Pokemon: The Plague Dragons (A more mature pokemon RP)

This will be a slightly more realistic, less fluffy version of pokemon, but still keep a lot of aspects of it. Warning, I'm not a big pokemon fan, so if I'm wrong on something, please correct me.

For disclosure, Characters can be either trainers or wild pokemon. People playing wild can be caught by trainers(other people), but ONLY if you are willing to allow it.

I would be willing to take part in this! I used to really enjoy playing pokemon though I haven't played it in years now. Anyway I would be happy to play a wild pokemon, it would be an interesting roleplay challenge I think.

I am still an active player and this sounds interesting, so would all generations (up to current gen 7) or will it be selective. Given the choice id be a pokemon from gen 5 if that helps kinda ref for you.

Both, depends, but I'm thinking of only allowing one character per person unless you had your own pokemon. And People playing pure pokemon are playing wild or uncaught domestic pokemon

Under pokemon, what do you mean by skills? And will moves work more like the anime or the game?

Edit: How many pokemon can a trainer have? (6/under, of course)

Skills, as in what did that character learn to do non-ability wise.

I think more like the game, if your asking what moves you can have because from what I watched of the show, they normally only had powers of their type, whilst in the games, it was possible for them to have abilities not of their type. I'm just not sure.

On moves I was meaning more, is it limited to 4 at a time or is it just anything they can learn up to their level (Sans tm/hm unless learned, of course)

And skills like, for instance, Pikachu is good at searchinf for berries or something like that.

@Taevith Yes four at a time, but of combat whatever abilities you have access to, but I wouldn't have more then 8.

Skills can be anything like that, yes. It could also be for a particularly smart pokemon to make simple structures, store things, or whatever comes to mind.

I'm making a Wild psychic pokemon, for communication reasons. Just remember, the more basic the pokemon, the more powerful you can make it.
