Chaotic Neutral: A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions.

A P P E A R A N C E:

Human Form

A gaunt but debateably handsome, dark-haired boy, he may appear sickly to some. His skin is marked in bruises, they welt the flesh along his arms and sides. Sometimes large sores will appear around his neck and face, usually blackened by what appears to be rot. He's very tall, standing in around six foot two but he's almost unhealthily skinny. His hands collect scrapes and scratches seemingly at random, the knuckles are often bruised.

He will usually be found wearing black, adorned with shell necklaces. He seems to like things with stones and beads as well, liking to make a clacking noise wherever he goes.

Kelpie Form

The horse is a bit oversized and corded with muscle, but appears to be very drowned and very dead. It's black in color with discolored spots of rot all over it's large body. It has white, dead eyes and broken, rotting teeth hidden within it's muzzle. It's mane and tail hangs in tangled waves and it reeks of death. It's fur is bristled and matted from water and near it's flank is a large, open, wound that leaks almost constantly.

P E R S O N A L I T Y:

Many would say that Isaiah is very odd, he doesn't seem to understand how to be human. He speaks in a strange way, halting and constantly measuring his words. He talks about water a lot, using it in his comparisons and euphemisms. Things that he likes will usually be compared to water. He lacks affect in his speaking at times and it can be hard to tell if anything excites him or scares him. That strangeness can make it hard to relate to him and ends in him not easily making friends.

Beyond that, he's an individualist by nature. He doesn't like rules and regulations, he will usually push his limits as much as he can. When told to do something, he will almost always do the opposite. He hates being expected to do things and he hates having tasks set out for him. He tends to act recklessly and rush into things without thinking it through, this leads to him getting into trouble a lot.

When he's comfortable around a person, he becomes very invested in conversing with them. He'll tell them everything and make sarcastic jokes. He can come off a bit pushy with friends though, trying to direct them into his recklessness and he has little to no empathy for their problems. He won't go out of his way to help them while fully expecting them to help him. He can also come off as mean, pointing out their flaws at times, though he doesn't seem to understand that he's being hurtful.

B I O G R A P H Y:

Born to the Unseelie court of the Fae, he lived like any other Kelpie would have. His life was spent in the depths of black water, deep within a forest in Ireland, drowning wicked humans for fun and warning young children away from the water. As he grew up, he grew more and more curious about the world outside his lake. He found himself growing interested in the humans who wandered close to the edge and that was the first time that he ever changed his form.

The young lady on the other side had red hair and blue eyes, she was very startled when a thirteen year old boy surfaced from the water. So startled, in fact, that she stumbled and toppled into the depths. He was fumbly in his new form, his new fingers were numb with the cold and his limbs were awkward and hard to use. He scooped his arms beneath hers and waded her thrashing form back to the top, he helped guide her back onto the shore and she tried frantically to ask him where he'd come from.

The thirteen year old boy had not ever spoken in his human voice before and he tried his best to respond that he was the spirit of the water. She was scared, cold and dripping, she spoke with him though. It was the first contact that he'd ever had with a human, they talked for hours. He didn't have all of the right words and sometimes he had to use his gestures and noises to describe what he meant but she mostly understood. When she finally had to go, she made a promise to return at his insistence.

She showed up at first, visiting every day but it wasn't long before she stopped. His only connection to a world outside of the water was broken entirely and he was left wondering. That growing wonder and that growing need to know more about the world is why he sought out the academy.

- Isaiah Blackwater is not his real name, obviously. He was born only under a much longer name that he will refuse to disclose. In Fae lore, when someone knows your full name, they have the ability to control you completely and he'd rather avoid that.

Appearance: Irvine has shoulder length black hair and brown eyes (couldn't find a image match :( ). In order to complement his personal use of his powers he prefers to wear darker colours of blue's, browns and black to help him blend in more naturally with his most comfortable environments. He always wears a belt that has several leather straps which act as a sort of holster / sheath for his weapon the shadow hilt.

Appearance

Personality: Irvine is typically a quiet individual who would rather keep to himself than become involved in group activities or discussion. His lack of interactions with other people or species has him sometimes speak his mind without consideration for consequence or feelings. Both of which compound a shy, almost silent attitude of a person who'd rather speak with action than words. Despite this anti-social shell, Irvine will slowly open up as he develops trust for individuals.

Bio: Irvine's past is just short of being a complete mystery with little known about his early childhood or pre-teen life. He never had any direct family and never knew his parents being abandoned as a newborn. All efforts to track down his origins by either himself or others has always resulted dead ends, leading to the current status of any family he does have being a completely unknown variable. Constantly moved between different foster carers Irvine never developed any meaningful relationships, either through a lack of desire or deliberately preventing its on set.

By the time Irvine had come to realisation of his powers he was fending for himself and constantly moving, although typically remaining within a self-designated radius. Within his time alone Irvine grew comfortable with the general lack of being around others, typically hanging around within the constantly dark alleys of busy towns and cities. People who had claimed to see him on multiple occasions grew accustomed to referring to him as 'Shade' due to how his shadow un-naturally stuck to his body as though it was actually him who was the shadow. However despite this phenomenon Irvine has always considered himself human, his ageing and appearance were both that of a human, allowing him to move around easily in general populace. But he couldn't shake the feeling of a faint calling that maybe, just maybe, he was something more.

The hilt serves as a material component, and through the use of his powers Irvine can use it to form basic weapons formed from darkness/shadow energy. Currently he has managed to muster daggers and batons, and when given enough time a short sword. The hilt itself is somewhat dull there's a particular lack of any distinguishing features other than the craftsmanship of the metal that forms it, there's a void within the pommel usually filled with a decorative gem yet on this hilt no such gem is present.

Igni stands at a mere 5'5", horns included. Which doesnt really make her the most intimidating presence. It doesnt help that she has quite the lithe form as well. Granted, one should never judge a book by its cover; especially not in a magical academy!

Aside from her horns, Igni also sports a whip-like tail that is just long enough to drag across the floor if she slacks it. Curiously enough, much like with cats and dogs, her tail is an excellent gauge for her current mood.

Personality:
Growing up on a farm left Igni to grow up as quite the tomboy. She detests the idea of being seen as girly (even if deep down she would probably enjoy it a little) and prefers to be seen as 'one of the guys'.

She was always an unruly child, preferring to leave her chores to the last minute (or even completely undone if they were too boring) to instead play around in the surrounding forest.

Has a habit of sounding her thoughts, even if it might be considered a bit rude.

Will vehemently deny that she cried when she left the village she grew up in to attend the academy.

Bio:
Some people think all demons are the embodiment of evil. Igni is the living proof that this claim is as false as pigs having the ability to fly.

"Born" into a cultist couple's family through a summoning ritual, she grew up in a relatively normal manner. The couple in question had difficulties conceiving a child and in the end resorted to dark arts to procure a demonic child, who they raised as their own. So in a sense, Igni has no idea who her real parents are...

The family were known cultist, but werent the bad sort of people. They never resorted to the nasty business of human sacrifices or attempting to summon the Demon King himself into this world. In fact, the nearby village often employed their dark arts for various tasks, such as fixing buildings after a particularly devastating storm, or to defend the town again encroaching monsters, or battle debilitating diseases. Magic is, after all, only as evil as the people using it, and you were hard pressed to find kinder people than the Kairn homestead.

When her fire manipulation abilities started to manifest, her parents tried their hardest to help the girl control her power. But after having set fire to the barn for the third time, they came to the conclusion that Igni needed professional help... So with the help of the village gathering the funds needed, they shipped Igni off to the academy.

Power: Fire manipulation. This includes conjuring fire, controlling fire and in some cases even causing violent explosions. Probably has the highest rank in fire manipulation among the freshmen.

Personality: Many would say Haven is a hot headed mess. Due to her werewolf genes, she has a very short temper that can go off with just the slightest wrong word. Most people can’t handle that fact about her and stop being her friend the moment she goes off on them. Because of this she keeps to herself and throws herself into her school work. It also doesnt help she is a lesbian, so most girls are a little weirded out being her friend because they think she will hit on them. She is very book smart and gets the highest grades in her class most of the time. Deep down she wants to be friendlier, but is afraid of trying to get close to people since she can fly off the hat so easily. School and one on one sessions have been helping her with this, just not as much as she would have liked. She is very loyal, though people tend not to know this. If she calls someone her friend she will fight to the death for them. Haven has a strong love for music because it helps her control herself and just makes life feel better in general. She loves her family, but it is not wise to speak of the older brother that passed away years ago. She is very sensitive about this subject, and as for why she is, no one except for her family knows. Haven is very polite when she first speaks with people, which causes general confusion for most of the people that know her in school. They often refer to her as Dr. Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde since she is nice at the beginning and then will all of a sudden snap.

She has a very strong bond with her wolf hybrid, Mystic and can often be seen talking to the wolf when she has free time on campus.

Bio: Being as Haven doesn’t often talk with people, not many really know her past. The biggest things that are known about her is that her father was an outcast wolf from a pack in Tennessee. He stole away the daughter of the alpha wolf and got her kicked out of the pack as well. They are now known as lone wolves and are not spoken to by any of the members of the pack. It is also known that she had a brother by the name of Conner and that he died when she was 14. He was a little older than her, but it is not known exactly how he died.

She is rather new at the school and has only been there a few weeks. People have already tested her patience and because of that she has recieved one notice for fighting. A girl came up to speak to her and ended up saying the wrong words, which got her smacked hard in the face with a book, breaking her nose. Haven has been told fighting is not tolerated at the school and she will be kicked out if it continues. She has tried to generally stay away from people ever since and instead spends most of her time with animals or with her nose in a book.

He does what he wants, not what others want him to do. If somebody tells him to do something, he will just refuse to do it, and will probably do the opposite, though, reverse psychology doesn't work on him either. He is very stubborn, once he decides on something, there is a little chance of him changing his mind.

Bio: Sekhemi is an Egyptian Prince who rules with an iron fist. Time after time, Sekhemi has gone to war with other Kingdoms and slaughtered their men with his supernatural powers. His parents 'mysteriously' died the moment Sekhemi became old enough to rule. He claims he knows nothing of it but it was always obvious that even if he did he wouldn't tell you anyway. Besides nobody dared question their new ruler for they knew if they did Sekhemi would kill them. Some suspected that Sekhemi killed his own parents himself while others speculate that he had hired assassins to kill them for him but nobody knows the truth. For all they know, he had no involvement with their death whatsoever though everyone believes that is highly unlikely with how power hungry he is. He later heard of an academy which would aid him to harness his powers and applied immediately.

Bio: Rika was born from two very powerful parents, an angel and a demon. An act that was always forbidden had been committed and the reasons why it was forbidden showed in the early ages of Rika. His demon side was too powerful for him to control. Rika became afraid of his power and ran away at a young age. He wanted to learn how to control his powers as well as to control his demonic side. Personality: Kuro is the nicest person you will probably ever meet. He will never hesitate to help another in need, even if it means getting himself in trouble for it. He is always kind and honest, never telling a single lie, no matter what the case, because of this, he may sound offensive at times. Kuro is carefree and playful, he enjoys the little things in life. He cannot see the bad in things, nor the bad in people. Instead, he sees good in everything, always looking on the bright side and trusting way too easily. He has let himself starve before, just to feed a hungry animal in need. He never takes more than he needs in anything, and is always giving more than he should, leaving himself out. He is always forgiving, even though others have let him down time and time again. He believes if he is patient, then they will change. To him violence is never the option.

Bio: Kuro is a prince who has been taught the seven heavenly virtues. He has always been taught that if he ever breaks one of the virtues, he will be punished, not by the parents, but by life, dying of a early age. His mother and father wanted him to have a life they could never have, to be kind and honest with everyone. They taught him to never lie, no matter what the case may be. Kuya was always pampered and protected. He was a special boy, a boy who never had to grow up. His parents always wanted him to have his innocence. One day, his father died of a sudden heart attack, leaving Kuya's mother to look after him on her own, Kuya never got over it, he was still very young, what's even worse, is that his mother committed suicide soon after. Kuya was now on his own and became depressed, he was no longer eating or drinking. When he finally got hold of some food, he gave it to a starving cat, saving it's life, that is when he realized, he could understand animals. They spoke and soon became best friends, curing Kuya of his depression and returning him to his carefree child like personality. Everyone thought he was crazy, talking to Yoruichi constantly, so eventually, he decided to use the magic book which his parents told him to keep, and never use until after their deaths. He casted a spell on his pet Yoruichi. allowing her to talk freely.

Personality: Miarikia is a kind young girl at times. She won't go out of her way to help others, but she won't go out of her way to hurt them either. She is carefree most of the time, honestly not caring what happens to her at all although she can lose her temper quickly with others. Miarikia will happily show respect to others as long as they show respect to her. As well as she will be kind to people, if they are kind to her. She studied magic everyday so she doesn't have to rely on her Demonic Possession, learning new spells, some very powerful and forbidden.

Destructon: Destructon is the biggest of all the demons. He is bulky and is the reason he he the strongest physically. Destruction is a warrior, he is prideful and arrogant. He seeks battles to test his strength, and will often show off his power before finishing off his opponent. He is very short tempered because of his pride. He believes there is no stronger demon than him.

Tyrannican: Tyrannican is cocky and carefree. He knows that one's anger causes a clouded mind, which makes one's skills sloppy, which is the reason he is cocky, to make others angry and make their skills sloppy. He will always go for the kill when he sees the opportunity. He doesn't care what really happens to him at all.

Rytrinax: Rytrinax is super hyper active, he can't stay still at all. He is cocky, for the simply reason to make others attack him so he doesn't have to stand around and wait for the battle to start. He talks super fast, so he can finish a conversation as fast as possible and get on with the fighting. There isn't anything in the world that he hates more than being bored. He has to always be doing something entertaining.

Kakalukia: Kakalukia is the most dangerous demonic possession of them all, as he is sadistic and insane. He loves nothing more but to torture and make everyone go insane. He loves to play with his prey before he kills them. Kakalukia will create a never ending maze and trap his target's mind in there, rendering the body unconscious, and then watch as the prisoner tries to escape, until they lose all sanity they own. Kakalukia is all about mind tricks, he is a master of magic.

Bio: After years of studying magic from her grimoire, Miarikia discovered a forbidden spell which allowed her to take a form of a demon, as well as taking on the personality of that demon. She found out this was highly dangerous, as if one loses completely control and conscious then she will be trapped in the demons body, and will never be able to return to her old self. So she practiced at keeping her consciousness even under extreme situations, until she was ready for the spell. When she first activated it, she became Kakalukia. He immediately began to play mind tricks on everyone who lived in her village, until they all went insane, and committed suicide. By the time she returned to her normal self, everyone was dead and she was on her own, this is what made her angry and short tempered.

Power 1: Demonic Possession: Miarikia can take possession of a demonic soul, and use it to transform herself into a demon. Doing so, changes her appearance and personality.

Power 2: She can use many different kinds of magic, including forbidden dark magics.

Destructon: He has got super enhanced strength, endurance, healing and senses. He can control energy or absorb it using it to heal himself, or cause exploding damage with his punches.

Tyrannican: He has super enhanced agility, healing and senses. His spikes are covered in poisons. He can produce spikes from anywhere from his body and control them, turning them to weapons and armor. He has enhanced speed.

Rytrinax: He has super enhanced speed, healing and senses. He can stretch his limbs and transform them to whatever he wants.

Kakalukia: He has super enhanced intelligence, healing and senses. He is the most powerful demon wizard in hell.

Personality: Shade is a heartless, a creature that does not possess a soul or heart. Heartless are simply monsters, born to kill and destroy, however, Shade is different. Personality: There is more to Grace than meets the eye. She is an Angelic Companion although spends most of her time in her much weaker form. This form is called the 'Companion' form. Bio: Grace was born into a very powerful family. Her father was none other than God himself and is well known among other Angelic Spirits and Companions. Only a handful have seen Grace in her true form and that was when she was just a mere child with very little power. Since then she has stayed in her Companion form and has never left it since. Grace's powers were very unique not only did she process God's power but she also wielded dark magic. Despite this though God saw that she was pure and knew she hardly using her dark magic unless she had no other choice. As Grace grew up she learned how to seal in her magic power using a powerful spell. This would only leave a portion of her power. With help from a powerful friend Grace managed to cast the spell perfectly although it drained her massively as expected and she found it hard to do anything while feeling so weak. After a few days however the feeling of little power became naturally to her. Although no other angel could understand why she wanted to restrict her own power. Grace grew in strength every day, adding more and more power to the seal. With every enemy she defeat she stole some of their magical power adding it to the seal and thus making it her own. Despite the seal Grace could still feel her own power deep within it however she was the only one who could feel just how strong she had become. With great strength came overconfidence. Despite everyone's shock and surprise, despite everyone telling her she was crazy Grace won every time and she never had to leave her companion form. Dawn is of a rather unimposing sort, standing at 4’11 with a slim, almost elfish build. Her skin is pale to a point that borders on unhealthy, and her eyes, which are a soft grey, are ringed with dark circles. Her hair is thick and black, and hangs well below her hips- and, as such, it isn’t uncommon to see it tied up into a neat side plait, so as to better keep it out of the way.

Her choice of attire is almost formal, largely consisting of cardigans and neatly pressed skirts or dress pants- although it shifts from time to time, depending on weather and situation. She usually tops her whole ensemble off with a large sunhat. Given how she prefers the color black in her wardrobe above anything else, it isn’t uncommon for it to seem as if Dawn is on her way to a funeral.

Personality:
By nature, Dawn is a gentle soul, soft-spoken and polite towards friends and strangers alike. She attempts to be respectful towards most by default- until they merit otherwise, that is- and, around friends, will often break out of her usual somber personality and act much more openly lively. In addition, while usually composed and naturally serious, she will often become flustered if taken aback or embarrassed. She tends to have a rather dry sense of humor for the most part, and becomes frigid to the point of holding long-lasting grudges when genuinely angered.

While Dawn has a strong code of ethics, she is also a woman of logic and her own observations. When an unfamiliar situation arises, she will often do her best to wrap her head about it, asking questions or simply watching to gain information.

Bio:
Dawn was born the second child of the Memoli family- a rather infamous lineage among the magical community, seeped in countless centuries of blood and money. Its roots had begun somewhere in Urbino, Italy, serving as condottieri under one Fedrico da Montrefeltro. It was when Montrefeltro inevitably met his end that the Memolis discarded their old code of honor, taking up a path of quietly greased palms and performing little favors here and there. While the family had claimed to have settled from their rather notorious lifestyle some odd hundred years ago, they’re still regarded with a somewhat suspicious eye.

The Memoli daughter spent her life at the brunt of overprotection and grooming to live up to her family title- something that only worsened after her older brother cut ties. In a somewhat ironic twist, Dawn found herself doing the same thing after she was old enough, moving far from home and taking up the trade of a private investigator. Her family’s reputation haunted her like a shroud- especially when she first got into the business- but after some time, she managed to find her stride.

Her interest in the Academy, and the admission that resulted, was based upon two things. There was the desire to brush up on her magics as one might expect, and something...other. Namely, a burning curiosity about the place. It was shrouded in mystery, offering more questions than answers.

And Dawn very well intends to find these answers.

Power 1: Psychic Dawn can pick up on the thoughts and feelings of other people, and if she so wishes, project her own onto others as well. This power is almost constantly active unless she deliberately makes an effort to tune it out, giving her a sort of radio of surface thoughts and the like. It’s possible for her to probe deeper into a person’s head- digging for specific memories, or to read deeper than the surface thoughts- but not only is this experience highly unpleasant for the person on the receiving end (unless they happened to have invited Dawn in), but Dawn herself finds it terribly invasive, and prefers not to do it if possible. Another notable facet of her psychic abilities is that Dawn can "persuade" a target into feeling different emotions, seeing what she wishes them to see, perform certain actions, and so on. This isn’t failproof, and the target can resist- especially if they’re aware of what she’s doing, but a battle of willpower is possible.

Power 2: Shadow Magic: To give her preexisting psychic power some padding, Dawn has also picked up a few skills when it comes to harnessing the night- namely to hide herself in shadow, muffle her footsteps, and give her illusions a little extra kick here and there.

Epsilon’s favored form is that of a rather comely- if not somewhat worn- woman in her mid twenties or so. She stands at roughly 6’1 feet or so, with a body hardened by both combat and strenuous labor. Her skin is tawny in color, littered in scars and tattoos, and her hair is a deep black, shot through with streaks of silver. Seeing how it’s long enough to reach the center of her back, she tends to keep it braided back, although it’s not uncommon to see it left to hang loose on her lazy days. Her eyes are a warm shade of hazel.

She prefers to dress simply- a pair of jeans and a t-shirt are enough to get her through the day, along with a nice pair of leather work boots. Over this, Epsilon wears a battered bomber jacket. She’s nearly always found with a cigarette hanging from her bottom lip, and with the tattoo on her collarbone, the Greek Epsilon symbol, left in full view.

Personality:
Epsilon is a friendly (if not rugged and somewhat eccentric) woman by nature. Calm and lackadaisical, it’s notably difficult to ruffle her feathers, or get another response to any real prodding than a good-natured chuckle and a dry quip. She can be remarkably amiable towards friends and enemies alike, and is fiercely loyal to the former, but there is a somewhat darker aspect of her personality in turn. Epsilon is violent and somewhat hedonistic, relishing in fist-fights and baser pleasures.

Bio:
In another lifetime, the creature who would one day come to take the moniker of “Epsilon” lived deep in the bowels of Hell. She was a Commander of her own little slice of the army of the damned, infamous for her ruthless tactics and nigh unpredictable nature. In another lifetime, the creature carved her name in blood and bellies, and relished in it.

And then, at the height of her legacy, the creature gave up her titles and her glory, to live among men.

Epsilon’s reasons for doing so are something she keeps close to her chest. If asked, she’ll often shrug, offhandedly claim that she had a sort of disagreement with the wrong people. Whatever the reason, she cheerfully threw her old name over her shoulder, and donned the persona she holds today. Her taste for the baser pleasures of life hadn’t waned since her departure, however, and she promptly took up work as a mercenary. She slept around. She explored the depths of human vice firsthand. She drank in life with vigor.

She was floating in between jobs when she heard tale of this mysterious Academy. With nothing better to do, she decided to sign up, if not to experience something new.

Power 1: Shapeshifting: Epsilon, while unable to turn herself into an animal or any other person than herself, possesses two forms- that of her human persona, and that of her demon. The latter form is something far different, with great wings, claws as long as a man’s forearm, the horns of a ram, and an amalgamation of other odd features. It’s possible for her to carry these traits into her human form, which is something she often exploits in favor of taking her full demonic shape.

Power 2: Sin Absorption: Being a demon, Epsilon has the power to feed on the sinful actions and thoughts of others. It’s easiest for her to convert this into regenerative energy- something she does on a regular basis- but when storing energy in surplus, she becomes notably more stronger than usual.

Standing at a height of 5’6” feet, Madison is a man of fair complexion, with gentle features, dark curls that fall to his chin, and even darker eyes. Even without his...unique choice of wardrobe, he’s notably androgynous, lacking the masculine hardness of features or the telltale stubble that would be clear indications of his gender.
His androgynity, however, tends to be easily overshadowed by his aforementioned outfits. Although Madison is male, and identifies himself as such, it’s difficult to catch him at a time when he isn’t decked out in a skirt and heels. With the use of a bit of makeup, it becomes very difficult to determine that he is a man without being told.

Personality:
At heart, Madison is an open, good-natured individual. Mellow towards most everyone, regardless of their own feelings towards him, he’s usually willing to have polite chit-chat when his schedule allows him to do so, or even set aside time for the sole purpose of talking with a friend or acquaintance. He takes most things in stride, and it takes quite some time for him to get riled as a result- although, even then, it’s very rare for him to explode. His rage usually manifests itself as silent anger and disapproval, contrasting greatly against his usual sunny disposition. Age has also granted him an incredibly lackadaisical nature when dealing with the world around him, regardless of how bizarre or unusual it happens to be.

Bio:
Born sometime after the Tuscarora War, Madison’s early life was...interesting, to say the least. The son of a less-than-rich-blacksmith, the boy was groomed from a young age to take up his father’s job when the time came, set to tinker with scraps of metal and failed works. Madison seemed quite content with his role, although he occasionally slacked off to read one of the few books his family had around the house. He helped around the shop, even attempting to make his own creations from time to time, but, after his sister’s death things began to change.

Madison developed a fascination with femininity. He began to don his sister’s old clothing, storing them away when his parents attempted to prevent the habit. He would take rouge and cologne from his mother’s room to try it on, wearing them around his room and attempting to replicate the styles he had seen on the streets. As time went on, Madison developed a reputation as a respectable young man (although his habit still remained)- albeit a bit of a gambler whenever he scrounged up enough coin. He had a sweetheart, and was considering going into politics, much to the approval of his parents.

It was after one night of particular debauchery that Madison, who had been stumbling his way home, found himself attacked and drained near to the point of dryness by a rogue vampire. He clung to life by a hair, and, dragging himself into the gutter, went through the painful rebirth from human to a fully fledged creature of the night. It took him a few days after that to get his bearings- a few days of reckless, crazed feeding- and a few more to fully realize what he had become. Fearing that he would pose a threat to his family, he fled his hometown, taking his newfound freedom to explore his hobby to the fullest.

He developed a sort of fascination with the supernatural, and after dabbling in what knowledge there was about vampirism, spread his roots and began to study the world of the nonhuman to its fullest. Madison journeyed across the world, meeting countless species, and writing hundreds upon thousands of papers on his discoveries. With every paper published, Madison and his works became more and more well known.

It was during one of his periods of mindless wandering that he heard word of the Academy. Madison was immediately taken by the idea, of what sorts of fascinating people he might be able to meet, and immediately signed himself up.

Power 1: Pyromancy: Madison possesses the ability to control flame, capable of creating flames as small as a lighter’s, to starting outright forest fires. In addition, Madison is a natural healer. Through making a small, magical, painless fire, and directing it against an injury, Madison can amplify a body’s natural healing, causing gruesome cuts and broken bones to be healed with remarkable speed.
Power 2: Shielding: From his own energy, Madison can create highly durable shields to protect both himself and others. These shields can take different shapes and sizes, although the larger the shield, the shorter its duration, and the weaker they are. Most shieds can withstand a good amount of blows before Madison is unable to hold them.
