Appearance: The young man stands at around the average height at 5’9” and is fairly well built, though he tends to hide it with baggy band shirts and hoodies most of the time. He has light brown hair, which is straight and falls just below his ears. He often wears it with a fringe swept over his right eye. His eyes are a dark blue, though are rarely seen behind his hair.
Age: 19
Instrument(s): Guitar (Main), Vocals, Keyboard.
Description: Marcus first comes across as quiet and introverted, and is fairly shy around new people. Once he gets comfortable, however, his true personality shines. He loves talking about his passions, especially music, and could talk for hours once he starts. He likes to feel useful, and is always there for his friends, or almost anyone really. He always tries to be on everyone's good side and is trusting to a fault. As a lot of creative people are, he is prone to unexpected bouts of near crippling depression that can last anywhere from an hour to a week. This can often leave him bedridden for days on end. He also often puts other people's happiness and well being above his own. There are also short times where he will keep to himself due to thinking that he is just a bother to everyone around him. He often gets over it quickly, but it is always there at the back of his mind. He tries to be calm and collected, but is often quick to overreact and over think most things. Even the tiniest issue can turn into a horrible world altering disaster in his mind if he lets it. Marcus is very opinionated, and often struggles to find the line between assertive and and aggressive when it comes to arguments, especially when it's something he's passionate about. Secretly, he is a hopeless romantic. He often keeps it hidden to avoid getting hurt, but it's there, and he can't wait to find someone to finally share that side of him with.
Brief Backstory: There isn't much to say about Marcus' childhood. The youngest of 3 boys in a family of musicians, he was always supported when it came to music. His parents gave him all the support he needed, though made sure that he knew how hard it is to make it in the music industry, so that he wasn't blindsided if he chose to pursue it. Despite the warnings, Marcus always made it very clear that music was what he wanted to do with his life. He went through school as somewhat of a wallflower, sticking to his own small circle of friends and keeping his head down, and spending most of his free time in the music room.
Miscellaneous Info: Is never seen without a pair of headphones. Has a van. Rides his skateboard most places. Works in the only KFC in town. His father works in the one Music store in town.
Charlotte "Lottie" is petite standing at exactly 5 feet tall and around 104 lbs. She has fair skin that she cakes in makeup when she wakes up for day, or what is left on from the previous night. She has doe eyes of hazel, and originally brown hair to match. She prefers her hair blonde, because they supposedly have more fun. She has a scar along her thigh from where her skin got caught on a fence post. Her ears single lobed pierced. Molly has five tattoos: a cross on her arm, a tear drop on her finger, two fangs on her fingers, and a small star on her neck. All of them were done by a "friend" in her grandma's basement, thankfully they aren't too badly done.
Charlotte is someone that would see you eating lunch by yourself and not hesitate to walk over and keep you company. Granted, she might sit down and end up eating half of your food while she explains to you why she thinks it'd be a good idea for you to go to the movies with her that night to see some new horror flick- but she means well. She is not dumb, but can often appear air-headed and aloof based on her social activities (drinking, smoking, drug use) and her tendency to go off on a tangent of something that she is passionate about or something that didn't really happen. Lottie just wants the best for everyone and herself.

Charlotte is the only daughter of Nicole James; a bar "musician" by night and a custodian at the Elementary School by day. Having only lived with her overprotective mother and grandmother her whole life Lottie tends to go wild whenever she can spare the time. This includes, smoking, drinking, and partying with other seniors her age and even college fraternities when she is given the chance. Though these actions have given her a little bit of a reputation in town, she tries to remain under the radar in school- maintaining relatively healthy friendships and working on her music when she has the chance.

Nightowl. Doesn't know how to ride a bike. Chews her nails when she is nervous. Always has a lighter not belonging to her in her pocket.

Name: Brandi Michaels Appearance:
Her hair is light brown, and her eyes are a soft shade of green.
Age: 19, thank you very much for asking!
Instrument(s): She can play the harmonica. And isn't too bad at rap. Nothing worthy of being on stage, though. Co-manager, takes care of most of planning, scheduling... The nonmusic side of things.
Description: Fairly chipper and laid back, Brandi's generally an easy person to have around. To say she's outgoing isn't exactly right--she's perfectly willing to talk to others, but doesn't seek it out. Nor does she seek being alone, either. She's generally in the moment, conscious of what's going on around her more than whatever else might be going on in the brain of the youngest Michaels sibling.
It's often said, however, that what truly defines a person is how they act in times of crisis. And as the scheduler, planner, and day-to-day manager of a fledging band, there are a LOT of crises. When the pressure's on, Brandi's mind refocuses to a nearly scary degree, rearranging time and resources to an extent that would utterly surprise any teacher who had the rather lackadaisical girl in high school. The only outward indication of the intensity of her thought is the fingers of her right hand--when thinking, her second knuckle on each finger bend and unbend in a pattern that only really makes sense to her, before abruptly stopping when she reaches her final conclusion. It's a nervous tick. Whatever.
That's not her only function in the band, however. In a group of artistic, emotionally fluctuating and unfiltered individuals, Brandi's a rock. Igneous, to be exact. Nothing fazes her too much. Occasionally peeks of vulnerability show through, but they're few and far between unless you really know her. For the most part, she's a constant, sturdy companion, willing ear and willing shoulder. Being easygoing and generally positive can have its perks.
Favourite Genre(s)/Band(s): Classic Rock, some Alternative. Scottish Pirate Metal, though she could just be making that up.
Brief Backstory: Brandi's the youngest of 3 siblings, and the daughter of Scott Charley and Ginny Michaels. She graduated from the same high school as everyone else, though her personality and general attitude made her fly under the radar of most of her fellow students as anything more than a peripheral acquaintance. She's never come off as the most responsible individual, but she seems to have an uncanny knack for time management.
Miscellaneous Info: She sang in the talent show in middle school and was actually pretty good. Hasn't sung for years as far as anyone knows. Always sat in the exact middle of every class she was in. Never speaks too loudly. Can drive stick. Which would help, if anyone had a van.
Instrument(s): Piano, badly, but he doesn’t play on stage. He’s the band’s co-manager and songwriter.
Description: Ryan could be fairly characterized as a dreamer, a gentle soul, or a bit of an odd duck. He’s a largely introverted person, always grappling with big ideas but struggling to express them, and though he’ll usually try to strike up a conversation with anyone he spends time with, he’s absolutely abysmal at ‘small’ talk. He absolutely abhors conflict, and will concede, surrender, or back off of any topic he thinks has a chance of becoming an argument. His main trait that won him a spot as the band co-manager is the fact that he is unconditionally helpful; no matter what anyone needs from him, he will do it, half because of a sense of generosity and half because he’s just truly terrible at saying no. His sense of humor is best described as surreal, and around people he’s become comfortable with he’ll happily share all his unfiltered thoughts and feelings. Unfiltered really is the best word for him – he’s a person of great emotional highs and lows, motivated by his passions, guided by questions he wishes he had an answer to. For him, the band is more than just something to spend his free time on; it’s a chance for all these disparate young people to find a direction, find a future, and for him to have a mouthpiece through which to share his ideas with the world.
Favourite Genre(s)/Band(s): Folk rock, Alternative, indie.
Brief Backstory: Ryan is the product of a broken home – his mother ran out on them when his little sister was a baby, and his father, though never abusive, handled this loss as well as their lower-class conditions with a mixture of neglect and alcoholism, resulting in his becoming the de-facto parental figure for his little sister, Cassie. Everyone in town knows this, and almost nobody knows how to talk to him about it.
Miscellaneous Info: Has a tight five minutes of stand-up comedy. It’s not very good. Loves the Princess Bride. Quotes it roughly two times a conversation. Has a driver’s license, but bikes literally everywhere.
Lawson looks like a 16-year-old, much to his chagrin, a sprinkling of stubble on his chin being the only indication that he was in his early 20s. His eyes are a shade of dark blue, usually seen deep in thought. His hair is a shade of dark brown, almost never styled, as if he just rolled out of bed. His figure is quite large, with broad shoulders, long arms, large hands and feet, standing at 6'2". His sense of style is a mix of rocker and prep: leather jackets and ripped jeans, paired with oxfords, shirts and bow ties. He has a tattoo of the Ramones' logo on his upper back, and a tattoo of an owl on his upper left arm.
Instrument(s): Rhythm guitar, (back-up) vocals, can beatbox.
Description: Lawson is not what one would a charming stranger. He is a very solitary figure, as his unrelenting bluntness and harsh words scare many people off. Unfortunately, his boyish good looks, intelligence and eloquence attract a lot of female attention. Thus, he learnt how discourage people and ward them off when he was young. He is incredibly intelligent, finishing top of almost all his classes at school. Apart from German, a language he believes was truly sent from hell. His anti-social tendencies make him an enigma to most.
The few who are close to him are aware of his undying passion for his music, and his ride-or-die attitude to his friends. He puts his music above all else, can sometimes forgets to eat or sleep when inspiration for a song hits. His Asperger Syndrome compares his social skills, his empathy, and makes him very clumsy, though he truly despises being rude to his friends. He possess a large vocabulary, and enjoys using long words to confuse people.

Natural Black hair: Dyed white, undercut but shaggy on top 5'11 Korean-American Apparel: Wears glasses only when he's not performing :|: Prefers dark colors :|: Black hoodies are his go-to :|: Almost always has headphones on him :|: Has a band tattoo on his right arm
Description: Soft-spoken but "loud-minded". Axel is a thrill-seeker and an opportunists. His words are spoken through beats and rhythm and believes that actions speak louder than words. He doesn't mind trouble as long as it benefits him in the end. All of this can make him come off rude to others, but Axel has good intentions at heart. He's also not afraid to stand up for others and can do a complete 180 on his "soft-spoken" nature when it comes to that.
Brief Backstory: Born in San Francisco, California to South-Korean immigrants. Since his parents worked long hours, Axel spent his time at either internet cafés or working a part-time at the record store. He grew to love rap, taking notes from Notorious B.I.G and Eminem. The pasty Korean kid however, could never fit in to the music scene in California. So he decides to move away in hopes to build up a name. He sets his eyes on Washington, and while he's there to major in computer science, by night he works as a small part-time radio DJ for the local station. He identifies as gay but is still in the closet due to close-minded family.
Miscellaneous Info: "DJ" Name: Laxed Has an American Short-Hair (cat) named Biggie Is in his 2nd year of Uni Bikes everywhere Celebrity crush: Shawn Mendes
Appearance: Tracy is somewhat slender though her height only adds to it. She's just shy of five foot eleven which, by her admission, is why she prefers to wear shorts to flaunt her height and the fact that if it weren't for the music thing she could probably find work as "like a leg model, those exist, right?" Her hair is a natural chocolate brown though she cuts it by herself, leading to her short style having uneven edges and trim to it. She's been considering dying it to really get that whole 'quirky musician' vibe down but she'd much rather be as close to natural as possible; that's also why she doesn't have any ink on her person or much in the way of scars. Her eyes are emerald green and she has a long standing habit of having a to-die-for application of smokey eye.
Age: 19
Instrument: Bass Guitar. She uses a Squier Deluxe Jazz Bass.
Description: Almost by necessity, Tracy has a very 'cool older sister' vibe that comes with experience. It's common to have 'mature' be thrown around but Tracy, for someone that's in the prime of her youth, has a maturity about her that can come off as being 'anti-fun'. The way Tracy sees it, she's more along the lines of 'firm, but fair'. She isn't controlling or domineering to others without cause and she will scold those who need it. But she's not above letting her hair down - metaphorically as her hair is quite short - and going with the flow when she's being a bit too wound up. Tracy wants this whole music thing to work out and given the infancy of the career the last thing she wants is to wind up one hit wonders doing one hits in an alley in a year or two. She isn't free of vices, however, and hers are potentially more devastating than drugs, booze, and rock 'n' roll.
By her own admission, she's also the funniest member of the group. It's hard to say, she's awful at jokes but she has a very dry sarcastic wit to her that makes her a silent assassin in cracking wise.
Favourite Genre(s)/Band(s): Jazz, Funk, Disco, Punk Rock | Parliament Funkadelic, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Jackson Five, Psychic Mirrors
Brief Backstory: Tracy is the oldest of three and the only girl among them. Her mother had to work two jobs to support them since her father passed in a car accident shortly after the birth of Tracy's brothers, Ryan and Aaron. Twins. To help out, Tracy worked what odd jobs she could under the radar, things like sweeping the corner store after school or cutting lawns, and anything she made went to the family. When she turned sixteen she had to balance working as a cashier at a local store and school, which resulted in her grades slipping. Her senior year almost had her failing out as her attendance dropped substantially. Tracy managed to graduate but she didn't walk at graduation; she had to put in overtime.
Having always been a fan of music, listening to her dad's old records and tapes from a young age, the greatest gift she ever got was on her thirteenth birthday when her mother pulled together some funds and favors and gifted Tracy a bass guitar, the very same one she uses still.
Miscellaneous Info: Didn't really hang out with anyone at school and wasn't in any extracurricular clubs or groups. Most people who do know her knew her as the girl behind the counter at the Mom and Pop corner store, the one who sometimes practiced bass on her breaks.
Description: Upon first meeting Kelsey Matthews it is hard to avoid being swept up by his charismatic presence; he seems to exude confidence despite having few achievements to speak of. His sense of savoir-fair serves him well in new and trying social situations. While very charming and friendly, Kelsey also has a penchant for being cold and self-centered. He is not above using others to further his own interests and a plethora of former friends or associates found the ground suddenly gave way under them after their usefulness ran out. It is no surprise that he craves the spotlight and despises not being the center of attention; can be quite the drama queen at times. He takes great pride in his well-maintained appearance and is often accused of being narcissistic, but music to Kelsey is as much of a visual medium as it is an auditory one. He desires to be more than a musician or an entertainer; he sees himself as an artist. Kelsey revels in his vices and much to chagrin of others wears his hedonism like a proverbial badge of honor. In fact like any self-styled libertine his promiscuity often proceeds him. Whether they be one-night stands or long-term lovers he holds no prejudices; he derives pleasure from any gender, any orientation, any race. Despite his aloofness on the subject of commitment deep down Kelsey fears letting anyone close enough to see him vulnerable.
Favorite Genre(s)/Band(s): Glam Rock, Art Pop, Ambient, Electronic
Brief Backstory:To Kelsey the best Superstars are liars and much like his glamorous idols he has created a proverbial bubble of unreality around himself. His true past is muddled by blatant falsehoods and contradictions that he had a direct hand in creating. To those that grew up in the area despite his layers of makeup Kelsey looks vaguely familiar; though some more outlandish gossip circulating certain circles suggest he emerged like Venus from the sea fully-grown.
Miscellaneous Info:
Frequents the small selection of clubs in the area.
Has a license, but he refuses to drive. Not afraid to hitchhike.
Knows how to sew and frequently makes his own outfits.
