There is strife over the lands, wars are common and lords are more than willing to attack one another to gain more power and solidify their hold over the lands. The one powerful and prominent kingdoms have fallen into civil war, nations which have stood for thousands of years had suddenly collapsed overnight. No one knows why the lands have turned into an area of bloody war, but someone must do something as no nation has been spared from what is being called the “Plight of Greed”.

Farms are left abandoned as levies are raised, taverns left cold as no one tends them, and roads a place ripe for ambush and pounded by deserters of their wars who have found better ways of supporting themselves. Whoever you are, you have been sent a vision, whether you be holy and believe it to be divine or a powerful mage summoning you, you have felt the need to travel to the one place still unaffected by the trials of war.

You can hear the wizened voice calling your name, and each day that you put off to travel, the calling becomes louder and louder until you cannot bars the noise anymore. However, you knew that it was time to take up your arms and travel the dangerous lands, whether you come from a different land or not, you must go!

You come into view of a tower, decrepit, tall, and with spiraling structures protruding from the varying levels. In your trek into this country side, you have found no sign of civilization other than the small dirt road that has taken you there. This was the source of the voice. Maybe now, your mind may know some semblance of peace. But the sight of the tower leaves you uneasy, and it is still far away, several miles from what you can see. From your view upon the hill, you can see a long stretch of thick forest, however as you try to move forward, you are stopped by an invisible force.

The voice beckons you to stay until the others arrive, and you only wait for a little while, a mere few minutes between each person. The voice then says,

“Come, and hurry!”

With little time to properly introduce yourselves, you feel that it is best to talk about the subject on the way to the tower.

>Players may converse.
>Those who wish to hurry must do an Athletics check, but be weary, forests are dangerous and unpredictable at night.

Graham Douglas hadn't had a good day for a long time now. Ever since the voice in his head started speaking, Graham had known no peace and trying to ignore it only made it worse. Even after Graham relented and began making his way to where he was supposed to go, the voice persisted. Even now, when he was so close to the source, Graham's mind was still assaulted by the call. Graham was going to make the bastard responsible for this relentless headache suffer at the first opportunity he could seize. Which probably wouldn't be for a while since he was probably dealing with a very powerful spellcaster. Graham glared in frustration at the tower as the voice told him to stop. "First you tell me to come, then you tell me to stop" Graham growled "Make up your bloody mind you bloody whoreson". With that said, Graham leaned against a nearby tree and watched as more people arrived, pointedly ignoring any attempts others made to speak with him. When the time came to move, Graham began walking towards the tower but made no attempt to hurry and kept a sharp eye out for any danger. He was far from happy about the situation he found himself in.

Jakyn waited as the voice commanded him, sitting on a withered stump of a tree next to a rather grizzled, burly man. The wood elf took stock as more and more characters began to filter in and wait alongside him and the warrior; a motley group was certainly starting to form. Before Jakyn knew it, the voice rang out again, commanding the group to quicken their pace towards the tower. By this time, the sky and forest had grown dark, and Jakyn had grown a little wary of both his surroundings, and his supposed companions. The half-orc and human male seemed... especially untrustworthy. Or maybe that was just the wood elf's bias.

Jakyn rose from his stump, dusted himself off, and began a reasonable trot towards the tower. He stayed beside his silent, stubborn companion as they traveled up the dirt road, the warlock's leather robes and pads jingling in tune with the fighter's own armor and weapons. The wood elf was careful to keep an eye out for both the human's movements, as well as the nature of the dark forest.

Orky isnt the religious type but he knows a calling when he hears one. Especially since one was right in his head. He made no attempt to disobey the voice since he believed it was going to show him where people who needed help are. He is arriving over the hill when he began to see other adventures gather at a spot by a tree. He made it to the area when the voice told him to wait for the others. He noticed the grumpy human leaning on the tree. He seemed like he was going to clobber anyone who talked to him. He looked over and saw the Wood Elf, which gave him gave him shivers down his back, as if his Orc senses were saying, "He no good, no fight." When all the others had arrived and started walking towards the tower Orky brought out a sandwhich an old lady gave to him as thanks for helping her move logs. He almost feel the Wood-Elf's gaze on him while he was biting his sandwhich. Orky made she to stay in the back because he doesn't know anyone so he and he doesn't want to get on anybody's bad side yet. Aswell he checked the surrounding area for any danger.

The travel towards the wizened voice was the first time Norrlia had ever left the remains of the monastery. What was this voice? Why was it calling? Could it be the voice of the Golden Goddess? Or maybe echoes of the past for the people lost in the fires? Or maybe, just maybe, it was a sign in the direction of those bastards that burnt down the only home she had ever known.

For her first trip across the lands it seemed to go well - - kind of. The blonde found herself using the once thought of as ‘useless’ skills the monks had taught her to carry her on her journey. The ability to speak Goblin and even Orc showed its usefulness while trekking across the lands all the while chasing that voice inside of her head. “Where are you?” She muttered to herself as she powered up a hill and the land was exposed to her at the top. The wave of unease spread across her as the heat of the situation she was in became even more apparent; what on earth did she actually get herself into by following the voice in her head.

Around her sat a waiting group of people, where they called by the Golden Goddess as well? Her small hand reached out and touched the invisible barrier to find they were not allowed entry yet. “Interesting…” She muttered under her breath, her elven ears twitched in discomfort as she pulled her hand back and scanned the small group around her. “Very interesting indeed…”

Once more people arrived and the realization set in that this was no longer a single person journey, the weight of the situation set it and she slid her hands into the pockets of her pants. When the group began to venture forward, the barrier giving way, she focused on the path ahead; seeking any sort of sign that someone or something else had been on the path before them.

Kosara thrashed and turned on her bundle of skins. The voice was tormenting her again. Not but a week had passed since it first appeared in her dreams and began beckoning at her. 'Come!' It urged her. But come where? Ko wasn't raised to believe in deities. Mama Yaga always said nature itself was a goddess-like existence to them. She always taught Kosara to respect and fear nature. Ever since she'd found the little girl abandoned deep in the woods.

Ko had been so terrified. Coming face to face with the old woodland crone. She'd thought the monster had come the eat her alive because she'd been a bad girl. But then she'd remembered she hadn't been a bad girl. Not for quite awhile now. She'd even gone to the woods with her bigger sister to gather mushrooms for dinner. And than Sasa had said she'd heard a sound and had gone to investigate, instructing the younger girl to stay put. And Kosara had done as she was told. And had waited for her sister to come get her. And waited. And waited! But Sasa hadn't come back. Instead Mama Yaga had appeared in all her terrible glory. Vested in the disguise she used to scare people away from the more precious parts of the woods.

And the decrepit old crone had taken the scared little girl in and raised her as her own. Teaching her the ways of the druid. About herbs and healing plants. About all things alive in the forest. And as the girl grew up, she learned how to hunt and how to give respect to the forest for providing them with game and fruit. And as she became a young woman Mama Yaga called on her one day and said it was time to pass on the mantle of 'Baba Yaga'. And she taught Kosara how to disguise herself and how to make her own disguises. Thus Ko became 'Baba Yaga', the infamous woodland crone that was said to eat little children who didn't listen to their parents and ventured too deep into the woods.

'Come, and hurry!' The voice beckoned once more in Kosara's dream. The voice so persistent that the young woman woke with a start.

"That dream again, girl!" The gruff, wizened voice of Mama Yaga inquired. She was handing her adopted daughter a cup with some tonic.

"Mhm." Ko mumbled sipping on her tonic.

"Don't talk while drinking." Mama Yaga scolded. "It's bad manners!" The old crone shook her head. "Why do you make me repeat myself?!" It was not so much a question as a parental complaint.

Kosara swallowed and lowered her head chastised. "Sorry, Mama." She sipped some more of the nerve soothing tonic and continued. "Yes. It was the same dream again." Ko hesitated. "Only this time it felt more intense."

"I know we've talked it over and none of us likes it. But maybe you should go."

Kosara sighed. It was true that the two of them had discussed the call of her dreams. They didn't trust it and had decided Ko should ignore it. But it had been getting worse with time. Almost unbearable. So when Mama Yaga said maybe she should go, Kosara couldn't help but agree. The young woman nodded. "I agree. But go where?"

"I suppose whoever or whatever put out the call will guide you in the right direction. You just take to the woods and follow." The crone stood up allowing Ko to do the same and begin preparing for the road ahead. "And you be careful, girl, ya hear!" The gruff voice of the old woman was surprisingly gentle and filled with emotion.

"I will, Mama!" Kosara promised and hugged her old mother tightly, but gently. As she pulled away she smiled. "You've taught me well."

"Aye! That I did. Now go!" And Ko was off.

As the druid traveled through the familiar woodland terrain she could feel the call getting even stronger and more intense. While at the same time the light of the day was beginning to dim. Ko lit a torch and continued onward, careful of her surroundings. Mindful not to disturb the forest creatures with her trek through their territory. At the same time she kept her eyes peeled for any druidic messages her fellow druids might have left. Mama Yaga had taught her to recognize and understand the language way back when she was still a little girl. But Kosara didn't see any druidic signs in this forest.

What she did see however was something akin to a tower way in the distance, peaking through the foliage of the trees. There! Go there! Something spoke inside her and Ko made to obey, but as she put her good foot forward an invisible wall halted her progress. The druid's face scrunched up in confusion. "What the...?" She followed the obstacle in length in both directions. "Is this some joke!? First you call and now you won't let me pass!" Kosara was about to go into a fit of nerves when she heard Mama Yaga's voice in her head. 'And remember, girl, anger achieves nothing but distract you from your goal. Don't give into it. Whenever you feel it consuming you, sit on the forest floor, take in the smells of the trees and animals that surround you and let nature calm your soul.'

Ko took a deep breath and did as Mama Yaga had once instructed her when she was a little kid and would get frustrated with her druid lessons. She sat on the forest floor, stabbed the torch near her, and allowed the feel of the forest to engulf her. And slowly but steadily she felt her anger and frustration seep into the soil. Not too long after she felt the invisible barrier disperse and the call beckoned yet again.

"Aye, I'm coming!" She got up, took her torch and continued calmly towards the tower.

David had answered the voice's summons almost immediately. Surely it was no coincidence that it came so soon after he had completed his training. Granted, the voice sounded nothing like what he imagined the voice of Mighty Torm to sound like, but what deity didn't have servants? Either this voice was someone benevolent and he would do Torm's will by helping, or the voice was malevolent and he would do Torm's will by slaying the voice's owner. Whatever the case, it was clearly a sign in these troubled times.

It had been a long journey from his mountain home to this strange forest and with interest, he noted that he had company. Four others had arrived before him and seemed to have been waiting for something, though a couple ceased waiting as he drew near. He jogged forward and called out to the others in the friendliest tone he could muster. "Greetings, fellow travelers! Have you also come to serve the will of Torm by heeding the voice's call?"

Most of you begin the trek down the road to the tower, many of you looking into the forest and for the most part seeing nothing, except for the dim light of a torch in the distance to the left of the road. The Goliath, eager to serves his god attempts to run forth to claim glory and do the will of Torm, but he is ultimately slowed down by his armor and pack, though managing to take the lead of the group. What everyone does notice, is a large trail of broken trees leading to the very tower you were all heading towards. Except for Jakyn, Jakyn is looking directly at the ground and believes that something seems fishy about it, you go teach that dirt a lesson Jakyn.

The monk, Norrlia, spots addition tracks in the path of toppled over trees and concludes what beast had been heading that way. Whether or not she would tell the group was up to her. However, there is shifting in the nearby bushes, Graham had known something was waiting for some time on the road and it had ruined the creature's surprise. Instead, it ran off, whatever it was, it was a big creature that was simply to obstructed by foliage to know what it was.

Meanwhile, Kosara made her way through the forest on her own, while there were no messages left for her, there something off about the the forest. It felt more strange and foreign than her home, however, she did not have time to ponder about this fact as she came across a sleeping creature. It was a giant owl, and upon closer inspection, it was not sleeping and it was in fact staring right at her. Yet, it did not seem to notice her and instead turned its head to another direction, that is where Kosara spots an area on the creature’s wing that has a large noticeable gash, fresh blood leaked from the wound and painted the Snow White owl feathers a crimson read.

>Kosara must make a perception check. Success

As astute as Kosara is, she managed to notice a centipede approaching the own from the brush. It is not a normal centipede though, this one easily puts the common bug to shame in it’s size. It looks as if the centipede is stalking the owl.

>What will Kosara do?

They were heading for an ambush. A combination of past experience, several clear signs that something big had passed through the area, and the fact that a forest was perfect ambush territory during the night made the preceding statement all too obvious to Graham. So when the party reached the ambush, Graham managed to spot the trap before it could be sprung. While he couldn't see what was hiding in the foliage, he could see it's eyes. Graham looked stares with the beast in the bushes and made it clear that the element of surprise had been lost. Once the beast retreated out of sight, graham pulled out his heavy crossbow and loaded a bolt into the weapon. It was then that he noticed the torch light in the distance and heard sound of fighting in that general direction. "Anyone else see that light?" Graham asked as he gestured towards the light with his crossbow "Sounds like there's a fight going on over there".

As Ko made to continue further, keeping vigil of her surroundings, the forest she was walking through gave off an eerie, unfamiliar feeling. It wasn't like any forest Kosara had roamed through before. As hard as she tried to spy any druidic markings, Ko could find none. Which was strange indeed as druids tended to leave hidden messages here and there throughout the woods with useful information. But this forest... It was as if no druid had ever set foot in it.

And just as Kosara was scanning her gaze in search of druid messages, she noticed something else entirely. A large owl... Certainly lager than a normal owl. Perched on a branch. But the majestic creature appeared not to notice her and instead turned and focused its gaze on something else. That's when the druid noticed a nasty gash on the owl's wing. Oh, you poor, beautiful bird! Ko frowned and wondered if she would be able to coax the owl to let her treat that wound. She stepped forward slowly and carefully intent on doing just that when she noticed a disproportionately large centipede. The scale of the creature made its hideous form pop out in stark detail. Kosara shivered in disgust. What disturbed her even more was the fact that the gross bug-creature was paying her no mind and had its sights firmly set on the injured owl.

"Oh, no you don't!" Ko whispered under her breath. She muttered a quick incantation and her simple wooden staff slowly began to change shape. It became thorny and gnarled, while a knotted nest formed on the top where a green fluorescent light flickered to life and began pulsing steadily. Kosara launched herself at the centipede! She managed to catch the creature off guard and dealt it a fierce blow, before it could react. Surprised as the bug was Ko tried for a second blow, but was so disgusted by the puss that was ejected by the creature's wounds, that her second attack went wide. The druid grunted with the effort to reestablish her stance as the owl seized the chance and threw itself at the bug with claw and beak. And just like that, before Ko even had the chance to attack a second time, the centipede was dead!

"Serves you right, you nasty bug! Attacking that beautiful owl." The druid directed gentle eyes at the wounded owl. Now she really wanted to persuade the animal to approach her and treat its wound, as it had helped her in the fight. Ko relaxed her stance, her morphed staff beginning slowly to revert back to its usual form. "Come, brave bird. I shall do you no harm. I only wish to help." The druid whispered, standing perfectly still, allowing the owl to make its own mind. And before she knew it, Kosara felt a whoosh of air as the snow-white bird landed quietly before her. "That's it, magnificent creature." The druid approached and slowly extended her arm, grazing the injured wing with her fingers. A spark of nature magic jumped from her fingers to the owl and the wound on its wing slowly closed.

"There. That's better!" Kosara murmured as she stroked her index finger along the owl's neck, the feathers there as smooth as silk. "But my, you are such a gorgeous and noble creature!" The druid sighed. "Would you agree to be my familiar and accompany me on my travels?" Ko asked the owl in all seriousness as if the animal could understand her words. And surprisingly, the huge bird fixed her nocturnal eyes on Kosara's squawked in gratitude and took to the air in a flash. "Ah!" The druid gasped in disappointment, arm extended after the owl. "Oh, well. Goodbye, noble owl. I hope we meet again!" Ko whispered as the snow-white creature left her alone in the forest with only the centipede corps to keep her company.

Ko crouched down by it. "Now than, lets check you out." She ground her teeth in disgust, but inspected the body carefully. She noticed strange unfamiliar markings along the bug-creature's body, as well as saddles. "Well now. This is unusual! Who on earth would be willing to ride a disgusting creature such as you?!" Kosara wondered as she tried to commit the strange markings to memory. She would have transcribed them, had she writing materials, but alas she did not.

With that task done, the druid stood up and looked about herself. Nothing else caught her attention within the forest. She did notice a dim light bobbing up and down from outside the line of trees. Other travelers? Or could it be someone other than me had also heard this call of dreams! "Well let's wait and see if they should come this way". Kosara murmured as she hid behind a tree and did her best to merge with the forest.

Jakyn had stared at the soil on the trail dozily for a few seconds, a little too interested in the odd tint it had under the moonlight. He picked up a handful of the coarse, sandy material and put it into one of his empty satchels, feeling it necessary for investigation later on. The wood elf was soon brought back to reality by the fighter's grim voice, the gruff human warning him of the light and sounds that could be seen in the distance. Standing up, Jakyn peered through the thick trees to where the warrior had described, the light moving and swaying while the sounds of battle died down quickly. A large, bird-like shape shot through the trees shortly after.

"Well, it seems like such a fight is already done with.", Jakyn commented, already walking at a brisk pace over to the light.

✦ ✦ ✦

Jakyn departed from the beaten path towards the now non-present light, his legs softly gliding through the forest's dense foliage as he began to near the location where the light had once been. It had darted out of sight when the wood elf was about half-way towards it, but he could still indicate the area it had originated from. Jakyn lighted his own torch, and soon came across the corpse of a giant centipede, its body slashed and torn, and gooey bits of greenish-purple blood bubbling out of its exoskeleton. He assumed this creature was the source of the fighting

Jakyn looked up from the insect to see a human female crouched next to a tree, staring at the wood elf silently. Jakyn locked eyes with the woman for a moment, glancing at her natural garments and primal demeanor before concluding she was a druid, much like those he had known in his tribe. "Hello, druid. I mean you no harm. Your torch light attracted me. Are you alright?", Jakyn said, first in Elvish, and then common. Jakyn gave the woman time to respond, before continuing with "My name is Jakyn; I come for the voice. Excuse me while I inspect your kill." The warlock then took time to crouch next to the bug and carefully inspect its body.

It was indeed huge, and possessed a mass of intriguing markings painted onto its body. It seemed much more like an owned pet than a wild animal; it certainly couldn't paint those inscriptions itself. The wood elf began deciphering the natural mystery of this giant centipede, and indeed if it was a species that was poisonous, as well as potentially numerous. He also paid attention to the markings, trying to call to memory if he had ever seen such runes in his time as a tribesman.

From the back of the group Orky saw a bobbing light out in the woods, he thought nothing of it at first until he heard the sound of fighting towards the direction of the light. At that moment he thought someone one could be in danger so he rushed off into the forest to possibly save someone. Turns out the Wood-Elf was already ahead of him. He stayed a steady ways behind the Wood-Elf because of the bad feeling he got from him. When they had finally reached the centipede gho Wood-Elf and Orky started to investigate it. Orky looked at the writing on the on the centipede. After a few minutes of grunts and sighs Orky is so perplexed by the Centipede and its writing that he yells out in anger, "THIS CENTIPEDE ISNT EVEN REAL NEITHER OR THE MARKINGS ON IT." Orky then proceed to walk away to look for the person that killed that centipede. He was so clouded with anger that even if there was someone was hiding in the woods he wouldnt have found them anyways. After searching around for a solid 20 minutes he decided to head back to the area of the "Not-Real Centipede."

The trek was an… interesting one. There was a large half orc, a warrior human, a human running late and… a elf. A pure elf. Growing up she never met any other elf so the sight of another one, whether it be woodland, dark or otherwise was surprising for the half elf. As she walked behind him she found herself staring more than she probably should. Orcs she’s seen, humans she’s seen, elves… outside of a reflection, this was her first.

At the halt the blonde took a moment to look around them. Between the size of the whole and the larger imprints on the ground, she ventured her way towards the broken limbs and ran a hand along them. A look of disgust moved across her face. Yes… yes she knew what this was and as she stood up she brushed the contents on her hand against the tree. “Yuck.” Upon the sight of the light her head jerked in that direction and she followed along with the wood elf towards the scene.

The centipede was as big as she originally thought but what startled her was the sudden yell of the Orc. Okay… Making a face and stepping away/towards the body of the centipede; the monk focused her gaze and attempted to dig through the useless information the other monks had instilled in her during her pointless studies. What were these markings?

With everyone moving to investigate the light, Graham decided there was no harm in going over to have a look himself after the giant owl that had flown over the treeline had left his sight. He arrived where the light had been to find the corpse of a giant centipede, one of his companions denying that there even is a giant centipede corpse, and most curiously of all, there was a human woman who seemed to be trying hide from them and failing miserably. "You know you're supposed to hide behind the tree, yes?" Graham asked the woman after staring at her for about 6 seconds with a befuddled look on his face.

Orky, now leaning on the tree near the group, observing them. He remembered that the Elf or Half-Elf gave him a funny look almost as if she had never seen an Orc before. Orky then went over to her and decided to make conversation because he had nothing else to do. Also while sitting down that a human woman came out behind a tree he thought he had searched to look for people. But it looked like the grumpy human was handling it. "So I noticed you were staring at me earlier, have you never seen a Half-Orc before?" Orky tried as best he can to put on a friendly smile but he can only do so good because of his Orcish featuresm so he did look a little menacing when talking to the Half-Elf.

"Well, it was most definitely poisonous, druid. I'm glad you were unharmed.", Jakyn explained, rising from his crouched position as a group began to surround the slain insect. "Rather large, but nothing unusual. My tribe used to kill them for their meat. Just... avoid cutting the head.", the wood elf concluded, spinning around to see the half-orc he spotted before losing his mind at the sight of the mutilated bug. Jakyn let out a bit of a sigh, his biased assumption seemed sadly correct; the orc was dumb, and untrustworthy. Putting on a fake, chummy grin, the wood elf patted the orc's back as he began to move back towards the beaten path. "Come on, friend. It'll all become real if you take a walk and just don't think about it.", Jakyn said, hoping to console the brute and lure him away from the source of his distress. "Besides, the voice awaits."

✦ ✦ ✦

Jakyn kept his torch bright and well-burning as he walked towards the distant tower. He had seen a very large, armored figure farther up along the trail than himself, and had called out to it to come and join up with the other 'voice-seeking' companions. While the wood elf waited to see if the figure came towards them, he chatted with the two comrades he knew walked beside him; the half-elf woman, and the large half-orc. "It is pleasing to meet you both. You may have heard back there, but my name is Jakyn Thrynor. I come because of the voice's command; I assume you two do the same?"

A wrinkled old man in a simple gray robe plodded along through the forest at the behest of what he could only assume were the gods he'd turned his back on so long ago. Weeks before a voice had whispered to him in his mind telling him to answer it's call. He'd politely told the voice to go away and thought nothing more of it. The next few days it firmly asked him to answer it and he told it to piss off. Then, the voice shouted at him to go to its calling and he'd shouted even louder and told it to piss right the fuck off. It wasn't until the voice became a constant scream like a spoiled child demanding sweet rolls that the surly cleric had thrown up his hands and agreed to go.
That was several days ago. Now, he trudged through along the road toward a mysterious goal which he was sure was a spiteful trick by the gods. He stopped when he heard a noise of someone stomping toward him from around a bend of the main path toward the accursed call that was plaguing his mind. He didn't stop, simply took hold of his mace and continued walking, albeit more slowly and looking over his shoulder. Perhaps whatever the stranger was running toward wouldn't concern him although he had a gut feeling it very much did.

The sudden presence of the half-orc made her jump. Not by his appearance per say but by how intensely she had been focusing on the symbols seeking any sort of clue of what could be making the call or… if it was the Goddess in a different form. Judging by the markings, they were nothing she had ever seen and… honestly something that shouldn’t exist.

A seeing his expression change to a… smile? She provided him with a small curled lip smile in return and she offered an apologetic shrug. “I’ve been having dealing with Orcs recently; nothing negative to say but seeing a half-orc is new for me. Been seeing…” She turned her gaze to the Elf, “A lot of new things recently.” The intense sapphire blue gaze moved back to the Orc as she offered him a small nod. “Let’s just say I don’t get out much and this is my first real exploration so bear with me if I end up staring again. I’m still… processing; I guess would be the best explanation.”

Seeming as though the Wood Elf was taking the lead she chose to follow behind him, keeping a watchful eye out for any sort of useful information as well. His call back to them as she could feel the half-orc’s presence behind her, made her feel less like she was going through mad and more along the lines of understanding that the voice was, indeed real.

“So you heard the voice as well. It’s good to know that more are hearing it too. I am curious if it is the Golden Goddess but none of you look like followers. I am Norrlia Zelless.” Throwing a glance over her shoulder towards the half-orc who was nearly a foot taller than her she questioned, “What’s your name?” Though her ‘glance’ was more along the lines of an awkward neck bend to look up since she was practically eye line with his torso.

OrkytheOrc That Orc Guy

Nodded and listened as she spoke. He was very intrigued that she had recent dealings with pure Orcs. He will have to remeber to ask that for another time. "Dont worry I've met plenty of people who were new to my appearance. At least you didnt attack my on sight like most people." It was at that point the Wood-Elf. It was almost like a some kind of ghostly power went throw giving him chills. His Orcish senses went off again BAD TOUCH, BAD TOUCH. After the chills he noticed that after patting him on the back the Wood Elf began to lead the way back to the tower while everyone followed. The Wood Elf and the Half-Elf began to speak both identifying themselves and the voice that called then here. Orky didnt think much of the voice. When it called him he had that it had been just bug. But then the voice began to tell him he could help many people if he went where it told him. So he had followed. "Oh yeah that voice thing, yeah it told me to come here. But I dont think I heard anything about a Golden Goddess or somthing like that. It just told me I could help people if I listened to it, so I came." The Half-Elf ,which Orky now knew as Norrlia, had asked him his name. This brought a warm smile to Orkys face, he hadn't been asked that question in a while since most people just call him Orc or some kind of derogatory word. "My name is Orky, I dont have a fancy last name like you guys. I think I had one at one time but my mother kind of disowned me so I just let myself forget it. Also would you mind if I call you Lia, for me it rolls off the tounge better."

As Ko went to hide behind the tree a dizzying stench warned her of the impending doom seconds before she was about to walk knee deep in a huge pile of refuse. The druid stopped short of sinking into the stinky mound and clamped a hand over her mouth and nose. She gagged at the sight and smell of the big pile of poo. Not that Ko wasn't used to animal refuse, being raised in a forest. But that amount and the unbearable stench! There was nothing like this in her beloved forest. The thing was so foul and disgusting that somehow she knew the humungous centipede had something to do with it. Ugh! You nasty creature. Kosara begrudged as she promptly stepped away from the tree and the huge dung pile, and promptly came face to face with a group of people. Well, bugger! She resigned herself to the failed hiding attempt and stayed put as a male woodland elf proclaimed his intentions as peaceful and showed some interest in the creature Ko had manage to best mostly with the help of the snow-white owl.

Should I answer back. She wondered as the man introduced himself as Jakyn and got busy with the centipede's corps. A half-orc also showed up and approached the bug-creature to inspect it, as it would appear. But something about the centipede affected the big half-orc drastically and he went rushing about in the bush like a mad person, shouting something about the centipede not even being real. Ha! Don't know what that's about but I should keep an eye out for that one. As this thought occurred a female half-elf also approached the dead centipede. Were they all travelling together? Ko wondered. And did I make such a huge ruckus during the skirmish as to attract such big a group? Just than another man approached, this time a human, like herself. He seemed to imply she was bad at hiding herself, which of course was ridiculous. She was a master of disguise!

"Well... If you knew what I found behind that tree, trust me, you'd promptly step out of cover just as fast." Ko said and shrugged. But hearing Jakyn speak about the voice awaiting them her ears perked up. So it was true then! They had all received the call and were heading for the tower that was visible in the distance. Well... Since we are all going in the same direction, I guess there is no point in stubbornly trying to travel on my own. Ko caught up with the group and introducing herself said that she as well was here because of the call of dreams.

"I was not raised to believe in deities..." Kosara intoned. "But I do believe one thing. Whoever or whatever sent out the call was probably desperate enough to get us to this place, since I was not able to ignore it. And I tried!"
