Alteration: The TsundereMirror Shadow "The Epitome of Intuition"
Reina is granted the intuition to understand complex things like math, anyone's alteration and physical movements to duplicate at her disposal. The mechanics of her ability is simple yet complicated to herself; she needs to witness ones abilities therefore sight is required. Reina's cognitive activity is ten times than a normal human which allows her to understand the complex subjects and said alteration/physical movements in the first place.

To quote herself on copying; "Yes just because you know how something works, it doesn't mean that you will be better than the original. You don't just know 'kay? My ability is like an html coding, I need to know the raw data of my unwitting donor and work my brains out to even comprehend it! What a hassle. I'm no Brock Nor Lee either you know, if I were to replicate a Kungfu master's moves, do you think I would succeed? OF COURSE NOT! That's like breaking my bones to death! It's worst than C++ and Java coding. At the same token, I might not even fully understand shit."

Downside:
Reina's alteration allows her to understand anything at a faster rate than one could which means she has a good memory which bites her in the back with her unpleasant memories whether asleep or not so expect unwanted mood-swings every now and then. It also puts a huge strain on her nervous system/hormones considering that she must be physically and mentally able to replicate and since her alteration requires sight, anything that is too complex to comprehend or too fast for her to see won't allow her to replicate at all. Sadly, she can only copy one alteration at a time and it may not even remain for her to use, the rule of thumb dictates that a faker can never be as good as the original unless put into practice.

Not to mention, whatever the copied ability is, Reina will have the same weaknesses as the original such as a fire user's weakness is overheating.

Funny thing is(For running gag), in spite of having an ability that is induced in cognitive activity, Reina keeps forgetting people's names and just dismisses them with random names.

Personality:
Reina appears to be peculiar to most people with her constant shifts of behavior/attitude, she can be too quiet, too noisy, too sad, too happy, too energetic, and too lewd too stupid all in one day, name it. When in the right mind, Reina is an amiable individual with critical thinking habits, having a strong sense of curiosity as she's willing to ask a lot of questions and throw even more questions! She may appear quiet but apparently it's because of her selective affection which means she's extremely talkative to those who she may become close with. Like most Japanese stereotypes, she has a degree of politeness and weirdly would give anyone honorifics and even pet names. It comes to a point that she has no sense of personal space which she herself doesn't know!

WARNING! Never call her a Tsundere. Don't ASK. JUST DON'T OR your life depends on it.

Appearance:
Reina has raven hair and the a customized version of the Japanese hime-cut hairstyle and often times she ties her hair in pony tails and comes up with many wild hairstyles. Her outfit mostly is boyish and she hates skirts because it gets in the way of her parkour activities, ironically she contradicts herself by wearing skirts.

Other:
Reina has a meaningful surname. The surname Fuyoeru means "The right to earn". Fuyo means 'allowance' and Eru means 'to acquire', more so her name Reina means Queen.

Her hobbies are watching wrestling, documentaries, anime and visual novels. Lost Horizon, Ghost In The Sea, Ramen Master: Noruto, Phoenix Ball Z, K-Off, Paid, Not! Free and Fate Don't Stay at Night are her favorite anime and the golden hits Two Piece, Bleach Detergent: How to clean your laundry and Runaway from a Titan. It doesn't show however.

Her favorite sport is Badminton.

Her favorite food is Italian Sausage.

I'm not sure if Rosie fits the RP at the moment. I went with a character with very basic powers with no real practical applications, which could be grown in a number of different ways as the story progressed, but everyone else has characters who already have far stronger abilities than she does. I might need to rethink her design to buff her up to their level, just to make her capable of competing fairly with the other students.

There's a number of different directions I could go based on a character who can control the chemical composition of her skin, as well as changing her appearance to some degree, but I need to try and balance out the options before commiting to anything too early.

Lea Boscán, Born From the Soil

APPEARANCE

She tends to keep her leaves up in a ponytail while indoors as to not have them inconvenience others, but when outdoors she releases her huge amount of leaves in order to take in as much sun as possible.

NAME: Lea Boscán

SEX: Female

AGE: 16

NATIONALITY: Venezuelan

ALTERATION: "Born From the Soil: Eucalyptus Radiata"
Lea's alteration is one of the most extreme ever seen and not necessarily because of its power or destructive potential. It is extreme because whoever develops this alteration, essentially transforms into another species entirely. In the span of a year after showing the first symptoms, the Alterated's body develops into the body of a humanoid plant. They get their sustenance from photosynthesis much as a plant and only require sun and water to survive. Adding to that the much tamer metabolysm of a plant, those with Born From the Soil as their alteration have shown little to no sign of aging, implying that they might have the natural lifespan of ancient trees.

Lea's specific brand of Born From the Soil has turned her hair into Eucalyptus Radiata leaves complete with the medical applications associated. Her skin has turned green and soft like leaves and she's become much more in tune with nature. She's shown exceptional talent in anything related to plants, such as gardening. Of course, she's also very sensitive to anything related to plants dying or being hurt.

Aside from the physical changes induces by Born From the Soil, the Alteration bestows its user with moderate control over plant matter. This control at its maximum power can be used to help reinforce buildings or entangle violent individuals in roots. It's safe to say that the Alteration is useless in environments with no plant life, such as deserts or most buildings.

Downside: The downsides are clear in Lea's case. Whenever she goes more than 24 hours without sunlight she starts feeling lethargic, which ends in her falling into a deep slumber three days into the sunless endeavor. The same happens with water. She needs to either drink a gallon of water a day or spend an hour or two swimming in a pool of safe-to-drink water.

As expected, fire can be very dangerous for those with Lea's alteration, as leaves are far to quick to catch fire and the rest of the body doesn't fall behind. Of course, they're relatively quick healers, but spending a second too long while on fire is often the difference between life or death with these people, as there comes a moment when the fire cannot be put out until the outer layer of their bodies (ie their skin) has all burned off.

RARITY: Rare

PREFERRED CLASSES: Lea is a big fan of P.E., since the class gives her a good outlet to all the energy she has. She's also a fan of anything related to plants and extends her passion over to even Biology classes, because they sometimes speak about plants and how plants are so useful to animals.

Finally, she's got an interest in Art classes, because she likes toying with the idea of designing her own clothing.

PERSONALITY: Lea's a very friendly and outgoing person, often enjoying the presence of other people around her and seeking out contact. When she's alone, she tends to be very mellow and relaxed as in those times she's either sunbathing or soaking in water. She's often seen as hyperactive and scatterbrained by her peers, and the truth is that she actually is like that; it's a trait that's taken to a high degree by the extra energy she has all the time from the overabundance of sun she gets.

Whelp, here's my character, what do you guys think? Before anyone asks, yes she can eat. No she won't eat veggies, she's a Carnie (how do you even call pure carnivores??). And no, she can't eat too much. Only a couple bites and she's done, if she eats too much she gets sick :p

All the other characters are on a different power level to Rosie and I can't see a way of changing her without ruining how I was picturing her and her later progession. A Lost Soul from the Dread

"Desire...? Wish...? Dream...? I don't... understand those things..."

Alteration: Pandemic Nightmare
Agni's Alteration allows him to manipulate nightmares. With it, he can allow them to exist in reality and use them as attacks. The best representation of those powers comes in form of summoning. For an example, Agni can summon illusionary wolves to attack his foes and depending on how he uses them, those nightmares can gradually become more powerful. He's also able to summon Cerberus, the Great Beast of Hades, as his familiar and summon spirit whenever he desires to. Agni's power allows him to create the Nightmare Dimension, which allows him to summon nightmares at a faster rate, while also changing from his human form to his Paradox Form.
Downsides:
1. Loss of Emotions: Thanks to his Alteration, Agni lost all ways of showing the emotion he's currently feeling. His voice is rather cold-sounding and his face never seems to change from its normal. In a way or another, he's almost as a menreiki, except he has no masks to use in order to substitute the fact his facial expression will remain the same.
2. Light Resistance = Weak: Agni's Alteration is Dark-element based, so Light elemental attacks inflict far more damage to him.
3. Nightmare Dimension's Strength: Once the Nightmare Dimension is active, Agni is able to summon nightmares at a faster rate. However, all of his attacks will have a -50% strength to compensate for the +50% casting rate.
Rarity: Unique
Preferred Classes: Math, English, Philosophy, Psychology.
Personality: With or without his emotions, Agni is very silent, though that doesn't mean he won't engage in conversations. He's rather used to loneliness, so he feels no sort of problem being left behind by others. However, he fully enjoys the company of the people he likes. Agni can be rather blunt and speak his honest opinion about others, which could hurt them without the intention to. He loves to study and is a bookworm.

Having slept on it, I've come up with a new character who might work better on the power level of the others.

Name: Temperance "Temper" Ursula Fuggitt

Alteration:

Chronokinesis - The ability to suspend her perception of time, allowing Temper to 'freeze' the environment around her so she can act at her own pace without others being able to interfere.

Downside:

Drag Coefficient - Since her powers freeze the world around her, moving through it can become difficult the further she goes from her starting point. This is cuased by the air solidifying in front of her as she pushes the molecules together without them being able to push others out of the way to make room for them. To Temper this feels as if she's swimming underwater, with the pressure building slightly with each step she takes as though she was diving deeper each time.
Time Lag - Spending time is the frozen state causes Temper to go out of sync with the rest of the world, and if she uses her power too much she ends up living far longer days then everyone else around her. While a minute or two here and there isn't too much of a problem, anything more than an hour per day would leave her out of step with the rest of the world.

To most Temper seems laid back and lethargic, her movements always slow to the point where she seems to take every action with extreme reluctance. This is mainly due to her having grown up with the ability to take her time whenever something needs to be done, and when urgent action is required she simply slips into her 'thinking time' to make sure things go exactly how she wants them to.

Other:

• Due to the displacement of air whenever she moves while using her powers people can always tell when she has used them by the thunderclap of compressed air rushing back into the space she's passed through. The further she moved, the louder the noise produced is.
• Chronologically Temper was only born 12 years ago, but due to the use of her powers she's aged 16 years during that time. If she keeps using them too much she'll die of old age before anyone in her class reaches middle age.
• Using her powers hyperaccelerates Temper's metabolism, causing her to burn calories at an alarming rate. To combat this she's almost constantly snacking on high calorie foods to keep herself energised. Since she's almsot immediately burning these calories though, Temper rarely puts on weight, and since she moves at a casual pace even in 'thinking time' she has little physical strength and stamina.
• Temper dislikes using computers, since she finds them too slow. When in her 'thinking time' the machines are just as frozen as everything else and the only way to get them to work is to slip back into 'boring time' along with everyone else. For ente4rtainment she carries around a satchel full of books, although she's quickly running out of things to read since new books are never published fast enough for her tastes.
• While is her 'thinking time' lightwaves become compressed in comparison to Temper, causing the area she's in to become blueshifted. Perhaps because of this Temper's favourite colours tend to be blues, indigos and violets, colours which she finds comforting and peaceful. When in 'boring time' Temper wears blue tinted glasses to help keep her vision unimparied when using her powers.
