This is what you awake to, and you have no idea how you got here. But something is wrong, you have no idea where you were or what you were doing before you woke up here. Not Yesterday, not last week, or month...how long have you been here exactly? You get up from the hard bed and walk slowly, you feel scared but subdued, your body wont allow you to run or to scream, it's like you've been drugged. After a few steps you make it to a wall. This room is tiny and dark, its like a prison cell. You manage to spot a small mirror on the wall you are facing. Peering at it with a dulled terror, you recognize your own face...mostly. Except you seem to be a little older, grizzled and vacant, as if you had a life changing event you cant quite recall. You seem to be in some loose fitting grey overalls with a t-shirt underneath, it has a 4 digit number on the left breast pocket....prison uniform. There is no sound, just your own slow breathing at what seems to be a dripping sound from an unseen sink. You feel the dulling of your mind begin to clear, you are starting to feel normal fear, you want to scream out in confusion. But something stops you... a voice.
Good Morning Inmates, this is your Warden speaking. Welcome to your first and last day of your sentence. I understand you might be feeling a little confused. But I assure you all that you belong here and you all have the potential to be rehabilitated. But who will make it that far remains to be seen.
You all now have the duty of administering punishment on your fellow inmates, assault battery and torture is fine, but for maximum results you really want to go for an execution. In each of your cells there is a small box in there you will find a weapon, and a short poem written just for you. How useful you find this depends on your own creativity and interpretation. There is a slow acting acid capsule that will burn the inside of your intestines in 4 hours that you already ingested before you slept. That would give you less than 3 and a half hours before it kills you. The only way to get the preventing antidote is to kill 5 of your fellow inmates. There are cameras everywhere so I know what to look for. You happen to be in an abandoned school building, with 150 of your fellow inmates so i expect it to get quite loud for the first hour or so. Those who complete their 5 kills need to use whatever clues they can find to locate 'the finish line' where you will move on to the next area...but don't get ahead of yourself. Focus on the task at hand. Good luck.
And just like that, you hear a thudding clang of your cell door, it appears that it's now unlocked. Considering you can't hear any other supposed 150 cells or inmates from where you are, it appears you are in a very large building.
