"awe baby" he says "i like it when you blush, i hope you never stop blushing" he says and puts his arms around her and rubs her back. he pulls her closer to him. he nuzzled into her neck and kisses her there.

"yeah i guess we could" she says to him "where do you think the host is at?" she asked "everyone came last night and was greeting guests, since there are no more guest where do you think he will be?" she asked him

James shrugged.
"He could be greeting last minute arrivals. or, as per rumor, he could be hanging around outside by the black roses. he likes to relax near the flowers, or so I heard."

Elizabeth gasped. She tried to pull away a bit when he nuzzled her neck like that. Her entire face was bright red now.

she glanced at him "where do you hear these rumors?" she asked "i mean i dont hear them?" she says "can you read minds or something?" she stated.

he felt her trying to get away and he let her go "im sorry" he says to her and he gets up. he saw she was red in the face. "i didnt mean.." he says and scratched the back of his head and sighed

James shook his head.
"I overheard some from his family talking before I even arrived here. Nothing bad I can assure you."

Elizabeth sighed.
"I..I'm sorry. I'm just not used to affection yet, especially not what you just did."
She felt bad now.

she turned around and looked at him "you know his family?" she asked him.

" its my fault, i wasn't thinking, i should have realized" he told her "you have nothing to apologize for, its all on me, forgive me?" he told her and held out his hand for her.

"I passed through where some of them lived on the way here."
James told her.

Elizabeth took a breath. she nodded and took his hand.

"oh" she says looking at him "thats convenient" she says "and how did you know they were related?" she asked him

he smiled at her and twirled her around. he hummed a song as he pulled her to him and began dancing with him

"There was a woman who had similar eyes as him who smiled at me. she actually asked if I was heading to the ball."
James told her.

Elizabeth gasped. But, she soon followed along with the steps.

"oh okay" she says to him. "maybe we can go find him and find out" she says to him

He smiled at at her as they danced. "how is my lovely doing?" he asked her "what else would like to dabble in today?" he asked her

"alright."

Elizabeth blinked. She shrugged.
"I secretly read romance novels when my parents were not around."
She sighed a bit.

"you already told me that" he smiled at her "but i think you misunderstood my question" he says "i meant was what else would you like to do today?" he asked her

Kali smiled "your too good to me" she tells him and kissed his cheek. "i would like at least one maybe two to bring back with me" she says as she walks out of the library

James smiled a bit. He led her outside. They would find Eric near the roses.

Elizabeth shrugged.
"We could go for a walk?"

She walked with him into the gardens "black roses?" she says out loud "they are unnatural right?" she asked as she walked around looking for Eric.

he dipped her back and smiled at her and winked "a walk sounds nice, how about in the gardens, i heard they are beautiful" he tells her "maybe you will find more flowers you like"

James sighed. He shook his head no.
"They were imported here and planted in the ground."

Elizabeth shrugged a bit.
"alright."

"imported" from where?" she asked him. "i didnt know that Black roses were a thing" she told him as they walked.

"did you really like the flowers i gave you this morning?" he asked her "tell me the truth" he said as he held her hand and they walked through the house to head out bacck

"Another country, that is all I know."
James admitted.

Elizabeth looked at him and nodded. She gave a faint smile.
"They were nice."

"oh" she says as she touched one to really make sure it was real. "they are pretty in their own way i guess, but who wants Black roses, unless its for a funeral?" she says

"nice is good" he says "i like to make you smile, it lights up your face" he told her.

James simply shrugged.

Elizabeth simply shrugged.

"do you have a favorite color?" she asked James. She walked through and smelling flowers she thought pretty. She soon saw Eric and smiled. "hello" she says and bowed her head to him. "IM Kali" she says to him.

he guided them through the house and soon found themselves outside. He walks with her to the garden.
