueHeight: 5’10Personality:• Extrovert • Adventurous • Risk Taker •
For the most part, Bryson is a good kid, confident, headstrong, and doesn’t mind lending a hand to a friend or stranger. His extrovertedness can be a bit overbearing to some as he does enjoy being the center of attention, specifically when he gets to show off his skill in Parkour. He’s outspoke on just about every topic that doesn’t agree with him (and will clearly let you know it), and will rarely ever “go with the flow” unless he just doesn’t care enough to swim against the current. Like most boys his age, he loves a good adventure and will almost always go searching for one if given enough freedom. Strengths:- Athletic & Nimble: Specifically in relation to Parkour and baseball
- Confident: He’s fairly sure in his skills and abilities, whether or not he’s right in the assessment.
- Social Butterfly: Putting aside his ego long enough to make a few new friends and maybe even keep them.
- Dexterous: Has a wicked throwing arm which, when augmented by his telekinesis, can almost always hit the intended target within reason.
Weaknesses:- Perfectionist: Tends to be hard on himself in many tasks he performs, and even more so if he fails at a task.
- Impatient: Loves to learn new things, but just don’t ask him to spent too much time on it!
- Terrible Listener: He’d ask you to repeat it, but why bother?
Likes:- Being on the move.
- 90s Alternative Rock & Nu Metal, most likely because his parents subjected him to it at an early age and now he just can’t get enough.
- Taking Risks, even if it means breaking a bone or three.
- Socialising, because how else do you meet girls in a fallen world? :)
Dislikes:- Liars and Cheats
- Adults who throw their authority around like the socialist bastards that they are
- Clowns, or anyone wearing too much makeup...
- Waiting around
Fears:- Abandonment, especially from those who he considers friends or family.
Power: Blue - Can manipulate a single object no heavier than his own weight, or multiple objects of lesser weight, but for limited sustainability as it requires more focus. Practical uses include: using as a boost to reach higher places while doing Parkour. Also, funny/silly card tricks, throwing knives, ranged objects, etc. Good with light projectiles, which could also be used as weapons.Family:John Darga - Father - 36 - Alive
Allison Darga - Mother - 35 - Alive
Both doing their best to keep in touch with their kid and the facilities he is sent to.
History:Bryson Darga was a typical middle-class suburban male teen with good friends, parents who loved him, a young sister who he enjoyed tormenting, and even a weird uncle that hung around too often because he didn’t have a job. All in all, life was pretty mainstream for the kid who lived in the Shady Oaks neighborhood, played baseball a few days a weeks, rode a BMX bike, and generally loved to push the limits of human endurance through hours of Parkour all throughout the city. Sure, he pissed off a lot of people, but who could argue with a kid simply trying to “get outta the house” ?
When the virus hit, it hit harder than anyone would have expected. Most, if not all, of Bryson’s neighborhood friends and schoolmates fell ill and died too soon, too fast. His parents, fearing for their children’s, hid them both in the basement only to find that their daughter was soon dead and their son was not, but rather had developed an uncontrollable telekinetic power that shook the very foundation of the house. For the first time in his life, Bryson didn’t know what to do, and yet his parents seemed to have all the answers once the camps began to spring up around town and “hunters” came for their only kid. In an attempt to save him, they handed the boy over to the authorities, never to see or hear from him since.
It took a very long time for Bryson to forgive his parents, but he decided it was better than being angry for the rest of this life. Sure, he was scared, but so was every other kid he’d come across who was throw into the same awkward situations. Being the social wizard that he was, Bryson did his best to fit into a world that was seemingly crumbling around him.Theme Song:Fix Me - 10 YearsI'm fine in the fire
I feed on the friction
I'm right where I should be
Don't try and fix me
