Sure. I've been watching for the new D&D dice rolling thread for three weeks.

Same setting, and here is the basics for character sheets.

Standard point buy, no rolling for stats.

All races in standard, Xanthar, and UA approved but if you want to use a home brew clear it with me.

All classes from standard, Xanthar, and UA approves but again anything homebrew or third party bring it up with me first.

We will start at level 3.
For starting items you may have items given to you via your first class and your background. After that you have 500 GP budget for anything else.

You are allowed alchemical items like alchemy fire or potions of healing, but no purchasing of magical or wonderius items even if they’re cheap.

More rules later on as I think about them.

Also I'm debating if I want to redo this RP with D&D elements or just straight up take it to the Sword Coast. Depends on what you guys are feeling for.

Off the top of my head I believe there’s a homebrew fighter archetype that is the gunslinger.

Its a great class, but Roy looses his ability to use a sword properly. That's not gonna be a good thing when baddies are coming in close. Though I wouldn't mind making a character for a DnD home brew campaign with the gunslinger class in mind irl.

If you can find it make a 5e homebrew that would work better, show it to me and I’ll see how it’ll do. I’ll admit it’s somewhat hard to find a class that does the sword-and-gun combo well, so I’m open to adjustments and suggestions.

Ah I see, I was on mobile previously so that option didn't come up for me.

Alright reading through it, this seems fine. I'm hesitant to allow the Swashbuckling fighting style however, dex/str+charisma will ensure a lot of hits happening. Instead I will allow this: Swashbuckling can do additional damage equal to your charisma modifier, but only one finesse weapons.

Not sure. Really depends on the plot I'd run. We're either going to do a classic fantasy romp or just rehash Raiders of Norn in the 5E system. Thoughts?

I play a lot of barbarians but never fighters for some reason. So I might try fighter this time around.
