I have the thing built in my head just not time to type it out. I apologize for the incomplete but I wanted you to have an idea of what I was working on. That's sort of what I had in mind. Basira would be great for helping figure out what course to take, at listing pros and cons and arguing for either/any choice. The final decision though, would be where team work came in haha.

So what's your name?
Edgar Cornelius Grumblebutt but everyone just calls me ECG. People today are so lazy they can't even be bothered to get the words out properly.

Why do you look like that?

You're weird. I bet you can do some cool stuff.
Course I can. I'm old. Have you met George? He's my best friend., he goes everywhere with me. He's a rock. I talk to them you know. All of them. They come when I call, we play games together, they help me out when I ask, keep me safe, and look to me for protection. I talk with the trees and plants too, but they are so silly, like teenagers they are. Very stupid. I prefer not to spend my time with them. The rocks will outlast them all; much better if you ask me. Why back in my day geology mattered, not like these days when everyone just goes about their business uncaring of the ground they trample underfoot. And everyone is so rude, they don't even say a how-do-you-do or a thank-you. Boyo let me tell you something about all these young whippersnappers these days...wait a minute are you sleeping? Damn kids!

So where's your home? Is it as weird as you are?
Anywhere that people aren't and rocks are. I spend a lot of time in the walls of the tangle, few people realize if you ask the rock walls nicely they will make space for you. But people are stupid. I don't really like them anyway. Do you know they are always getting my friends dirty? I'm forever having to sneak into homes and wash down the walls and floors. Uncaring idiots I tell you! The lot of them.

What's your favorite candy?
Rock candy of course!

Do you have any?
Always. I'm not sharing if that's what your asking.

High Concept: (something that defines your character): Like Rock Like Human
Explanation: Like the rocks I spend my days with I am old, stubborn, and set in my ways. I have been around forever and I'm not going away any time soon. I've weathered time and change, endured the unimaginable, and while I may be physically diminished it takes a lot to wear me down completely for my heart and mind are as unyielding as stone.

Trouble: (something that causes grief for your character): Grumblebutt: What's In a Name
Explanation: I dislike people in general, actually anyone or anything that isn't as steady as stone. And that is pretty much everyone. I could complain about them all day, it's actually a pretty good way to spend the day. They are rude, they don't care about the rock around them, they spread dust and dirt wherever they go, they trample my friends, they can't focus on any one thing, they wouldn't notice a volcano if it erupted out of their ass...I'd love to go on but you look like your falling asleep again. I'll just smack you instead.

1st Aspect: Geology Rocks
Explanation: I've learned much about geology, from the huge to the microscopic, in my long years. And yet I keep obsessively studying all the aspects of geology in and around me in the constant search for new knowledge. Knowledge gained is worth any risk.

2nd Aspect: Knowledge Must be Shared
Explanation: I may not like people but I devoutly believe giving lectures and sharing my expertise. Particularly since no one seems to give an ounce of consideration to the ground they walk on. Sometimes one must be a bit forceful because no one listens these days. Thankfully the rocks often help me out so I can keep people's attention. Are you falling asleep again?

3rd Aspect:Sure Footed
Explanation: I understand the ways of rocks, gravel, dirt, earth. I can sense the changes within these things, understand how to balance upon these things, even the narrowest rock ledge is like a wide road to me. I don't need my eyes, I feel my way over the rocks, connect with them in a way few ever understand.

4th Aspect: Earth Below Me
Explanation: I dislike any situation where I don't have solid ground under me. Dislike might not be strong enough a word. Terror and disgust might be more appropriate. In my very loud opinion anyone who travels by boat, bridge, flying, etc are simply put...dumbasses.

The Door

The Door is set into the rock outer wall of the Tangle, where the map marks an opening. By day, the door stands open, a passage into the unknown worlds beyond, and guarded by the Sphinx, Basira, who tests any who hope to enter the Tangle. By night and in times of great peril, the gate is closed.

Also, speaking of indecision, I have changed Basira's picture... again.

@Nieszka The Door is perfect! I wonder how to go about canonizing it though. Maybe post it under your CS somehow? And I'll reference/link it, so I don't feel like I'm plagiarizing. xD

@mokley I had a plan. It might even be a good plan. 😛 1) ECG is a defender of the stone and rock in the tangle, they look to him for protection. And something is messing with his rocks, moving them around (I made the assumption the stone passages were not voluntarily moving around...if this is wrong this whole point is invalid but reason 2 should still work) 2) he is obsessed with learning more about rock and stone and the ways of the earth...discovering how to turn people into rock would likely be the most important thing he could ever learn. That is worth any risk for such knowledge.

That’s not a question, but you’re right. As I’ve said I’m small and I fly, so there aren’t many places I can’t go. That’s a very helpful skill when you don’t know where you’re going. Oh! I can also talk to animals. They talk back too, if I’m nice enough.

I’ll let you know when I find it. I can’t quite remember where it was, but I’m pretty sure I’m getting closer. It’s been awhile since I’ve been home but I think I’ll know it when I see it!

High Concept: The Lost Faerie
Explanation: An accident left his memory a bit jumbled. He wanders the Tangle in search of his home.

Trouble: Not All Who Wander Are Lost, But I Am
Explanation:Many years have passed since Finn lost his way, yet he is still plagued with homesickness and loneliness. He has seen many strange things, however, and has visited nearly every part of the Tangle.

1st Aspect: I Cannot Tell A Lie
Explanation: Faeries are naturally incapable of lying. This does not stop them from avoiding the truth however, and many are adept at manipulation through talking around the truth. Finn tries his best.

2nd Aspect: Did You Hear That?
Explanation: Finn’s attention span is shorter than he is. He gets distracted easily, sometimes by things that are not even there.

3rd Aspect: It’s Nice To Meet You
Explanation: Finn almost never remembers a face. He has not recognized people he has met the day before at his worst. He has a few tricks for remembering people he deems important enough.

@Moon Hihi hullo! :D Finn seems absolutely wonderful -- totally approved! I was gonna mention that his high concept and trouble seem to be very similar ... but I can't think of a way to improve on it. Do you have an idea about where he actually came from, or are you leaving that up to me? >:3

@Mokley I agree, I'll try to figure out how to differentiate those a bit. Perhaps use the wanderer part as the concept and the lost bit as the trouble.

I had a few ideas as to where he'd be from but leaving it up to you might be interesting. He doesn't know where it is and neither do I type of thing.

@Moon I'd be curious to hear those ideas in either case! :D Definitely, at the very least, it might expand on our worldbuild so far. (PM is awesome if they're secrets!)
