Superman is dead, the Justice League is broken, and the world they protected is in need of Heroes. From the ashes of the devastation caused by Doomsday, one Dick Grayson has reformed an initiative from the days of his own youth, The Teen Titans. Previously founded by the efforts of Bruce Wayne, his ex-protegee has taken up this mantle with the former's absence since the unofficial disbanding of the Justice League.

Players may take on the role of original returning Titans, established members of the new team or recent additions. Characters are not simply limited to canonical Titans, but may also be version of DC characters altered to fit into the Titans, be that through changes to age of character. Players are encouraged to experiment with characters, while keeping the core of the characters alive.

Prospective players are highly encouraged to join our discord server, for idea bouncing and later to aid in the running of the game. There may even be IC channels once the RP kicks off.

The general feel of the game is a contained Sandbox, players are allowed to pursue their own storylines, while the Titans as a whole will have to deal with episodic threats building up to larger plot arcs. At the same time, the rp will not solely be about the superhero element of the Titans but also about their own coming of age, and the social side of their lives.

Notes

The Titan Tower

The Titan Tower, while built on the old same sight as it's previous equivalent, is all new to the current era of the Teen Titans. Despite Batman and Bruce Wayne's departure from the awareness of both the wider world and their close friends and family, Wayne Tech is still the source of funding behind the tower. This has several benefits, from state of the art facilities in regards to the Titans formal purpose, to living quarters that would be seen as luxury compared to the backgrounds of most Titans, it is by no means a hard deal for all those involved. Despite this, the Tower comes equipped with uncompromising training facilities, and alternative spartan living quarters for when it may be deemed appropriate to forget the worldly comforts offered by the majority of the Tower's accommodation.

Alias: The Demon Etrigan

Powers/Drawbacks:In his form of man, Jason Blood has no super powers. He is in the physical conditioning of any young adult who partakes in daily exercise. He is weak to anything a mortal man would be weak to.

When in the form of The Demon Etrigan, The Demon has the below abilities:

THE DEMON has a number of notable arcane weaknesses.
The first is his demon heritage leaves him greatly at risk to summoning magic. A powerful enough sorcerer can bind Etrigan to his side. Other Theological ornaments can cause harm to him, such as a crucifix, holy water, and sacred ground. Other physical weaknesses include a vulnerability to Magic Cast Cold abilities, as well as certain sound frequencies can cripple him.

Skills: The Demon is a skilled warrior when it comes to physical combat, but lacks other skills outside of fighting and spell-casting. Jason Blood however has an intimate knowledge and understanding the Arcane, The Occult, Witchcraft, Sorcery. Though he himself is incapable of any sort of battle magic, he is an expert when it comes to Archaic History and Magical Perception.

Bio: Born into a rich family of noble heritage, Jason Blood was handed everything on a silver platter. Despite being such a child of privilege, Jason Blood had a natural aptitude when it came to his schoolwork. He had a near genius-level intellect, and keen instincts when it came to psychology, physiology, and world history. He stood out in his schoolwork from a young age. However, once Jason hit puberty, he became a problematic student - not often for getting into fights of his own, but for goading other precocious students into them. It seemed Jason Blood had a knack for mind-games. His playful attitude when it came to his peers made him a social outcast, widely distrusted by the rest of the student body, and he leapt from one Preparatory School to another, all while his absentee rich parents foot the bill.

To Jason, the real world wasn't as interesting as his peers made it out to be. You see, Jason's family had earned their fortune through a variety of black magic acts, wicked sorcery, and dabbling in the occult. Whereas some children would spend their weekends watching movies with their parents, or going to the park, Jason's parents took him to Secret Societies of robed figures, summoning circles, and their wicked masked masquerades. To Jason this was just what life was. It was likely his exposure to the dark underbelly of the Magic World that started his downward trend towards nihilism. Had he known as a child what his parents were really up to, he'd have turned on them far sooner.

On Jason's 18th birthday, he was brought before yet another one of his parents gaudy masked parties, everyone drinking their red wine. His father rubbing shoulders with prominent demonologists, his mother being too friendly with...well everyone.

But when his father and his friends lead him downstairs to the wine cellar, Jason Blood grew worrisome. The cellar had been cleared, the only thing in the room was a large white hieroglyph he didn't recognize. His father had him study early on all the marks and symbolism when it came to the dark arts. Jason wasn't able to fight back. He was forced into the speaking circle, and there, his father and his friends communed with the devil.

At first, Jason was terrified. He knew what kind of hellish spells could be cast and the kind of damage that could be inflicted upon him. While his parents and their dark companions attempted to sacrifice young Jason Blood to THE DEMON something peculiar happened. Etrigan, the yellow skinned demon with the sharp horns and claws that can rip a man in twain, felt empathy for the boy. instead of Feasting upon him, he made a pact with the boy. Jason would become ETRIGAN's vessel on the mortal plane. Using a sorcerer's curse, the boy and demon were bonded as two souls.

The Demon cast a subservient charm on The Blood's and their hooded friends, and Jason Blood was free.

Now, 5 Months later, Jason Blood and The Demon - as one - are partaking in Etrigan's Crusade. A crusade to rid the world of evil, and protect both this dimension and the next. With the two having only a begrudging respect for each other, Jason has been recruited by DOCTOR FATE to join the West Coast Titans. There he would be able to learn what it is to be truly a hero, and how to respect his newfound powers.

Name: Curtis Falconer
Alias: Aztek

Powers/Drawbacks: So you take this six year old kid, right? and you teach him how to box. He wins a fight against some kid a year older than him and you give him a pat on the back before telling him he did good but now he'd have to do that to Tezcatlipoca. The kid asks who that is, so you tell him that he's that guy's bigger, badder, uglier brother from space who's so mean that nobody wants to fight him because he's so big and strong and scary that even Mr. Sun (Mr. Golden Sun) is scared of him. The kid smiles: He's brave, defaultedly with the lionheart of a hero.

Unfortunately, dark gods of destruction aren't really scared of hearts, so you need to give him weapons. So you train him to fight like the only guy who's ever beaten Tezcatlipoca, Quetzalcoatl (AKA Mr. Q), channeling all of the power from Mr. Qs essence into a suit of armor designed both with sciencific and occultist principles in mind. It can draw, contain and harness fourth dimensional energy, primary that of Mr. Q himself, in order to facilitate functions like density control via lightning fast chemical reactions which can enable him to fly, achieve startling resilience, greatly exaggerate his physical strength and speed, or it can purge that energy in concentrated blasts of heat, plasma, electricity, or pure fourth dimensional energy (the most potent and fuel consuming option). His mask has a HUD that can toggle on and off, showing statistics about the suit itself, and can forgo the default display for a magical heat map like infrared vision, as well as a literal infrared functionality and basic communication assets with room for firmware and hardware updates.

The suits energy refills itself over time, though it can be recharged by acts of raw heroism (literally), being in proximity of a "magic user", absorbing energy from magically powered attacks/assists or metabolizing magically significant objects. Without any fourth dimensional energy in the suit, it's still a pretty sturdy & lightweight suit, but it gets really hot in there. When the power goes out, he still has a few simple tools like wire nets and can even produce tear gas and battons. Barring that, his combat training incorporates enough lessons in Muay Thai, Krav Maga and Judo to send the bullies packing.

Bio: A long time ago, Quetzalcoatl clashed against Tezcatlipoca in a battle whose stakes have been said to have been as simple as good fighting evil, and good triumphed, while Tezcatlipoca retreated. As a sign of favor towards his loyal followers, Quetzalcoatl allowed humans to borrow his strength to overpower the foul Tezcatlipoca whenever the dark god would return. So, in each generation, the followers of Quetzalcoatl would train a champion to house Q's power, outfitting them with cutting edge weaponry to match the hero's insides.

This generation it belongs to Curtis Falconer, a young medical student and child prodigy who resides in Vanity City who was privately schooled by the society with hopes of basically making him better than everyone else. Lots of reading assignments, squats, combat and technical training followed within the confines of a fenced off former bakery. His father had been the previous champion, but his death had always been explained as a curse inflicted by a servant of Tezcatlipoca.

Compelled by the tremendous amount of badness surrounding him, Curt decided to apply his power to stopping a supervillain by the name of The Piper, whose pipe bombs were evidently better made than the armor of Vanity's foremost vigilante, Bloodtype. Having failed to save Bloodtype, Curt felt it was only natural that he become a superhero proper. However, he found it challenging to know which battles to pick in the world, wondering when it was time to fight villains and when it was time to heal the sick. Around this time, the Q Society decided that he was unsuitable as a champion of Quetzalcoatl because of his new personal ambitions, but were simply unable to take the suit from him by any means thus far.

Not having heard from the Q Society for some time, he turned his attention to supervillains and gangsters, like Bloodtype's former sidekick gone psychopath Death-Doll. After having busted up a crew of Joker copycats and acolytes, he was contacted by Nightwing with the opportunity to receive intensive and personalized training and a place within the injured superhero community alongside fellow teenaged titans.

Alias: Arsenal

Weaknesses:

-Lacks Super Abilities: Arsenal is not a meta-human and lacks the abilities many of his companions (and enemies) possess. This also makes Roy somewhat easy to kill by conventional means.

-Highly Addictive to alcohol/drugs: Roy has an addictive personality. He is currently recovering from the consequences of his addictions to fetanyl and alcohol.

Skills:

-Agile: Roy has years of self-training in acrobatics, as well as a few years of training under the watch of the Green Arrow.

-Expert Marksman (Archery): A natural talent of his. Roy has expert proficiency with a bow and arrow.

-Proficiency in wide array of weaponry: Roy has trained with a variety of weaponry over the years, especially as Oliver's sidekick. This makes Roy dangerous in nearly any situation with nearly any weapon.

-Martial Arts Proficiency: Training under the Green Arrow, Roy's regimine was strict and included proficiency in martial arts to keep the sidekick safe in case CQC was necessary.

-Proficiency in Gadgeteering: Roy's unique skill and expertise in crafting gadgets is one of the primary abilities that sets Roy apart from his former mentor. Roy helped to craft Oliver's trick arrows, and uses his skills to develop his own gadgets and trick arrows to help him fight on the same level as meta-humans.

Bio

Roy Harper was 4 when his father died. His father was a forest ranger who worked near the Navajo Reservation. A raging fire had broken out in the region, and Roy’s father was one to always put other’s lives first. He rushed into a burning building to save a child, and later that evening died from his injuries. Roy was taken in by the tribe, given he had nowhere left to go.

Roy gained an informal training in archery after the child picked up a proper bow and arrow at the age of six and proved to have innate talent. Roy continued developing this skill, primarily on his own, whilst also partaking in bouldering and displays of agility. By the age of 14, Roy had clearly demonstrated a defined vigilante skill set that would lead to his adoption as Oliver Queen’s sidekick.

Roy developed another impressive skillset at the age of 11, namely his skill in working with electronics. Roy’s adoptive father worked at a small electronics shop, and the man taught the child the inner-workings of computers and phones. At age 12, Roy managed to build himself a computer from spare parts and his access to the internet intensified his love for electronics. Roy taught himself how to design various gadgets, managing to build himself his own cell phone and begin designing trick arrows on his own.

At the age of 13, Roy began to steal from local liquor stores. Roy blacked out on one of these nights, and awoke next to his dead adoptive father with a bow and arrow in his hands. Roy left the reservation and never looked back, making his way to Star City. It was there that Roy was living on the streets and using his skills to not only make money for himself (helping build burner phones, minor hacking, etc.), but also to try and do the right thing. Roy stepped up during a bank robbery nearby by using his own bow and arrow for the first time in months to help the Green Arrow.

Oliver Queen adopted Roy, and the two began their partnership for about 2 years. Early on as Oliver's apprentice, Roy took on the title of Speedy (a nickname given by Oliver) and joined the Teen Titans as an early member of the original team. During the two years working with Oliver and the Titans, Roy became increasingly compromised from his addictions, until Oliver found out and renounced him. The Teen Titans similarly revoked Speedy's membership until he sought proper treatment. At the age of 16, Roy was all on his own with no home and no friends. He did, however, choose to clean himself up to prove that Oliver Queen was wrong.

Roy went to rehab for five months, and immediately joined an AA support group once he completed the regimen. He sought to prove he could turn his life around and be a hero to those in need. Recently, Roy adopted the persona of Arsenal and began working as a vigilante once again, using the resources he had left when working with the Green Arrow as Speedy. It was only a matter of time before the Titans would find the young vigilante and bring him into the fold once again.

Powers/Drawbacks:
Sonic Cannons built into his arms and numerous other gadgets installed throughout his body. His only real drawback is that if he's not connected to a power source after a given amount of time he runs out of "juice" and tends to have a more difficult time maneuvering around or firing his sonic cannons.

Skills:Large portions of Victor Stone's body have been replaced by advanced mechanical parts (hence the name Cyborg), granting him superhuman strength, speed, stamina, and flight. His mechanically-enhanced body, much of which is metallic, is far more durable than a normal human body. Cyborg's internal computer system can interface with external computers. Other features include an electronic 'eye' which replicates vision, but at a superhuman level. His mechanical parts contain a wide variety of tools and weapons, such as a grappling hook/line and a finger-mounted laser.
Bio:
Cyborg was a promising strong teenage athlete named Victor Stone before an accident that killed his mother and injured him so severely that his father replaced the damaged body parts with cybernetics to keep his son alive. But since these mechanical parts were not inconspicuous, he was shunned by his home environment and his friends, which frustrated him greatly. One night, Cyborg took to the streets wearing a hoodie to cover his cybernetic parts, where he ran into the new arrivals Robin and Beast Boy fighting a rather violent alien girl, who was actually a fugitive from a prisoner transport. Soon joined by the mystery girl Raven, the youngsters teamed up to defeat the girl's alien captors and formed a permanent team to combat villainy. These days, Cyborg can be found with his fellow teammates around the Titans HQ or off on his own taking down crime around the city making a name for himself to build on his heroic reputation. Being a founding member of the Teen Titans he's generally respected among the newer members and often is seen as a bit of wise-ass from time to time.

Zatanna Zatara

Name: Zatanna Zatara
Alias: Magic
Age: 18
Powers/Drawbacks: Teleportation: She can send herself and/or anyone to anyplace she visited before and knows the place by heart or places she sees.
Force Field: Zatanna can create magical shields to withstand bullets, blasts, blows and explosions. The greater the size or density of the shield the more effort it takes Zatanna to hold.

A minor skill that Zatanna has is Umbrakinesis: Generate and manipulate magic shadows but it's taxing on her power and she can get drained completely from using this kind of magic.

Mnemonic Incantation: Zatanna casts her spells by saying the words of her incantations backwards. Mnemonic incantation is the most complicated of the mystic arts. She must be able to speak or read backwards in order for her to focus her spells.
Vulnerability to Magic: Powerful enchantments against beings of magic, like gods, are able to restrict her as well, preventing her from accessing enchanted places or dispel the adverse charm.

Bio: Zatanna's father was a common enemy of the original Teen Titans but never wished for Zatanna to join him in his villainy so when she was 6, she sent her to live with her mother in Europe.
Her mother didn't knew about Zatanna's father villainous career and it came as a surprise for her when she saw Zatanna on her doorstep with some money and a message "Keep her safe, J."
When Zatanna was old enough to leave her home, she went back into the States to talk with her father. Her powers were getting stronger and wished for her father to train her. That was when the Teen Titan program was announced with no information on the whereabouts of her father, she joined the Teen Titans in the hope she will learn to control her powers.

Cosmic Staff: A long golden staff which works simmilarly to the Cosmic Converter Belt, and grants the user greater access to it's powers over time. Currently, Courtney has access to flight, solar energy projection, and deflection.
Powerless: Without her gear, Courtney is just a teenage girl with no remarkable powers to speak of.

Courtney isn't terribly special, as much as she likes to think she is. Her title and gear were earned more through dumb luck rather than any worth or talent. It started when her mother moved them from their home in bight and fast-paced California to the cold and dull state of Nebraska, all to be with her new boyfriend Patrick Dugan. Things only deteriorated from there. Her teachers and half the students at her new high-school seemed determined to make Courtney's life miserable, her grades dropped, and her mother and 'Pat' (as they insisted she call him) got married after only six months of being in-state.

In an effort to connect with his step-daughter, Pat offered Courtney an after-school internship with his work at the large science research center that had always seemed out of place in the small town of Blue Valley. Unable to talk her way out of it between both parents, Courtney eventually consented to going along with him. The labs were devoted to clean energy production and use. Pat headed up the mechanics department and a man named Ted Knight did most of the research and prototypes for energy production. Prior to Superman's death, Knight had been trying to mimic a kyrptonian's metabolism; converting sunlight into raw energy. The Cosmic Converter Belt and Staff were the products of that research. Courtney had no real interest for science or math, and most of her time was spent answering phones and filing.

She'd been at the Nebraska labs about a month when she came across the belt and staff. They were laying casually on Ted Knight's desk when she entered to drop off some messages, and no one else was around. They weren't the usual bits of machine parts that were constantly being passed from office to office, and Courtney found herself actually curious. Without much consideration for consequences, she put on the belt. It wasn't until she went behind the desk that she noticed the dead body of Ted Knight on the ground. At the same time, two shriveled green creatures clawed at her from underneath the desk. A single kick hit the things hard enough to break through the other side of the panel, and alarms began ringing before she even left the room.

The Dragon King had come to Blue Valley, in search of the Kinght's new inventions, laying siege to his entire lab with mutated humans. After finding her stepfather, who was decked in a prototype S.T.R.I.P.E suit, and quickly learning what exactly the belt could do Courtney helped repel the attack.

The aftermath left Courtney grounded for the rest of her existence, and Knight's lab completely destroyed, but as there wasn't really much else to do with the belt and staff, they remained locked away in Pat's garage. Lucky Mary, Courtney's sole friend in Nabraska, knew a thing or two about lockpicking. So she wasn't totally unprepared when the Dragon King himself came to her house. The second fight unlocked the powers of the Staff to her, a bolt of light energy knocking the Dragon King himself through her second-story bedroom window, and stunning him long enough for Pat to restrain him. Thus Courtney gained the attention of the Justice Trio, and an invitation to join the Titans in California.

Name: Katherine 'Kat' Lance
Alias: Black Canary
Age: 17
Powers/Drawbacks:
Kat's signature power is, of course, her canary cry. Unfiltered, while not as powerful as her mother's, her cry is powerful enough to harm superhumans with ease. She wears a specially built choker that regulates the power of her cry as she has yet to learn how to properly control the amount of force she uses most of the time.

Furthermore, unlike her mother, Kat has developed a small amount of super strength and durability. Not enough to rival proper versions of these powers, but she can bend steel and break bones a lot easier than your average 17 year old.
Skills:
Kat was trained from a young age in martial arts by her mother and her mother's allies. She is very skilled and often prefers to only use her cry as a last resort and instead use her fighting skill. Her specialty is Muay Thai and Capoeria, although she knows many more styles and often infuses them when in a fight. Her personal favourite way to subdue a bad guy is the flying armbar she shamelessly copied from Demetrious Johnson.

Kat is also your premier obscure music fan, and won't hesitate to excitedly rattle off band after band or show you her vinyl collection if asked. In accordance with this, Kat can also play the bass guitar and is learning how to play the keyboard in her free time.
Bio:
Kat is the daughter of Black Canary and a father she was never told about. Although Batman 'suspects' it is likely to be Green Arrow.

As the daughter of a costumed badass, Kat was trained from just about the time she could walk to be a hero. While most girls early lives would be filled with tea parties and dolls, Kat's time was mostly spent learning how to punch or control her developing power of the canary cry. Of course, Dinah wasn't a bad mother by any means, and tried to develop a healthy balance of 'normality' and the superhero stuff. The real reason she was training her from such an early age was for fear of any villain coming after her to get to Dinah, rather than the want for some sidekick, although that is what Kat became at one point.

Kat's time at school was filled with distress to say the least. She was bullied almost constantly and fell in with bad crowds more than a few times. She had a good enough heart to know never to use her powers for evil or reveal who her mother was, but that doesn't mean she hasn't spray-painted more than a few walls. Thankfully she found another output for her teenage angst before it turned to something more evil.

This output, was crime fighting. Inspired by her mother, Kat began escaping at night, clad in black, to go and fight crime. Things went surprisingly well for the most part, most criminals couldn't take more than a super strength enhanced liver kick without crumpling to the ground, but things took a turn for the worst when encountering a proper super villain. The guy was small-time, hell he reformed himself after jail even, and his powers were fire-based. He had been committing arson throughout Gotham, and Kat had managed to track his admittedly obvious trail down to an apartment complex.

A fight ensued, one in which Kat almost died a few times. It almost ended in her death after the villain had managed to dislocate her knee using a pipe. He stood over her, ready to burn her to death before she let out a canary cry she could barely control.

She woke up hours later in hospital with her mother looking extremely angry with her. She had leveled the apartment complex, thankfully there had been no one inside other than the two, but had there been many would have died. The sheer force of her cry had knocked the villain out of the complex and into a pond nearby where he was later picked up by the police.

Rather than forcing her now crying daughter to stop being a hero altogether, Dinah opted to instead teach her to be a proper one. She managed to pull a few strings with the Bat and got a cry modulator so Kat could more easily control her power and began taking Kat out with her on patrol.

Kat's been training with her mother for a few years now, before being put forward for the reformed Teen Titans after the death of Superman.

The only regret Dinah has about sending her daughter forward is that she couldn't keep the family tradition of bright blonde hair going.

RAVEN

Name: Raven
Alias: Rachel Roth
Age: 16
Powers/Drawbacks:
Astral Projection: Through the use of her soul-self, Raven can project her consciousness into the mind, for therapeutic purposes (to aid in her own meditation, or to help calm an agitated ally), or for offensive attacks, rendering her enemies unconscious.

Soul-Self: Raven can manifest her "Soul-Self" through astral projection. It normally takes the form of either her human shape or a giant raven.

Empathy: Psionic ability of empathy, the power to absorb emotions, enabling her to feel the feelings of others.

Emotion Negation: She can also use her empathy to steal emotions from others, rendering them emotionally "numb".

Empathic Healing: She can absorb the pain of injured people to ease their suffering, and induce rapid healing. This cannot be done to major injuries.

Telekinesis: Raven has the ability to move objects with mind.
Teleportation: It also serves as a way to travel into other dimensions. Using her soul-self, she can teleport herself and others over vast distances.

Flight: she is able to levitate and fly.

spell-casting: Raven can focus her dark magic to weave spells to complete various task, such as summoning tendrils or her most used spell to blast her foe with her dark energy.

Weakness: Raven's power is connected to her emotions and becoming unbalanced could cause her to lose control over her vast power which can become dangerous to her allies and herself. She's also a bit fragile and has over used her power and resulted in her fainting or becoming fatigued in the middle of a fight.
If she is divided from her soul-self for too long she risks the chance of imploding and taking out a few miles with her.

Raven is the result of a woman’s bad decision and an inter dimensional demon. Before Raven had been born, her and her mother were spirited away by the priest of Azarath, a cult of sorts that were from another dimension. As Raven aged she was taught to keep her powers in control along with her emotions which were bond together, she learned to protect others and to defend herself. Azarath was a peaceful and serene, though Raven never felt as though she belonged, she loved her home and the priest who raised her even if they did not permit her to visit with her mother for long.

Though Raven was told that her father was dangerous and that she should never try to contact him, she was curious, she wanted to know who he was and what that made her. Maybe it was her father’s influence or maybe she had inherited her mother’s bad judgement she located a spell that would only allow her and her father to talk. However, she was unprepared for the power Trigon processed as he forced his way through the small window Raven had opened and unfortunately for her mother and for Azarath they would burn in the hell fire that the demon brought upon them.

Raven, surviving her fathers attack on Azarath was brought to Trigons dimension where he would try to corrupt the young Raven. However, to Trigon’s surprise his daughter was strong willed would not break no matter the horrors that he had shown the girl. No matter he thought, she would bend to his will eventually. Trigon would go on to try and use Raven’s connection to earth to conquer as he did for countless years, however, he underestimate Raven and she used the brief moment his guard was down to preform the rites to connect his dimension to earth and bond him to a crystal that was powerful enough to bind him, though it was only a temporary solution until she could find allies to fight her father and send him a more permanent end. She took a piece of the crystal and wears it over her third eye so he can always have an eye on her father as she returned to the world of her mother.

Powers/Drawbacks:

Animal Physiology - Garfield Logan has the powers to shapeshift into any animal that he has seen in real life or in illustration. With this, he gains the strengths and powers of those animals, and the exact physiology of that animal. That said, like any animal, and even in his human form, he can still be mortally wounded, injured, in any way. Some animals give a better duration to this, but he can still die in any of his forms. Garfield is also still very much still has the mind of a human within these forms, and does not become completely wild. And possibly, if the chance ever comes, he could be able to even transform into alien lifeforms from worlds beyond Earth.

Skills:

Combat - As a superhero, this is a basis for fighting bad guys. Garfield knows how to fight, rather crudely perhaps, as he is still only a kid who has never had any pure combat training like Batman and his sidekicks.

Agility - Teenagers are young and in their pure prime, and with the addition of Garfield’s superhuman abilities, he is more than just in his prime. He’s fast, and somewhat pretty flexible.

Garfield Logan was the son of Mark and Marie Logan, who were scientists who researched mutations and spectacular evolution of animals. They were funded by STAR Labs on their projects, as they didn’t nearly have enough money for R&D by themselves. In 2003, their beloved son was born.

However, soon after the months Garfield was born. Mark and Mari had discovered a body of an unheard of animal in the deep exotic rainforests within Africa. With the evidence of this animal that had once lived on Earth, the couple had brought it to STAR Labs, asking if they could study the creature. It had been a green monkey.

Mark and Marie had further looked in the specific rainforest in Africa, and discovered many odd animals similar to the green monkey. WIth enhanced intelligence and abilities, with even the plants seeming strange. Mark and Marie had come to the conclusion that the African rainforest had evolved before any other area on Earth.

They would create a home in Africa along with their son, Garfield. As he grew older, at the age of 9, his parents had finally decided to allow him to study, research, and explore that particular rainforest with them whenever they went. They would do this somewhat often. However, one trip, Garfield had been bit by a snake once he accidentally had stepped on the creature. Mark shot the snake with his rifle, and the parents brought their son back home.

The poison Garfield had been hit with was unknown, advanced, and antivenom had not seem to affect Garfield’s dying body. The parents, remembering that the dead green monkey they had found had a powerful resistance to disease and viruses. Decided to use one of the samples they had took of the animal and turn it into a medicine. It took a week, but Garfield gradually become better until the poison left his body. However, his body changed.

His skin, hair, and eye color had became green like the monkey. His hair started to grow similar to a monkey’s and his teeth turned to animal like fangs. He was a mystery, and soon enough, Garfield learned he could transform into animals. His parents were astonished and terrified, and notified STAR Labs about their son’s condition and the newly created medicine they had created.

It didn’t take long for LexCorp to learn of this special medicine through leaks from STAR Labs. And LexCorp wanted it, a step before STAR Labs could get the chance. They weren’t the only company who were dying to get their hands on this new medicine. However, Garfield’s condition was kept secret to protect him.

Garfield, seeing the heroes of the Justice League and many more, believed he could use his powers for good and be a superhero. His parents, obviously, did not like this idea.

LexCorp offered the Logan family a great deal of money for this medicine. However, Mark and Marie refused. On a trip to Metropolis, Mark and Marie were killed in a ‘boating accident’ and Garfield was left by himself in the city of tomorrow. Garfield was the age 14 when this had happened, and was smart enough to know there were too many coincidences for the accident to be a accident, like the medicine from his parents’ destroyed boat being taken, and more secretive things like the knowledge of Garfield’s abilities.

After that, the beast-like boy went on the run to the West Coast, scared to be found and publically known as a freak of nature. And at one point, to bump into the Titans.

As a Tamaranean, Starfire has a vast array of abilities that on a genetic level allows her to be more durable, powerful, and dexterous than a normal humanoid being. This physiology is considered superhuman by definition, though it by no means she is without her limits. As an individual who has only been “active” with her superpowers for around three or so years, Starfire lacks the experience that veteran superhumans have in utilizing their abilities. To summarize, Starfire runs “hot” like her powers seem to imply and her stamina and metahuman constitution still largely define her combat capabilities in the long-term. Starfire is not resistant or even immune to telepathic domination or the supernatural and her own inherent kindness, anxiety, and curiosity tends to distract her from the greater picture. Starfire doesn’t like committing herself 100% to brutal actions as she has seen firsthand what it has turned her sister into.

That aside, Starfire is very versatile. She can expel and control a green thermal energy which she can utilize to allow her to levitate and go on the offensive. Her Tamaranean Physiology allows her to be neurologically unique and she can assimilate language through physical contact.

Starfire is a skilled starcraft pilot, close quarters combatant, and survivalist. She’s had an extensive background in interstellar education through her experience as a studious princess and learning through practical experience. She knows how to hide herself among a crowd, though on a planet like Earth it is a bit more difficult considering her particular “appearance” that is far more unique than it would be on a planet like Rann or Exxor. Starfire’s insightful perspective and innate curiosity also gives her an advantage on certain situations; she’s very much of a “ask questions first” mentality before a firefight arises.

_Bio

Koriand’r was born on the planet of Tamaran, a core world in the interstellar political sphere within the star system known as Vega. Her childhood was bred from gleeful competition with her brother and sister, Ryand’r and Komand’r. For the first eleven years of her life things were peaceful and archetypal with a loving family, honorable mentors, and expectations being stressful but none too devastating. Kori never thought much of sadness or fear, they were emotions better fit for those who had to struggle; the worst Kori had to deal with was her elder sister giving her a stern glare or an aggressive lecture. But things did not stay picturesque for long. A sentiment Kori would think long and hard about when Tamaran became the target of alien conquerors known as the Gordanians.

It was here that Kori was separated from her family and friends; her homeworld taken from her and her childhood ripped away before she could realize it.

Four years of her life seemed to pass by in an instant – she survived on her own, escaped capture on several occasions, and found herself trying to find any trace of her siblings as the Gordanians grew in power. After her sister disappeared without a trace and her brother was sent to a far-off slave planet Kori found herself doing whatever she could to oppose the Gordanians and their growing influence. Kori herself still doubts she would’ve escaped from the Vega System alive and free if not for the influence of a vigilante known as Thaddeus Bach.

When she was fifteen years old, Kori found herself once again being hunted down by the Gordanians after she found herself on Earth. It was a gambit Kori herself did not feel prepared for considering the fact she had been on the run from Gordanians and their bounty hunters for years and the stress of evading them for as long as she had been was starting to take its toll. If not for the intervention of Dick Grayson and his comrades, Kori surely would’ve fallen into the hands of her would-be captors for a final time. Afterward, Kori found herself joining the Teen Titans and adopting the hero name “Starfire” after the Tamaranean vessel of the same name.

The rest is history.
