Introduction
Kokoro Academy, like many others, is an institution in Musutafu dedicated to the training of Quirks utilization, however, has the reputation of being just a beginner's school for aspiring heroes. Specifically, those who weren’t deemed to be as blessed with excess talent and skill. A good proportion of its students leave after the first year, transferring to what they consider to be better schools. So far, this method has been working quite well for a handful of former students. Along with their low-standard facilities, insufficient financial support, and lack in personnel, the persistence of this pattern over the years, eventually lead to Kokoro Academy’s current status as the worst school in the country.

Fortunately, the upcoming school year will be different. Management of the school has been shifted to the Youthful Heroine, Misao "Childish" Okawa. Although still a licensed professional hero, given her age, she has leaned away from the public eye for the past few years and has been dedicating her time towards her personal projects. Currently, Kokoro Academy has yet to give out an official statement on the supposed overhaul in their facilities, curriculum, and staff. However, rumor has it that a significant amount of funds has been invested in the school’s renovation and their innovative way of educating.

For one reason or another, you’ve taken interest into Kokoro Academy and have applied despite not knowing the details to its up and coming changes. One thing’s for sure though, you certainly want to become a professional hero and Kokoro Academy seems like the perfect school for you.
Quirks
The setting of My Hero Academia is brimming with a wide variety of unique quirks, with some being obviously stronger than others. However, not all of them seem to translate well when shifted to a text-based roleplay, especially the powerful ones. With that in mind, the rule I want everyone to keep in mind when deciding on a quirk is KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid).

Several quirks seem to follow this idea, so hopefully we can adhere to this as well when making characters. Good example's would be Steel (Tetsutetsu), Tail (Ojiro), Somnabulist (Midnight), Foldabody (Edgeshot), and Erasure (Eraserhead).

However, this does not mean that I will reject more complex quirks, such as Creation (Momo) and Comic (Manga). The process though, of working on the details of these types of quirks and the inevitable nerfs, might cause too much of a deviation from the initial proposed quirk, leading to dissatisfaction from you guys. So yeah. If a quirk has the potential to be imbalanced right from the start, I advice to avoid it entirely.

I'm going to adjust this to the requirements. Plus it gives a chance to see if the quirk will work.

@ShwiggityShwah Quirk seems too strong and does too much. Look at Edgeshot's Quirk. Or at least the core idea behind since his level of mastery seems to high.

@Toots

Hoping to have a quirk that acts more like a gas, swarm, or cloud than something stretchy. I'm going to limit the types of paper he could use, some of the powers and try again.

The fact that hes weak against fire and water and wind, common quirk elements would offset the power level and versatility. Np though I'm happy to work through it.

@ShwiggityShwah I'll try going into more detail on why the quirk isn't acceptable at its current state.

Will be added to the OP.

Quirks 101:

Dont worry man I got it. I'll have to do something like EdgeShot. The alternative has too many applications.

@Scribe of Thoth Aside from being familiar with that OC, everything seems fine so far. I'll hold off the critiquing later on. I mean, it'll be more of clarifications rather than nerfs.

Honestly, I just found the art on google and liked the look. Do tell if it seems like a ripoff.

Here's a quirk idea:
BPM: User draws kinetic energy from an object and transfers it into another. Range is only about 6 inches from user's hands. Large amounts of energy can be transferred very quickly, but the user cannot store much energy in their body without backlash.

@geminironin After transferring the energy, what happens? Is it like Gambit's ability or am I missing something?

@Animal Similar to Sugar Rush but a bit vague with the conditions.

@Toots The object would shoot off in whatever direction it was moving, no explosions here. I wouldn't be able to transfer energy into something perfectly still, but even a little momentum would be enough. Like a solid wall wouldn't move with this ability, but a push on a car would let it work.

Got three ideas for Quirks that Imma throw at you.

Menace: Basically a Quirk that draws the attention of everyone in a certain radius to the user. At first it'll just be 'drawing attention', but later on, it can be advanced to making people feel intimidated/attracted. Basically gonna be an aggro tool. Has the most effect on people who can see the eyes, and is similarly countered if people close their eyes.

Rocket: Their arms can turn into armored gauntlets with rockets at the back of them, enabling them to hit really hard and really fast. Basically though, it's a physical power up Quirk with a rocket-y flavor. Further advancement would probably be stuff like manifesting rockets elsewhere, or bulking up the gauntlets, or sending out jet blasts. The rocket fuel probably runs off of GUTS AND DETERMINATION AND HEROIC SPIRIT and doesn't have a limit to how hard they can run, but overheat will cause some nasty shit.

Ride-On King: Telekinetic Quirk that allows them to turn anything into a goddamn hoverboard, as long as said object isn't locked down by anything, and as long as they can get on top of the object. If they ride on a person, said person won't be able to control where they go, but will still be able to move around and smack the rider off if they want to. Ascending is difficult, descending is easy, and the amount of tricks are super wild.

@Duoya@Scribe of Thoth I'll get back to you guys.

@geminironin Wouldn't that entail slowing/stopping others too? I think it'll be hard to moderate since it kinda has the potential to be overpowered.

@ERode I actually like all three.
