Ezekiel is handsome, thanks to good genetics from both of his parents, he was born with a strong jaw and deep cheekbones. His hair is a dark brown and usually trimmed short, he never seems to let it get much longer than his ears. He has a broad forehead and dark brows that are set low on eyes that seem constantly tired. His eyes are heavy-lidded, with medium length, dark eyelashes. His eyes are dark blue in shade and can seem very intense at times. They have a bruised pink shading around them.
He has a small nose with a straight bridge and a shapely mouth. He's built tall and lean, he has broad shoulders and a bit of muscle definition in his stomach and arms. He has a pale scar that stretches from the knuckle of his ring finger on his right hand, up to the start of his wrist from an accident as a child.
He tends to wear very neutral, fashionable clothing. There's almost always a jacket on his person unless it's incredibly unseasonable.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
COMPASSIONATE - INTROVERTED - INTELLIGENT - MOODY
A born introvert, Ezekiel prefers to have time to himself and can be quite disagreeable if he's denied that time to himself. This isn't to say that he hates people altogether, just that he needs time to recharge after social ventures. He's very open and honest in conversation, a generally agreeable guy. Talking to him isn't much of a struggle and he has a warm humor about him.
He's very smart, the kind of person who sucks up knowledge like a sponge. He loves to learn new things and he's always searching for some new branch of knowledge to balance upon. He especially has a love of insects and he knows more about them than any other subject. This can lead to him sharing this information with whatever poor party that's willing to listen to him.
He also has a particularly good memory, holding onto details that might have otherwise been forgotten. It also helps that he tends to take notes and keeps an active journal. He's very private about the contents of his journal and keeps it hidden in his room. He has a slight worry of one of his sister's finding it.
At times, he can be a bit moody. These times are usually a result of him being cranky from lack of sleep or being surrounded in too many people for too long. When he gets into one of his "moods", he tends to snap at people or say things that he otherwise wouldn't. He'll usually apologize for these outbursts within the hour or sulk about it if the other party got angry in return.
H I S T O R Y
Ezekiel was raised like any other kid in Rosefell, to a good family and with a reasonable amount of money. He had just about everything he ever needed. He spent his childhood catching bugs and bringing them indoors (much to the dismay of his mother) and quickly became very interested in all kinds of insects. He learned as much as he could about the insects that he caught, pouring over library books and basically becoming an encyclopedia of bug facts. Despite this quirk, he was a fairly normal young boy.
His hunger for knowledge only grew as he got older. It expanded to new subjects, it became his favorite past time. If he learned something new, he spent days upon days researching it and becoming as knowledgeable as he could about it. This love of learning inspired extremely good grades. Even if he didn't like a subject, he found it relatively easy to learn.
He connected easily with boys in his age group and was even popular amongst the girls to some degree. People liked him, he liked people for the most part. Ezekiel was not a hard person to get along with. That's why it was especially strange when he never started dating. When asked about his interest in the girls that he knew, he seemed to think the idea of dating was ludicrous. Little did anyone know, he was dodging the truth about himself and had been for years.
By the time he turned sixteen, he was starting to realize his growing attraction to men and that made him very uncomfortable. He didn't know how to talk about this or who he could talk to about it so he kept it inside. He seemed to figure that it would go away if he didn't give it attention, he was very wrong. In fact, it seemed more and more apparent that he wasn't finding women attractive.
Despite his strong relationship with his family, he couldn't bring himself to talk about this. He would dodge questions that got too close for comfort and he'd pretend like everything was fine. He constantly encouraged his younger sisters to do what felt right for them and to put their comfort above all else while not following his own advice in the slightest.
Around the age of seventeen, he had his first kiss. Though this was never spoken of out loud, it's written in explicit detail in his journal. At a small house party, he had gotten a little tipsy and made the mistake of kissing a close male friend of his. Though they agreed that this was just a product of the alcohol in his bloodstream, he was unable to forget it.
3:20 A.M.
Tonight I messed up. It was an accident, I swear by that. I know you don't believe me but it was an accident. I never would have done that if I'd been completely sober but God, it made something inside of me. . . I can't finish that, it's too cheesy. Rest assured, I enjoyed it.
I don't know what I was thinking, I shouldn't drink around people anymore. Tonight I kissed him. I don't want to name him, that'll ruin the fantasy. If I put his name here, it'll make this more real somehow. It was fleeting, a single moment of fire where my lips touched his. I could feel him freeze, I knew he was confused. Hell, I was confused too. His mouth tasted like alcohol and spearmint gum, it seared into my teeth.
I touched his hair before he pulled back, my fingers got caught in it for just a brief moment. His lips had been dry, I wondered if mine were too. I self consciously licked my lips afterwards, I couldn't speak. I was staring at him as this sick sense of awe and wonder spread through my chest. Somewhere there was fireworks and flowers blooming. There were colors sparkling behind my eyes.
He laughed, really laughed, and I smiled at him. I was so confused. I should have known that he was laughing because he thought that in my drunken stupor, I'd forgotten he was a boy. I wish that was the case. If that had been the case then I wouldn't be sitting here, my heart pounding in my chest, in my bedroom, seeping in my own wretchedness. I wouldn't feel the heat of his mouth on mine, I wouldn't be touching my lips right now to see if they feel as hot as I think they do.
I keep thinking of how his cheeks looked flushed. Was it from the beer in his hand or because he'd been embarrassed by my kiss? I know that I must have been beat red when he'd looked at me, I'm not sure he noticed. I'm not sure people notice things as much as I do.
Like, I noticed that there was this girl near us when it happened. She'd paused to stare at us as we stared at each other. A circle of awkwardness, tension so thick that it could have been cut with a knife. She was a witness to my fumbling words and shaking hands.
Did she notice that my hands were shaking? Did he?
She hurried away after awhile, I think she realized that I kept glancing at her. I kept giving her looks. Help me, please looks. I was a drowning man at sea, clinging to the light shining above my head, and then she left. Plunged into darkness, I drifted downwards after that. I laughed at my own idiocy, he laughed too.
It was all so funny. I guess, in a cosmic way, it sort of is. It's sort of hilarious. The aching in my chest is an absolute riot. I'd be laughing right now if I didn't feel like breaking into tears.
God, it was awful but I satisfied some morbid curiosity within myself. I liked the brief hope of kissing him. I don't know if I'll ever recover from that. Can I force this front of liking girls forever when it feels so wrong? I'm not sure. It's not the same with girls.
I've had more than enough chances to pursue girls, I've taken none of them. Maybe I should have. Maybe I'll find that I like it somehow.
It's 3:35 A.M. now and I'm wondering what it would have felt like if he'd kissed me back.
At eighteen, he forced himself into a relationship with a girl on the island and it was very strained. It was obvious that there was a lot of distance between the two. He was emotionally and physically distant and she was often left on the sidelines. They dated for about a year before he couldn't seem to take it any longer and broke it off. He never explained his reasoning for breaking up with her but it inspired talk from the locals.
He's avoided dating like the plague ever since and remains in the closet to this day. Recently, he's thrown himself into his collections to occupy himself.
O T H E R
Ezekiel has a bug collection, he keeps the display boxes in his room and it can be a bit creepy if you're just meeting him. Ezekiel has a form of insomnia that's commonly brought on by stress. He'd like to be an entomologist someday. He got his hand scar at the age of seven, thinking that playing sword fights with real knives was a good idea. Evidently, it was not.
Appearance: The first feature you notice upon setting your sights on Aliana is the signature red Cabernet hair inherited from her mother, which she mostly wears down or in a ponytail. In terms of style, it can definitely be described as grungy-casual. Her outfits includes T-shirts, jeans, sneakers, loafers or boots and a leather or varsity jacket. As expected, most of her ensembles will contain a black item, as it is her favorite color. In terms of accessories, she will wear necklaces, rings and bracelets to add some spice to her outfits. However, her four inseparable companions are a pair of sunglasses, earrings, her earbuds and a gold necklace with the initials A and E in two separate circular pendants. You will only see Ali wearing things like sundresses and shorts during the summer, and only in very important social events -and after much insistence from her mother- will you see her all decked out. Makeup-wise, she keeps it simple with just mascara and watermelon-flavored lip gloss; occasionally a winged liner. She has four continuous piercings in each ear along with a cartilage ring. Ali has no tattoos, but she has a fair share of faded scars on her legs from falling off her bike as a child.
Personality: Aliana Cabernet comes from two very powerful, influential people, and it shows in the way she presents herself. She's a charming, strong-willed, confident young woman, who expresses herself with poise and eloquence. She is witty, sarcastic, with a dark sense of humor and laid back attitude. With her siblings, friends and lovers, she is caring, affectionate and loyal to the core, and will defend her own tooth and nail. When it comes to romance, Ali loves hard, deeply and intensely. She will go out of her way to make her significant other feel happy, love and safe.
Those who know her will say Ali gets what she wants in life, and she’ll run over anyone who tries to get in her way... In a way. She definitely knows the value of being stubborn until she gets what she wants (and that sometimes you gotta be a bitch about it), but she isn’t stupid or reckless, and she isn’t about to let one wrong move jeopardize her entire M.O. She is also the rebellious firecracker of the house, frequently lashing out against her mother and the expectations she puts on her.
Habits//Quirks//Oddities:
Has a sailor’s tongue that drives her mother insane.
Bites her lip when she sees someone she finds attractive.
Chews on the nail of her thumb when distracted or spaced off.
Will always leave a trail of Viktor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb perfume wherever she goes.
Never leaves the house without sunglasses, her earphones, her cellphone and a tube of watermelon-flavored lip gloss.

History: Aliana Rebecca Cabernet was born to parents Rebecca and Andrew nearly eighteen years before, on the sunny afternoon of that 31st day of July. She had a fun, happy childhood, her every need and whim taken care of by their parents and their juicy bank account. As a girl, Ali thrived in being a good girl. She would follow her parents' rules without question, wanting nothing more than to please them. Her mother was her idol: the one person she looked up to and wanted to be with as an adult. However, as the years went by, the expectations became higher and more demanded, and Ali became more aware of her mother's true self. Although smart and charming, her mother was a very shallow woman, who lived to flaunt their social standing and keep up the appearance of being a picture-perfect family. This did not sit well with Ali, who slowly began to grow resentful.
When she reached her thirteenth birthday, Aliana finally became tired of being 'the good girl'. She began to rebel against her mother and her expectations: refusing to attend events, constantly arguing with her, sneaking out of their summer home to smoke pot in the tree house, and so on. This lead to Ali's relationship with her parents getting shaky, and she began to take comfort on her best friends. At the age of fifteen, she had her first relationship with a woman, coming out as bisexual. Although the relationship was short lived, this further strained the relationship with her mother. In the end, Rebecca cared more about the family's public image than about her daughter. The two women continue to be at odds to this very day, and Ali is counting down the days until she can be away from Rebecca to live life on her own terms.
Currently, Ali is a fresh high school graduate as of the first day of June. Although she was accepted at a couple of universities, she’s decided on attending California’s own Stanford University: her one ticket to freedom. She is scheduled to begin her adventure as a college student this upcoming fall.
Elli, mainly because it's shorter. Although it has brought on some teasing from other kids and his brother since it sounds like a girls name.

PERSONALITY
When you think about the Everett family you imagine a family of free spirits and an affinity for the arts. Well you wouldn't be that wrong since two actors would spawn kids that joined drama club or art. Elliot could not be further from that, he despised drama club and he can't paint to save his life. Elliot prides himself on being more grounded in logic and hard work, he has always been a hard worker and will finish everything he starts. He also sees what the rest of his family does for work is ridiculous.
Elliot is also very confrontational, if he sees something he doesn't agree with he will say something about it. He sometimes gets very heated in those confrontations and pounds tables and throws things. But when he calms down he will feel bad and apologize if he feels he was in the wrong. His family situation has left him with a lot of anger issues which he is trying to work on. Elliot is a very laid back guy otherwise, he loves sitting in the tree house when no one else is around just looking at the night sky or playing his guitar on the beach.
If there is something he gets from his parents it's his confidence, some might say he is cocky or arrogant but he just believes in himself. Though that comes out the wrong way most of the times. If you get on Elliot's good side he will do anything to help you and keep you happy. He will defend his friends tooth and nail if someone is trying to put them down.
HISTORY
To say that Elliot Everett's childhood was rocky is putting it lightly. He was born in to a family that was used to having everything and George and Freya wanted their children to have the upbringing that they thought they needed. So for the first few years of Elliot's life they were living the sweet life his parents were the sweethearts of the press and Elliot was featured in a lot of different magazines as a baby. To bad that his father had an affinity for booze and gambling, resulting in George getting the family in to a lot of debt. This caused a rift between his parents and they began to argue almost every night.
His family has been in debt most of his life, but still they try to keep up the appearance. With a lifestyle that they cannot sustain they had to rely on family and friends to bail them out of hard times, which made Elliot resent his parents even more. At a young age Elliot decided he would carve out a path of his own and work for his own money and make a life for himself. At the age of 12 he got his first job as a buss boy and kept working his way up after school and on the weekends and now he works in the kitchen as a line cook. He has been saving up in secret, because he's scared that if his family finds out he has money to spend they'd ask him to help pay for their mistakes.
The last straw for Elliot came when they sent Lincoln to college with money they had to beg from family and friends. He had never been so embarrassed in his whole life even at the age of 14. He wowed then and there that he would never rely on anyone but himself. One could say that he is the black sheep of his family, since he has grown distant from them, and he spends more time out of the house than in it. Elliot likes spending time over at the Cabarnet house when they spend the summers on the island, hanging with is best friend. He also likes to talk wine with the Hollingsworth family, whatever keeps him from his own family.
In Depth Appearance Lincoln Everett is attractive. It's possible that Lincoln could be more attractive. However that would require him to clean up his appearance, something he wouldn't do. Much to the chargin of his parents, Lincoln is incredibly scruffy. His dark hair is constantly tousled, giving the appearance that he just rolled out of bed. His eyes are a mix of light grey and blue, and his eyebrows are thin and curved. His forehead is usually covered by his fringe. He stands tall at 6"1', though his shoulders are slight for his height and his arms are thin.
His jawline slopes down to a point , and his chin (like his forehead) is oddly large. He has attempted to grow a beard many times, but has never gotten past having a little spreading of stubble. His nose slightly resembles a ski ramp, something he got teased for at school. His mouth is incredibly thin, set in a slight frown, even though he is prone to smiling. On his upper right arm he has a tattoo of the Jedi Order symbol.
His style is very grungy, he likes to wear a lot of flannel and it is rare to see him without a beanie hat, even in the summer.
Habits//Quirks//Oddities
- Chain smoker - Rubs knuckles together when thinking - His left eye twitches when he gets angry
Hobbies - Playing poker - Drawing - Sailing - Making model boats (Don't tell anyone!)
Likes - Cats - Mystery novels - Punk music - Having a smoke with his father - Any sci-fi content - Being near the sea
Dislikes - When his stuff gets repossessed - Melodramatic people - Heights - Indecisiveness - Dancing in public
Acid-tounged and bad-tempered, Lincoln doesn't seem like the kind to be well liked by many. Maybe it's his way with words, his strange magnetism, or his laidback aura, but there is something about him that people like. He is not the nicest of people, his insults are acidic and never used sparingly, he seems lazy and frequently fails to see the positive side of things. It seems that he never really got past his angsty, curmudgeonly phase in his teenage years. Despite this, he is often seen smiling and a chilled atmosphere follows him.
Could this be why people genuinely like such a misanthrope? It's not that he dislikes people, but that he likes his people more than he cares to say, so he only tries to be nice to them, but he learnt that if you make a good first impression then people find misanthropy almost charming. He grew up helping his parents practice their lines, and this early exposure to language made him very eloquent from a young age. His sense of humor is very satirical and sardonic, and he is a closet nerd.
His friends know that they can talk to him no matter what, whether they just want to complain about something petty, or reveal their darkest secrets. After having his parents vent to him about each other from an early age, he knows how to listen to people properly and has subsequently become very observant. The advice he gives people is questionable at times, but he's good at making people feel like they're not being judged.
There is a side to him that nobody has seen. He is so confident in front of people that no one could know that he is really insecure. He hates himself. He never learnt how to see the best in himself, only his flaws. Only his grumpiness, his ability to make people feel bad, his pessimsim. How could you like anyone like that, even yourself?
History Judging from the current state of the Everett family, nobody would ever guess that Lincoln had a surprisingly happy childhood. He would often go to big events with his parents, and grew up around some very interesting people. The most surprising part? His parents were happy too. They were in love, it seemed, and so incredibly happy, darlings of the press. Lincoln grew comfortable with media attention quickly.
It all turned sour when Lincoln turned 7. It was his birthday party, and just as he was going to blow out the candles in his cake there was a knock at the door. He couldn't comprehend what happened next. Some men came in, claiming they came from the bank, and began to take away the coffee table in the living room. That night his parents honestly explained to him what happened: his father couldn't repay his debts, so the bank where allowed to take things to compensate.
Surprisingly, this event only drove Lincoln closer to his father. The next day, he tried to sell his old toys to try and earn some money for the family. That evening, when he gave his father the whole $20 he earned, his mother became furious. In her mind George had set poor little Link up to it. They fought all night. Eventually you get used to it, though it never stops hurting.
He only grew closer to his father over the years. When he turned 16 his father threw him a party whilst his mother was doing a show in NY. That night Lincoln discovered cigarettes and learned to play poker, two vices he proudly indulged in later in life. From that day, Lincoln became closer to his father than anyone else in the world.
He left for university at age 18, his tuition fees payed by funds that family friends scraped together. At uni he slept around, gambles like there was no tomorrow. It was only when he nearly got a girl pregnant in a drunken stupor that he decided to clean up his act. He weaned himself off gambling for money, now he plays for fun, and is trying his hardest not end up in bed anything with legs and find a serious relationship, for fear of becoming his father.
Hell knows how long that will last...
Miscellaneous He is studying art in university. He hopes to become a cartoonist one day, like his idol Scott Adams. He draws cartoons for the local news publication in Rosefell. All the character are obvious parodies of people he knows, which he acknowledges but has never outright confirmed. He is awaiting being accused of libel with glee.
In Depth Appearance Wyatt’s 6’2 frame is lean and athletic, he generally has a moderate tan, especially in the summer, and the more time in the sun the lighter his hair tends to get. His dirty blonde hair is normally strategically disheveled and he usually maintains some amount of stubble; without it he has too much of a baby face and his fake ID gets looked at too closely. He has light green eyes, full of life and excitement and a friendly smile, most of the time. As far as his personal style goes he tries to keep a balance between looking like his clothes are expensive brands while also looking like he doesn’t really care about fashion. He gravitates towards high end jeans, hoodies, t-shirts, and jackets. In addition to clothes Wyatt also has a huge collection of sneakers and quite a few watches. Although he tends to dress very casually he also has several nicer outfits and suits when he needs them.

Personality Outgoing/ Brash/ Loyal/ Entitled Wyatt is and always has been a very extroverted and outgoing person. He gets along well with most people, he can talk with just about anyone, and generally enjoys getting to know people. He’s always loved being in the spotlight, which is what drew him to acting, and his ultimate goal is to make a name for himself that’s completely separate from his family’s fame. He has a constant craving for an adrenaline rush, and coupled with his inclination for impulsiveness make doing stupid, daredevil like stunts a second nature for him. He’s also more than willing to just about anything to cheer a friend up or to make a pretty girl smile. One of Wyatt’s favorite things to do is test limits; get himself into trouble just to see what wealth, status, and his own charisma can get him out of and to see how much he can get away with. He has a rebellious spirit, always challenging authority often just for the sake of being adversarial.
Wyatt is incredibly loyal to anyone he cares about, but especially to his siblings. Growing up wealthy and somewhat spoiled Wyatt doesn’t really value money, he just naturally assumes it will be there and is far from fiscally responsible. His warped perception of money also makes him incredibly generous; he constantly uses his parent’s money one people he likes, not to impress them, but because if buy something for someone will make them happier than why not do it. He’s never really worked a day in his life, and doesn’t really care for anything that’s too difficult. A lot of things have come easy for him, athleticism, popularity, and even acting, which while they took some work it was also fun. Things that take hard work though, things that aren’t also fun; Wyatt quickly losses interest and decides it’s not worth his effort.
Wyatt puts a lot of importance on things like status and appearance which leads to his shallow and arrogant tendencies. While he sometimes tries to keep these in check he does frequently judge people based on how the look and dress. He also has a very high opinion of himself, considering himself to be the next great movie star, and he cares a lot about what other people think of him. Wyatt carefully constructs his look, trying to find the perfect balance between looking like he doesn’t care about his looks while also looking like he has money and is well put together. He’s almost always confidant, it takes a lot to shake him or to make him nervous.
Wyatt, like many teenagers, really sees himself as invincible, he likes excitement and adventure and tends to be very reckless. He doesn’t usually think before he acts or speaks but doesn’t have any hang ups about apologizing if he was wrong, at least when it comes to friends, but when it comes to his parents he’s more hesitant to admit when he’s wrong. He’s an optimistic dreamer who believes he can do anything and is quick to follow his every whim but also lazy when things are too much work, refusing to put effort into anything that’s not immediately fun. At his best Wyatt has a warm and friendly energy, he’s quick to include people, and is an honest and loyal friend. At his worse he’s another spoiled, entitled, rich boy. He can be brash, vain, and lacking tact.
History Born the second child, and eldest son, of Jared and Selena Hollingsworth, Wyatt has always enjoyed the wealth, privilege, and status of his family. When it comes to possessions and material things he always had everything he could ever want and then some. However, as a child he always felt in competition with his siblings for his parent’s attention so eventually he focused on getting attention from everyone else around him. He did everything he could to stand out, involving himself in sports and theater as ways to focus the spotlight on himself. He wanted to be exceptional at whatever he did and with anything he wasn’t immediately good at, like academics, he decided wasn’t important; why waste his time on things he’s not good at.
Sports were his first love; Wyatt thrived as the star of his little league team the attention and admiration of his peers was almost like a drug and to see his parents in the stands cheering him on, when they had the time to make it to a game, was even better. He continued with baseball as he got older as well as trying his hand at soccer, swimming, football, and tennis but by the time he hit high school his main focus was on lacrosse. However, Wyatt always knew that while he was good with most sports and loved competition professional level was never going to be for him. So, while being the star attacker for his high school lacrosse team brought him popularity he began to shift more of his focus on theatre during his junior year.
Acting was always fun for Wyatt, staring as the big bad wolf in his elementary school’s production of The Three Little Pig’s was where it all began. As a child, being praised for his ability to play pretend was great and being on stage, with everyone in the room completely focused on whatever he said or did made him sure that this was something he wanted to do for the rest of his life. The level of fame giving to the major movie stars is what Wyatt craves, he wants people to know his name, to be internationally recognized in a way that has nothing to do with his family and everything to do with him alone.
His parents prevented him from becoming a child actor, though if he had his way it would’ve certainly been the path he would have chosen. Instead they have constantly tried to get him to focus on school and academics, with his father especially wanting him to end up working within the family business and to stop focusing on “pipe dreams.” Wyatt hates both wine and the idea of spending his adult life doing something as mundane as helping run the family business, no matter how profitable that business, is a fate worse than death in his eyes.
Wyatt has also spent most of his life getting into trouble; vandalism, pulling pranks, skipping, and more recently using and selling recreational drugs. Partially for the adventure of the experience and partially to see just how much he can get away with. He’s used to his parent’s status and wealth getting him out of any trouble he gets into and has come to expect that; Wyatt doesn’t worry about consequences and just subconsciously seems himself above them. Whenever his parents were away he always took the opportunity to throw huge parties, he loves being surrounded by happy people having a good time and his parties made it easy for him to make friends with those his parents would call “the wrong sort.”
Although Wyatt always looks forward to spending time with the other children of Rosefell, he also knows his parents are hoping spending the summer away from his school friends, the “bad influences,” will keep him out of trouble for a couple months. Normally they write off his bad behavior as typically teenage rebellion that he needs to get out of his system but more recently they have tried a sterner approach, specifically after his near expulsion from his high school featuring him and a friend getting high and hitting golf balls off the roof of the school during 3rd period. His spending habits, his drug use, the drinking, partying, trouble at school, his abysmal SAT scores, and his refusal to take going to college seriously have driven a wedge between his parents and him. The harder they push the more he rebels and he’s already more than decided to find ways to get into trouble in Rosefell this year.
