What I most want to see is the agent respond to being fondled by link

My favorite type of villain is the kind I can understand and route for.

I was thinking of adding a one time use villain.
Let’s use Mr. Two Goody Two Shoes Hero Guy as an example:
Evil alternate universe version
Gender may or may not be swapped
He would be a ruthless bastard
Possibly taken over the planet/country/city
Would aim to do the same in this new universe.
This villain would end up dead

@Burning Kitty Whoever's behind the whole villain recruitment most definitely wants to overthrow the mayor and take over the city. That's a cool suggestion you've got there.

Interesting theory, though the characters who didn't treat their emblems badly were also affected. Unless it affected the entire system, also possible, hmm...

Could be the energy attack from She-Ra's Sword of Protection shorted the system out.

Link's Master Sword:
AKA the Sword of Time, Sword of Resurrection
It is magical
Ability to dispel magical barriers
The scabbard is mystically/magically linked to the sword

So Link's magical sword could have scrambled the system. I think I had her smack the emblem with her sword I would have to go back and check to be sure.

There is also the possibility Raven's magic caused it, if I remember right Raven said she was traveling through a magical portal when she was pulled to Cinix.

Maybe it was a combination of all that or any two of them.

But IMO really the ones to blame were the agents for not going in person and asking for help.

Well, looks like they're paying dearly for that mistake lol. I'll start working on a way to merge the groups so the rest can be given an idea on what's going on.

@Lightning a few problems with that
What if the hero is illiterate
While they might speak what sounds like English in their land the alphabet might not be the same
What if they are blind
What if they have no written language in their land

Best solution is an agent with a universal translator like in Star Trek that way communication is feasible

Hmm, it seems that the agency done some recon on the heroes they sent emblems to so I don't think that a language barrier would be an issue for a people that figured out inter-dimensional travel.

Technically they only reverse engineered it & copied* it, someone else figured out how to do it.

*Copying might be that great depends on what caused the people to appear all around the base.

Both true, regardless of whether or not they were decided initially or improvised. The spawning of heroes at random places was, as mentioned, not an initial idea and done for laughs :D As for why it happened, I won't make anything canon just yet, but you peeps can have fun and theorize, like you've already done.

It's about time I got the characters to interact more with one another rather than the NPCs. I'm gonna run out of colors for NPC dialog soon.

Cloud is kidnapped before he could get laid. Link been trying to score and keeps getting interrupted. If the fate of the world depended on my characters getting busy the world be doomed.

I remember this short Zelda cartoon series where Link kept getting interrupted whenever he was about to kiss Zelda, right up till the last episode and he still never got it. Well, this Link might be happy to find out that Cinix has a local club where she can meet nice people her age. Actually a club/bar arc doesn't sound too bad.
