The setting is the powerful and beautiful kingdom of Woodgrove. A large town full of wood and stone buildings surround the famous Woodgrove Castle. The towering monolith inspires hope in its allies, and fear in its enemies.
All those faithful to the king and his kingdom are welcome within the walls of this kingdom.

The sun rose slowly and lazily of the prosperous kingdom of Woodgrove. Sunlight washed over the weathered stones of the immovable fortress of Woodgrove Castle. Slowly the servants and cooks were getting up to prepare the halls and food for the royal family. An attendant was going around to the rooms of the family to wake them up for their duties, leaving the crown royals for last.

The Princess Addy had been awake for a while now. She was daintily seated in front of her vanity, carefully tugging her soft brush through her curls. She liked to get up early to watch the sunrise then begin preparing for her day.

Upon reaching a bustling marketplace, an intricately-decorated merchant caravan slowed to a stop with a little jerk at the end, jolting Mina awake. The Drizarian spy had managed to sneak onto the carriage when it had stopped for a rest on the way to Woodgrove. The vehicle had been transporting silks into the kingdom, and Mina had found herself buried under the luxurious fabric, which she had thought convenient, as she had taken her ride into Woodgrove. She had not expected to fall asleep, but the cargo had proven to be more... comfortable, than she had thought. It was only fortunate that she had awoken on time to avoid getting caught.

She could hear the footsteps and chatter of passing crowds through the walls of the carriage, and quietly slipped out through the back doors before anyone got to them. There were too many people in the area for anyone to suspect that she did not belong within the walls of the kingdom. She began to look around, hoping for an opportunity to start her search for information. However, she knew that she would probably only make significant progress when night fell, for that would be when the ones who were more likely to take a bribe would be active.

Maximilian traversed the palace corridors with sure measured steps, nodding his head respectfully to the guards as he passed them. There was a slight morning chill today, and the brisk bite to the air was doing wonders to shake the last shackles of sleep from him. He approached the large, ornate wooden doors that sheltered the library and entered. The tomes inside made this a magician's playground and treasure trove. The alcoves of the library extending beneath the castle, storing older books collected by ancient kings that otherwise may have been lost to time. The smallest tug of a smile crossed Maximilian's face as he thought on it.

Eli was rising out of bed just as the attendant knocked on his door. He pulled on his clothing for the day and went out of the door. He passed many servants and guards on his way to the dining hall where he expected the rest of his family to gather once they were all up.

Ember was pulling on her armor soon after she had been awoken for role call.

Stepping out of the warmth of the bath with his husband, Cynric quietly smiled and kissed the young knight on the lips, quickly getting dressed and dressing his husband as well. Both men headed to the hall for some food.
