Leo is the kind of person who asks no questions when a friend needs help, running to their aid as soon as he possibly can. This applies in day to day life and on the battlefield. He will readily sacrifice himself to save someone close to him. He builds strong attachments to those he is close with viewing them as family beyond simply being friends.

He has a switch in his brain that allows him to instantly go from happy and go lucky to a violent and dangerous fighter in an instant. Years of training and focussing his anger have allowed him to keep it in line and so he is able to enjoy life to its full without the risk of exploding into a rage fuelled fit.

Biography:

Leo was born to parents who were beyond ecstatic to have him. For years they had tried to have children until suddenly, after almost giving up all hope, Leolin came into being. For the early years of his life he was much like any other baby, regular tears and soiled diapers but as he began to grow a deep anger within became evident. Severe tantrums and outbursts made life difficult for Leo's parents, so much so that by his fourth birthday they sought the help of the village elder. Part medicine man and part village leader, the elder was shocked by the child's inner aggression. However, he knew of a man who could tame the anger but it would mean giving up their son until the goal was achieved. Leo's parents reluctantly accepted, leaving him with the man known only as Kojiro.

In the years that followed Leo was taught a two thousand year old martial art known as Fists of the Swift Wind. The basis of the martial art was to utilise a persons anger to increase their damage output. The anger within Leo shocked Kojiro but not through a sense of fear, but through surprise that the youngsters potential was unbound. Throughout the history of the fighting style nobody had become so advanced at such a young age and so Kojiro grew excited.

It was four years after the start of his training that Leo was allowed to reunite with his parents and through it came an emotional outpouring from his mother and father. They couldn't believe the change in their child, particular the fact that he was more like a young adult than an eight year old. Even so they felt a level of guilt that he had missed much of his childhood having spent it training. Their opinion changed when they saw him showcase his capabilities in a local fighting tournament however, defeating adults three times his size through nothing but technique. They saw his natural gift and so, reluctantly, let him return to Kojiro. They hoped that his talent might one day do the world some good, even if it meant that they missed his early life.

It wasn't until his eighteenth birthday that Leo's training was finally complete. Other fighters his age had levels of power that had surpassed him, focussing on increasing their strength. Kojiro focussed on teaching Leo the true techniques and secrets of the Swift Wind, increasing his power would come later. His body had been trained to almost be able to fight on autopilot, the accuracy and power of his strikes far surpassing what he should be capable of.

At the age of nineteen, while meditating in a field on a summers day, Leo felt the air around him grow colder and the soft breeze made way for an unnerving stillness. When he opened his eyes he found himself in a realm that he had never seen before. Then almost in an instant he soon found himself returned to where he originally was. Over the years that followed he continued to delve into this other realm and found a way to utilise it to improve his fighting style. However, he is only able to maintain his presence in the realm for a maximum of five minutes at present.

To the present day he keep in contact with Kojiro and spends much of his time taking care of his parents. When he isn't with either he is often training or helping those in need in his home village.

Abilities:
Realm Jumper - Leo accidentally stumbled across an ability to 'jump' into a realm that he still knows little about. During the jump his body is transported for a microsecond to this other realm before returning. He can reappear at any point within twenty metres of where he disappeared. If he focusses his power he is capable of staying in the realm for longer and will be able to reappear further from where he disappeared. Excessive jumping in short spaces of time take a toll on Leo's body and so the ability should be used sparingly. Also any momentum he has carries from realm to realm which means that if he is flying in the hidden realm, he will keep that speed when he reappears.
Complete Focus - Leo has a complete focus that few can rival. This allows him to keep up with whoever he is fighting or watching, at least in a mental capacity. Just because his mind can process and react to extremely fast stimulus, doesn't necessarily mean his body can.

Techniques
• Wall of Fists [OFFENSIVE] - Taking a face on stance on his opponent, Leo is able to unload one hundred punches in the space of a second. While not full strength, the barrage is capable of inflicting heavy damage while also disorientating the opponent.
• Sonic Boom [OFFENSIVE] - Bringing his hands together at great speed, Leo creates a directional shockwave that can shatter stone.
• Cross Slash [OFFENSIVE] - Leo charges sharped edges of ki along the base of his hands. He brings them down across his chest in the shape of an X. A wave of cutting air erupts forward cutting into anything it makes contact with. From close range it is capable of dismemberment.
• Blinding Flash [DEFENSIVE] - While he is far from being a strong ki user, he knows how to utilise his power to be most effective. Focussing his ki into a single point he can generate a blinding flash that will affect anyone looking directly at him, friend or foe. The effects are temporary.

Trademark Techniques

• Sudden Storm [OFFENSIVE] - Leo channels his strength into his fists until they glow with energy, with each hit from them feeling like a babies punch. Within three seconds of the glow fading the opponent experiences the true full force of each punch simultaneously. The longer his fists remain charged the more damage inflicted.

Ultimate Techniques

• Apocalyptic Fist [OFFENSIVE] - Leo stands his ground, planting his feet firmly shoulder width apart. The air around him visibly begins to distort as if reality around him is breaking apart. The sound generated during this time reaches a deafening level before the cracks around Leo engulf him at which point he disappears, leaving total silence. During this time he is transported to the other realm, he still doesn't completely understand. There time acts differently, minutes being mere seconds in the normal world. While there Leo focusses all of his power, strength and energy into his fist. He then launches himself forward as fast as he can. After a brief time he breaks back through to normality right in front of his opponent. Only the fastest enemies have any hope of avoiding the attack. Upon impact the punch is capable of punching through whatever it hits, leaving a gaping hole in larger opponents or totally wiping out smaller ones.

Personality: While not exactly insecure he isn't as proud as he pretends to be, and at least part of the reason behind his acting is to get people to underestimate him. He is willing to bend the rules if necessary but doesn't outright break them. He hates losing but as long as he believes his opponent didn't outright cheat is willing to accept the outcome, otherwise he will contest it in what ever way he can think off without cheating himself.

• Keen Eye: Reo has a natural aptitude for martial arts and the skills that they involve. Whether it be from practise or simply observation, he learns new moves in half the time of even the most skilled martial artists - Reo starts with one additional technique and can create an additional one at the end of each saga.

Basic Techniques:
• Sword Kick [OFFENSIVE] - An improvised move where Reo drops his sword and kicks the base of the hilt with his foot to send it propelling towards the intended target.
• Sword Drop [OFFENSIVE] - Reo holds his sword in one hand and slashes at their opponent, but instead of actually attacking, pulls off a feint. The released sword falls to his other hand, which is grabbed to create a genuine slash.
• Cutting Shield [DEFENSIVE] - Reo swiftly swings his sword around his entire body without cutting himself. The speed of this technique makes it difficult for an adversary to get close to him in order to attack at close range without risk of injury. There are openings in it though.
• Watermelon Splitting [OFFENSIVE] - A two-handed, overhead slash meant to cleanly and precisely cleave an opponent's head in twain.
• White Fang [OFFENSIVE] - A two move combo in which Reo fires an uppercut to the opponent's head with the lead arm, then drives in a punch with the dominant arm from above. It must be stressed that there is virtually no delay between the two punches.

Trademark Techniques: Flash and kill [OFFENSIVE]Reo rushes full speed at the opponent, knocks them up into the air, and slashes them with the quick draw technique as they fall from the sky.

Ultimate Technique: Blazing Trail [OFFENSIVE] - Reo infuses his sword with nearly all of his ki and charges at his opponent. When close enough he unleashes the stored ki while slashing his sword around close to his opponent, the sword never actually touching them. Instead it leaves a trail of ki behind it which does hit them.

History: The oldest child of a female sword fighter and a well of merchant his parent hoped he would follow in his father's footsteps but never pressured him into it, knowing that that would have most likely have the opposite effect. When it became clear he was more far interested in learning to fight his mother was both proud of him, knowing he was a good person and worried because he might serious hurt.

When he was fifteen he convinced his uncle Fuyuki Matsuhita to train him in his family's seventy-five year old sword fighting style, and at first it seemed he would easily master it as he picked up on the physical aspect of it easily. However when it came to learning ki attacks, which was really the style's focus, he floundered. Eventually his younger cousin Emiko easily surpassed him despite starting training a year and a half later.

Fuyuki eventually told Reo that he wasn't suited for the Matsuhita-style of sword fighting but that he did real talent for non ki attacks. As a result his dream of creating his own style was born, though he stubbornly refused on giving up learning how to master ki.

The day he turned eighteen he left his village to travel the world and improve his skills, having decided to completely abandon what he learned from his uncle and start over from scratch. He quickly learned that traveling on his own while carrying a sword got him the wrong kind of attention and was forced to either improve or use some of the skills he had been taught. As a result his own fightingstyle was slowly starting to develop, though most of his own moves relied on either trickery, distractions or his sword since they were created spur of the moment.

Realizing the weaknesses that presented he decided that he needed both time and more examples to create better techniques and looked for a place he could settle down, and find plenty of other martial artists.

Other:He refuses to admit it but two of his best moves Cutting Shield and Blazing Trail are renamed Matsuhita-school techniques. His dream is to create his own fighting style that while not devoid of ki attacks doesn't focus on them and to teach it to others in his own dojo.

Personality:

A disciplined, focused individual who always manages to keep a level head no matter the situation, Ryuhei is someone who is dedicated to his chosen path and seeks only to live a good and respectable life. He is polite, friendly if a bit distant with strangers, a little bit cocky at times but maintains humility in the face of defeat.

However this was no always the case. Ryuhei was a troubled child, one who was often getting in trouble or starting fights and it looked like he was well on his way to becoming a trouble teenager as well. He was a delinquent with anger management issues and a distain for authority who was destined for life as a thug or criminal. The Ryuhei now is a changed person, but he still feels that old anger rising to the surface sometimes and worries that that side of him is not completely gone, merely suppressed.

Biography:

To Ryuhei, fighting is the most important thing in the world. Not because he enjoys fighting, though he does, or because he likes winning, which he does, but because he credits martial arts with saving his life. When he fights he is able to feel the progress he has made, see the results of his training. When he fights he can show his master that his teachings worked. When he fights in a tournament he can win titles, earn prize money and show the world how great kyokushin karate is; he can give something back.

As a child Ryuhei grew up in a working class household in Kyoto. His father was a construction worker and his mother worked a series of retail jobs; they had a comfortable life, but money was always a little tight and there was no room for luxury. Ryuhei was a normal boy with a normal childhood, average in school and with a close group of friends, he was happy. As he grew older however he began to fall in with a bad crowd; nothing too bad at first, they were still only children after all, but he began to misbehave at school and at home, his grades fell and his attitude changed for the worse.

Over time and as he grew older Ryuhei fell more and more into a delinquent lifestyle; graffiti, vandalism and shoplifting were common occurrences, as was running from the police or being dragged home by an officer. Once he was in his early teens, Ryuhei was regularly getting involved in fights for one reason or another, enough that he got quite good at it and was even starting to earn a reputation as a dangerous individual among his peers.

It was during one of these fights, a routine clash with a rival “gang” from another school, when he was first approached by Master Goichi. He and a couple of friends had been ambushed on the walk home from the arcade by a dozen students from a nearby school that they had fought in the past; outnumbered as they were it was a surprise for his attackers when Ryuhei managed to beat them all, though both of his friends were also knocked out in the fight.

It was as he was preparing to beat another kid’s face in that a middle aged man approached him. He’d been watching Ryuhei fight and asked him why he felt the need to continue to beat a defeated opponent, Ryuhei replied that it was as revenge for the ambush and so that they would know not to try this again. The man asked him if he would stop just because of something like that and Ryuhei had to admit that the answer was no, he would find another way to get back at the person who did this to him. The man asked if Ryuhei wanted to become stronger; the answer was yes.

That was how he met Master Goichi and that was how he became his student. Master Goichi began to train Ryuhei as his dojo, even waiving the normal membership fee that he charged, and taught him the art of kyokushin karate. Goichi had strict rules for his students; a code of conduct, obedience to the master while in the dojo, a commitment to always give your training 1000% or your effort, and no fighting outside of spars. To break any of these rules was to be expelled. Ryuhei wasn’t sure it was worth the effort.

He changed his mind the first time he saw Goichi demonstrate a Hundred-man Kumite.

Master Goichi took the term a little more literally than most. Rather than fight one hundred separate spars he simply challenged one hundred people to fight him at once. People of all skill levels, some of them not even practitioners of kyokushin but coming from other disciplines instead. Goichi beat them all.

After then Ryuhei dedicated himself to his training whole heartedly, rapidly advancing in his skill level and physical strength. Although he originally agreed to join the dojo so that he could grow strong enough to beat anyone who tried to challenge him or his friends on the street, his masters rules prevented him from using his karate for this purpose; even without this rule, he found himself spending so much time training that he no longer had time to get into trouble and was only able to see his friends in school.

His parents began to see another change in Ryuhei’s personality over time, this one more positive, as the teachings of kyokushin to always be courteous took root. His dedication to his training spread to dedication in other areas and Ryuhei even started to see improvements in his grades at school. Over time he began to spend less and less time with the bad crowd he was a part of, his friends growing tired of his lack of free time and changing attitude. From afar he watched as one by one his friends were kicked out of school or dropped out themselves; he saw the injuries they would bring to school with them from the constant fighting, sometimes missing school or even ending up in the hospital because of them. By reflecting on his past and by watching his potential future play out, he began to realise where the path he was heading down before led and how much Master Goichi had done for him by taking him away from that.

Upon graduating from high school Ryuhei opted not to go to college, but instead to join Master Goichi at the dojo as an assistant teacher. He also began to take part in tournaments, which was something he had done in the past but not at the level he was trying to compete at now, giving any prize money he won back to the dojo along with any titles he matched to win. A few months prior to entering the World Martial Arts Tournament for the first time he reached 4th Dan in kyokushin karate, meaning he had to complete his own Hundred-man Kumite and although he was able to complete it, the experience showed him that he had a lot of progress to make before he could reach his master’s level.

Kyokushin Karate - A style of stand-up, full contact karate routed in the philosophy of self-improvement, discipline and training developed by Mas Oyama, also known as the “God Hand”. Ryuhei has been training in this style of martial arts since he was a teenager and through a gruelling training regimen he has earned the grade of 4th Dan.
Hardened Body - Years of training his body to be able to endure as much physical punishment as possible has left Ryuhei with an unnaturally durable body. This aids him both in terms of defence and offence, as not only can he take a lot of punishment he also is able to hit harder as a result.

• Kaiten Geri [OFFENSIVE] – Also known as the “Kyokushin Wheel Kick”, this technique involve the user performing a forward side roll towards their opponent in the air, rotating their body and striking the opponent with their heel. While already a powerful technique that puts the users full body weight behind the attack, it can be further enhanced by the user empowering their leg with ki energy
• Morote Zuki [OFFENSIVE] – Literally translating as “double handed strike”, while this technique isn’t unique to Kyokushin it is taught to its practitioners as general karate technique. It involves striking the opponent with both hands simultaneously, as separate attacks, in order to make it difficult for them to defend against both at the same time; sacrificing the ability to defend to improve the chance of a hit. This too can be enhanced with ki to make it stronger
•Mae Geri [OFFENSIVE] – A forward snap kick that can be aimed at either the face or the midsection. What makes this snap kick different is that it is designed to strike with either the ball of the foot or the toes instead of with the base of the foot; while a normal front kick is mostly use to push the opponent and create distance, this kick delivers a piercing attack to the chin or the liver. As with all of Ryuhei’s physical attacks, this technique can be enhanced with ki
• Ki Block [DEFENSIVE] – The use of ki energy to strength the body by creating an aura around certain parts of the body. While useful as a defence against physical attacks this technique is most useful at reducing damage caused by other ki-based techniques

•Ki Flash [OFFENSIVE] – One of the few ranged ki attacks Ryuhei knows, this is a short ranged but wide burst of ki release from the palm; it resembles a fire suddenly flaring to life. This technique can be performed with one or two hands, with the two handed version taking longer to prepare but being stronger as a result

Ultimate Techniques

• God Hand [OFFENSIVE] – The ultimate ability taught to Ryuhei as part of his training in the Kyokushin school of karate; while on the surface it appears to be nothing but a simple punch, this deceptively powerful move requires the utmost concentration and perfect technique. The God Hand involves focusing all of the users remaining ki into one last attack, concentrating all of the power they can muster into their fist and striking the opponent with everything they have, gambling the outcome of the fight on a single power punch.

The technique strikes the opponent with the sum total of the user’s power, but a lack of focus or a sloppy technique means that power is wasted. The user needs to be wholly focused and they need to strike with perfect form to ensure not a single drop of energy is wasted.

The warrior without his gear stands tall and rather thick with his jutting muscles. His complexion is tanned and hair black with sickle-like sideburns. His personality tends to match his appearance: brutish, but he is kinder than his façade puts on. Intimidating, the warrior looks like quite the foe, which often inspires people who don't know him to leave him alone. There is, however, a charm that exists about the warrior. The impression he gives off of a big, dominating male tends to attract many a female, in which Lena is forced to keep back with a fist.

In his gear, no one familiar with Saiyans would have never guessed him to be one. His tail is always comfortably wrapped about his hips and his short, bladed hair hidden beneath his headdress. It is the exchange of blows or the discovery of his tail that reveals his Saiyan blood.

Equipment/Clothing: Upon his head is a headdress crafted from the fur and bones of the White Devil. It is what gives him his stark mane that acts as his "White Lion" trademark. Upon his broad shoulders sits a mantle of brown fur and steel. A brown cape obscures the bulk of his power, trapping his body heat within a cloak of warmth. Beneath the shroud is a fur-lined, black vest and black trousers. Upon his knees are steel kneeguards and about his forearms are black steel and leather bracers. The teeth of the White Devil were fashioned into a necklace that rests against his collar. The boots at his feet complete his arctic ensemble, estimating the weight of his equipment to be 145 lbs.

White Devil Crown: Designed by Grisha from the dense bones of the monster yeti known by the villagers of Kosetsu as The White Devil, the headdress alone weighs 45 lbs. It is more than just a crown. It is his identity and memento of his birth into his frozen home.

_{______P E R S O N A L I T Y_______}

Since waking from his coma, Grisha is rather free-spirited and unbound. The warrior goes where ever he pleases, when he pleases, and sometimes he won't return for days, which makes Lena worried sick. The Saiyan has learned to speak coherent sentences from Lena, but with him being so aloof, his speaking ability is still mediocre, neither entirely primitive nor advanced.

The warrior's desire to train overcame his desire to learn the etiquette Lena tries to educate him with. Grisha is simply downright barbaric from his bad manners, to his ability to smell on the level of a bloodhound, and to his appetite. The guardian often returns from being away when summoned by the Lion Horn. It is a horn carved from bone, which is blown in emergencies. It is wise for a visitor in Kosetsu village to not start trouble. If the horn is ever blown on him or her, they will face the fury of the lion. An enemy of Kosetsu village is an enemy of Grisha's "'nough said."

The Saiyan can't resist a challenge. He loves being able to throw some punches with a sparring partner or most of all, one that can give him a good fight. One of his biggest stereotypes is that the warrior is unintelligent because of the way he speaks. On the contrary, if challenged, his opponent will find that he is quite clever if not reckless.

Due to his mental deficiency, Grisha sometimes has irrational bouts of emotion in the form of rage or frustration triggered by something indefinite. No one knows what triggers these attacks, but its been assumed from witnessing certain situations that its when his brain is trying to remember or recall something to mind that just isn't there or accessible.

Overall, the warrior is a handful, and when around people, he needs constant supervision. The warrior isn't afraid to say it like it is, and is unaccustomed to the advanced technology that exists outside his home region.

_{______H I S T O R Y_______}

A General

The Saiyan's existence goes back to the time of the Saiyan-Tuffle war. Grisha, at the time known as Oniyon, was apart of King Vegeta's Saiyan Elite and took part in the destruction of the Tuffle race. He served King Vegeta like a dog until Frieza's treachery started wiping out one Saiyan after another. When King Vegeta chose to storm Frieza's ship, petrified by the power he sensed fluctuating from the vessel, Oniyon stayed behind and abandoned his king and homeland. Shame rested heavily on his shoulders during his shuttle ride across the cosmos. His conscience berated him with logic and how the Saiyans should have retreated until they were strong enough to rival Frieza and his lackeys. His honor was crushed and whilst in his depression, his pod approached a planet unlike he had ever seen before. His pod broke the atmosphere to plunge haphazardly into a snowy scape. It crashed into the base of a mountain and at the foot of a frozen lake. The chilling waters and temperature penetrated the capsule, and in his terror, the ice had taken him.

Coma

The mysterious meteor that had crashed in the mountains attracted the people of the nearby village Kosetsu. Subordinates of the village chief were sent to investigate the impact site and when they returned, they brought with them on a sled a mysterious orb. With ice picks and mallets, they broke the ice about the pod and forced open its hatch to find frozen within a man donning a uniform unfamiliar to them--and they hadn't seen much living in the mountains their entire lives. The people were unsure if their find was man or alien, but it was dubbed that the creature, whatever he was, was dead. The village chief ordered the body to be thawed in the hot spring and given a proper burial. As commanded, the body was thawed, and the still waters became disturbed by oxygen bubbles. To the people's awe, the alien had survived but was in a deep coma.

The White Lion

There was a wicked creature that occasionally attacked the village. Twelve feet with horns like a devil, the yeti would terrorize Kosetsu village, devouring their herds, children, and those vulnerable enough to be caught. The White Devil came unpredictably once a month and would consume twenty villagers before its appetite was satiated. As the people scattered in fright from the devil's presence, the alien was unguarded and became vulnerable. The alien's caretaker Lena tried to deter the devil from reaching him, but held tightly by her father, she was unable to do so.

The White Devil found him and hefted him above his jaws. Dangling the naked Saiyan above rows of blade-like teeth, the Saiyan harshly woke and unleashed an enraged scream. The decibels of his scream shook the yeti down to his cells until he exploded, having been ripped apart by the assault. Bathed in blood and screaming irrationally, the villagers thought they were observing a lion, bellowing his dominance over a kill as his tail thrashed about.

I Am Grisha

The alien responded to questions although slowly. His gaze was distant, and the villagers believed that his brain may have been damaged by the cold. When asked his name, the Saiyan responded ineptly with, "Gr...sh..." Lena thus named him Grisha and with her weaning, he became a respected and cherished guardian of the village.

Current Story

Grisha, Lena, and Tobias have left the frozen north on a journey to the World Martial Arts Tournament. They are hoping that Grisha will win the tournament and some zeni to aid Kousetsu Village's survival for the winters to come.

_Abilities

Cold Resistance: Grisha has trained himself to mentally and physically endure the coldest temperatures of his snowy homeland. The villagers often marvel the warrior when they see him walking in nothing but shorts in the snow and ice, while they burrow beneath layers of wool and fur.

Saiyan Resilience: Grisha has trained his body in the highest altitudes where oxygen is thinnest and the cold, ones would claim, to be of the ninth circle. One of Grisha's goals is to reach the top of Mount Tengoku whose summit supposedly touches the heavens. Every day Grisha braves the hike, but even with his current training, he is still unable to endure the chill without his clothes becoming weighted down with ice and risking a frostbitten digit or limb. The warrior scales as high as he can endure and trains at that level.

• Shatter (Offensive): Grisha stomps the ground upon his opponent’s charging approach, causing the ground to shatter and upheaval, throwing his opponent’s balance and opening up their defense for attack.
• Faint (Defensive): The bigger you are, the slower you are right? Wrong! With Grisha’s muscles inflated with ki, he can move in short, instant bursts, leaving an afterimage of himself to fool the enemy.
• Steel Thyself (Defensive): Grisha will execute a stance and concentrate on hardening his body with ki, raising his defense against physical and ki attacks.
• Muscle Counter (Offensive): Grisha will contract his muscles the moment an opponent’s fist or feet makes contact. The sudden bulge of his contracted muscle sends a shock through his opponent’s limbs. An average human would risk breaking their bones.

War Cry (Offensive): Grisha’s enraged scream. The decibels are so strong that the villagers of Kousetsu say that was how Grisha killed the White Devil. His scream vibrated the White Devil’s body until the yeti exploded. Best scenario, a sturdier opponent will find themselves temporarily deaf and disoriented.

Special Delivery (Offensive):Due to Grisha’s brain damage, normally he is unable to project ki. However, plot dependent, there are times where Grisha will have episodes where he will recall an attack General Oniyon used to know. Special Delivery is that attack. A red square of violent ki will swell between his hands. Grisha will then project the red ki in a rectangular, prismatic beam. The beam is as solid as a pillar and can pierce through an enemy like a lance. Once the pillar of ki touches down on the earth. Like a stick of dynamite, it explodes bathing the vicinity in red as a dome rises and dissipates.

Lena (NPC): She is Grisha’s adoptive family. She tends to take care of Grisha like a mother does her child, except she’s the younger one. Despite being a teenager, she knows how to put her foot down when Grisha gets out of hand. Her father Tobias claims that she gets that quality from her mother. Lena secretly likes Grisha, and she will become jealous of any other guy or girl who tries to flirt with him.

Tobias (NPC): He is Lena’s father and Grisha’s well…they don’t exactly see eye-to-eye. Tobias sees Grisha as a wild animal Lena brought into the house and won’t release back into the wilderness. They always butt heads, and even so, they still somewhat respect each other. Grisha will still protect Tobias if only because he’s Lena’s father.

Intimidating - While there’s a great deal of freaky things out there in the universe, everyone’s a little put off by a guy who won’t show his face. Even to god killers, Karne can throw them off their game with his unflinching stare as he refuses to break eye contact until someone’s down or knocked away.
Lucha Libre - While not as prestigious or highly looked upon by most as the likes of Asian martial arts, Lucha Libre is nothing to scoff at. A flurry of punches, grapples, throws and pins is what mostly makes up this style of fighting of which Karne is a master in.

Basic Techniques:

•The Everyman’s Grapple [OFFENSIVE/DEFENSIVE] - Karne latches on and brings his enemy to their knees. With a combination of his strong grip, strategic placement of his arms and many other minor considerations, Karne is capable of keeping almost any enemy stationary for at least a moment. Perfect for setting up attacks, catching a breather or defusing a fight.
•Tiger Claw Flurry [OFFENSIVE] - A Barrage of Ki infused punches and scratches. Despite a human’s natural lack of claws, Karne’s worked his way around this evolutionary mishap with the use of his ki. His Ki solidifies just off of his hands and form claws capable of cutting through nearly anything it comes into contact with.
•Burden’s Release [OFFENSIVE/UTILITY] - A haphazordous, uncalculated burst of ki. Karne lets loose a great amount of ki from his body into a blast all around of himself, leaving him drained of a lot of ki power but fine physically otherwise. While it’s a risky move in a fight, it’s perfect when wanting to hide from those attuned to tracking ki as it’ll temporary leave Karne appearing to be as powerful as an average Joe.Karne
•Full Body Counter Strike [DEFENSIVE] - Despite his impressive endurance and speed, sometimes Karne just needs to take a hit. In an attempt to mitigate any damage done, Karne s learned to flex nearly any muscle of his body push back against an attack done against it. He won’t cancel out the blow but it’ll mitigate some of the would be damage and lessen any stagger that would have been caused.

The Great Burning Kidney - Due to the unusual nature of Karne’s artificial ki, his body is able to essentially act as a sponge to natural ki. He’s able to draw ambient ki from his surroundings (people included) at a constantly increasing rate. The absorbed ki is immediately given off usually in the form of a proportionally increasing ki aura. It can also be given off in the form of a small concentrated beam though this is a risky move as the beam only begins to be felt after around five seconds which basically equates to an entirety in a fight.

No Theatrics - When the whimsical and flashy moves don’t work, Karne has one last move to lean on. Karne loses his fighting stance, locks his fingers together and swings his fists in a not-so-impressive display. The blow looks pretty vanilla in comparison to most of Karne’s moves but by pumping all the ki he can into the move, Karne creates a devastating blow.

History

Karne’s early life is masked in just as much mystery as his head. Some people say he came from the slums of some city and rose his way through the ranks of the wrestling world. Other people claim the complete opposite, claiming Karne came from a wealthy, old family and wrestling was his outlet from his very formal life. The mystery ends though once Karne entered the big leagues of wrestling. Going up against the then champion Jack Rebound as a warm up match, Karne wiped the floor with him in an unexpected turn. Suddenly nothing about the wrestler known as Karne was a mystery save for his identity. He was approached by tons of managers and in the end accepted the deal made by one Joshi Sato, once a manager to the stars but disgraced and blacklisted after he was found to be rigging fights.

Karne stayed at the top for a good few years before coming to blows with a foe with a twist. Another masked wrestler named Del Bonito came in with flashier moves than even the great Karne’s. As quickly as Karne had made it to the top he became dethroned. Soon the praise stopped coming and the great career of Karne came to an end… for now.

Joshi kept trying to find Karne gigs to no avail while Karne got hung up with his fight against Del Bonito. He’d seen people wrestle for years but Del Bonito wrestled like no man Karne had seen before, setting off some alarms in Karne’s mind. Reluctant at first, Karne managed to convince Joshi to look into Del Bonito’s past and began to find some red flags of his own. Del Bonito had quite a few unseen benefactors that contributed to his ‘training’ and began selling all sorts of merchandise based on the guy. His manager couldn’t get a whole lot of info on the benefactors but he did get an address which was good enough for Karne.

On a self imposed mission, Karne took the address in hand and left to get some answers. The dress turned out to be a storage locker lot with little to nobody around. Seemingly coming to a dead end, Karne was beginning to lose his gusto for finding the truth until he found a locker door that looked like it was used a lot more than the others. With nothing but a hunch and a thinned out nerves, he lifted the door up and revealing a stairway down into what looked like a lab with gym equipment and targets.

The masked wrestler walked in and looked around in wonder and confusion at all the equipment as he tried to somehow connect this to Del Bonito. That connection came pretty quickly as a dumbbell got tossed at Karne’s head. Del Bonito, floating above the ground stood in-between Karne and freedom. Karne questioned Del Bonito on the nature of the equipment and why exactly he was now able to fly but he was met with a flying punch from Del Bonito. The two scuffled with Del bonito clearly having the upper hand but Karne managing to avoid any fatal blows. Finally Del Bonito managed to land a decent blow to Karne, knocking him into the side of a glass vat and spilling some of the liquid contents onto Karne. He felt worse for ware but he also felt something click within himself, like plugging in a christmas tree to a nuclear power source. Karne felt like he was going to burst but when a flying kick came towards him, Karne managed to move faster than he ever had before hand and smack the attack away. The liquid had bestowed Karne a great amount of ki and while he didn’t have the same skill with ki as Del Bonito, his fighting skills made up the gap and then-some.

The fight ended shortly after with Del Bonito out cold after a ki infused choker hold and one short phone call later had the police coming to take him away. Karne was happy to have closure but sad by his new development of powers. The use of ki was strictly prohibited in the world of wrestling for the obvious advantages it gave. Getting ready to take off the mask, Joshi came to Karne with a proposal; step it up from pure wrestling and move onto the big leagues. The World Martial Arts Tourney.
