Nic and lacey rolled their eyes " so melodramatic "they said at the same time

Kaala heard this and chuckled. "It's funny how people tend to forget that humans were and still are food to monsters. Humans had no means to protect themselves from the supernatural abilities of monster and their brutal might but now...since we know how to fight, it's kind of funny hearing a human-like beast playing victim here. Basically you now know what it feels like to be hunted." She said. "But I don't go after every monster. I only attack those that do harm to innocence."

Nic smiled at what kaala said "I don't hunt monsters either unless they attack me I just want to live in the forest"

peter huffed.
"humans break trust, humans do not earn trust, humans are, themselves, monsters in their own right...the true beasts."
He narrowed his eyes.

Nic smiles " humans could easily say the same things about monsters"

peter sighed. He growled and snarled.

Nic looks at lacey " but I don't believe that humans and monsters can't be trusted Lacey has earned my full trust "" and Nic has earned mine"

peter sighed and narrowed his eyes. He said nothing.

Nic smiles " if you're such a pessimist all the time Peter then you will never make new friends"

peter huffed.
"I prefer to be alone."

Nic smiles even wider and even lacey starts to smile " then why are you still hanging around with us"

"you cling like glue somehow. I run but I somehow bump into you again."
Peter growled. Then, he suddenly sniffed the air.
Marigold…
He suddenly whispered.

Marigold had been flying by when she was caught in a trap. Peter suddenly rushed to where she was, only to be trapped as well.

Nic looked worried "c'mon lacey"they followed Peter using Lacey's sense of smell and found them" Lacey I will get Peter out you get that other monster " " on it"they began to get Peter and marigold out of the traps

peter struggled. marigold struggled as well.

They finally cut them free " whoo"

peter and marigold both fell to the ground. peter growled afterwards. Marigold winced.

Nic looked at peter " this wasn't me by the way and would it kill you to say thank you this is the second trap I have cut you out of"

peter grumbled what could be assumed was a thank you and he walked off. Marigold sighed.
"human beast tamers killed his family. He does not trust ANY humans at all."
Marigold explained.
