[OOC] Mobile Suit Gundam: Return of War.

The year is UC 0257 The Earth Federation has been rebuilt and created a time of peace and prosperity. Their engineer’s having been allowed to rebuild and restore old Mobile Suits and Gundams alike as a statement to the long history of war and suffering. The suits are stationed on the Space Colony Advent, where they remain as a museum of sorts. The military while still rigorously trained is somewhat looked down upon as they seem to be useless in the eyes of the public and many believe they need to be disbanded entirely. Federation officers disagree, Many feel that there may still be a threat out there waiting to attack. They would be correct, A newly formed Zeon now called Fukushū Zeon has been slowly building ranks from the outer sections of the Earthsphere and guiding them to regions of space farther than the Federation wants to travel to build their forces. Now they make their move. The first contact was December 7th, 0256 Side 7 falls under attack by a then-unknown fleet of mobile suits and nearly falls were it not for the enemy pulling out just as they were about to take the point. A transmission then reached the Earth Federation base on Earth where a man wearing an old Zeon uniform appeared and announced the rise of Fukushū Zeon. He introduced himself as Crimson Hold. An alias that he would be known by for now. He announced that he was leading this group and they had grown tired of the federation's rule and demanded the federation step down and disband or face their destruction. A week later Side 7 fell to the enemy and a new War began. The federation scrambled to train new Mobile Suit pilots and recruit as many new soldiers as they could manage and before they knew it the Federation was nearly back to its former glory at the height of their power. Then the space Colony Advent was attacked…

- Multiple characters are allowed to a maximum of 2 unless the GMs agree to allow you to play a third based on you're playing of the two you already have
- The MS from Gundam Unicorn are to be inquired about beforehand as many of them are biometrically locked to one user and the suits themselves are insanely powerful.
- Zeon forces will, of course, be using those style of MS (Zaku, Dom, Kampfer, etc) and the Federation will be using the Federation style (GM, Jegan, ReZEL, etc)
- Our player characters will all have the option to have their MS be unique or Gundam-esque in fashion. Example for Zeon being Char's Zaku and more unique types of custom MS as well as having Gundams available for the Federation forces.
- IF a Zeon Player were to have come up with a logical and understandable reason for their character to be piloting an actual Gundam. Such as they were able to pilot said Gundam after being trained by the Federation and took their Gundam when they defected to Zeon. then they will be allowed to do so upon GM approval.
- A CS will be posted with the OOC so that players can build characters for the most part altogether. Feel free to work together on building interpersonal relationships, perhaps a pair of brothers on different sides of the conflict, a pair of ace pilots equals in every way that always seems to meet on the battlefield. these kinds of character stories are what make RP and Gundam both great and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

• Ragnarok Gun | A weapon that is capable of destroying a large asteroid, the Ragnarok Gun is a weapon that strikes dread into anyone that faces it. It isn't an anti-MS weapon but rather an anti-fortification/anti-starship weapon. The gun is that big that the Mabinogi must deploy without it's binders so that the sub-arms can support the weight of the weapon. The weapon is capable of firing once before needing to be recharged back at base. The weapon fires a massive beam of energy.

Name: Crimson Hold

Personality: Crimson Hold is a larger than life man. A man of grand gestures and a willingness to put everything on the line to prove his point. He has a firm grasp on history.
Appearance: A tall man, approximately 6'2, he has long, brown hair and always wears a mask, it covers the top half of his head, with the only thing visible being his eyes and his head from the nose down. The mask's key defining feature is a large horn that protrudes from the front of the mask like a unicorns horn.
History: Not much is known about the man called Crimson Hold. There are people who know of his beginnings, but they are all either dead or hiding. What is known is that he began his political campaign as governor of Side 3 with his fierce campaign of Contolism as well as his staunch anti-earth position. Now, several years later, after biding his time, making secret deals with the industrialists on earth and
MS/Gundam: Several, his main suit is the NuSazabi. A varient of the MSN-04 Sazabi, but with a number of updates, including a more powerful beam-rifle with a Beam-saber-bayonet.

Personality: A bright and chirpy individual. Somewhat oblivious to the world going on around him, if he focusses on something, he can let other things slip by him. Gregory also has an immense fire within him, seeming to dispise anyone that does something he deems "Unjust" he even took self-defense classes for this.
Appearance: About 5'2, Gregory has shoulder-length ashy-black hair, with naturally browning skin. He typically wears baggy clothes.
History: Just your ordinary kid from Colony Advent, he was born to ordinary parents, lived a regular upbringing, took Judo classes, is a member of the Mobile-Suit club at school and regularly competes in the local "Under 20's Mobile Suit Design and Battle" scene. He's in school where he's a bit of a recluse, choosing to spend more time building his small community of Haro's than spending time with people, but has plenty of people that call him their friend. He has no idea that he is about to be flung into the world of fast-paced action and kill-or-be-killed combat.

Personality: Lin is introverted but not one to avoid being social. She will talk to anyone who wants to talk and is generally not judgmental. She holds freedom of thought and action in high regard, so she encourages opinions, innovations, and suggestions among her allies and crew. Among strangers, she will be generally polite if the situation is not charged. If asked her opinion, she will give it in full regardless of audience.

Despite being generally pleasant to be around, she does have a lot of sarcasm in her. She also responds coolly to anyone trying to be in control of others. If they attempt to force others to conform, Lin will become hostile. As part of her merc training, she received close combat training and is thus always observant and prepared for a fight.

Her hobbies mostly include reading, training, drawing, and writing. She is also a rather hardcore gamer of both video games and tabletop RPGs.

History: Lin is relatively unknown as a pilot since most of her activities garner little, if any, recognition. Within the military, she is commonly known by her MS name, Einsamkeit. She is sent on recon missions for the most part, but she also gets missions to assassinate or perform guerilla warfare. These missions are always black, so few hear anything but tales.

The only commonly known facts about her is that she defected from her mercenary crew when they joined the Zeon side and that she is vehemently opposed to being part of the actual military. She is known to have her own crew, quarters, and land for a small base, thus acting as an independent operator. Her successful mission record and reasonable pricing keeps her in nearly eternal employment with the Federation. She keeps her status as a Newtype hidden to prevent any friction from it.

MS/Gundam: "Einsamkeit" (Heavily modified Gids Geese)

Notable Differences:
1. Gundarium Gamma Armor (reduces weight of suit)
2. High Efficiency Dual Ø-cycle Reactor (Maximum output of 21600 kW, combined with a smart system and conservation system to only use as much power as necessary and to preserve power for long periods of time)
3. Variable Output Thrusters (Function as standard thrusters as well as hydrojets when in water, though water thrust is decreased by 20%)
4. Prototype Atmospheric Barrier (Combining the i-field generator with strategically placed integral generator banks, this barrier functions as a hands free all around Beam Shield for the MS. The primary purpose of this is to allow the suit to enter or exit the atmosphere without damage. If used in actual combat for protection, it will collapse far quicker than a standard Beam Shield while drawing large amounts of energy.)
5. Pyschoframe with biocomputer and bio-sensor (allows movement as if extension of body as well as sensory input from sensors and suit rather than computer screens)

Total weight sits at 27 t normal, 50 t loaded. Overall, this MS has much of its weight stripped due to lighter armor, no beam cannon, and lack of missile weapons, thus creating a large increase in mobility.

Fixed Equipment:
1. Sand Barrel: This essentially functions as a chaff launcher, though it is much higher tech and can even temporarily mess with funnel movement and/or even damage them.
2. MMSBL (Multi-Mode Scout Beam Launcher): Due to being put into unknown conditions and expected to operate essentially solo for extended periods of time, this launcher has two medium barrels, a single large barrel and three firing modes. The primary mode uses the largest barrel to function as a Beam Launcher, firing slower but larger and more destructive particles. This use is for slower targets that are more heavily armored. The secondary mode is semi-auto, using only the top medium barrel, causing it to function as a standard beam rifle. The third fire mode is a full auto mode using both medium barrels. As expected, this consumes double the power. The weapon is powered by the specially constructed hardpoints in the MS forearm and within the manipulators, pulling directly from the generators for both ammo and electricity. When not in use, this weapon can be stored on the back of the MS.
3. Beam Falx x2: These beam weapons are two handed blades shaped with a slight curve, the main hold having the concave side facing towards the opponent. One is stored on each hip. They function as a very high powered Beam Saber.
4. Anti-Beam Shroud: Essentially a cloak of cloth that can absorb beam weapon hits. Once it has lost the coating, it is generally discarded. The MS can hold one spare.
5. Recon Funnel x 2: These are low signature remotely controlled drones in essence. They can extend the MS sensor range by up to another 10 km from their position if sent to the absolute edge of the MS sensor range. Their bank of sensors include optical, infrared, and forms of sonar. They can operate for up to 24 hours before returning to recharge their generators at the MS. Though much smaller than the MS, they are not invisible and lack any sort of defensive measures.
6. Funnel x 2: Standard beam funnels.

Optional Equipment:
1. SMH (Scout Multi-Harness): This is essentially a Molle for an MS. It can hold spare e-pacs, items required for missions, beam sabers (unable to charge on harness), and even up to two beam handgun weapons.
2. Beam Handgun: This weapon comes with two firing options, selected by flipping a switch on the side of the gun. It can either fire directly from the generator or fire from its own supply. This weapon is a last ditch option in case of destruction or loss of the other, more powerful, weapons or if the suit generators are running low. If powered from its own supply, it can provide 30 shots until depleted and needing reloaded from an e-pac.
3. Beam Shield: While not standard gear, the MS can equip and use a Beam Shield. When equipped with this, it cannot use its MMSBL effectively. It will then use Beam Handguns and melee weapons to compensate. This loadout is rare at best.
