A rapidly growing town bordering the states of North Carolina and Virginia. The town was created for a sole purpose, that being student education. The whole town was built around the main campus of Glades Fall High School, the pinnacle of high schools in the entire country. The town was your average big city style town, all the famous brands, food chains and entertainment venues came swarming when the towns reputation started growing.
Glades Fall High School
Having such a prestigious reputation meant that the school had many applicants, due to this the school had to place restrictions on the how many students were accepted. The students school results had to be above the average of the country wide student average, however there was a twist, the average result had to be in the subjects the student wished to study at high school, ignoring the compulsory curriculum. This allowed students to be given a fair chance of being enrolled even if they have below average grades in the compulsory curriculum. Another deciding factor was that the family of the student had to be living in the town of Glades Fall.
Whilst the school upholds the mandatory curriculum of the country, it's main focus was that of the students future. their class structure was based on the subjects that the student wished to pursue, this led to the creation of what the school calls Speciality classes. If enough students were interested in a particular topic then a class was created to suit the needs of the students. The schools limits were that of the imagination of their students.

Name: Alekanekalia Mahealani Nicknames: Aleka Age: 16 Appearance: Alekanekalia has always been a petite girl ever since she was young. she stands at five feet, and weighs a good one hundred and twenty pounds. if it had not been for her constant dancing and playing sports when she was much younger, then she may have been a little chubby. however, she has managed to maintain her slim and toned build. Alekanekalia has long brown hair that falls in a mix of soft curls and waves past her waist, Usually when she out and about she lets her stay down. But in the kitchen she puts her hair up into a bun. Alekanekalia does not have either any tattoos or piercings, other than the two in her ears - which she tends to accessorise with cute earrings. She usually kind be found wearing clothes that are a mix of cute, edgy, or nerdy, She really loves her fandom tshirts.
Personality: Alekanekalia is a smart, care-free and down to earth girl. she has a soft and warm exterior. however, she can can be very friendly or snarky when she chooses to, but usually that depends on what mood she's in. she can be very closed up at times as she tries her best to not let anyone besides her best friends get close to her to keep herself from getting hurt emotionally and physically. at times she has this energy inside her that oftentimes thrusts her into the spotlight - but that isn't always where she wants to be; she would rather prefer to stay low-key. luckily, Alekanekalia knows how to relax, and is perfectly capable of switching from a passionate, driven idealist to that imaginative and enthusiastic free spirit on the dance floor, often with a suddenness that can surprise even her closest friends. being in the mix also gives her a chance to connect emotionally with others as she believes everyone should take time to recognize and express their feelings. however, she needs to be quite cautious. if she relies too much on her intuition, assume, or anticipate too much about a friend's thoughts, she can misread the signals and frustrate plans that a more straightforward approach would have made simple. but everyone also has their bad side. when in an emotional wreck, Alekanekalia can become very reckless; not considering anyone's thoughts and feelings. the first thing on her mind will be spoken, no matter how bad it is. once she's let it all out, she'll resort to blocking herself from everyone and reality. give her a couple days and she'll be back to normal.
Biography: Alekanekalia Mahealani was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on the twentieth of November to a lovely young couple, Merida O'Reaghan and Viliamu Mahealani. They had met, when her mother came to Hawaii to study the local cuisine and had started working at her Father Viliamu's family restaurant, They soon fell in love with each other and married. They took over Viliamu's family restaurant and worked hard to raise money for their small family. Though as Alekanekalia grew up, she stayed with her father's parents most of time due to her parents being too busy running the restaurant to earn money; they looked after her well and treated her as if she was their daughter too. however, at the age of nine years old, they both passed away due to a random attack from a stranger in the middle of the streets. the two had simply refused to give up their special belongings which led to their death. till now, the murderer has not yet been caught, and the case has been dropped. it caused a great burden on the whole of the Mahealani family. after the loss of Alekanekaliaβs grandparents, things became a lot more difficult for her parents; They had thought it would be best for their daughter to get out of Hawaii, So Merida and Viliamu sent their daughter to live with Merida's Parents in Glades Fall. The O'Reaghans were happy to have their granddaughter living with them, After trying out her cooking and seeing her photos. They encouraged her to apply Glade Fall High. Her freshman year there was interesting to say the least, She was trying to get use to living in a new place and struggling with the death of her Mahealani grandparents.

Lorelei is 5'1, and a little shy of 110 lbs. She's not wispy, but built rather solidly to accentuate her habit of climbing and leaping about to get to points in the city where she could paint without interruption.
Hair, jet black with hues of purple and a few points of grey. Lorelei doesn't want to admit she accidentally bleached a few pieces of hair with her last mixture of paint. She often keeps it tied back with a bit of leather cord, or a hand-painted bandanna. The emblem on the front is a pair of painted wings, her signature when she was out painting.
She dresses like what she's described, "Post apocalyptic pixie" her attire is mostly paint splashed, dyed funky colors and often designs painted or stenciled across the fabric with a bleach spray. Her favorite piece of clothing is a vest with a series of hidden compartments and adorned with a bunch of pins from the various shows and comics she's read.
She's heavily tattooed, due to a deal she made with a tattoo artist who caught Lorelei painting her building, she's tattooed along her back, both arms are full sleeves, upper chest tattoo, and one leg. Her back is a pair of patchwork wings, her right arm is a series of muse themed pieces, representing ink, paint, and digital. Her left arm is comic book themed, with heroines who've inspired her.
Personality:
Lorelei is well, not always on the same plane of reality as her peers. Often she's absorbed in her sketchbook, or a potential new piece of clothing. She often will listen to those before giving her opinion, of course if this is about art. She goes from scalpel to chainsaw, often speeding up and showing an increased amount of enthusiasm about the subject. She isn't used to the school uniform, finding subtle ways to disguise her own pins and art as part of her uniform.
As she isn't exactly used to a proper school environment, she's still a little uneasy. This world, isn't the world she's accustomed to. She doesn't need to keep running, or even figure out how to get her next piece up. She still feels the other shoe is eventually going to fall, but til then, she's going to learn as much as she can!
Lorelei is a bit of a brawler, not hesitating to push back against others. She often will throw herself into a situation without thinking of the repercussions of her actions, usually to her disadvantage. She often begins to fidget in place if in a boring place for too long, resulting in another graffiti charge.
Bio:
To say Lorelei is fascinated with art is an understatement, she lives, breathes and surrounds herself with art. Growing up privileged left her isolated, often lonely. This resulted in her leaving home to adventure about the city, to mainly find something to do. That's when she met the woman who inspired her, Blackcats, a street artist of some talent who was currently putting up a statue of a winged woman holding a paintbrush like it was Excalibur.
Lorelei was fascinated by this woman, and her art. She approached Blackcats, who either was lonely herself, or saw some spark in Lorelei. She began teaching Lorelei the ropes, simple fills, shapes, and how to do rollups. Even suggested fashion choices to let her move from building to scaffolding, to walls a little easier. Her designer jeans were quickly switched to paint stained cargo pants.
Lorelei took to art like this is the first time someone introduced her to oxygen, she couldn't get enough. She began working with Blackcats through the city, helping with materials, pieces, and occasionally a lookout. Lorelei began striking out on her own, but in her excitement, she was caught and blamed with not just her pieces, but Blackcats as well.
As she sat shivering in Juvie, she waited for her parents to bail her out.
They never came...
As sentencing came around, Lorelei found herself sitting in a court room with nobody in her corner. Even her stupid public defender didn't show up.
A woman walked through the door, and gave the judge a heavy folder. The elderly man read the documents inside, before looking to Lorelei and back to the woman. The woman sat beside Lorelei and introduced herself. She was a representative of Glade Falls. They were willing to have her serve her sentence out in a more productive nature. She would enroll in Glade Fall as an artist with a focus on street art and fashion design.
Lorelei accepted the offer eagerly. Regardless of her reason, these are people who would teach her art!

Glade Fall's pastor was highly praised when he had his daughter. Eva was born on a bright spring day in April. Definitely a gift from God as the Easter season approached. This daughter was to be named Evangeline Banks. The pastor (Robert Banks) had met his wife (Priscilla Davis) during a church mission trip. He brought her back from Sierra Leone to marry her as soon as possible. The two had fell in love. Not even a year later, their one and only daughter was born. A sweet, kind, generous child Eva grew up very naive to the world around her and often found herself in situations where her morals were pushed.
Being the pastor's daughter was a job in itself. You always have to be at church every Sunday, and any other day that it was called for. You have to have a good reputation in the eyes of all the town members. You have to have a well behaved online profile. You have to be well groomed and manicured. You have to have good grades. You have to not have sex until marriage.
It was the last one Eva had messed up on.
Quentin was a sweet, kind, generous child as Evangeline was. He went to church every Sunday with his parents and got good grades. He was the star football player at GFHS and quite the good looking boy. Quentin and Eva had gotten quite the crush on one another as they grew up together. Both of their parents found it just fine that the two were together. Often, they joked about how one day the two would get married and take on the family's church and continue to grace Glades Fall with a good faith.
Sex was something Eva had been clueless about, As Quentin fiddled with the button of her blouse in the basement of the church, she gasped in horror. "No!" she pushed away his hands rapidly, wrapping her arms around herself. This charade lasted a few months before the pressure finally kicked in. The two had unprotected sex, and before Evangeline knew it she was pregnant.
With tears she came to her parents, between sobs she gasped, "I don't know what to do." Her parents were outraged. Disgusted. Humiliated. They did what they only knew how to do- pray. They prayed as they purchased a ticket for their daughter. They prayed as they told the congregation she was just off on a mission trip.
They prayed as their daughter boarded the plane away from Glades Fall to receive an abortion.
Returning from her plane her parents greeted her as a new woman, she had been saved from this spawn inside of her. The whole congregation cheered and applaud at her return, curious of what her experience was. Through clenched teeth she explained how closer to God she felt, and how she was just happy she was now home. Evangeline was a changed woman, not quite the sweet sixteen most girls in town were, but something different. Her return back to GFHS was a warm welcome, but she is just ready to get her life back.
