Personality:
There are many stories in the media about Terry, and how intense and driven he is. Having lived somewhat in the public eye from birth, the scion of an empire that brings new art into the world, he's grown very used to it the attention, and the stories that circulate about him. One would expect him to be absurdly formal, upright, and impassioned in person. That could not be further from the truth.
In person, he's the most relaxed, free-spirited, nonchalant guy you'll ever meet. He's not friendly per se, he does appear to be a bit aloof at times, but he's laid-back and does his best to make his tenants feel accepted as soon as they step through the door of his building. Many people note his passion for music, and he loves hearing fellow artists talk about their passions. He may come off as pretentious at times, but he truly cares about his music.
When he gets angry or seriously impassioned is when you meet the man that the press talks about. He has been known to miss meals and sleep when he's working hard on a project, and becomes very irritable. He finds it hard to regulate this behaviour, and it has caused him serious problems in the past.
Like his father, he has an addictive side. His vice is not drugs, but work. He drowns himself in work to escape his problems. If you could stop him from working, then he'll find some other way to occupy himself. His childhood with a drug-addled father was not ideal, and at heart, he seeks some form of connection to make him feel needed. So he'll work until you don't need him.
In a relationship, Terry has a similar philosophy. He's a true giver, who'll do practically anything to please his significant other, asking for nothing in return, and his passionate side seeps through again. He does, however, frequently get jealous, but he tries his hardest to regulate that.
Aspiration:
As much as he adores Birch House, Terrence wants his cousins to share some of the responsibility for it so he can pursue his true ambitions: become a composer. His dream is to be a famous composer one day, along with the likes of Alexandre Desplat and Johnny Greenwood.
Theme song:
I Won't Hurt You - The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band
I'm an untouched diamond
That's golden and brilliant without illumination
Your mouth's a constellation
Stars are in your eyes
