Defeated the Slaying God – On a remote planet, hidden in an ancient temple, there is a trial that aspiring warriors can undertake. The temple is a shrine, built to memorialise a group of six heroes who long ago fought to defeat a great and power Black Beast. By praying at the altars of these heroes it is possible to summon their spirit and fight against them in single combat; by defeating them, and proving yourself worthy, they will grant you the weapons they were famed for using.

Artorigus visited this temple and he prayed at the altar of the Slaying God Hakumen, a faceless swordsman in pure white armour wielding a sword that made all ranged weapons useless. Facing the warrior in single combat Artorigus fought for hours, using a variety of weapons and nearly dying a dozen times or more, and was finally able to defeat the Slaying God. In return for his efforts he was granted the Slaying Demon: Okami, the unique artefact wielded by the Slaying God.

Winner of the Shining Sword tournament – Before joining the Spectres of the Apocalypse, Artorigus took part in a rather novel tournament arranged by a number of players who were looking for a little sport. The only rules were that the only weapons allowed were swords and that the fight wasn’t over until the opponent submitted or died; everything else was permitted. Using unique artefact Slaying Demon: Okami, the sword he had recently acquired from a quest, Artorigus quickly advanced to the final rounds of the tournament; upon seeing his opponents it quickly became apparent that he wasn’t the only person using a unique artefact nor was he the only person who knew how to use one. It was here that things became tricky.

His final and most notable opponent was the wielder of the Moonlight Greatsword, a unique artefact capable of firing magical blasts through heavy swings of the blade. The match-up was favourable for Artorigus, a projectile firing sword versus a sword that negates projectiles, but it was still a very difficult fight that he only barely managed to win when his opponents surrendered moments before being decapitated.

Artorigus collected his reward, a money pot added to by all competitors, and his useless title and left. He was approached by the Spectres of the Apocalypse soon after and asked to join.

Other notable facts: Artorigus is aiming to become a melee weapon specialist and is always seeking to acquire more melee Artefacts.

Nicknamed L.N.P, Ellen P., or simply 'Proud', LOUD_N_PROUD first had trouble finding her way with every quest offered to her. She didn't live up to her username until a couple of years later when she got behind the wheel and made herself at home in a wasteland environment.

Proud became a lone ranger disguised as a loose cannon dressed in bandit gear, destroying those that had an unfair advantage and scattering their loot to those wanting a second chance, leaving wreckage and explosions in her wake. She joined a number of races and found a
'one-ness' between her and her common Outrunner, but eventually winning the Interceptor after one of the biggest races in the wasteland - Fury Road.

SIGNIFICANT QUEST
When Sanctuary began Kaptaan was well known in the nautical areas of the virtual world. Sonya had been from inner city slums and never saw the ocean, a dream she was able to live out in the virtual world. Kaptaan became a reoccurring beautiful face and charming personality that could not be forgotten even after users signed off.

After helping some newer players to fight off the usual and very predictable wave of "bandits" that spawned every few hours in that particular port, Sonya noticed some higher level and already clan joined players trying to cheat some of the newer and younger members out of their coins. Speaking up, the group challenged her to five individual duels where on the first fight she lost everything.

Building her repertoire back up from scratch she re-challenged the group over a year later and won; her perseverance unmatched. The lower level players of the area banked their balances together to purchase the woman a ship, so she could be more flashy in the area that she called her main hub. Though remaining in that area as often as she did, word of name spread into other areas- some calling her a fool while others found her loyalty to what she cared about a breath of fresh air. When the clan; The Specters of the Apocalypse messaged her and asked for her to join in she had her doubts and misconceptions; but now consider the group a great change of pace in the game.

Description of function: Appearing as a simple pistol, the item really packs a punch when used in the right hands. ► Initially made a name for himself on the racing circuit winning several high profile races. He raced regularly whether it be registered tournaments or backstreet races. Unfortunately for him there was a alot of cash to be made from betting on the races and a high profile clan approached him to throw a race. Flat out refusing Ataxia found himself on the receiving end of a rocket shell during the race he was asked to throw. With all his cash gone and his prized possessions gone, he had to drag himself back up the long way.

► The easy option would have been to get back into racing but racing was all he knew, he would never stand a chance if he ever crossed paths with the clan again. As such he began to fight in the battle arenas. For a long time he found himself getting fragged with little to show for it, but if you die enough times you start to learn things...and learn he did. He began to rack up a few kills here and there before starting to win a couple of arena battles. Word of his name started to spread as a possible up and comer, focussing more on him because of his racing past rather than his burgeoning talent in battle. It was at this point he was contacted by the Spectres of the Apocalypse.

Yolo Of Londor is a not often talked about Dark Souls die-hard. His time in Sanctuary is generally spent perfecting Dark Souls runs, with the occasional break to pursue other games of a similar grim-dark style. His obsession with Dark Souls resulted in his current of twenty-three avatars.

The time he spends away from Lordran are spent in PvP zones like planet DOOM, murdering others and ruining their well-lain plans. He sees this as a necessary challenge and threat to his existence, as much of Lordran has become, as he says it, “His bitch.”

His normal kit has a greater focus towards the use of heavy weaponry and dark sorceries, but his swordsmanship and knowledge of the general tools that DOOM’s roulette style tournament has provided him with the skill to make it far on his own.

His preference towards working alone has made him more than a little infamous in clan circles due to the fact that his higher levels of skill has made him quite the ideal catch.

As far as fame-making quests in the specific, his single-handed destruction of a powerful Dark Souls covenant-themed guild spread his name around quite a bit as a willing and active player-killer.

For someone who's Avatar is named Wing-Man, it's almost funny that he has yet to obtain any kind of plane or starfighter artifact. Not from a lack of trying, mind you. There were two quests in particular that resulted in rewards that weren't quite what he was hoping they were.

The first was a Grand Prix Race, within which Wing-Man drove Ghost Rider's car, complete with access to limited fire powers for self defense. Unfortunately, the car was a loaner. In fact everyone was given randomly assigned vehicle artifacts to use for the race. To keep a long story short, Wing-Man was victorious. His prize? The one and only Blue Falcon. A pretty awesome prize all things considered, but Wing-Man had been under the assumption that he would be able to fly with it. It turns out that F-Zero machines don't actually fly, they just hover over the ground. Apparently Wing-Man got it confused with the Flying Falcon, which actually does fly.

The second quest was called Space Empires. Participants were assigned command of a particular faction from a Sci-Fi franchise and were given the objective to lead them to victory over the other forces by taking control of all the territory zones. Players weren't allowed to participate in battles personally, instead their AI-controlled army did the actual fighting, with the players merely observing and giving commands and orders where necessary. For this campaign, Wing-Man was given command of the Cornerian Army from the Star Fox series. He came out victorious, his fleets managing to outfight other player consisting of the Klingons, Federation, and even the Galactic Empire among others. For his victory, Wing-Man was awarded the Unique Artifact giving him the power to summon Team Star Fox for an airstrike once a day. Great! But if he was being completely honest with himself, Wing-Man would have preferred an actual Arwing vehicle for himself. Oh well, maybe next time. This second event is what got the Spectors' attention, them apparently being impressed with his tactical commanding from this event in addition to his racing skills from the Grand Prix Race.

Description of function: Allows for the casting of up to six spells simultaneously; spells that are made up of multiple pages take up multiple slots on the staff, i.e. the staff can cast six 1 page spells, two 3 page spells or one 6 page spell.
